I Headcanon that Ulquiorra secretly loves the taste of fruit. I mean bats like fruit and Ulquiorra does resemble a bat so it is natural for him to enjoy the natural sugar and taste of fruit. He loves Bananas, mangoes and strawberries the best but any fruit he generally likes. It's such a cute headcanon and I will headcanon this forever and ever. 🍓🍌🍇

I'm rewatching the Arrancar arc of Bleach, and I have some thoughts. I just reached the end of the Zommari vs. Byakuya fight, and Zommari brought up how soul reapers kill hollows as if it's natural, and I kind of had a realization. Maybe. It's late and I had a 10 hour shift today so I might be forgetting a few things.

We know the soul reapers side of this whole Hollows vs. Soul Reapers thing. From their perspective, they're doing the right thing. Their whole job is to keep the balance of souls between the World of the Living and the Soul Society, well, balanced, and if hollows were allowed to eat human souls unchecked it could have disastrous consequences. But the hollows don't know that. From the hollows perspective, they're just being hunted and killed off without mercy. Like, no wonder Nel, Peche (I probably didn't spell that right), and Dondachaka (probably didn't spell that right either) act so scared and call Ichigo and co. the "bad guys" when they find out Ichigo's a substitute soul reaper. Hollows eat human souls because it's in their nature, it's instinct, similar to vampires having to drink blood to survive, and they're killed off for it without any explanation as to why.

Anyway, TLDR: Hollows have no idea why soul reapers kill them and I wish that was explored a bit more.

Also, a couple quick quotes to kinda support that hollows are completely in the dark: "Who gives you the authority to kill? Why do you target us hollows?"You label us as evil creatures and go to great lengths to try to get rid of us, and all because you arbitrarily decided that justice is on the side of the soul reaper." - both Zommari, Bleach episode 198

So I haven't read CFYOW and it turns out Grimmjow has no issue with Nel smacking him for being a jerk or throwing a bala at him for the same reason. Bro just lets it happen?? Also, Harribel tells him to come join her to eat.

What's wild Is Grimmjow is much much stronger now than in the Arrancar arc. Even Harribel admits she wouldn't fight him because she isn't sure how powerful he's gotten.

So this man just lets the ladies do whatever with him. Lmao.
