That’s it. That’s the post. Pack it up everybody, we just cracked the case and cleared up one of the most compelling fights in the PJO fandom since forever. Good job everybody, clap it out and there’s the door! Don’t forget ordering the drinks at Starbucks, Mitch! They’re on me!

Okay, but on a more serious note: YES. YES EXACTLY.

And before some of you roll your eyes or grab your pitchforks – put your biases aside and hear me out for once. I like Annabeth. She’s my in my top three characters only second to Percy himself. I love Percabeth. It’s my favorite ship in the entire series and to be frank, the only ship that I care about PJO wise. Hell, I spend my time creating my own headcanons or writing my own fanfics with Percabeth being the star in them.

But that is not to say that I’m unable to see how certain things have developed over the years or where they stand now in regard to Annabeth. I’m not here to ignore things that have been said and/or done due to or in the name of Annabeth and I’m not here to vilify anyone that doesn’t like her. And I’m here to admit that I’m guilty of some of the things that may be addressed in this meta essay that you will read in just a second. However, I try my best to assure you, that I’m for once able to recognize my own bias.

Warning: a monster essay lies right upon you.

This should count as a paper of its own.

Back to the statement on top: I would go out even further to reframe your claim, anon:

Annabeth Chase is a good character but not a nice or pleasant person.

Annabeth is a wonderful character but she isn’t a nice one. Or at least not nice to everyone. She is (construction wise if I dare say) the best character out of the series. She has her positive traits (she’s caring, she’s emotional, she’s encouraged and volunteers, she fights for what she believes in, she forgives (even if doing so begrudgingly)) but she also has her negative traits (she’s stubborn, she’s brash, changing her mind takes forever, she is prejudiced, she baits others). That balances things out. She is branded as the intelligent kid but does irrational things (like I’ve just said a) she’s a kid and b) she’s not a robot). She should probably know better, but we all make mistakes and hopefully grow and learn from them. The clouds in the sky do blur and cover our visions sometimes.

Annabeth had clashes with other characters or was about to have fights due to her stubbornness or jealousy (Rachel, Reyna, etc.) and has of course her problems with the mortal world and her family but she also found new friends, some things cleared up throughout the narration and she was/is quite popular in Camp Half-Blood.

The thing is: she doesn’t have to be nice or pleasant (as a character). Or at least not all the time. Her character is humanized. That is what or who she is. Human. She does stand out as a character, not just because she’s the (future) love interest. She feels like someone you could meet in real life and either adore from the top to the bottom or declare as your biggest enemy. And that’s totally okay if you lean either way – liking or disliking her. Or even feeling indifferent about her. Also great!

To say that she has been the best character that Riordan has crafted is easy to say, because she has been sculpted after Riordan’s wife. He had a model he could rub some of real-life events or traits on. That’s not the problem. The problem truly doesn’t lie on Riordan’s side for the most part for once.

The problem is inherently on the fandom’s side. What the fandom does, how it acts and how it treats Annabeth as a character is the problem. The problems vary but it’s mostly the mischaracterization of Annabeth, starting fights and fan/ship wars, internalized misogyny (in some cases) and how some of the Annabeth stans lash out (ha, got firsthand experience in that field among many of my friends and mutuals!). There is a reason why many people are wary of people that have Annabeth or Percabeth related URLs.

The fact that we see Annabeth mostly through Percy’s lens and (until the Heroes of Olympus saga hits) we never really see her in chill everyday situations is essentially Riordan leaving the back door of the house open, ready for all of you asshats to rob his mansion in Boston. Because a frame on a character means that we don’t get to see the character in its entirety (unlike we do with Percy in PJO for the most part). That means a bunch of stuff is left open for interpretation which is the reason why Annabeth gets so many polarized headcanon and opinions tossed around. I think that is one of the true appeals of Annabeth. You can add on stuff and it necessarily doesn’t have to contradict itself.

We have people calling her abusive due to a (n admittedly stupid and unnecessary) judo flip and we have people that act like she’s never done anything wrong. People sorta use this excuse to form and shape Annabeth however they want and distort her characterization.

People in the fandom act like Annabeth is some weird prized possession. We perceive Annabeth mostly through the eyes of others (Percy, Apollo, etc.) and when we had some sort of insight in her ways (MOA, HOH) it felt… weird? Somewhat? Like Riordan left two bullet points of her characterization and told the ghostwriter: aight, fuck it up, gringo, see you on Tuesday and greet Fred the next time you see him for me.

There have been many posts lately (by Tharini, Simi, Sawasawako, Jewishpercy and Annie I believe?) that HOO Percabeth felt weird. That they felt weirdly constructed, that there was no conflict, no growth. It felt stagnating, like we’re turning back. We had five books prior where we had Annabeth and Percy slowly shifting from disliking to liking and crushing each other. True development. And when we finally got the cake it felt… dissatisfying. Like the cheap box stuff and not the delicious exquisite taste that we were promised.

I said it previously in my Percabeth ship roast, but let me repeat myself: many Percabeth related things are straight up fanon. Some of it is very old fanon so that’s been unable to distinguish unless you’ve read the books recently and subtract nearly 99,9% of things you see on Tumblr (and occasionally the other shitty parts of the fandom like Reddit, IG, Twitter. Although they mostly steal and recycle tumblr stuff oh well. But back to the topic).

The way people treat Annabeth is so strange. She’s either an innocent fluffy smush baby that’s never harmed a fly and all that she wants for Christmas is being Percy’s lapdog or she’s the devil incarnate, broke into your house, killed your parents Batman style, kicked your puppy and didn’t flush the toilet on the way out. I think this is what mostly makes people hate her or the ship Percabeth. And both extremes are wrong and right at the same time? She is multifaceted so both stereotypes are true and untrue and sorta cancel each other out in the same way.

The true reason why people dislike Annabeth is because the stans are doing the most. (The haters as well, don’t get me wrong, but oh boy. Piss of a stan and you’ll know what I mean). That isn’t inherently new. Are you guys old enough to remember the ship wars that have happened cross platform? Perachel vs. Percabeth? Oh boy, oh boy. I saw some kids on tumblr a few months ago trying to infiltrate both tags and start shit (and also fail). The fact that Rachel still gets used as the bitchy (ex) girlfriend in fanfics? It’s 2020 guys. I know this apocalyptic year is far from perfect and over but I think we can let this trope die, right? Right? I thought we’ve established that Rachel is a pretty chill charcter by now… right?

If you posted your stuff on FFN back in 2010-2013 and it wasn’t the typical cutesy Percabeth story (Goode High, the gods read TLT, punk/prep Percabeth, college AU, etc.) people would’ve come for your fucking throat. Not because the story or the narration was shit. But because the pairing wasn’t Annabeth and Percy (in the sense that Annabeth had to be paired with Percy. I mean Percy gets shipped with everyone and their mother but for Annabeth it was strictly Percy. As annoying as this whole Connabeth thing is – the people behind it actually had a point. She never had a different love interest unless it’s a Percy centered story and he goes off dating Athena, Artemis and Zoe at the same time for some odd reason. Yeah, FFN Percy ships are something). Or it wasn’t the action filled canon compliant story or it wasn’t an AU that was popular.

People were really stubborn, snobbish and wanted their stuff in the four five boxes that were the most popular ones and that’s it. People have been bullied off the site in many fandoms, so it’s not a PJO-only thing but it’s still sad that it happened. (Off-note: most of these FFN tropes are still alive and well and thriving on AO3. Don’t be so snobbish and pretend that every piece you’d find there is a holy grail. There’s a lot of trash you have to waddle through. Same with Wattpad, Tumblr or anywhere else where fanfics get posted. Also had this discussion with Annabeth stans. Sigh).

And Tumblr back then? Forget it, wasn’t much better.

That view has sorta changed (at least for people that have been in the fandom for several years or have managed to find a way to navigate through it) but some of the negative sentiment from back in the day has survived. Be it by new fans coming in or from old fans that never let their stance die. The aggression feels differently and somewhat not. (I don’t know if the anon function had been abused that much back in the day. I was an observer not a participant in the fandom).

Crack a joke at Annabeth’s expense (Kal’s famous “Annabeth is a Republican” post or Dee Dee’s and many others “Annabeth has the education of a second grader, chill with the college plans, girlie” stance) and you have people insulting you, making callout posts, unfollowing and blocking you (based on only that? Okay, honey), making aggressive counter-posts, etc. in a minute. If you respond with “It’s a joke, it’s not real” you have a 50/50 chance of either getting blown off or embarrassing them so that they apologize for once.

This isn’t just about jokes. You can make a headcanon that’s not the cozy cute convenient mainstream saga and people would react the same way. Or art piece (no, not including the whole Tannabeth Blackchase shtick done by Viria and others) or fanfics.

People project so much onto the unfinished canvas that is Annabeth Chase that any form of negative sentiment as little as someone not liking her to straight up criticism, regardless of how tiny it may be, seems like an affront. Like an invitation to a fight. Like an insult to them, their character, everything they believe in. Let me state something:

You are NOT Annabeth Chase. Annabeth Chase IS NOT you. Annabeth Chase is NOT real. Her feeling cannot be hurt. Someone criticizing, disliking, joking about her or even insulting her will not bother her. Someone making a statement about her is not an insult to YOU.

Let me repeat that:

Annabeth Chase isn’t real. Annabeth Chase isn’t you.

So think a little before you act? I get it when you’re a kid and new to fandoms or haven’t been up with fan cultures in the past and are back in the scene. But if you’re in your late teens or even older as an adult and you’re unable to understand that you aren’t what you like – you aren’t the extension of a fictional character – I feel incredibly sorry for you. Because that’s just incredibly sad. Someone disliking something you like isn’t an attack of your character. It shows you that you are you and the other person is a human just like you. That they just have different taste. Disliking something you like isn’t a crime, you know? But me feeling sorry for the way some of y’all act won’t mean that that’s even remotely okay. Especially if you’re no longer in the intended audience for PJO age wise and should know better.

This isn’t a “white stans” only thing. I’ve seen and witnessed firsthand how people of color, mainly women of color, act the same or not even worse when it comes to her character. People have projected their problems and real-life occurring events into her character (I’m sure that she isn’t the only character nor that this is the only fandom where this is happening) and in some cases like I’ve said cannot separate their own personality from the fictional world. Fights with woc happened because of Annabeth fucking Chase. So many things have happened in the fandom the past few months, mostly due to people being forced staying at home because of the quarantine but I’d say it’s 10% on quarantine and 90% on people for acting up like this.

So here’s a little story: There was the act of Riordan blowing the fandom up because of his own stupidity and being unable to apologize for his mischaracterization and lack of research (the whole Piper fiasco) back in June (?) and admits the upset fandom, people on Twitter, Tumblr and Discord legit thought that none of that mattered and that the outcry was destroying Annabeth Chase’s birthday. That’s right. People thought that Annabeth Chase’s non-existing birthday because she’s a fictional character had a higher priority than the rupture and prevalent racism in the fandom. Okay. This isn’t a great look, Annabeth stans. And this of course pissed a lot of people off. I made a post about it and someone not only berated three other people on said post but no, we had a mighty argument which had disrupted many friendships in our circle which haven’t recovered until this very day. We both had our parts in it and no one is innocent. But the cause of this still remains Annabeth Chase or how people prioritize her non-existing well-being. Anyway. I’m getting agitated just thinking about it.

Let’s go back to the characterization thing with Annabeth. Let me remind you:

Annabeth Chase is an asshole. There I’ve said it in a post ages ago (too lazy to look it up, sorry) and I’ll say it again. And that’s not me insulting her. That’s me actually loving that about her. Annabeth is one of the very few unapologetic female characters that really showed all young readers across the world that you can be a girl, a badass, smart, strong, standing up for yourself and what you believe in. You don’t have to be nice. You don’t have to hide your feelings. You don’t need a man in all cases but it’s also okay to accept help and defeat.

A large reason why I think she’s an incredibly important character in children’s literature/YA because many other novels (mostly (sadly)) have the “Oh, I’m a white skinny dark-haired girl that likes unconventional things like READING. I’m not like the other girls, that take care of themselves and pamper themselves by enjoying shopping and wearing make-up. No, I’d rather be one of the boys but a sweet cute little boy and not the jock fuck that drank vodka shots out of a filthy shoe once. Despite me calling myself hideous every man in a 10-kilometer radius falls in love with me and tells me I’m oh so sexy and by the way I’m only 16 years old” shit going on for no goddamn reason.

Yes, I do blame Twilight for this mostly in recent years, but this trope isn’t by any means knew. Pretty sure that you could even use classics as Pride and Prejudice and dissect them in the same manner (Bold statement: Lizzy Bennet is the OG Bella Swan. There. Go fight somewhere in the corner, people). The new wave of YA focuses on girls belittling themselves and only starting to believe in themselves because someone else (mostly the male love interest) tells them they’re worth it. And these books hit the mainstream because they’re incredibly bland and picture perfect white.

With Annabeth it’s different. She shows up for the job and is done with it. (Brie Larson would probably be the perfect in real life version of her. You either like or dislike her. Or you really don’t care). That is what is so refreshing about her. Her unapologetic nature. Can it be off-putting? Yes. Is it annoying? Yes! Hell, every time I read The Lightning Thief, I want to rip her goddamn head off. And it’s just so well written. Her shift from mistrusting Percy but secretly still believing in him to her opening up. Wow, Riordan did something right there.

Annabeth Chase isn’t a young character. She has existed along with PJO for 15 years. She’s on her way to the second decade. I’m pretty sure that with the success of Percy Jackson (and Harry Potter) many lives have been warped and shaped.

But when I say the problem lies mostly in the fandom, it doesn’t mean that Riordan’s completely innocent. The only problem that I have with Annabeth lies not truly with her but the fact that Riordan is only able to produce three variations of female characters:

The sweetheart (Hazel, Silena, Calypso, Hestia)

The strong feminist (Annabeth, Piper, Thalia, Reyna, Artemis)

The bitch (Drew, nearly every female goddess in the goddamn Riordanverse next to every female monster)

And these female characters only know three endings:

End up married with a mortgage, three kids, two dogs and a cat somewhere in Connecticut by the age of twelve

Get dumped into the hunt

Chill on Mount Olympus and only come down to be a nuisance and/or give a cryptic message before going back and doing a godly rave party or something

We know Annabeth as the badass strong female first (or the bitchy character we’re supposed to actually like. Choose your approach), the blueprint so to speak, so some of the other characters feel almost pale in comparison and almost not needed? Doesn’t mean that other characters can’t behave similarly, but it feels kind of redundant especially if their character arcs end in a rather anticlimactic way (Thalia, Reyna). The new additions are the much needed woc as the main story with PJO was inherently white (anyway stan black!Percy and Grover, folks). So it’s not to bash on the new characters, it’s more Riordan’s fault more than anything.

Since Riordan only knows three female character arcs it feels like he tried to copy the formula several ways with different nuances. Some more or less successful. This is where fandom actually comes in handy and helps create more distinguished and fleshed out characters in form of headcanons or fanfiction.

But even in these cases people still make it about Annabeth when it’s time for characters of colors to shine. Remember that whole spiel and discussion that broke out when people (Kal, diver-up, Caitlyn, Bee, reynaisalesbian, etc.) joked about or criticized that Annabeth thinks that she’s having it harder because she’s a blonde? In front of Hazel and Piper? If she would’ve been a real person that’s an invitation for getting decked. And then all hell broke loose because Annabeth stans couldn’t accept the fact that in the real world and/or in fictional worlds the woc/coc have it harder? That the white woman wasn’t the victim that needed the coddling? Yeah, that was mad pathetic.

I hope you people get my point?

Well fuck. I wrote so many things and have the feeling I’ve said nothing. Anyway, I hope I made sense. This is way too long.

TLDR: Chill about Annabeth please. She’s an important character but that doesn’t mean that everyone has to like her, regardless of being a character in the books or a reader/fan of PJO in real life. She isn’t nice or a sweetheart all the time. She also isn’t the monstrous asshole that some try to make out of her.

9:11 p.m. at the Beachside of Isle Defino.......

Lavenza: (Watching the Night Sky While Sitting Next to Morgana on a Bench) Doesn't the stars look fascinating at this time of hour, Mona-Chan?

Morgana: (Smiles Softly While Looking Up at the Sky as Well) Yeah. It does. It's been a while since I've went outside in the nighttime. So I kinda never paid attention to the stars that much. Ooh! Look! (Points at Something at the Beach's Ocean) You see the ocean showing the moon's reflection!

Lavenza: ('GASPS') You're right!~ It's so bright and mesmerizing to the eyes~ (Turns to Morgana With a Bright Smile on Her Face) Thank you so much for showing me this, Mona-Chan~ This is wonderful.

Morgana: (Chuckles Lightly at How Cute the Velvet Girl is Being) It's no problem at all, Lavenza. Really. But um...('Clears Throat') how are you liking the vacation here so far?

Lavenza: I'm enjoying it quite fondly. (Frowns a Little) It's a shame that it will all come to an end tommorow.

Morgana: Yeah. But at least we'll always have memories we made here along the way.

Morgana: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock Before Closing Them and Sighing Heavily) Rest easy, my friend. Without warning, Morgana gets pelted by multi water balloons by none other than Futuba and Omega.

Morgana: (Gets Back Up From the Ground While Glaring at the Duo) Really!? Did you really have to do all of that to me!? Y-You didn't even THINK about giving me a chance to attack or anything!!?

Futuba: (Smiles Brightly and Mischievously) Nope! Bye!~

Omega: (Fleet Away While Futuba's Riding on his Back) So long, tiny, dramatic feline!

Futuba: (Giggles Softly From a Near Distance) Dramatic Feline~

Morgana: (Starts Growling at the Duo in Annoyance)

Morgana: (Sighs While Pinching his Nose) I swear... Futuba can be a real brat sometimes....

Lavenza: Well, to be fair, you were monologuing long enough for her and Omega-Kun to hit you. And we have gotten ice cream afterwards. So it wasn't all dreadful.

Morgana: ('Sigh') Yeah. It wasn't....The ice cream was delicious....

Lavenza: (Nodded in Agreement) It most certainly was. (Smiles Softly While Blushing a Little) Still, it was very sweet of you to try and avenge me. Even if it was short-lived....

Morgana: (Starts Blushing as Well) Yeah. I-It's no problem....(Smiles a bit Bashfully) I'm...sure you would've done the same for me if I were in that sane situation.

Lavenza: Oh absolutely. I would obliterate anyone who dares try to cause you any harm.

Morgana: I-I don't think the 'Obliterating' part is necessary, but....thanks.

'Sound of Small Waves'

Lavenza: Morgana.

Morgana: (Turns to Lavenza) Yeah?

Lavenza: I'm not sure if I've already told you this yet, but.....(Gives Morgana a Sincere Smile) I would like to thank you very much for being my friend. Your kindness and companionship has always manged to brighten my day. And I am truly grateful for that.

Morgana: (Stares at Lavenza For a Brief Second Before Smiling Softly Himself) You're welcome, Lavenza. (Starts Rubbing the Back of his Head Back & Forth) Heck, If anything...I should be thanking you for being mines to begin with. But regardless....(Smiles Brightly at the Velvet Girl) I'm glad I met someone as amazing as you.

Lavenza: (Heart Begins to Melt in Pure Happiness as She Pulls Him into a Loving Hug) Oh Mona-Chan~ You're amazing too~ And a sweetheart at best~

Morgana: (Starts Giggling While Blushing Some More) W-Well....I-I mean, I-

Morgana: (Eyes Widened by the Sudden Sound) Wait. What was that?

Lavenza: Oh my... (Giggles Softly as She Sees Four Very Familiar Face Coming Out Of Their Hiding Spots) It seems we've gotten ourselves some company.

Morgana: (Starts Groans Once He Recognizes that Feminine Voice) I noticed....(Turns Around and Sees Futuba, Haru, Sae, and Omega Smirking Playfully at Him and Lavenza) WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING HERE!?

Futuba: (Playfully Shrugs) Oh no reason!~

Sae: We just wanted to make sure you two are having a wonderful night together~

Haru: (Smiles Brightly at the Young Duo) It warms our hearts that you care so much for one another~

Omega: While I am not interested in anything romantic related....(Gives Morgana and Lavenza a Thumbs Up With a Smile on his Face) I do, however, ship the two of you together as well.

Futuba: See? (Place her Arm Around Omega's Shoulder) Even the big guy gets it.

Morgana: (Sighs Heavily While Facepalming Himself a) Why are you people like this?....

Haru: Because we love you with all our hearts.

Futuba: Plus, you're stuck with us forever. Sooooooo-

Morgana: Yeah. Yeah. I know.....I love you guys too.

Lavenza: (Turns to Morgana) You know, you've never gotten the chance to tell me what "Shipping" means.

Morgana: Yeah. I uh....(Chuckles a bit Awkwardly) Keep forgetting to do that really.....

Futuba: I can tell you what it means!~

Morgana: (Immediately Glares at Futuba) Not a chance, Sakura!! I can tell her about that on my own time thank you very much!

Futuba: (Smirk Grew a Bit Wider) You sure you're capable of doing that, kitty-bro?~ Cause it kinda seems like you're stalling to me.

Morgana: Betcha you're wrong.

Futuba: Betcha I'm right.

Morgana: WELL, EXCUSE ME FOR WANTING TO STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!!

Sae: Children. Children! As much as I would love hear more if this pointless banter from one another, I believe it's time for all of us go back inside now.

Haru: Sae's right. It's already getting dark enough as it is.

Futuba: (Nodded) Right. (Turns to Morgana and Lavenza) You kiddos ready to head in now?

Morgana: ('Sigh') Yeah. We're ready. (Turns to Lavenza) Unless you wanna stay here a little longer or.....

Lavenza: Oh I'm quite already, Mona-Chan. (Smiles Brightly) I'm already having a great time tonight thanks your company~

Morgana: (Smiles Back) I'm glad you're having a good time.

And with that, the group finally make their way back to the house. Awaiting their departing of Isle Defino tomorrow.

He was revived within the rubble, with no idea where he was or why he was there. The city was calm, minus the buildings smoking a bit. Nobody was there except for himself.

What were they wearing when they were reborn: A thick winter jacket with fur lining and the hood up, thick pants with the same fur, tall cowboy boots, a pick and rope, goggles.

What was their reaction to being reborn: Confusion, calm, and a swarm of questions.

Did your Guardian get reborn with, or find, any indication of their past life? If so what do they have/found: Anthem found many indicators of his past life within the rubble of the Europa colony. He found a broken datapad in his hands when he was revived, and carried it, then fixed it up to read what data was inside. It was mostly his past self documenting how he’d become an Exo to escape being stuck in a woman’s body named Marie. Anthem didn’t want to live as her anymore, so he’d killed her off to be reborn as Anthem-1 instead. The entries didn’t contain much beyond that basic information.

How did your Guardian get their name(if they didn’t rez with past life momentos): N/A

Going back to your Guardian’s lore book, what would be some some quotes or passages from their book: “Drifter once told me that everyone’s got a bullet with their name on it somewhere in the universe. Your sis tries comin’ now? Well... a bullet ain’t gotta hit its target to do its job.” “When yer too old t’hold the torch, pass it on. Someone else can--should take it instead.”

Does your Guardian have a significant other: Mithrax. They’re dating and deeply in love.

Did your Guardian go explore first before going to The Last City? If so, where to: Drifter took Anthem away from The Last City at first when he found the man on the fallen city of Europa, fearing cities would trigger the man, so the Hunter spent some weeks exploring the mountains and various parts of nature on Earth which were relatively harmless, just to show him there isn't much to fear. Drifter would never show it, but he pitied the man.

What was their reaction to first seeing The Last City: Awe and wonder. It wasn't like the fallen one on Europa, but rather filled with life. It was astounding, and assuring, showing Anthem that himself and Drifter weren't the only people in the universe. There are so many more than just them. Even Exos! He isn't alone, and never will be.

He spends a lot of time gambling on the Tangled Shore during his free time, and is well-known by Spider, whether for better or worse. Anthem appreciates the Eliksni, and they get along mutually.

Does your Guardian have any unconventional allies or connections(By Vanguard standards): The Spider's forces. Anthem was sort of drawn in against his will for his poker face and gambling skills, but the alliance between himself and the Shore's kingpin is mutually beneficial for both of them.

How does your Guardian feel about themselves or others using Stasis: Anthem believes Stasis can be useful if the person themselves is trustworthy with it. He's aware some Guardians would certainly abuse it, and thus, Stasis must be trained with and used cautiously. But as for himself, Anthem would prefer to only use it in a pinch.

Did they run The Last Wish raid? How did they react to seeing a live Ahamkara a.k.a Riven: N/A

Is your Guardian from D1? How did they react to seeing Taniks alive once again: Anthem isn't from D1, but he's annoyed to see Taniks alive AGAIN. He's not sure what to do about this guy. He's more immortal than the Exo himself. There's no escaping Tankis, and the best bet is to run until he catches up with Anthem again.

Where did they go and what did they do during The Red War: Anthem fought as best he could, but mostly provided assistance to Magnus, the hero, however possible. Anthem also helped evacuate citizens and Guardians to safety, acted as a lookout for Cabal who were on Ghaul's side, and relayed information day and night.

Osiris, First Warlock Vanguard, originally exiled: Anthem thinks Osiris is arrogant and needs to step down from his podium. He slowly is doing this, however, and Anthem is glad to see that change.

Eris Morn, Bane of the Swarm: Anthem pities her, but will never show that. He knows Eris doesn't need nor want pity. She's strong, independent, and capable. He admires her persistence, and is inspired to continue himself by this.

Cayde-6, Sixth Hunter Vanguard: Anthem sees Cayde as a child who needs rearing sometimes. He trusts Cayde to grow on his own, won't interfere unless that's absolutely necessary, but he still tries to make sure Cayde just doesn't ruin his life for something stupid. Anthem cares about him deeply.

Ikora Rey, Second Warlock Vanguard: She's a cherished friend to Anthem, someone he trusts wholeheartedly and can confide in, so he does. She responds the same way to him.

Commander Zavala, Second Titan Vanguard: An authority figure, but not HIS authority figure. Anthem is above the law. This man doesn't control him. But nonetheless, Anthem does what he can to assure he remains in Zavala's good graces.

Saint-14, legendary Titan, First Titan Vanguard: Anthem respects him deeply, admires him, aspires to be even a fraction as amazing as Saint. He hasn't told Saint this, but with how he acts around the Titan, it's quite obvious.

Lord Saladin, Iron Banner handler, One of the last remaining Iron Lords: Anthem will participate in his games, but he doesn't trust Saladin. Not at all.

Lord Shaxx, Crucible handler, Hero of Twilight Gap, living megaphone: An admirable man who Anthem also looks up to. Anthem wants to be as self-confident as Shaxx.

The Crow, New Light, Ex-Enforcer to The Spider: Anthem's son, his everything, his precious boy. Anthem rescued Crow from The Last City streets, and began raising him as a Hunter. He views the young Guardian as his son, and himself as his father. Crow sees the same relationship, and both care deeply beyond measure about one another.

The Spider, The Shore’s Only Law, founder of “House” Spider: An ally to Anthem, though reluctantly. Both know not to cross one another, and both fear what'll happen if one does this. But they are on mutual terms. Thus, there isn't much to fear except a deal gone wrong by either man.

Uldren Sov, Prince of the Reef, Master of Crows: A cursed and corrupted man who had the Darkness presiding over him. Anthem didn't trust Uldren, he wouldn't, but he wanted to save him so bad. He's happy the Light did instead where he couldn't.

Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef, Queen of the Awoken, Ex-Kell of Wolves: Fuck no. She is the reason Uldren was corrupted and wound up in the Prison of Elders. Mara screwed over her people for her own selfish reasons, and Anthem has absolutely no respect for her whatsoever. Never will.

Variks, the Loyal, founder of House Judgement: Another ancient man who has gone through too much. Anthem sees him as a wise leader, and seeks to learn from Variks.

Mithrax, the Forsaken, Kell of Light, founder of House Light: Boyfriend, lover, everything amazing. Crow brought Anthem and Mithrax together over their love for him. Mithrax is the world to Anthem.

The Exo Stranger/Elizabeth “Elsie” Bray, Granddaughter of Clovis I and Sister to Ana Bray: A trusted ally, and someone Anthem can and does put his trust in wholeheartedly. He believes her cause is just, and will help her with it.

Eramis, of House Salvation, Kell of Darkness: She can stay a frozen husk and shatter for all he cares.

Empress Caiatl of the Cabal Imperial Empire: Can be trusted, but Anthem is still a little wary of her to be honest.

Taniks the Scarred, the Perfected, the Abomination, the Shadow Thief: Kill! Him! Get! Him! Away!!!!

The Darkness is fast approaching. How is your Guardian handling it: Anthem is bracing himself mentally for it. He's not sure how it'll affect him, but if his duty is to protect humankind, he'll face the Darkness head on regardless, for everyone else's sake.

Probably Royai. FullMetal Alchemist was my first anime I watched on TV and I immediately fell in love with relationships between Riza and Roy. I used to fantasize about them all the time. I still do love them.

Definitely EnjiRei. I think about them and their family all the time. That's just what I do when I ship - I maladaptive daydream. What I like about them is ice and fire aesthetics is how fucked up everything is but Rei still somehow can forgive him or at least try to? He somehow remember her favourite things? I want to know more about them. Like, how exactly Enji found her? What happened to Touya?

Tropes, tropes... I like what is called "unsexy erotica" by some author on ao3. Like, when characters are processing their feelings and it's the end it's not really sexy though it still somehow amazes me. It's not really a trope though, I saw only one fanfic with that.

I love redemption arcs made well, bad people turning good and having the love no one ever gave them before (duh)

Definitely soulmates au, it makes me cringe somehow. Or is it not a trope? Whatever

I often ship canon ships. Also for whatever reason I enjoy different-sex couples more often. Also if I see a person with fire powers I'll connect the dots them with someone with water/ice, it's just math... Jk... Unless

Actually, they are mostly pure. But also I ship EnjiRei and someone gonna send me anon hate for this, ehhh

Objectively it will be the main character of any series cause they have the most interactions. For me personally it's Enji cause I love him right now and I like to explore his relationship with everyone, like, I can occasionally ship him with Hawks, All Might, Burnin', Rei and some OCs

The ones I am not in, duh. Actually, I am not really active shipper... In one punch man I don't ship anyone? But it's not like I am really in fandom khkhkh

Yeah, if it's not ship with OC (obviously). There can be exceptions like hetalia cause characters are basically countries

Also I probably started to ship huwumi because of fanbase. I just never thought of the ship. But the most important deed is that fanbase brought me Dabi is Touya theory. Define "ship war"? I sometimes enjoy observing people arguing but mostly I am annoyed when someone shit on character or ship. So sometimes I guess I can write something like "bitch can you stop" but usually I try to stay out of it. I guess I am pro-shiping and anti anti most of the time

Ereri, Dekumight, RoyEd... Do you see the pattern? I highly dislike mentor x student ships. Also incest ships are no-no even if everyone is an adult for a simple reason - I actually have brothers and this shit creeps me out

It depends. I mostly don't like smut just for smut but if there's some feelings and processing of them, ya know... Have fun yourself and don't ruin it for others. You are free to block anyone and anything, it doesn't make you a bad person. And also try to think critically about views shared on social networks, like, not everything in true.

I'll also add here about media affecting reality: aS A fuTuRE PSyChoLoGisT I can say that YES, THEY DO AFFECT EACH OTHER. But often Internet can't get all the nuances and ends up censoring everything. In university we had an assignment where we analyzed modern media. And TV news collected around 30 media risks meaning that materials can affect (usually child's) brain in negative way. What now, are we supposed to not show violence and war? "Destroy everything that can traumatize a child" is a bad solution because of many reasons. Kids are not supposed to read 18+ content, kids are not supposed to spend time on Internet without parental control, kids are not supposed to watch a lot of stuff without an adult's presence. But they do and it's not fault of people who create 18+ / "problematic" content.

My Very Spoilery Endgame Review - What I Liked, What Annoyed Me, and Two Questions I Am Left With

I was very satisfied and enjoyed it very much. The theater burst into applause in several instances and it was great to celebrate the end of an era with fellow fans.

Now for the spoilery critiques and praise.

My favorite moments were:

Thor reconciling his self-image and self-worth with his mother

“I’m still worthy.”

Loki escaping and (hopefully) living in at least one timeline - because if Steve went back to “trim the branches” then this means he returned the Tesseract to 1970. Which means the branch where Loki snagged the Tesseract and was not imprisoned on Asgard may have endured*.

Ken Jeong’s cameo.

Stan Lee’s cameo.

Banner coming to terms with who and what he is and living comfortably with the Hulk.

Basically everyone really leaning into the self-love and self-value by the end of the film.

“That is America’s Ass”.

“I could do this all day.” “Yeah, I know.”

“How can I? You’re taking all the stupid with you.”

“Ha! I knew it!”

“I am Iron Man.”

Scott finding Cassie alive.

Wong’s exasperated reply to Strange’s “Is that everyone?”

Nebula’s redemption. This is a princess (as Squidward calls Thanos “sire”) who saves her own damn self.

How the thing that gave the game away to Thanos was actually really clever and well executed; this wasn’t a “heroes are just stupid this one time” (like how Quill screwed the pooch in Infinity War when they had the damn glove). It was something that I genuinely hadn’t thought of, and I assume no one, not even Nebula, would have thought of. It worked. And it worked well.

All the ladies supporting Carol in the final battle - which was awesome but also felt a bit like the moment was added only so the Russos could check it off a “don’t piss off the feminists” list.

How the final battle set it up well for the next phase - I liked how the Glove Relay was from an OG Avenger (Hawkeye) to the new Avengers - Black Panther, Spider-man, and Captain Marvel.

“I love you 3000″.

Falcon!Cap - finally! Yay!

The sound of the armor that started it all being forged as the endcap of the credits.

However.

I wish Bucky and Steve had also had a meaningful moment at the end, like Steve and Sam, something that made it clear that even though Steve was older now, he was no less Bucky’s best pal.

I'm very, very annoyed that they Fridged Natasha. I mean, I get it. Someone had to die. And we all knew Hawkeye was going to go back to his family, so it wouldn’t be him. And I do love how they did the death, how Nat and Clint fought with one another to the be the one to make the sacrifice. And her death would have been especially cheap if Bruce had just Snapped her Back. I get it.

And if there wasn’t a long history of Fridging female character to ensure the male ones have enough Man-Pain to have a character arc and impetus to be a hero, then you know what? This would have been a really moving sacrifice. It would have really worked.

But there is. And in light of that, it’s left me... itchy. Uncomfortable. Because in the context of the film alone it was a great death. But in the context of the history of comic book narratives, it sucked.

Also, what does this mean for the Black Widow movie? Will it actually be a prequel? Will it be Budapest? And if it is Budapest, will they use the same actors, or cast new, younger ones?

I also don't understand the narrative reason why they had to make so many fat jokes around Thor.

I mean, yeah, it makes sense he was depressed and stopped taking care of his heath, and self-medicated with booze and food. This was a strong and meaningful narrative and I really liked that he was given the opportunity to mourn, to question his purpose, to become more than just muscles and a hammer in terms of character construction. That he could grieve and struggle, and be filled with crippling regret that kept him indoors and hiding, and filled self-loathing.

As a character choice it made sense. And I liked that he was still a powerful warrior while chubby, and that he didn’t magically become slim again when he suited up. It was wonderful to see him be no less powerful, dangerous, dedicated, and no less kick ass while sporting a keg instead of a sixpack.

But they leaned awfully hard on that “fat joke” button and by the time Rhodey said “Cheez Whiz?” I was over it. Its got tedious and frankly a bit insulting.

Teasing someone for suffering because he lost literally everyone he loved is not cool. The jokes fell flat, for good reason. They were cruel.

And when the Russos announced that they had included the MCU's first openly gay character I was hoping that it would be a main character, not some rando dude in a talk therapy meeting. I wanted Bucky and Sam to confess feelings, or Bucky to Steve even if Steve couldn’t return them, or Valkyrie to at least have a wife in New Asgard, or something.

But TBH it didn't surprise me that they made it some nameless dude in group support. Like J.K. Rowling, the Russos are happy to queerbait but too cowardly to commit, and they always have been. I’d be annoyed but it’s not worth the energy.

At least when the guy mentioned his boyfriend it was a “no big deal” mention, and nobody made a “are you cool with this, Cap?” thing to really point out that ooooo, this dude is queer.

But those are my only gripes. The rest of it was thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying.

Especially all the little call backs. The "I am Iron Man" and “I could do this all day” stuff - it felt like little gifts to the fandom.

However, I have two questions.

1) When people were Snapped Back, were they Snapped to their previous exact geographical location? Because if so, what about people who had been in transit? Did people who were Snapped Away while in a plane just... appear mid-sky and plummet to their deaths? Were people on spaceships Snapped Back into the void of cold space? We saw in Infinity War that helicopters crashed into city streets - the pilot, that means, was Snapped Away. When that pilot came back, where did he come back? Did Bruce think to Snap them all into safe places? (I mean, I assume the Stones accounted for Spacial Drift and the location of planets in orbit... maybe it accounted for people who would have Snapped Back into deadly situations?)

2) I do love that Steve and Peggy got their life together At that point Pegs would have been like... at least 10 years older than Steve? Maybe 15? What would her neighbors think of Sugar Momma Peggy Carter and her Very Much Younger (Looking) Husband?

Did she introduce him to anyone? Did they have neighborhood BBQs? At that point everyone would have known who Captain America/Steve Rogers was so did no one recognize him? What did they say? (Did we get Beardy Steve back???) They had kids, canonically, so was Steve able to attend their T-BAll games and school plays?

One assumes that Sugar Baby Steve would have been the House Husband, because Pegs was running Shield and Steve was out of the game. He’d never be able to show his face at SHIELD because Howard would recognize him, and so would Arnim Zola, so HYDRA would have known that Captain America survived and I imagine they would have given anything to get him into the Chair.

It makes me think that Sugar Baby House Husband Steve would have been very isolated and possibly lonely. Maybe he had a few neighbor friends, but can you image how torturous it must have been to live so privately? To know that Bucky was out there suffering and being tortured and brainwashed and that he couldn’t do anything about it? He couldn’t go save his best pal?

That Peggy could never bring him to the SHIELD Christmas party, to visit her new baby godson Anthony, never attend anything with him.

And it makes me think Steve had to vanish from her life right when his earlier self entered it so like... as soon as she started getting sick enough with Alzheimer's he had to leave.

Because that’s when younger Steve came into her life, and started visiting her in the nursing home.

But he had to abandon her when she needed him most, and that is very tragic. How did Steve reconcile that with himself? Especially with returning to a future where she was dead and his friends were alive and he didn’t need to be the Secret Sugar Baby House Husband any more?

All in all, it was very enjoyable and I will watch it again.

And I look forward to the FanFic.

* This means that Loki in that branch also likely did not participate in the battle against the Dark Elves. His character growth in that moment was likely delayed, but I believe he ultimately would have processed his extreme confusion, self-loathing, and hatred of his betrayal by his “family” Thor enough to join forces with him against the destruction of the universe when it mattered. Perhaps having the extra time to do so might have even served him better. I don’t know if this means Odin chose to die and Hela was released, thus triggering the destruction of Asgard. I don’t know what this would have meant for Ragnarock - possibly with Odin as the King when he died the defenses would have been better (though I argue the culture and peace of Asgard thrived under Loki, especially with his dismantling of the Empire and the valuing of the Arts) and they would have saved Asgard or at least not lost so many.

And if Asgard had not survived, perhaps in this version something different may have happened, and Loki wouldn’t on the survivor ship. Perhaps he was on a different ship. Perhaps he wasn’t present for the battle at all and in a completely different part of the universe.

If he was elsewhere this means

a) The Asgardian survivors would have lived because Thanos wouldn’t have targeted the ship, and Thor would have been less self-loathing.

b) When Thanos found Loki with the Tesseract in this branch, it’s likely Loki was able to ingratiate himself to Thanos and gave the Stone to him without Thor there to tip his hand toward an immediate betrayal murder attempt. I subscribe to the theory that Loki was just as mind-controlled during The Avengers and the Battle of New York as Barton (though I wouldn’t call Loki totally innocent in everything) and that he had been suffering from extreme mental health issues following his unsuccessful attempted suicide. In this case, he would be willing to play the long game to get his revenge on his abuser Thanos. Then, later, hopefully, he joins Thor’s side to save the universe against Thanos (as he did against the Dark Elves)- betraying Thanos and perhaps stopping the Snap before it happened in that timeline. Or if not stopping the Snap, perhaps being a part of the new Avengers if he survived it, or joining in the final battle if he was Snapped Away.

Anyway - I have lots of Loki Thoughts. Feel free to adopt any Plot Bunnies this may have generated in reading this.

Dear lord, I had to block a lot of people today.

Mostly just people saying that GO fans are annoying. One book fan saying that the TV show fans are the worst people alive (mind spitting your venom elsewhere?)

While I know people are entitled to their own opinions, I was a little shocked by the reminder that some people outside of this fandom can be a little emotionally draining (hating things that are "cringe", finding non problematic things problematic, thinking it's gross for people over thirty to be shipped, etc).

Anyway, I love my fellow GO fans (aside from the ones who think TV show fans are the worst). You guys have been very kind and fun to be around. And while I'm sure there are bad eggs out there (just mentioned a couple times that I found some), overall, this is the most peaceful fandom I've ever been a part of.

I'm not really sure what's so "annoying" about us anyway. Our overwhelming love for a wholesome ship? Our appreciation for a great story? The fact that we let "cringe" exist in peace (yes, I know I post cringe and I'm happy that no one here minds cause it's dumb to hate on cringe)? Is it just a "this is new and popular so I'll hate it" sort of thing?

If anyone has some fandom drama to share with me, I'm all ears. Cause I must have been doing a pretty good job avoiding it if it's such a problem. I wouldn't say that any fandom I've been a part of was overwhelmingly toxic while I participated in it, but let me tell you, some of them had a reputation or became horrid long after I left. The last fandom I was a part of, again, wasn't what I'd call insane levels of toxic, but it became unpleasant to participate in over time. I started finding that I was walking on eggshells once I got further into it, and there was definitely a lot of harassment over stupid things (shipping wars, for one). In fact, I was so relieved when I entered the GOs fandom and found that I didn't have to overthink every little thing I posted.

And then there are the infamously horrible fandoms which... yeah... If you know, you know.

If you think GO fans are annoying, I want your life because it seems pretty peaceful. I also want to know what fandoms and/or spaces you've been hanging out in cause they must be pretty delightful if GOs is bad in comparison.

I'm being sarcastic, obviously. They're probably spaces where people nitpick on things that don't matter. In other words, the types of people I avoid like the plague.

Just know that there are anti-antis in this fandom that support you and the others who know that shipping isn't morality. (but I like the fact that playing someone who participated in a GENOCIDE is 100% fine but if you say a character got older and likes someone older than them you're satan). I sure as hell hope none of these people ever had crushes on celebs or teachers or anything! Because they are just as bad!!

I feel I’ve found a good number of folks that I can safely call my buddies on here, and I do hope by now that if anyone following hasn’t gotten the message that I do not support people being sent death threats over crap as trivial as shipping two fictional characters, they should probably vacate my page.

But honestly, as a Kimbley RPer, I’m not about to even pretend I’m part of a Purity Brigade (not like I would ever want to be, yikes). If I were to condemn a “problematic” ship but say “aw kimbwey is so pwecious babby UWUWUWUWUWU,” I oughta be shot in the foot for being such a hypocrite. Kimbley is fucking vile and people should be allowed to ship whatever the fuck they want, so long as at the end of the day they can admit the problematic elements are not safe in a real life setting.

Tbh, like... I tried not getting involved in The Discourse throughout my time here on the tumblargh. But I’m just disappointed by the way that fandom has evolved, especially the f.ma fandom, and how it took such a drastic turn after b.rohood’s release. I’m sure that’s one of the reasons why I don’t think I’ll ever get any enjoyment whatsoever out of b.rohood, which is a damn shame, because I really wanted to like it.

But... I’m just tired. As I’ve stated before, I’ve been a part of this rodeo for well over a decade. Obviously other people have been part of other fandoms for far longer and are The True Veterans, but when it comes to f.ma, I was there when the manga first came out---I read the very first preview in S.hounen Jump, and then watched as it finally got an anime adaptation in 03 that everyone absolutely adored. It’s a show that has legitimately rescued people from horrible shit in their lives (me included!!), and changed so many people’s perspectives about life (me included---again!)---and it just fucking blows my mind that when b.rohood came around and---especially concerning the fans on this site---this fandom turned into an amalgam of anti-shippers and anon hate and vile cliques that vague about each other. It really carbon dates me when I say I miss the good times I had on the g.aiaonline forums where I could just write whatever the fuck I wanted (even though some of it was damn cringe-y), without having to worry about it being “pure”, and the only real troubles concerning the f.ma fandom I had were the annoying ship wars (true, they could get heated, but as far as I know, no one was ever told to kill themselves??).

And what’s sad?? Is that there are a lot of teens on this site that aren’t going to have the fun fandom experience that I had, because they’re so up to their necks in Discourse that they can’t have the space they need to explore their creativity. If I was a teenager in the fandom as it is now, I would be fucking miserable. I did a lot of coping writing dark fic or drawing squicky/triggering things because I was figuring out who I was---and kids don’t have room to do that now without being told they’re horrible people that should die in a fire.

Honestly, it’s exactly the kind of behavior that radical conservatives exhibit, yelling “think of the children!!” while burning books and treating kids like they’re too stupid to think for themselves. I’m grateful my parents allowed me space for creativity, because I have no doubt that if they hadn’t I would be A Mess.

So. I apologize immensely for the huge rant and so much ooc and Salt but this has been building up for a long time and it’s a damn shame so many antis spend so much time in a fandom just to be pissed off over fictional ships. Seriously, take a nap instead or drink some tea or something, maybe you’ll feel better.

The two-headed deer is classic but the glowing butterflies are pretty fun too. So many people have said Pauna but I just do not get that storyline it has never made sense in my mind I’m sorry

13. What would your job be on the Ark?

Something in medical. Do they have a pharmacist on the Ark or did Abby just deal with all of that too?

14. Would you have willingly pumped Ontari’s heart if Abby asked?

I would try my best, and I think if I knew I had to do it to save someone else I’d be able to, but blood in medical settings makes me super sick (hence why I’m going into pharmacy instead of becoming a doctor)

15. If L wasn’t Heda, then who would make the best Commander?

Ummm Anya? Lincoln? Maybe Indra from the later seasons? Idk I would need to finish my rewatch to get a better idea of what their leadership styles would be like before I could answer this

16. If you were a grounder, then where would you live and who would be your mentor?

I’ve never thought about this so I don’t really have a good answer, but I guess Trikru so Lincoln (ugh another death I’m sad about) could be my mentor? I don’t know enough about the different clans right now to really say anything else

17. How would you act if you ate the hallucinogenic nuts like Jasper and Monty?

The one time I’ve been super drunk I was very giggly and willing to answer questions I usually wouldn’t, so I’d probably go around telling everyone my biggest fears and secrets while laughing at a squirrel or something stupid

Probably Bellamy but we all see how that went (rip Wells ugh) so honestly not sure what the right call would have been here

Man I don’t have a good vision for tattoos or warpaint but I want it and I want it to be badass bc I’m too much of a wimp to get a tattoo irl. For hairstyle I’d probably just stick with a ponytail that maybe had like a braid or two in it, I can’t have my hair down for more than a few hours without getting annoyed by it so idk how any of the women in this show fight wars like that

Kind of like what I said earlier, everyone in this show has done something they’re not proud of that seemed like it was the best/only choice (ha) at the moment. While the acts they committed seem awful when isolated, I think we have to forgive them in the end (also these people have really fucked up lives, seriously, they’re gonna do some bad stuff every once in a while)

25. If the characters were in The Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning?

Octavia. I would say Clarke or Bellamy but when it came down to the final two people I don’t think either of them would be willing to kill the other participant

Least favorite would be Finn with Clarke or Raven bc they deserved better, favorite at the moment is probably Memori

I saw someone else who did this say they needed to bring back Home II by Dotan and I absolutely agree. Not too picky about cameos, it would be fun to see anyone in a random episode but if anyone does guest star it would be interesting to see them in a more... not important role, but a role that actually seemed relevant to the story line? Idk I haven’t rewatched that ep yet but from what I remember wasn’t Shawn just there to play the piano for like 30 seconds? This answer got away from me, I’m moving on

Drinking games? Some other kind of game? Idk I get bored really easily so I’d need something to keep me busy, otherwise I’d just sleep all day

Do you wear socks to bed? Sometimes, but I usually take them off before I actually go to sleep, even if it’s cold.

TV shows or movies? Honestly? I prefer Youtube to both at this point, so it’s kinda hard to decide. I’m more likely to start a TV show because you can stop whenever you want, but movies are nice because you can just watch one and be done with it because it’s all one unit.

A fictional setting you’d like to live in: Okay this is kinda lame, but Stark Tower from the Marvel MCU would be kinda cool I think.

Vampires or werewolves? Vampires, but like Marceline from Adventure Time and not Twilight vampires.

How many languages do you speak? One: English. I took Spanish in high school and I WISH I could be better at it, but I’m lazy and tired and don’t have a lot of motivating factors to keep learning it. I don’t know a lot of people IRL that speak Spanish (and a lot of the ones I’ve known also speak English and would probably be more comfortable with me speaking English since I’m white/black).

What’s your favorite band/music artist? I’m bad at this question, but I usually default to Paramore or Green Day.

What’s your dream job? Honestly my dream job would be no job…. But working on music for games would be cool, I guess.

What’s the weirdest dream you ever had? Okay tmi I suppose but let’s just say some of the weird ones are generally nsfw soo… we’ll leave it at that and I won’t go into details haha

An unpopular opinion: I don’t like when the culture is like, “mean” to people with “nerd” hobbies who are gamers or watch anime or whatever. Like yeah, there’s a lot of annoying people who do those things, but there’s a lot of annoying people with ANY hobby or whatever. Plus there’s ALL sorts of different people with these “nerd” hobbies. You’re not just making fun of the cishet white dude who only eats Cheetos, lives in his parents’ basement until he’s in his 40s, and fetishizes Asian girls because of his “waifu.” You’re also making fun of minorities, women, the LGBT community, etc, who like “nerd” things. Like, you can joke about gamers a little and it’s fun, or you can point out problems with the gaming community (while also understanding that every community has its problems), but some people take it too far and it’s just like… being mean to people with hobbies for no reason and making dumb assumptions. It’s so minor, but I find it annoying sometimes because I’m a dumb nerd lol

Naruto Challenge!

I was tagged by @team7fangirl !! Thank you very much! I love doing this things!!

Fanfiction: @xxlovendreamsxx knows I'm crazy about her work, and also @roraewrites 's ones are simply perfect! I read a lot, so I'll keep it short to these two incredible writers!

Story Arc: War Arc

Filler: When Sakura was learning medical ninjutsu, Jiraya's story (Tsunade's dream), Yota's one...

OTP (explain why): SasuSaku - these two will be the death of me! I feel like her love for him can be interpreted in so many deep and beautiful ways, and the way she's willing to sacrifice everything just shows me how much this feeling was important for Sakura to mature. Her love was important to give him back his sanity when he returned, and it was important for him to remember how it felt to be surrounded by people who care about him, I truly believe he has always loved her and when it was all over, she was the only one he wanted and needed by his side. It's just too beautiful!

NOTP (be nice): SasuKarin - I don't like Karin at all. She's one of the most annoying character, in my opinion, and her obsession with Sasuke blinded her. People claim she saved him, but she never really tried to take him out of the darkness.

Crackship(s): Kakashix Shisui, Sakura x Sasori.

BROTP: SasuNaru, NaruSaku, SakuIno and NejiLee.

OT3: SasuNaruSaku

Crossover Ship: Hmm… That's hard... Maybe Niki x Livi?

Do you have any headcanons: One night, Sarada follows Sasuke around the house and finds him removing his contacts from his eyes XD (jus kidding... but it would be really funny.)

Are you happy with the ending? What would you have done differently? Yep! I loved the way things turned out for almost everyone, especially Sasuke and Sakura! They've built something indestructible and I really love thinking about that! I would definitely change the fact that Sasuke spent years away from home. That and the fact that they all had kids too early.

How do you feel about the new generation? The new gen is really cool! seeing Sarada smirking like that melted my heart and I just love that girl with all my heart! I also like Boruto and the others. Shikadai is a sweetie, too, and so is Inojin! I'm just not sure about this new upcoming anime... I don't like the fact that it will create background for what Ikemoto's story will become in the future.

Say something about your favorite character. Good and bad. My baby is simply a queen XD Sakura grown so much and I'm really proud of her! Maybe the only thing bad about her is.... not hitting Sasuke every now and then!! XD

What would a child between your OTP look like? How would they behave as parents? Strada is simply perfect! I couldn't have pictured anyone better than her to to exemplify both of her parents' characteristics! I think both Sasuke and Sakura are quite protective over her. Sakura probably did her best not to let her feel lonely while Sauske was out, and I'm sure he missed his girls like hell!

Say something genuinely nice about your NoTP. Well... Karin helped SasuSaku so... Points?

Say something negative about your OTP. Sasuke can be quite the jerk sometimes, and I feel like Sakura could show him how to live without his Uchiha ass around.

Is there anyway you could be convinced to ship your NoTP? What would make you change your mind about the pairing? nope.

What makes you mad about the series? SP's stupid Sakura bashing.

If you could see anything happen in the series, what would it be? Pregnant Sakura!!! And SasuSaku Kiss!!!

What would you say to Kishimoto if given the chance? I would ask him to draw me a SasuSaku kiss. And I would also ask about his opinion regarding what SP does to his work.

WOW! That was certainly a hard one! It was really enjoyable, though XD
