The Gaang as college students, because I am too pretentious not to throw in my two cents on this:

Sokka - Plans out his daily schedule for the entire semester after the first day of class. Still turns in assignments at 11:59 p.m. sometimes. Crams all his studying into the last 37 minutes before an exam. Says whacky (but lowkey brilliant) stuff during class. Shares inside jokes with professors. Gets straight As because he’s a certified genius.

Katara - Shows up to class fifteen minutes early. Writes down every word that comes out of the professor’s mouth. Spends every possible second in office hours until she gets kicked out. Turns in assignments at least a week before they’re due. Hosts bi-weekly study groups. Gets straight As through sheer force of will.

Aang - Shows up late to class pretty much every day. Class clown but doesn’t realize it. Always forgets to format his papers in double-spaced, 12-point, Times New Calderan font. Half his professors hate him, the other half love him. Knows the name of literally everyone on campus. Always brings snacks to Katara’s study group.

Suki - Big jock energy. Wears a backwards baseball cap and her BSSU Volleyball sweatpants to every class. Gets good grades, but inexplicably starts getting Cs for a semester. Athletics department assigns Water Tribe Husband Material as her tutor. Starts dating Water Tribe Husband Material. Grades return to normal. Mission accomplished.

Toph - Doesn’t attend class. Doesn’t do assignments. Doesn’t show up to exams. Doesn’t participate in group projects. Doesn’t answer professors’ emails. Still gets Cs because there are way too many buildings on campus named “Beifong Family Hall.” Joins Katara’s study group for the snacks and camaraderie.

Zuko - Stuck in an endless cycle of: a) trying really hard at school, b) not doing as well as he wanted to, c) giving up and doing even worse, d) convincing himself he just needs to try harder. Constantly compares himself to his sister. Eventually gets his grades up to Bs, thanks to both Katara’s study group and his mom emailing professors on his behalf.

Azula - Stares professors dead-in-the-eye all through class to establish dominance. Gets perfect grades in the courses she deems important (physics, chemistry, math, history). Skips classes she deems frivolous (art, literature, philosophy). Professors give her A’s anyway. Has been known to sabotage rival group projects.

Mai - Sits in the back of class and never speaks a word. Tries her best to make sure no one knows her name. Gets up and walks out of class when called on by the professor. Only participates in group projects when forced (except when Ty Lee is there). No one knows what her grades are like because she never bothers to check them.

Ty Lee - Doodles flowers and unicorns and rainbows in her notebook during class. Raises her hand all the time anyway. Is actually really smart but pretends to be ditzy so fratboy simps will do her homework. Changes majors at least twice a semester but always schedules electives with Mai. Occasionally gives group project presentations while in a handstand.

Hakoda - Not a college student. Attends Ba Sing Se University’s Parents’ Weekend. Is reminded of the squalor in which the average college male lives. Meets Suki. Decides that she is the coolest human being to ever live. Sneaks away from party with wife. Revisits secret corner of library where their first child was conceived. History repeats itself.

Kya - Not a college student. Attends Ba Sing Se University’s Parents’ Weekend. Is reminded of the squalor in which the average college male lives. Tries to convince Katara not to study on weekend nights. Somehow finds herself in a very familiar corner of the library. Accidentally ensures that she will be attending at least one more Parents’ Weekend.

My Unhealthy Lifestyle

This is my unhealthy lifestyle. It's not intended for you to copy or mimic in anyway but fucccck I feel like documenting/explaining the BS I put my body through. I can't be alone in this.

Vape: When I feel the craving of food I try to smoke one out for however as long as I need. The time I spend vaping I'm not thinking about food or binging so it helps. Bonus : they're many flavors so I'm never really stuck with plain old cigs which eventually smell pretty bad on you.

Tea: My favorite flavors are Green Tea, Ginger Tea, Peppermint Tea and Chamomile. Of course I use honey as sweeter for all of these. I don't like flower flavors because they always tend to be too sweet.

Vitamins: I take four gummies a day two specially made for A, B, Bs, C, D, E, Zinc, Calcium, and of course Biotin. I also take Probiotics. These are all from the Olly brand. They're pretty helpful considering the self sabotage I do to my immune system.

500 Cals or Less: I never eat beyond this. Sometimes I cannot escape certain situations such as being over at a friend's house or going out. In this circumstances I don't eat a single thing before hand (maybe some tea) and split the meal given to me in half. The first half I always eat very slowly and try to be as engaged in conversation as possible. No one notices I don't eat this way. With the other half I pack away and say I'll save it for later but in reality it goes in the trash.

FYI - I hate doing this because it is a waste of money. But it's another unhealthy habit stemming from my ED.

Under the cut, because my history of shipping, or multishipping (because you know me, but I only put in gifs of single ships, b/c tumblr gif inserting function hates me), is a bit long even with only hyperfixations.

1. Victoria Hughes/Lucas Ripley (Station 19)

Ah, yes, I’m back in this hellhole, rereading fanfic, because Grey’s & 19 are back and easy to watch legally without jumping through hoops and I know I’d said I wouldn’t but then I was bored and now I have all these feels again. (I’ll say a few things on it in a separate post when the season’s done in three eps.)

Anyway, this one slammed into me last spring out of the blue, but how could I not ship it when it checks all the right points? 

2. Garcia Flynn/Lucy Preston (Timeless)

Another Kripke show, and third time being the charmed, Kripke and co. actually learned from their past mishaps and actually made a good show (except the finale, but what finale? I don’t know it.)

So, there’s this tall, dark, brood, and bad (or maybe not) and lil’ miss goody two shoes (or maybe not) who get each other, what’s not to ship?

3. Bellamy Blake/Roan (The 100)

(No gif, b/c it’s a minuscule ships with maybe 5 gis and tumblr is a bitch, nothing shows up in search and apparently now you can’t save & reupload gifs - which is a good thing, finally, should’ve done it sooner.)

Oh, boys! My boys. I love(d) them so much. The last ship I have written extensively for - even the most extensively after Revolution (I, mean I only published one short oneshot, but the 35K monsterfic that is 3/4 done is still there in my drafts and I still think about it and them, because dammnit.)

Also very good with Clarke thrown in, or just Roan and Clarke (which I also managed to publish a fic for and kudoses that still come on the regular keep my writing heart at least hibernating and warm - here’s to hoping it wakes up from hibernation one day and I can write again.)

4. Shelby Wyatt/the Haases (Quantico)

Yes, all of them. Even Claire, because why not. And I’m sure if they had had the sister on the show, I’d have shipped her with her, too. 

(I mean, I’d say I only shipped Shelby separately with each of them and I didn’t think of also poly shipping them, but that would be a lie and hardly the worst thing I’ve ever thought of shipping.

I hardly said anything about it on here because that was the peak of Moral Purity Wars time on here and Shelby was wildly hated across fandom, ugh, so I jsut squealed a lot inwardly. 

5. Grant Ward/Leo Fitz & Jemma Simmons/Sunil Bakshi (Agents of Shield)

Ugh, then there was this shitshow I loathe. But for a while there, there were good things. And now we’re really getting into my multishipping tendencies. 

I started with Fitzward, surfed Skyeward, and then hurled straight into Bakshi/Simmons, also managed to write a ton of fic for the first and the last, but none for the middle. 

(That was also the era when I was into highly questionable stuff, like I may or may not have half a notebook of a Ward/Simmons/Rumlow fic somewhere, oops. But I have no regrets, so we understand each other. And that isn’t the worst thing that’s ever come across my shippery imagination, either.)

6. CM2 or Charlie/Miles/Bass (Revolution)

The best fandom had the best ships! 

Who even got me into this show? It may even have been @lglorien​ who mentioned the new Kripke show when we were both binging SPN that summer. And then she didn’t even watch all of it and left me to suffer on my own. 

Well, not on my own, because I found the best fandom along the way, so yay!

Anyway.

If you think knowing Miles was Charlie’s uncle stopped from shipping them from the moment she stepped in The Grand in the pilot and he was an asshole to her, you don’t know me. Then Miloe flashbacks happened in ep. 3. And I simultaneously started shipping that and noticed Charlie and Bass have things in common (mainly, Miles being an asshole to them, as it turned out later.)

But there were so many other good ships (Jeremy x everyone, yes?) and some random minor ones, including one or two of only my own concoction. 

And nobody hated anyone for shipping. The best of times, really. 

7. Elijah Mikaelson x everyone (TVD/TO)

Elijah is very shippable with anyone, but Elijah/Elena - there’s a lady who’s not on tumblr anymore (Hazel) that got me into this, and Elijah/Elena/Klaus - the fault of Sandrine_Shaw on AO3′s fics - were on top of my faves (and still are, TBH.) 

You know, when itsy bitsy vulnerable human dares (the nerve! negotiate with a big bad original? Elijah was impressed. And so was I. The rest was history. 

And for the second, well, when the two Original dumbasses keep falling for the same version of one woman, the solution is rather obvious. 

8. Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester & Dean Winchester/Castiel (SPN)

Yes, I was a Wincest shipper, that shouldn't surprise anyone. Because the early seasons had their charm. And then Cas showed up and jumped onto a Destiel bandwagon as well. So, yeah. 

9.  Buffy Summer/Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) 

There were a few years when I had to much work and studying to watch things, so now this trip into shipping history brings us to early 2000s/1990s. 

I liked Buffy/Angel well enough, but Buffy/Spike was it! I mean, he went to get his soul back for her. That scene when he’s hugging the cross haunts me to this day. Enough said. 

10.  Harmon Rabb Jr./Sarah MacKenzie (JAG)

Oh, god, Harm and Mac! Ship of all ships. The show tried to throw three different women at him and the third stuck. And we had to go through 8 seasons of slowburn then. A+++++

And, um, yes I shipped Mac with Webb for a while, too, because it’s me. 

But yeah. As far as I’m concerned Harm and Mac are happily married and managing their careers and NCIS: LA can bite me with their BS in last season finale. . 

11. Xena/Gabrielle (Xena: Warrior Princess)

Back when my very catholic grandma watched Xena and Hercules with me and also shipped Xena/Gabrielle, because ‘sometimes girls like girls, it’s nice’. Good times. 

I also crosshiped her with Herc, a bit. and definitely had a thing for Xena/Ares. Yep, my ship type started showing early.

Obviously, there have been a lot of other ships, but I tried to stick with the major fixations, otherwise we’d be here all week. (I haven’t even mentioned Marvel, or for that matter, books, so many books.)

I mean obviously the original historical context is just f*cking awesome.

But picture Anne being an incredible badass feminist bi icon. (Does she have a youtube channel? Who knows???? That'd be cool...)

Her new family, two pretty "traditionally" raised siblings at first have a hard time with her and her identity and intensity about everything. (When dont they though right)

She doesn't even have to be a "mistake." Nowadays with cellphones and stuff a confusion like that would be impossible. But maybe she just ran away because the orphanage was abusive af and kept sending her to sh*tty homes.

And honestly if Matthew doesn't have asperger/autism/down but it went ignored cause "we just don't talk about it" but Anne came and was like "that's f*cked up were getting you diagnosed and treated Matthew dammit" then what even is the point.

Diana being raised in a really harsh and severe family so she's afraid her mom will find out about her best friend being, well, her. (No, they are not dating, they're BFFs as originally just that Diana's mom sucks even more in the actual timeline.)

Honestly I just LOVE Anne and Diana's friendship. Like they've literally known each other for one day and they already have this deep bond, they truly are kindred spirits. I think Diana wouldn't even have a hard time accepting Anne; she would just be relieved she could finally explore herself. (Ace-Di-ana-Ace-Di-ana)

Cole (yes, Cole, book and series mixture S u C k I t) being openly gay and spending a lot of his time just laying low at Anne's because his parents also s u c k. (Uhhh maybe then he just realises he doesn't HAVE TO go back to his sh*tty parents and moves with aunt Jo, the Eccentric City Lesbian tm) (And also honestly let's say f*ck it and go all out: Cole with eyeliner)

Man they'd probably sneak around a lot talking about all this "forbidden stuff". Cole would join them whenever they were at Anne's (most of the time anyways) because Diana's mom knows his mom and there's no way in hell he'd risk crossing her way.

Mr IDKwhat (that teacher dating a student) being an ACTUAL pedophile and it being f*cking reported and shut down. (Yes I realize this was era appropriate but SURPRISE, stuff changed)

OMG GUYS MISS STACY

I could make a whole post about miss Stacy alone but lets just go with badass lesbian teacher who actively fights the school and the parents, takes bs from no one and basically adopts all of her students in need.

Also let's be honest, the Barrys would probably be this really wealthy family with a bigass house in the suburbs and they'd all own IPhones or some sh*t and the Cuthberts would be this regular middle class family with an inherited little house in a not-so-awesome-but-still-pretty-nice neighbourhood; so Diana's mom already isn't a big fan of Anne because a) "she's a freaking street orphan for God's sake" and b) "her ClAsS isn't exactly the SaMe as ours Diana dEaR". So imagine if she found out her _perfect older daughter's_ two best friend are queer icons one of them being "a BoY wHo WeArS mAkEuP" *scandalized old British lady accent*

And I can totally picture Anne with this really weird pet, like a mouse or a small bird or one of those extrangely small cats that you can carry in your pocket and her talking to it and it really looks like a conversation to outsiders. (Because it is, they're discussing the latest episode of a show or planning a prank on Cole's stupid homophobic mom)

Let's be honest, Anne would be the BIGGEST fan of Rent. I'm talking memorizing both songs AND dialogue and having a thousand fan theories she'd be able to defend against rain and wind. (This one was originally drafted during my Rent phase, geez it is a great musical though)

OMG GUYS JERRY AND DIANA. I'm talking Jerry being an old friend of Anne's (Orphanage? Foster home? The streets? We'll see...) and him falling HARD for Diana. (Not the same plot as the series though, I know it wouldn't have been possible back then but they'd totally stay together in MY self indulgent AU of everything. Still would exist the class issues and the Anne-Diana fight about it, bonus point if Jerry ends up Latino cause I want more representation man)

Maybe this part being on them more advanced on their life (Maybe the whole thing could be more advanced? Like directly starting with them at 16 or stg??? Cause like they are all sounding way too independent for twelve year olds) so Cole already moved to an apartment in the city near aunt Jo but all in all being independent and pushing through despite his terrible TERRIBLE parenting. And like both Anne AND Diana going to him with their class issues fight (Is Cole Latino/African American? I'd like that.... Let's say so it's my 2:40 am fantasy after all) and him being all surprised because a) He was most definitely NOT expecting them b) This two never fight about anything and c) Diana and Jerry? Geez how long was he away?

And I would legitimate M u R d E r someone for their yelling match across Cole's apartment being interrupted by like a male voice asking "Cole where is X thing?" And Anne and Diana like "I thought you'd been living alone this two years (two years, let's say so my brain is shutting down) since leaving aunt Jo's" and Cole being like "you've also missed a lot" And essentially that's how they meet Cole's boyfriend who doesn't understand a thing but rolls with it because he finally gets to meet famous Avonlea friends (the neighbourhood should be called Avonlea or among those line at least)

Anne and Gilbert WILL end up together cause I honestly think they're meant to be they just compliment each other but like maybe while fighting her totally obvious inner crush she'd date a few people, some girls, some boys, just casually bi-ing by but like settling but still being bi cause that's just real bi people

I've now managed to get an insurance quote from Admiral for 680. My questions are; 1. No Claims Bonus - I'm on track to have 1 years no claims but obviously at the moment I wont have? I want to pay for my insurance ASAP so can I just put 1 years no claims on the form and put the start date as the 12th? 2. Do I need to tell my current insurer I wont be renewing with them? Is there some sort of automatic renewal system in place with car insurance companies? My dad threw the renewal letter out so I have no way to check myself short of ringing the company but I wont be able to do that until Monday and I kinda wanted to buy my insurance now.

I've now managed to get an insurance quote from Admiral for 680. My questions are; 1. No Claims Bonus - I'm on track to have 1 years no claims but obviously at the moment I wont have? I want to pay for my insurance ASAP so can I just put 1 years no claims on the form and put the start date as the 12th? 2. Do I need to tell my current insurer I wont be renewing with them? Is there some sort of automatic renewal system in place with car insurance companies? My dad threw the renewal letter out so I have no way to check myself short of ringing the company but I wont be able to do that until Monday and I kinda wanted to buy my insurance now.
