We only delay our progress when we try to measure our development by another continent's standard or metric for development. We must learn to accept ourselves and work with who we are and not try to live up to another continent's standard. we would only stress ourselves if we keep trying to compare ourselves, Like Nigeria in Lagos, why ban Okada when we can just create a line strictly for okadas, why do we have to ban it? Is it because other continents do not have Okada lines? Is it because we are so used to seeing other countries using buses so we want to be like them? Africa is unique it can't fit into another continent's standard. The problem with development in Africa, most importantly, West Africa is the lack of good governance and leadership. We somehow still have the colonialism mindset, we have the manpower and the colonists helped us in seeing it by how the manpower developed their nations but we are not using ours well. Because of selfish greed. . . . #africanleadershipacademy #ala #africa #anzishaprize2018 #watchanzishalive #gsp2018 #obamafoundation #southafrica #johannesburg #anzishaprize #leadership #picoftheday #obama #instapic #leadersafrica #mandeladay #africanleaders #ala10 #instadaily #sportagency #barackobama #wearetheones #instamood https://www.instagram.com/p/CU60YBWKhMf/?utm_medium=tumblr

NIGERIAN MILLIONAIRE ENTREPRENEUR, KWEKOWE He was 23 years old last year when his Computer Information Technology (ICT) ruled the world, more so when he turned down a mouth-offering job offer from Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft Words. CHRIS KWEKOWE believes not in giving people fish to eat, but teaching people how to fish. Now 24 years, this Nigerian millionaire entrepreneur Kwekowe turned down a job offer to work as a software engineer at Microsoft, owned by the richest man in the world, Bill Gates, in order to begin his own start-up in Lagos. The Lagos State University computer science graduate proudly made this known to Bill Gates during a television interview for Africa’s brightest young entrepreneurs in August 2016. Kwekowe, who won the 2015 Anzisha Prize with a $25,000 cheque, said he rejected the offer to build up his own start-up software, Slatecube– a website aimed at helping other young Nigerians find jobs.
