Scientists develop antiviral color nanocoating technology
Since the onset of COVID-19, we've become accustomed to seeing antiviral films attached to elevator buttons and public transportation handles. However, conventional antiviral films are made by mixing antiviral metal particles with polymers. Due to the manufacturing process, only a very small fraction of these metal particles is exposed on the surface. As a result, contrary to the belief that these films will protect us from viruses, the actual antiviral effect upon contact with the film surface is not significant.
The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) has announced that a collaborative research team led by Dr. So-Hye Cho from the Materials Architecturing Research Center and Dr. Seung Eun Lee of the Research Animal Resources Center has developed a nanocoating technology that not only maximizes the antiviral activity of the surface, but also enables the realization of various colors. The work is published in the journal ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.

Also just imagine when Megatron's coding calms down and stops assuming everything is a threat that needs to be met with immediate lethal force and finally leaves his quarters. Every bot he meets has to basically be like **P A N I C** while trying to act normal. Not at all paying attention to the chirping little blob on your pauldron with some very telling finials. Never seen anything even remotely close to that in all my functioning so please don't tear my head off Lord Megatron.
And yes I like to think sparkling rides on his shoulder. Maybe special baby magnets? Like the grasping reflex in babies.
Special magic baby magnetic servos
Logically, there's probably an instinctive reason why Cybertronian coding would necessitate this murderous intent to anything that could be harmful to sparkling (ie predacons to ancient transformers)
I could also see so much casually cradling Silverlight to Megatron's (and eventually Optimus's) chassis. That sparkling will probably not touch the ground until a way a lot later on, it's too fragile and there's too much that could happen with big mecha walking around.

[long fucking sigh] so the biggest kitten has inflamed eyes. Severely. She can't see. I was suspecting this litter was sick with feline herpesvirus and this now confirms my suspicions, all too familiar with the fucked up eyes but i ain't ever seen anything THIS bad. And there's no fucking veterinarian anywhere that allows walk-ins, i'm going to be forced to wait for an appointment or i can go to an emergency vet and get overcharged for the same meds a regular vet would prescribe all while taking time from people waiting with animals who need instant attention more. I hate the post-covid world bro. Remember when veterinarians allowed walk-ins. Remember when you could just go anywhere and more often than not they had time. Remember that. Im going to become the joker.

Apparently, having three consecutive cold sore breakouts for three weeks is "a red flag" and I "need to see a doctor". And when a cold sore breaks containment from your mouth and sets up shop on your philtrum that's "bad". Who knew, am I right?

I'm not in the mood for hearing my mom and i telling me "you and I are so stupid". Like no ma'am, IDC why youre bunching me up in your misstep, but i refuse to believe I'm stupid. I spent too many years belittling myself. I can accept I made a mistake and I can be careless. But i am not stupid.

Mod Sus got a little bit lost in thoughts while doing the re-taggings again and just wondering.
If you peeps know any good medical horror movies that are not just fetishizing the surgeries or medical body horror, I could use some recommendations. Love me some good medical gore but could use seeing something else than some crazy pervy doctor drooling over their working.
