Tumblr friends! My tattoo artist (@findyoursmile) is opening up his own tattoo studio in Orlando, FL and it’s going to be so crazy cool I’m so excited for it. He launched this Kickstarter to help fund the project and the more money he gets for it the cooler it gets to be. Plus, if you back it, you get to choose from 50+ prints from Ghibli to Disney to Dragonball to My Hero Academia. And they’re beautiful!

Russell’s tattoos are incredible and he’s such an awesome, humble guy. If anyone deserves to have his dreams come true like this it’s definitely him.

Profile - M’ihrima Ulei

This is more of an updated character profile sort of thing, but you can consider it a LFRP post if you want! it has everything in one spot. ;u;

M’ihrima Ulei is is a Seeker of the Sun Miqo’te who hails from Thavnair. She essentially grew bored of her home, realizing that she’d never be the master of her family’s business with so many older sisters in front of her. As much as she loved her little island paradise, she left to make her own way in the world. Luckily, she took her knowledge of healing magics, alchemy, and the art of smooth talking with her. She has since made a lucrative livelihood. However, with her father (also the tribe’s Nunh) about to relinquish his title after a failed assassination attempt, she wonders what lies ahead— for her family and for herself. Appearance: Dark, rich skin untouched by the elements; short black hair kept in a hime cut; brown, almost reddish, eyes with sharp catlike pupils; silvery white facial tattoos that she’ll sometimes enhance with make up depending on the occasion; petite body frame, with small breasts and hips; fluffy tail; often wears shiny accessories and jewelry with her outfits

PERSONALITY

Traits: Charming, calm and collected, mysterious, flirtatious, dramatic

Flaws: Manipulative, overly blunt, materialistic, shrewd in regards to business, likely to bottle up problems

Interests: Alchemy, storytelling, philosophy/navel gazing, simple pleasures (a little gambling here, some social smoking there), travel, artifacts and other oddities

POTENTIAL HOOKS

Business: M’ihri makes her living outside of Thavnair through selling her alchemical concoctions and assorted knickknacks. Having been raised near Radz-at-Han, she is no stranger to trade and commerce. However, the potions themselves are less to heal and more to grant wishes. She’s known as a benevolent witch figure, who can make brews based on desires: for money, for fame, for love, et cetera. Of course, this doesn’t come without those saying she’s selling snake oil and exploiting unfortunate people. This perhaps sets up your character to visit her. Do they seek something? Are they busting her business for fraud? Investigating the claims? It’s up to you. Of course, she also is renowned for perfumes and services a more high end clientele.

History: Though not by any means a scholar or an archaeologist, M’ihri is interested in relics of the past. Being from Thavnair and hearing about the tales of the Giantsgall, anything that is supposedly blessed by the gods or any other creatures of great power will pique her curiosity. If she can sell it or replicate it somehow, it’s worth looking into. If you come into her shop with an artifact to peddle, she may just pay you to get her hands on it. Beware of her honey tongue if you seek her insight. It starts with, “Oh, I’ll definitely study this for you,” and turns into, “What price would be willing to take to part with this?”

Travel: Though not by any means super wealthy, M’ihri is fairly well off and takes vacations throughout the year to see the land. Sometimes, these involve going back home to visit family but mostly, she’ll pick random spots throughout Eorzea to sightsee. Anything with a great night life is an extra bonus, as she loves to mingle amongst crowds to smoke, drink, and socialize. Besides holidays, these can also serve as business trips to connect with clients or scout potential new sources. Every now and then, she hears about something juicy through the grapevine that M’ihri can’t help but pry into.

Of course, hooks aren’t limited to these! As of recently, she’s spent a considerable amount of time in Thavnair after an incident involving her family and is now back in Eorzea again. She’s missed a lot, not only within her affiliated Sable Tree (FC) but just in general. There’s a few connections she needs to pick back up on, but new ones would be welcome. M’ihrima has been reluctant to get out of her workshop so perhaps she needs faces she can trust. Thavnairians who are familiar with her family have likely heard of events surrounding her tribe (this is a plot thing I can discuss more in detail with interested parties).

1. What’s your favourite breed?

Judging by my Lair, Imps and Skydancers are a tie. Used to love Nocturnes, but I guess it was a passing fancy.

2. What are your favourite genes?

Opal. Love Opal. And Metallic. It just SHINES, so pretty.

3. What’s your favourite dragon in your lair?

Uhhhh, only ONE? Hm. That’s a toughie. I guess Arcalion, he's one of my Progens. Or maybe Nivur, just for the Lore that she inspired.

4. What’s your favourite familiar?

Hm. The Woodland Turkey. Have you ever seen Turkies in real life? They move like little Velociraptors. And they make the cutest sounds. They're ugly as heck though, but still neat.

5. What’s your least favourite familiar?

Boolean. Because it's only for the rich, and even then, it's impossible to get one.

Reborn by Apel (@apel-rising). But I'm not shelling out 30k of gems for a custom skin that someone else owns all the copies of. I'm crazy, not stupid ;)

I'll say Eeriansadow because I know her and she's awesome. Then Mezzo (@circuit-wings) because I love her accents and she puts up with me whenever I need a Fire Nest, haha. Actually anyone that puts up with my constant need to rent a nest is awesome, they're listed in my Profile!

10. If you could have a deity in your lair, which one would you choose?

Hm. It's a tie between the Arcanist and Gladekeeper. Arcanist because he seems to be a bit of a troublemaker, and I identify with that. And Gladekeeper because I'm a nature-lover and love my headcanon that She 'changes' with the seasons.

11. How much did your most beautiful dragon cost?

*Eyes Lair* The most beautiful? Not as much as you'd think. The most expensive was Arlia - 3000 gems in auction. Though the seller was nice enough to throw in an accent along with the noodle

12. What would you say is your most successful nest?

Well, Crandal and Kimiko are the ones that end up netting me the most money lately, but Siwan and Futhark are a Noc pair that everyone clambors over in winter.

13. What flight are you in, and why?

Nature. I've always been drawn to nature-like things, in RL and online. And I loved the Gladekeeper design. I actually have a 'Nature Dragon' tattoo on my upper right arm.

14. Do you dislike any flights, and if so, why?

Usually no. But Light has been irritating me lately - they don't seem to want anyone else to have Dominance. It's rude. Let someone else win for a bit, hmm?

15. What’s your least favourite breed?

It's a tie between Tundras and Snappers. I just don't like their art, or how genes look on them.

16. Is there a dragon you wish you had?

I have a long wishlist of dragons I wish I had. All of their colour combos have never existed on the site, unfortunately. The search continues!
