okay i see daichi as having pretty standard music taste

i don’t wanna say he’s basic? (but he’s kinda basic)

but that’s not a bad thing! he likes bops that bop, pretty catchy music that’s universally agreed upon to be good

he listens to the radio a lot, but i also see him as having playlists for very specific *activities* (not moods, which is how i make my playlists)

for example, daichi has a driving playlist, workout playlist, running playlist, practice playlist, etc

his GUILTY PLEASURE music however, is oldies country

like john denver & johnny cash type of vibes

he can often be heard singing “ring of fire” under his breath when he’s focusing

he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it?

the songs just give him a sense of comfort and familiarity

ok this man has a really versatile music library

it ranges from sweet pop to heavy metal and pretty rarely does he listen to anything in between

he does use lofi music when he’s working on homework or studying because he feels like it puts him in the zone

ok i see suga as having somewhat similar music taste to mine (i have no good reason for thinking this, it’s just kind of the vibe i get)

but if he’s getting hyped up for a game he listens to heavy metal (he and kuroo have a shared playlist that they add to together)

he’s very receptive to music suggestions, and if someone gives him one he’ll listen carefully all the way through

the kind of guy to have playlists based on all of his friends with music suggestions from them

Chris, having been evicted from Fine’s McMansion, wanders the streets of mumblemumble aimlessly. Don’t be fooled by her new fancy dress. Basically, she’s a combat-competent hobo.

Chris spies two kids talking to each other, one of them crying. Chris immediately makes an assumption, believing the big bro is bullying his sis.

“hey! stop nicking her lunch money, twerp”

Chris currently is a firm believer of corporeal punishment.

But the sister deflects the blow. Chris can’t even defeat children right now. Truly, this is a record low for her. You know you blew it when even kids are schooling you on basic morality. She then tells the little girl to stop crying, ironically mirroring her brother.

The infamous double T-Pose maneuver. Chris, you might as well get a shovel and start digging your own grave.

“i keep doing bad things badly, and now im doing good things badly... when fine said i was bad... did she just mean im not talented?”

Chris, finally, does a good thing and helps these kids find their parents.

“yeah. hibiki saved a kid when she got her gear. guess what? bam! im saving two! that’s fifty percent more kid per kid saved. take that, weirdo.”

The kids call her out on Chris singing unconsciously, and Chris gets flustered over it. Dawwwwww.

Chris manages to get them to safety to their Dad...

...while brutally lying about it, making Chris look like a predator. There’s a very crushing irony at play here, given who Chris used to serve.

The Anime Janai crew show up to break some icebergs with a goddamn sledgehammer. As the self-aware Gods of this realm, they got very tired of this poor display of angst, and have decided to directly intervene.

“no. i came here to angst, since this is the Maximum Angst Zone.”

It really would have been better played if it was played off that she felt hurt not because of the lie, but because she felt like she could have helped her better having known the truth, and it being a self-loathing sort of scenario for not being there better for her and not fully understanding the risk at play.

But no, instead, we get this.

The episode ends on that note, but has a post credit scene.

as The World’s Number One Most Stressed Out Human Being™️ i am definitely in no way fit to give advice on how to relax LMFAO 

but i guess something that always works for me is putting on music i KNOW will make me sing a long or make me happy to distract me from the nerves i’m feeling. also putting on my favorite comfort movies to make me feel better (they’re big fish, scott pilgrim vs the world, and spirited away btw lol)

 What are some things that make you tear up?

the ending of coco, seeing my mom cry, or anyone i love cry tbh, when children are neglected/abused, thinking about the world i’ll have to bring my future children into and how i’m going to be able to teach them to stay strong and bright in the face of it, lyrics that hit too close to home, absolutely anything tbh i cry easy

What is your favorite from each sense?

sight - the view of my cherry blossom tree against a pink sunset in the spring of my childhood home, a person’s eyes and how they light up when they smile, especially when they crinkle as they laugh

smell - the earth after rain, a forest in autumn

taste - my mom’s cooking, good coffee on an early morning

one where im married to namjoon n we have a lot of smart musical prodigy babies who have his dopey smile and i live comfortably in our big ass home in korea where i raise our babies n get that good pipe down every night like i should

jk i wanna live in a reality where magic is real and i can cast spells and live my best life as the true witch that i am

What are some troubles you face on a daily basis?

for starters im ugly as shit so theres one

if we mean practically then i have really bad knees and i recently busted them again so its been really hard getting up and down stairs lately and bending over 

but idk theres not really much. emotionally i just tend to get withdrawn and timid in public so it can be hard for me to speak up when i go out

What is one scene from a book that makes you really sad?

unfortunately i haven’t read as many books lately as i did when i was younger...so a lot of my memories are from books that i read like as a kid lol......THAT BEING SAID i think rue and finnick’s death in the hunger games was truly heartbreaking to read, the spine of my copies of both books have cracks on those pages bc i had to read it several times just to really believe it. also i thought it was written so heart wrenchingly well that i had to go back.  also in looking for alaska when pudge, a man who loved to know people’s last words, realized that he would never know alaska’s last words. im also really thankful for that book bc it introduced me to wh auden’s poetry and to this day he’s still one of my favorite poets of all time.

R) Reasons to smile: daily things that make me smile: when sun filters in my bedroom windows just the right way, when both jackson and lex are active in the groupchat and the three of us have a lovely conversation :'), when i make michelle laugh with the random tumblr shit i send her, when i think about H and L and read fic about their love

W) Worst habit: i bite my nails. i literally have NO nails. little nubbies. i hate it but i can't stop biting my nails. i've tried everything, that nasty tasting stuff, getting acrylic nails, painting my nails. when two my fingers were in a cast when i broke my pinky finger, the first thing i did was bite the nail off when i got the cast taken off. i really want nice nails some days tho and i get sad i cant paint them :( i get self conscious about in sometimes, especially in pictures and i feel like its a really ugly feature but whatever

X) X-rays you’ve had: i've broken my pinky finger so i got that x-rayed (I OWN these x-rays too! i just looked at them too lol .. i broke my pinky finger on 8/8/2008.. how iconic) and i think i've gotten my foot x-rayed twice bc i've broken it in the same place twice

Music Shuffle Tag!

Hi all! I was tagged by my lovely friend and fellow Kilt Kult member @internallydeceased to do the Music Shuffle Challenge Game (I do not actually know what the official name is...)
