They post out fics pretty often and they’re all absolutely outstanding! Jin: lmfao, that man was insane! Like I’ve seen some interesting thing before.. but…. So First I was like ‘aw little nice guy act. That’s cute.” Then he kept say he’s not gonna let anyone hurt y/n and that he’ll protect her and I’m like….. ‘boy I don’t even know.’ Lmfao then he turns out to be this intense yandere…. If I can’t have her, no one can.

Yoongi: Fucking Yoongi! Damn you yoongi! I was rooting for that cute nice guy/shy guy act….. but babe I could smell you out a mile away. I knew that shit was to good to be true. I think up until the branding, I was whipped. After the branding I was like ‘babe… what we doing? What is this?’ Then this man assaulted her… I was done.

Hoseok: I put Hoseok because I don’t know where the hell hobi was. I’m not gonna lie that man low key traumatize me. Like after that bar smut I was like 😀 one thing that gave him away with him being like a double agent was the kidnapping. You said he was there but there was only sounds of Namjoon being dragged out then y/n was alone. Like ain’t no way he just got up and left. Lol

Namjoon: I’ll be honest…. You’re a genius babe. You took beefy buff buff from dom energies to a sub. He was whipped! Lmfao. He was probably the most sane person there. With me, I don’t have like a mommy/daddy kink so Namjoon’s and jimin’s part specifically were so funny and awkward for me.

Jimin: dead ass….. fuck you. I give a damn about your sob story. I don’t give a damn about you wanting to ‘change’. I don’t give a damn about you becoming whipped for y/n. One thing that did kind of hurt my feelings was the possibility of Jimin being a sweet/nice person before yoongi ruined him.

Taehyung: I’ll be honest… this story low key almost made me tae biased… lmfao. Anyways. He was insane but also (besides namjoon) the most sane person. He gave lover energy while everyone else gave fuck buddy. I’ll never admit to this but my feelings were hurt when he was ‘dead’. Taehyung was also giving ‘I work for everyone, but I also work for no one.’

Jungkook: he was giving mixed signals from the start. Now he was whipped! But then he wasn’t… It gave me trust issues. I was low key shocked when he did that car chase. Like babe I thought we were besties.

Y/n: yes she gets an opinion. This girl was sincerely aching my nerves. Bestie was all over the place. I’m surprised she doesn’t have a concussion from everyone targeting her head. The bruises this girl must have…. But she seriously had everyone whipped for her. Lmfao. Like they’ll sacrifice everything for her. Had them trained. She had to be good.

I haven’t read the two sided endings yet but I’m sure when I do… I’ll be back. Although my essay is mostly me ranting about the downfalls of each character, I promise that story was/is really fun. Like the suspense that happened in it. I think one of my favorite scenes was when yoongi drove y/n to Jin, but Jin didn’t know yoongi, but Jin knew yoongi was the one that threatened him, then yoongi smirked and and went like ‘shh’ then pointed a finger gun at y/n. What was funny was that yoongi said that he’ll deliver her right to him.

I LOVE THIS AND YOU. thank you for sending this in its always so much fun to see what yall are thinking :))))))) you're dead on with like basically all of your opinions though, i agree hahaha. i put some thoughts down myself too -

JIN: ive thought about this quite a lot actually - whether or not jin is yandere or just like crazy. jin is troubled for sure, he's like not technically in love with yn or anything though she was just an appetizing victim to him. his character is notably unrealistic and kinda just something i was having fun with because he was off the rails and did not give two shits about anything

YOONGI: i wrote death valley for Yoongi. like he was the muse he was the center he was the man. it is a dark fic, and he turns out to be a dark guy but if we look at the psyche of yn she is so attuned to liking this made up glamorized idea of a pop star (jimin) and yoongi was able to embody all of that. she was bound to get attached, he played her right to him. the only thing he didn't anticipate was that yn was genuinely being delusional at first and she was not actually how he expected her to be. taehyung however knew because taehyung was the one that actually picked up on her mannerisms

TAEHYUNG: and that brings me to the man of the hour. i could write a whole other fic about death valley taehyung to be honest. he is, first and foremost selfish. he is manipulative and charming, but doesn't actually care about anyone but himself. not jimin, not yn, not yoongi. he has had to be this way, and thats not a part of death valley but id assume he has some cold backstory that made him this way

HOSEOK: hobi's name is yet to be cleared. he's not as bad as he's been made out to be which we will find out about in the ending. he's essentially just yoongi's bitch and he usually never steps out of line (he rejected yn at first) but then he did and shit went down and he's suffering the consequences. he's just trying to survive in a very strange industry

JIMIN: this goes back to yn's psyche. jimin turns out to not be what she expected but the fact that she idolized him so heavily makes her want him regardless. it explores the extent of that idolization. and since jimin was always so heavily sheltered away, he's attracted to the very fact that yn worships him - but then gets even more attracted when she starts to show who she really is and that she isn't gonna put up with his childish antics. i always say that jimin and yoongi are opposites - yoongi is calm and collected but RAGES past a point while jimin is a total brat most of the time but when he gets truly angry he is very collected and focused. more on that in the ending though. he was not a good person because of how yoongi manipulated him but yes, at the core he's not that bad. he doesn't want to be bad, and he really does like yn a lot he just doesn't know how to manage himself

NAMJOON: clears throat. look all im gonna say is that the cute one's are always sus. namjoon was at the start of it all. he was there throughout everything. he was always around and always knew what was happening. he dragged her to the heart of the mess right away. he's conveniently been able to build a genuine friendship with yn too and made himself out to be a hero most of the time. but he's not so innocent. he's after something. a few things. one, he hates jimin. has since the start. not a huge fan of yoongi either but he does what he has to to build his career. he holds resentment for both of them, a notable amount. there is an overlying theme of obsession in the fic, not just romantic. yn's obsession with the singer jimin. yoongi's obsession with jimin, turning into one with yn. jimin's obsession with yoongi as someone to look up to. taehyungs obsession with power. namjoon's obsession with becoming famous and getting revenge.

JUNGKOOK: he was meant to be a breath of fresh air, a fuck buddy and was useful to stir up the plot when i needed. he had an internal struggle of being true to himself versus doing what was expected of him. now he's a good guy though, so finally he chooses himself over everyone else too.

YN: a lot of you have expressed that you find the reader to be very irritating and chaotic, and TRUST ME I KNOW HAHAHAHA. she is self destructive in a lot of ways, and a promiscious legend all at once. the story was trying to show her changing over the fic, becoming more just strong and raw to herself. taking charge of her situation rather than letting these men manipulate it for her. i have fucked up yandere plots but try to empower the reader by the end usually hahahahahaha maybe not really idk. she is a mess, and she reflects the story too which is chaos and was meant to be

i also wanna say that, i realize and admit that death valley was very confusing at times. there are a lot of things stylistically and plot wise i wished i would have done differently and they are things i am trying to address in nexus. like, death valley was PWP to the core. for me it was about creating the visual situations to build up to the next smut scene more than anything. smut smut smut smut it was just fun crazy wild chaos.

in nexus, i hope to do a better job of building character personalities, making the plot more central than the smut. keeping the reader on their toes with a good amount of twists and turns, but also not too much that its hard to keep track. ot7 fics are hard, and kudos to authors who do them well. it was a lot of fun writing death valley at first, and i hope to be able to give you all a fun, enjoyable ending that ties everything up in a neat knot and leaves you satisfied.

ANYWAY all that aside, death valley is a party and the party isnt over! i love getting your perspectives and interpretations its really motivating for me so thank you again <3 <3 <3

The “BL” Crew (does not stand for boys love I’m just a moron who made that abbreviation before knowing what it stands for). My main crew and main series, a lot is a big WIP right now as I’m slowly redoing the first book and all the lore. Why? I love torture. Book is fantasy type but I won’t specify what.

Lacie, the protagonist. God tier idiot, bisexual bipolar depressed MESS, insomniac, former theater kid, doesn’t know what she wants out of life but currently it is not This(plot of book). Hot headed, impulsive, crude, rude, Mommy IssuesTM, would rather be taking a nap right now, rules are made to be broken, absolutely fucking FERAL, more bags under her eyes than the airport lost and found. 5’5, 130lbs, Aries, age 18, white as shit like literally the whitest human you have ever seen, strawberry blonde hair in a 2011 Hayley Willaims haircut with long bangs, the darkest brown eyes you’ve ever seen that stare directly into your soul. Lanky, no curves, body of a 12 year old boy but works out so she can and will kick your ass and thats a threat. Not human?

Josh. Soft boy, smart, Lacie’s cousin and only friend for like the first 18 years of her life, autistic anxious mess who’s special interest is anchient egyptian history, is in honors classes, despises math, passes out when his girlfriend looks too cute, just needs a hug. Can eat a whole carton of easy mac if left alone, whole wardobe is the same outfit just different colors/hoodies, sensory issues, seriously can someone give this guy a hug. 5’9, 150lbs, Pisces, age 18, mixed (half whatever flavor of white Lacie’s family is [they don’t even know its just some scandanavian shit and irish], and half mexican on his mom’s side), medium olive skin with freckles and moles, dark chocolate brown hair that’s a bit of a 2009 Beiber cut, warm brown eyes, not beefy, a lil thicc and self concious about it but squishy boys are GOOD. Gets bit by a werewolf so now he is one his mood on it is “thats a lot to unpack but let’s just throw the whole suitcase away”.

Zander. There is not one braincell in this man, himbo KING, pansexual dumbass with undiagnosed ADHD, no impulse control, head empty and full at the same time, PTSD, his fashion sense should be an actual crime, gets in fights to feel something, basic requirements for him to be attracted to you: kick his ass. Drinks his respect women juice, sees a folding table and must immediately launch himself on it, chaotic, cannot drive a car and will not, food aggression and eats enough for 3 people but never gains weight which is ILLEGAL, him and Lacie may be a couple.....but in this house we stan slow burn, he talks in caps and every sentence either ends with a question mark or exclaimation point, likes romcoms. 6’2, 190lbs, Sagittarius, age 19, austrailian roots and has the accent but is from [REDACTED FOR STORY REASONS], white, dorito shaped with long legs, blueish black hair that’s long and messy, dark navy eyes that match his hair, bigass neck scar from [REDACTED]. Gay dad friend who is TIRED of having to be in charge of a bunch of teenagers, only one with full functioning braincells, lowkey a genius who loves engineering, mixes magical technology with human technology because he likes to play god, is he ever sober? No one knows, will kill for a bottle of single malt, his fashion sense? Tastefully expensive suits perfectly tailored. Likes building his own weapons that no one else knows how to even use, generally non-threatening but can get scary if needed. 6’4, 140lbs string bean man, Scorpio, age 179 but looks early 30s, I know I said Lacie is the whitest human but he’s even paler like a literal sheet of paper with scandanavian roots/ancestors were vikings or some shit, blonde hair styled like 2013 Brendon Urie lmfao, light crystal blue eyes. Danielle. Just because she is small and cute doesn’t mean you should underestimate her she WILL fuck your shit up. Quiet when angey which is terrifying. Josh is her bf and she loves him so much but also loves teashing the shit out of him. Anika. Calling her a bitch/slut is a compliment, bisexual, a bit of a mean girl but she grows out of it give her time!!! Is always Too Much, the horny friend, favorite color is red so thats almost all of her outfits, loves to show off her body as much as she can because she’s hot and knows it and thrives in her own confidence. Her mom is literally like Regina George’s mom from Mean Girls but married a rich man 20 years older than her, Anika doesn’t know her bio dad but thats fine neither does her mom and her step dad is nice and does his best to be a dad. Nb uses they/them he/him pronouns but honestly will respond to any, goth lite, only attracted to men and ace, can read minds so knows all your secrets, mischevious little shit, great friends with Zander and enjoys his dumbass thoughts and that he’s basically a human version of Jackass, wears too many rings, goth boots for kicking and fashion babey, always has the freshest memes and will not hesitate to roast in the group chat, hangs with the girls most of the time. Chaos god who loves making art, be gay do crime, skateboard and spraypaint. 5’8”, 165lbs, Leo, age 18, Native American, masculine frame, dark brown skin, blue eyes, firetruck red shoulder length hair that’s usually in a ponytail, knock-off gucci sunglasses just for judging their friends. Has magic in their blood so not entirely human and can cast spells and shit (don’t roast me its a wip and I’m doing my research)

Sam. Boho goddess, aromantic, makeup and nails are always instagram worthy, quiet and stoic type but losens up around close friends, Rex is her best friend, has some trauma and doesn’t want to talk about it, emotionally numbed out a bit and wants to purely vibe. Has seen some of the worst parts of humanity and wishes she hadn’t, finds no point in being bitter or resentful though because that won’t change anything, loves cats and once she moves out shes adopting one or three. Has wine aunt energy. 5’4, 200lbs PLUS SIZE QUEEN, Scorpio, age 18, Filipino (her parents are immigrants fun fact!), really olive skin sometimes has a grey/green tinge to it, dark brown almost black shoulder length hair, gold-hazel eyes. Sam’s the victim of a family curse that requires her to consume human hearts to survive, she can transform into a pretty scary looking being and uses this curse to hunt down pedoph*les, r*pists, murderers, and abusers. Andy. Baby of the group, must be protected at all costs, 100% didn’t sign up to be in a friendgroup of 90% monsters but highkey loves it, trans, bi, anxiety MAXED, just wants to draw comics and cosplay spiderman, has to babysit his two younger sisters a lot because his parents are....not great, and as a result now knows all the lines to Tangled and The Little Mermaid. Big nerd energy, has to draw on everything including homework, gets inspiration for comics from his friends, awkward and socially anxious, drinks way too much tea and will accidentally steal your pens. Fears include: crowds, thunder, tall angry men, tiny spaces. Just trying his best. 5’2, 100lbs BEANPOLE BOY, Leo, age 16, white (irish and scottish roots), freckles absolutely EVERYWHERE, orangey red hair thats in desperate need of a haircut, chocolate brown eyes, braces, chronic nail biter. Five Teachers Walk Into A Bar...  -Chapter 4

A/N: OMG another update can I get a boo ya??? As always please and review and one more thing: I am currently on the hunt for a beta to help me edit my story and stuff like that so if you’re interested in that just message me or send me an ask. Thanks! And now on with the date!!

"Kaylee I have nothing to wear!" Nancy exclaims throwing dresses and blouses on the bed. This date was in 2 hours and she had nothing to wear, her hair looked atrocious, she couldn't find her favorite shoes, and to top it off her favorite lipstick melted in the car! And Kaylee was no help whatsoever.

Kaylee laughs, "You're stressing out way too much about this. Relax, it's just a date!"

"I haven't been on one since before May was born, I'm like a rusty sink!" May retorts.

"Oh wow yea, you should be worried."

"Kaylee you suck."

"I'm kidding!" Kaylee says walking over to Nancy. "Come on let me help you."

 They went over her closet for thirty minutes before deciding on a red, skater dress; it was breezy and casual, perfect for a picnic. Kaylee helped curl her hair into soft, effortless waves. Some mascara, a little eyeliner and red lipstick later she was ready.

"You look hot. And I'm not saying that because I'm your cousin." Kaylee comments.

"You really think so?" Nancy asks again while looking in the mirror.

"May! Can you come here?" Kaylee called out. Little May bounded down the hall to the room.

"Ya kaylee?" May asks.

"Doesn't mommy look pretty?" Kaylee asks her. May looks at Nancy and her jaw drops. Literally.

"Mommy! You look like the prettiest princess in the entire world!" She exclaims. Kaylee and Nancy chuckle and Nancy hugs May, "Thanks Mayflower."

Just then the doorbell rang and all three of them turned their heads in the direction of the door.

"AH!" Nancy yells. Kaylee and May run to the door to answer it. And there was Chris standing there in a button down and some nice jeans.

"Mr. Evans!" May exclaims, Chris smiles and waves.

"Hi May, how are you?" He asks.

"I'm great! Kaylee made me mac and cheese!"

"Yes I did." Kaylee says. It was honestly a miracle she didn't burn down the kitchen. Chris turns to Kaylee and extends his hand, "I don't believe we've met, I'm Chris."

Oh I know all about you Mr. Evans hehe. "I'm Kaylee, Nancy’s cousin. It's nice to meet you." Kaylee answers. Wow he was beefy; USDA prime beefy beefy-ness.

"Are you sure you're not a lumberjack?" Kaylee asks him. He laughs.

"Yea, pretty sure." He answers.

"Kaylee stop Harassing Chris!" Nancy shouts walking into the room.

Now Chris had heard about how time froze when you saw your soulmate for the first time and granted this wasn’t the first time he saw her, but when he saw her it was like the world stopped. The universe somehow telling him, ‘this is it. This is who you’re supposed to be with.’ And if the universe was telling him that then he probably should listen.

“You look beautiful,” he says.

She blushes, “Thanks you look pretty nice too.”

“Very nice.” Kaylee commented. Nancy groans, “I’m so sorry about her.”

Chris chuckles, “Its okay I have sisters too. Um, you ready to go?”

Nancy nods, “Yea, just give me a sec!” she turns to Kaylee and May going over house rules, babysitting instructions, what to do in case Kaylee set the stove on fire (again) and making sure to give May two big hugs and a goodbye kiss.

“If anything happens call me!” Nancy tells them.

“We got it, don’t burn the house down! Now go on your date!” Kaylee says slowly kicking Nancy out. They say their goodbyes and leave.

“Don’t burn the house down…?” Chris asks.

“Kaylee and our stove don’t get along.” Nancy explains.

“Ah, well she seems responsible. I’m sure nothing will happen.” Chris assures her. She smiles at him and nods.

“So, um where are we going?” she asks him.

“Its this place called Scenic Cinema. They play movies outdoors on this huge projector and its really nice for a picnic or a date.” He tells her.

“Ooh cool beans!”

“Mhmm, You’re not allergic to anything right?”

“Nope, I will eat almost anything, except bananas I hate bananas.”

“What?! What did bananas ever do to you?”

“They taste terrible! And the shape? I mean come on you can’t take anyone seriously eating a banana.”

“You just have a dirty mind.”

“Maybe, but I still hate bananas.”

“Well, you’ll be happy to know that there are no bananas in this picnic basket.” He informs her. She giggles, “Good or I would’ve gotten out of the car.”

They drove to the outdoor theater and parked. It was a wonderful, sunny day perfect for picnic and a movie. They found a perfect spot near a tree and enjoyed the show…

“That ending was terrible! Why would they kill her?” Nancy exclaims.

“Because they had to, she was the accomplice!” Chris argues.

“No, they could’ve kept her for information, now they have nothing and have to find the thief on their own with some stupid evidence.” She retorts. They had just finished the movie and there were some mixed review about it. She hated it, he liked it, and discussion ensued.

“Well yea but the letters had some clues they could use.”

“And the woman who was his accomplice for five years didn’t?” she retorts.

“Okay, you got me there.” He agrees. They were walking around the town center that was surrounded by little shops, and restaurants and bakeries making it feel cozy and cute and perfect for an after movie walk and talk. “So, what do you do?” he asks.

“Oh! I’m an editor for the LA Times.” She tells him.

“Wow, that’s really cool! Is there a section in particular you run?”

“The Op-Ed section. Its pretty neat, kind of tiring at times.” She says.

“How so?” he asks.

“Well a lot of our pieces need to be proofread a bunch of times and sometimes people email us asking why we didn’t put their piece in the paper and guess who gets to deal with that.” She says pointing at herself.

“Ouch, yea that must suck.” He says.

“Yea but I love it, everyone has a story or something to say and I think we should hear it." She says. He smiles, "That's a nice way of looking at the world."

She blushes, god she hadn't felt like this in a long time. What was that feeling called? The feeling of blushing for all the good reasons, the feeling of good butterflies; was there a term for that feeling? Because she was certainly feeling it right now.

They kept walking and talking. It got cooler and eventually he gave her his jacket like a true gentleman.

"Ooh, a bookstore! I haven't seen this here it must be new!" She says excitedly. Nancy calm down, don't let your nerd show.

"Wanna go in?" He asks. She looks at him and grins and runs in a little too fast. He smiles and follows behind her, happy to be along for the ride.

It had been 20 minutes since Chris saw Nancy and he was hoping she didn’t run off. He thought the date was going well, great even.

“Nancy?” he called out wandering the aisles of the bookstore.

“Yea?” a voice calls out. He runs in the direction of the voice and finds her behind a stack of books. She peeks out from behind the stack, “Ready to go?”

“Are you buying all those?” he asks.

“Yea of course, you’re only getting two books?” she asks him.

        “Um, yes?”

        “Okay,” she says and walks over to the cashier to purchase her books. “They’re not all for me, some are for May and one is for Kaylee.”

        “I wish I could read as many books as that.” He says.

        “Well trust me I wasn’t always like this.”

        “What changed?” he asks her. She was quiet for a moment then said, “When I was, thirteen my dad died.”

        “I’m so sorry,” he says.

        “Its okay, books were kind of my escape from reality. It really helped with the grief and depression and stuff.” She explains.

        “Wow,” he says.

        “Not exactly first date material.”

        “No no it’s okay, it’s great.” Awkward. “Um, will you recommend some books for me?” he asks. She looks at him and a huge grin breaks out on her face. She takes his hand and they go down the aisles of the bookstore looking for all the books she loved as a thirteen year old and beyond. By the end of the hour he had a stack as big as hers. They walked back to the car with two big bags of books and holding hands.

        “This was really nice. I had a lot of fun.” She says. They were at her doorstep now enjoying the last few minutes of the perfect night.

        “I’m glad you had fun because I had fun too.” He replies.

She smiles, “You know the only way you’re going to get this jacket back is if you take me on another date.”

        He laughs hard, “Okay, I’ll do you one better.”

        “And what would that be Mr. Evans?”

        He comes closer, “Its Chris,”

        “Oh sorry what would that be Chris?” she asks coming closer till they were a breath apart.

        He smirks and whispers, “I’ll give you a second date and a kiss.”

        She giggles, “What was stopping you from kissing me before?” He smiles, cups her cheek, and they both lean in and kiss. It was soft, slow and sweet. His hand travelled up her back sending a shiver down her spine. He smiles against her lips and pulls her closer, her hands wrap around his neck. It was perfect. A perfect end to a perfect date with the perfect guy.
