Going through my edits on my yxkimura teen wolf but Kira focused Instagram fan account and I’m thinking Scira deserved so much better. I literally rewatch Teen Wolf up until Arden’s last episode and the more I rewatch the more I fall in love with Scott and Kira’s love story. I wish the writers wouldn’t let fans being harsh and mean influence their decisions because let’s face it, Scallison reuniting was forced and only happened because the writers wanted to give fans that can’t seem to let go, their own way. And because of that Arden suffered the most because of their decision.

Hello, me again :3 lore theory is still cookin up however father’s day weekend has meant I have paused my fatherless behavior to go spend time with my father. We will be back to our regularly scheduled brainrot shortly.

In the meantime I’m super curious what the arena lore around the wilders is. We do get a fair bit of lore around them in Journey but I like seeing how the arena lore and journey lore compare and contrast. Also I definitely don’t gravitate towards wilder for any particular reason, (and definitely not because of any particular bunny boy.) Any and all allegations against me are false.

Afk arena lore on the wilders is basically:

People made the Ya

Ya got banished into dessert

Hard to survive in dessert, Ya adapt towards more violent methods of survival

Some of the Ya are more pacifist, but are ultimately rejected because of this

Pacifist Ya split from the group, move to dark forest, and end up living there (Under the blessing Dura put on the dark forest)

The wilders have always been a very gated community 🫣 after they took the name “wilders”, they really refused to participate in anything the rest of the world was doing. They were the last ones to officially join the war against the Hypogeans after a good number of years (also partially because they’re not huge on violence 🤷) In most stories, they’re not fans of anyone who isn’t from the dark forest. It’s not an unfounded bias though, wilders are kidnapped into slavery enough that they have their own organization (The Thorned vengeance) with members who were victims of “outsiders”.

They’re fairly cohesive and organized as an entire faction (save for a few characters), and because they all resonate deeply with the earth and nature, have formed most of their practices around it. Arena doesn’t get into their spiritual or religious beliefs, but we know they had a pretty strong relationship with Dura.

Here are some discombobulated facts about them!:

Although we know that the Great Sages of the forest are the most knowledgeable and wise of the wilders, there are only two of them that are playable in arena. They would be Arden, and his student Atheus.

The AFK Arena Instagram and Facebook posts these small carousels called “Dolly’s corner” where each one will have a small, four panel comic about a character. The go farrrr back, and the wiki only has like five. They’re hard to find, but there’s one for every character! I’m pretty sure I posted Lorsans a bit ago.

There are no Graveborn who were Wilders/Maulers while alive. All Graveborn were human before. (Quandem racist real) you can see in Arena and Journey, no Graveborn have any animal features.

Almost every single wilder’s story will mention another wilder (by name or by fact), and with some kind of relevancy. The only characters exempt from this are: Nevanthi, Tamarus, Astar, Trishea, Respen, Solise, and legendary tier characters.

Lorsan in Arena is UGLY 💀💀💀 His sprite art is old so he looks mad janky 😢 hes got this fine ass skin called “soul singer” though

Did you read the book? Are you going to? God I knew H is awful but to be THIS TERRIBLE IS SOMETHING ELSE. All I felt was so sad for W for what he has to put up with for all these decades & K, after she got together with W (pre-marriage, not just after) he’s BEYOND VILE. No wonder he fell for a MM.

No. I’ve never had any intentions of reading it. 

The version J. R. Moehringer wrote might actually be worth reading, but not this one. Because it’s been written by Meghan. 

All that stuff about his dick, Meghan put that in there. No way would a writer like Moehringer put in product placement like “Elizabeth Arden cream” in a book while writing about Harry’s appendage. 

Most of the stuff people are getting worked up over right now are details that Meghan put in there, such as wetting his pants before his first date with Megs. Since when would Harry be that worried about meeting someone on a blind date? The dude stepped out on Chelsy. A LOT. But Meghan wants to look big in the book, so that’s why she made Harry look “intimidated” to meet her for the first time. Pfft. She was a booty call he arranged via instagram. 

Somehow this pants-wetting story doesn’t match up with what was said during their Netflix reality show. Big surprise there. Well, not really, because much of what was written was fiction. 

Meghan can’t keep her story straight. No surprise there. And no surprise she took over his autobiography to make herself look good too.

Also if you love Arden's work, she has a short story out in a new anthology that came out today called "Twice Cursed." I ended up just buying an ebook copy last night so I could read it at midnight because I have no self control. It's good! Interesting, plays into immortality and regrets and confessions.
