Having so much brain rot abt teacher Mumscarian so I’m gonna throw it at you lovely citizens of the inter webs:

- Grian is the part time art teacher who subs a lot at the school.

- Mumbo is the tech teacher who everyone is a little afraid of before they get to know him and realize he’s just a tall, intimidating goofball.

- Scar is an architect who is known for 2 things: Amazing architecture and his cat who he manages to mention in every single conversation regardless of topic. You could be talking to him about geothermal heating and he’d find a way to work in Jellie in something that made complete sense in the moment but was utterly bewildering upon reflection.

I accidentally wrote a fic, so here you go!:

Grian sighed, heading to the main office to check his mailbox after a long day. He passed his sister, Pearl’s desk, on the way and paused.

It was utterly wrecked, piles and piles of papers decorating it. She was so stressed out at dinner last night…

He sat down. She could owe him for this one. He sorted through the papers, finishing the easy ones and making neat piles of the rest.

It was nearly 9 now, he was going to be late for dinner, but he knew Mumbo was finishing up some work- a student had wrecked their project in the rain by accident so he was painstakingly assembling a replica for them so they didn’t fail the class- so he wouldn’t be home for a while, either.

Mumbo’s love for his students was a big part of what Grian loved about him- it was hardly the first time Mumbo had gone far, far out of his way to help one of them- once he actually drove all the way to a student’s house to talk them through a project that would make or break their grade after they called him crying.

Partially to distract himself and partially to annoy Mumbo, Grian pressed the button on the intercom. Everyone would be out of the building by now, so he wasn’t worried about annoying anyone.

“Main office to Mumbo Jumbo, how are you, dearest?”

It only took a couple seconds for Mumbo’s reply. “Grian?! How-“ Grian could hear Mumbo’s smile in his voice, “You almost made me drop the whole project! I’d have to start from scratch!”

Grian laughed. “Sorry…”

“No you’re not.”

“Nope!” Grian grinned into the mic, squinting at the page in front of him. “Did you go to the assembly today?”

“Yep… had to go to the first one and the third.”

“The presenter was so hot.”

Mumbo laughed. “Seriously, the man was way too attractive for his own good.”

“And his cat was the cutest.”

“No, the cutest was how much he loved her.”

Grian grinned. “Okay, you’ve got me there. And his eyes, too.”

“What about them? I wasn’t close enough to see.”

“They were like this really vibrant shade of green- I’ve literally never seen someone with that color eyes before- and it perfectly complemented his suit too- I wondered about the maroon until I saw his eyes…”

Grian slowed his ramble, and Mumbo clearly noticed but didn’t say anything.

“Anyway, yeah, he was so hot.”

Mumbo laughed. “I’m nearly done here, but I have a lot of clean up to do, so I’m gonna go for a bit.”

“Okay! I’m just tidying in the office, so I’ll be here when you’re done.”

“Love you, Gri.” Mumbo said over the intercom, and Grian grinned, turning it off with a quick “Love you too.”

Grian had finished cleaning Pearl’s desk and had moved on to his own papers when he was interrupted by the door opening.

“Ready to head home, babe?” He asked, not looking up.

Someone cleared their throat. “Sorry, just wanted to let you know I’m leaving…”

Well that definitely wasn’t Mumbo. Grian looked up.

“Oh.” His face was definitely burning. “I- sorry, can I help you?”

The man in front of him- a taller guy in a wheelchair, wearing a maroon suit with a cat snuggled into his lap. Grian drew his eyes up to his face, which was currently doing it’s best to color match the suit, to meet those startling green eyes.

“I’m Scar.” The man offered, rolling toward the desk. “Do I need to sign anything or can I just go?”

Scar’s voice was smooth, but his red face betrayed how flustered he was.

“Nope!” Grian squeaked.

“Hear that, Jellie? Time to go.”

Grian watched Scar’s rapidly retreating chair, cursing his bravery for what he was about to do. “Wait! There is something I need you to sign.”

Scar’s head turned quickly. In moments, he was in front of the desk again. Grian shoved the paper he had just written at him.

Scar read it, eyebrows raised. “This is a… non-disclosure agreement?”

“So you don’t tell everyone about what you overheard.” Grian explained, blushing.

Scar’s face stretched into a classic salesman smile. “Oh, but what if I want to tell someone?” He rolled closer. “I can think of a few things I’d like to say.”

Grian, stupidly, raised his chin at this. “Oh yeah?”

“How about, ‘Are you single?’” Scar asked, equally confident.

Grian frowned, pretending to ponder the question. He leaned forward, face inches from Scar’s. “I suppose that wouldn’t be a breach of contract…”

“Perfect.” Scar breathed. Grian started to lean in. Scar sat back in his chair, teasingly. “And what about the other fine fellow on the line? Would it be imprudent to ask about him as well?”

“Oh, not at all!” Grian grinned, sitting back in his seat. “In fact, I could call him right now, see if he has any objections to our little contract.”

“I think that would be quite appropriate.”

Grian turned on the intercom. “Mumbo Jumbo to the main office?” He turned it off again, leaving no room for Mumbo to protest.

“And now, would it be a breach of contract to suggest, say, dinner?” Scar asked, eyes gleaming.

“Actually, Mumbo and I are going for dinner soon… any objections to Thai?”

“That sounds amay-zing!”

It was that moment that Mumbo walked into the main office, tugging a backpack on wheels behind him. Mumbo stopped in the doorway seeing Scar. Behind Scar’s back, he mouthed to Grian “He’s been here the whole time?!”

“Ready to go?” Grian replied, standing and gathering his things. “We have a date.”

“Sorry, what?”

pearl doing the interior and 3D model stuff, she is also the youngest in the group! pretty much the silliest of them all and impulse is doing the face of the studio and do the talking stuff but he infact able to do all the work and willing to help if anyone struggle with anything, he also do the arc tutoring school as well! which he is as savage as normal architect teacher would be

So uh, I know a lot of people have HelsHermits that they’ve made, and I’ve come to share my own. But they aren’t exactly Hels Hermits, so forgive me of my sins.

To sum it up, basically Scar and Cub used their Vex magic in season six to essentially curse the Architects in order to slow Sahara’s business. This wasn’t their idea, Vex hierarchy or whatever, blah blah. So basically the ConVex duo use their magic to let demons infect Mumbo, Grian, and Iskall like normal rival companies do.

Oh yeah. And they’re cannibals. So they aren’t exactly the friendly type of ‘Hels’.

Mumbo’s body is possessed by a demon the ConVex Duo named Crow. He’s a rather elegant man who was happy with Mumbo’s fashion choice, though he can be somewhat sarcastic and childish. His name is Crow due to the fact that he has large wings on his back that look like a crow’s wings (wow so creative). He’s essentially the ring leader of the other two. Since I can’t draw the basic description is this: He has eyes like a cat, sharp pupils with a shade of yellow that could glow in the dark. Other than that and the wings, his hands are bird-like talons that can easily pierce flesh.

Next comes Iskall’s demon, a man by the name of Fern. Once again a creative name that I 100% blame on Cub and Scar in universe rather than me even though I made the characters and named them. Oh well. Fern has a form of control over plantlife. When possessing Iskall, vines of all sorts manage to break out of their skin and wrap around them. Fern can use these as extensions of his body, they are very thorny as well, so they make for great weapons. He also doesn’t crave flesh like the other two demons, instead, he prefers simply drinking blood.

Finally comes Grian. He is taken over by a demon who cannot speak, who was given the name ‘Mute’. Canonically, Mute and Crow are together (because I’m a horrible sucker for Grumbo even if they’re just demons possessing Grian and Mumbo’s body) and their ship name is Cute. Mute basically has acid leaking out of their eyes, which are completely black and inky. Their cheeks tend to be covered in the black tears, which can be used to melt through most solid objects. Mute also has the ability to smell any nearby players, so they make for a great hunter! Even though he can’t speak, Crow takes the time to listen to Mute and appreciate them. And yes, Mute is non-binary!

So yeah, haha. That’s them. If I could draw I would but uh, I’m not good at that. I do have a oneshot of them on Wattpad, maybe I’ll post it here if y’all like these three.

Sorry for not posting I forgot I had to feed y'all content so here's something to nibble on. In all seriousness a huge thank you to everyone who's taken the time to see my posts I am very grateful for that. Other than that sorry I'm uploading so late I just really wanted to get this out and it ended up taking longer than anticipated. I thought of this because they're both best friends who've maybe had a small crush on each other at some point but they grew out of it. I also thought their entire dynamic was going to be them causing mass chaos together with Tommy being a gremlin and Roman absorbing knowledge about machines, as well as them both being best friends JUST best friends but they make the line a bit blurry.

Crossover brunch table conversations I would kill to overhear in no particular order

Docm77 + Pickman One of them is having brunch with a very cool goat lady. One of them is having brunch with an emissary of The Shape. Gur Sevraq + Joe Hills Stick a microphone on the table and boom, a podcast. Bdubs + Fero They look the same in my mind. Short green cloak and a lot of rage, something something horses. They yell at each other and if Fero gets upset he will turn into a bird and pretend he was never there. Bdubs plays along with the usual gusto. They might fistfight for fun. They might fistfight god. One drawback is that they would be very loud. Duvall + Mumbo Jumbo What is better than 1 existentially horrified man? TWO of them! They will leave with less answers and more questions but it will be funny to watch. Morning's Observation + Team ZIT They are going to create A Thing together. Hey, good news! I finally finished the lineart for Cub and Scar in my Hermitcraft RWBY AU!

Well...not quite. I still haven’t drawn their emblems since I was still debating on what to use, so if you have any suggestions, leave it in my inbox or reply to this post! I’d love to hear your thoughts! :D

I’ve also left a lil something in the picture that you may notice easily which might give you an idea as to what I’m planning for these two.

Just for fun I assigned the dsmp characters and the few hermicraft members I know of(+ some honorary guests) to empires I think they would belong to.

Rivendell

Philza. The wings, and also I just think he would look neat as an elf.

Jackmanifold, just because I saw that one flower husbands fanart featuring Jack as a stag elf man, and I agreed.

Mumbo Jumbo. Tall and aristocratic. I'm a bit on the fence with this one, I just couldn't think of anything better.

Callahan. Antler boi, also he deserves to be an elf.

The Grimlands

Tubbo. This should be obvious. The kid makes DIY nukes, of course he would be a Grimlander. He would definitely have large burn scars and a robot arm and leg.

Tommy. He could go pretty much anywhere, but I wanted clingyduo. Also, the story potential! Imagine them as 2 steampunk kids. Tubbo makes and sells some pretty damn impressive gadgets so that they can pay for food, while Tommy makes trips to scavenge for the parts needed to make them.

Ranboo. He's not actually a Grimlander and it shows, but Tommy and Tubbo just found him one day and decided to take pity on him. He got no memory of how he got there.

Micheal. He's Tubbo's robot son.

GoodTimesWithScar. You can get really creative with a steampunk wheelchair, plus I can imagine him owning a steampunk shop and being charming and capitalist af.

Fundy. It's the only pro-salmon empire.

Crystal Cliffs

Nikki. I just really want wizard Nikki ok?

Eret. Same reason. She would be royalty as well, but have no actual political power, it's just tradition.

The Lost Empire

Antfrost. If we can have a Tiger Prince we can have a catboy.

RedVelvet. This is the only empire that remotely matches his chaoticness.

House Blossom

Hannah Rose. This one's pretty obvious.

ZombieCleo. I just love the imagery of a flower infested zombie, plus her horror love fits with the whole severed heads thing.

Joe Hills. Where Cleo goes, Joe goes.

The Ocean Empire

Awesamsude. I just love the imagery of him as an atlantis-type warden with a trident.

BBH. Just picture a 7ft demon hybrid blood magic sorcerer that draws the line at swearing.

Xisuma. I don't know him that well, but I like the idea of him being a professor or architect who does blood magic and pottery on the side.

TECHNO. It’s perfect. He would be a potato farmer that battles the queen in his spare time. Every now and again he hops on over to Mythland and sacrifices blood sheep to let out steam.

Ponk. Just let them grow their lemon trees in peace.

Quackity. Remember how Pearl made a brewery? Yeah, not every Helanthian is a chill farmer! Some brew their own liquor, open illegal casinos and have a gambling problem!

Pixandria

Mumza. She doesn’t technically live there but she's still the godess of death soooo...

Philza. Yes I know I've already mentioned him, but I’m torn between elf Phil and devout Phil, so now there's two.

The Undergrove

Wilbur Soot. Now I know this might seem strange but consider this: Shrub is friends with Wilbur. Jack is friends with Scott. Scott is friends with Shrub. They all go ghost hunting on the weekends.

George. Mushroom.

Mezalea

Foolish. He's an architect and he gets to live close to the sea.

BduoubleO. He's barely even a citizen, he just dashes around in the moss like a mole.

GeminiTay, missed in the Resistance list, defected to Mycemiumtopia Nov16. She has a mentor/sibling relationship to False, and her longest running contribution to the server was a custom birch tree she lived beneath, later destroyed by Bdubs in a message about Legacy. She is Purpled.

Keralis served as the architect for Manburg, but after it's initial fall, watching his work go up in flames, and wanting to allow the new nation rising from the ashes of the old to be free from the previous establishment, he left. He built monuments across the land for months before returning again. He currently lives in a desert in a giant pyramid. He took part of Ponk's role from Impulse but later he is Foolish

GoodtimeswithScar, a cartoon evil capitalist who slowly had everyone betray him and then had an anvil dropped on his head. He left a ghost behind that cannot keep his shirt on. His ghost carried on his old friendship with Pearl. He is Jschlatt.

Zedaph tends to be building and tinkering with pointlessly intricate redstone contraptions which the use of is typically either incredibly inefficient, accomplish net zero towards a task, or are intentionally detrimental. While theoretically on the side of Manburg, he was building a house durring the fighting. He is GeorgeNotFound.

Welsknight has his mideval aesthetic down par. This also comes with a mideval concept of retribution and honor, which often sees him hunting down others or their pets, and a value of his stuff as inherently more valuable because of his seniority, but also a respect to those who are willing to stand up to him for their own ideals, as Etho did in their duel. He is Sapnap.

Cubfan135, along with Wels, is one of the only two residents of Manberg. He would later discover his gift to time travel, although that will be after this event. He is Karl.

Falsesymmetry is a bounty hunter and mercenary hired on by Xisuma. The two continue working together long after money is no longer an element of the relation, as False believes Xisuma's way of bringing the server back to the way it used to be is the right way about it and she is a good freind to them, even if he is not quite competent enough to pull it off. She is ItsPunz

XisumaVoid, admin of the server, confuses people as to whether he is ruthlessly competent or completely incompetent. He joined to fight with Manberg in part of a plan to perpetuate the fight between the two. He got caught up in digging a large cavern for Etho, and later continued it for Grumbot, where durring he discovered a buried UFO possessed by a malevolent green entity. He is BadBoyHalo.

Hypnotyzd is Beef's number two. An ancient fey creature, he has been friends with Beef for a long time. He joined with beef's plan for the Podzol Party. He is Skeppy.

TangoTek joined the Podzol Party as their tech guy mainly because he had yet to join a faction. An android, he has multiple bodies scattered around. He is Awesamdude.

Zombiecleo joined joined the Podzol Party of the fun of it, and the appeal of perpetuating the conflict, as well as a grudge left by Doc and Mumbo kidnapping her and forcing her to mine cobble. She is Antfrost.

Opinions on MC and how do you play?

There's nothing wrong with a good game of Minecraft! I watched the Minecraft Live with some of the server (including Dragonis) and screamed about it with my brothers. I like to build, mostly. That and collect cats.
