Having seen the episode and evaluated Pernida's abilities, it's time for another round of Sternritter vs. Espada, But By Someone Who Takes It Seriously:

Pernida runs the Espada gauntlet!

vs Aaroniero: Instant meatball

vs Szayelaporro: Instant meatball, Gabriel revival, Quincy regeneration, meatball again, Gabriel revival, Quincy regeneration, arrow the face.

vs Zommari: Enough speed to dodge attacks, but Zommari's sovereignty could never extend to the Left Hand of the Soul King. Urchin meatball.

vs Grimmjow: Meatball

vs Nnoitora: Meatball

vs Ulquiorra: Assuming Ulquiorra measures his opponent correctly and doesn't get obliterated before pulling out his second release, he might stand a chance. I don't know if the Lightning Lance or Gran Rey Cero Oscuras would have the power to obliterate Pernida. If it does, he might actually be able to win; his ability of flight, keen intelligence, and observational expertise would keep him from worrying about the nerve attacks, and his regeneration would allow him to sever and regrow any limbs Pernida might claim early.

Harribel: she's got the speed and intelligence to survive, and I don't think nerves could infect her water, but I also don't think she has any weapons that could bring Pernida down. Love her, but I think she'd get caught at some point and it would be sharkfin dumplings.

Barragan: This one's hilarious because I literally see no way Pernida wins. Maybe if he shoots him with enough arrows, but Barragan is a stupidly effective counter...unless the Soul King's hand is immune to aging. Which it might be. But even then, Gran Rey Cero and Gran Caida might be effective, and Pernida has no real option for offense. His nerves can't touch Barragan without rotting. Respira might even spread back and kill him like the drug. It's just hilarious.

vs Starrk: again, assuming Starrk takes it seriously and gets to his released form and has time to study his opponent, he should be fast enough to dodge. Most importantly, though, he has a weapon that should hurt Pernida: his soul bombs. Because that's what Nemu did: shaved her soul and sent a piece of it to explode.

That was one piece.

Starrk can do that a hundred times over; assuming his regeneration isn't completely broken, Starrk takes it. And if it is, well...none of them do.

The Rebel Quincy Army (1)

Based off of U.S. Army ranks, but not exact for simplicity and creativity's sake

The rebel Quincys are rather weak for the most part due to not having Yhwach's blood and true Sternritters to train with. Privates E-1 up to Sergeant wear a formal coat with shoulder pads, cuffs, and a high collar over thin collared shirts and with dress pants to match.

Their colors are a dark sage green with darker, forest green accents. Rank insignia is white from Private E-1 to First, then gold from Corporal to Sergeant, and Orange from Staff trough to Command.

Privates E-1 can't use their powers yet and are mostly training class, not often used on the field. There's not many E-1s within the rebels anymore as they've been working diligently to train up the ranks as much as possible even with their lesser numbers

Privates E-2 are learning to use their powers and have become physically stronger than E-1

Firsts bear a power level similar to foot soldier soul reapers and are permitted to begin wearing plain accessories to differentiate themselves if they wish

Corporals are stronger than mere foot soldiers, but too weak to be considered significant yet

Specialists are strong enough to be considered significant now and are permitted to begin wearing colorful accessories to differentiate themselves instead of the plainer ones

Sergeants are about Bount level, and at this stage, their rank insignia moves to the back of their coat instead of staying on their chest

The colors from Staff to Command on the main uniforms are a diluted lime and a brighter lime to accent one another, more monotone but easily differentiated.

Staffs are Fullbringer level. At this rank they're now permitted to wear capes, ponchos, half-capes, hoods, etc. to differentiate themselves, but their insignia stays on their back. This is the rank where soldiers begin working on mastering a Vollständig. There are only usually 10 Staffs

Masters are Espada level, and there are only usually 6 of them

Majors are Captain level and there are only four of them, this is when they are permitted to be more creative with where their insignia patches are. You want it on your leg, your chest, your arm? Wherever you want. There are four Majors

Command is finally at Sternritter level and there are only two of them

Finally, we have the rank of Sergeant Major, who is differentiated by the fact that they wear their old Private E-1 uniform and a Tricorn hat, at the front of which is their insignia.

Sergeant Major Dex is benevolently ambitious. He loves a good challenge, but he's not unafraid in battle. The rebel Quincys value their lower ranks on an individual level, which is why differentiation is so important to them as they rise, so they don't charge into battle willy nilly or take powers like Giselle's and personalities like Mayuri's very lightly.

As an extra note, the shoulder pads are at the mid-shoulder to protect from sword strikes and bolo ties are the most common accessory found throughout the ranks

Bazz B would take a dip in the pool, he already feels the heat each and every single day so why not a change

He would surf and compete against Candice to see who can withstand the wave (Bazz B would probably try and drown her)

Most likely end up with a water gun and disrupting the other Sternritters

Most likely punished by being placed in the sun due to him disturbing others

His reward... Uses Cang Du, the Iron to cool off

Wears shorts

Cang Du

Would be the one supervising for any disturbances

Will catch Bazz B in the act and will be the one to vote for Bazz to stay under the sun

Will not be surprised if Bazz B used him to cool off (Translation, will be dipped in water and hugged for a long hour)

In his time off from taking turns in keeping an eye out, he would use his wolverine claws to cut fruit and arrange it in the most beautiful scriptures (he is bored)

Wears a tank top and shorts

Askin

Will be under the shade of a palm tree, laying there and relaxing

Will be drinking coconut water out of a coconut with a straw and a small umbrella, saying that coconut water tastes better

He would wear an unbuttoned shirt with small palm tree prints and shorts

Most likely to be buried by Gremmy

As Nodt

Even though he was looking scary, he would be one of the sweetest and timid of all Sternritters (If not evil)

He would build sand castles and would try to enter a competition of sand castles (Wins)

Would avoid the water, due to being afraid of being taken away by it's strong currents

Most likely to help Gremmy burry Askin

Wears a black face mask, shorts and a t shirt
