The Leaders of the Free World finally on Comixology!

I heard about this thanks to having art from @artofatlas but I wasn’t sold until I saw two of things:

One of the Protagonists is a descendant of Sun Wukong, the Handsome Monkey King, and a Superhuman wrestler who looks like a gator named “Florida Man”.  First, it had my interest, then my attention, and with that last bit ...

But how was this kickstarted comic? 

Well, pretty good all things considered. 27 Pages of worldbuilding and introductions that leave me looking forward to what’s next.  

A lot of the Who and What can be found on the comic’s Kickstarter page (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lotfw/the-leaders-of-the-free-world), so I won’t repeat it here.  I will say that though not all of the cast gathers in this issue, it is a very strong setup.  The action flows well, character designs are strong as are their voices.  Why they are forming a team hasn’t been fully revealed quite yet, and I don’t think anything tops the comedy of “Florida Man” as a superhuman, there’s enough humor throughout to keep things light and flowing well, the events so far have me looking forward to the next kickstarted campaign or however else #2 manifests. 

If I have to ding it, the self-censorship is a little off but that’s about all that comes to my mind after reading it. 

I recommend giving it a read.

Plus it has a cyborg Corgi (a Cyborgi) named Doohicky that can transform itself into any tool or weapon needed. 

You just can’t say no to a cyborgi!

Yo, what is that show with Irene in the glasses? I *saw it around* like a year or so ago but wasn't super in to Red Velvet when it came out. Now I need to catch up :D

This is really your first time playing CoM for GBA?

This is basically my first time playing CoM ever. I had it for ps2 when I was younger, but I sucked at it and my ps2 broke before I could finish it.

I’ve seen all the cutscenes and I know how the story goes, but I’ve never beaten the game.

Jeongyeon was actually the first person in Twice to catch my eye when I started hearing the song Cheer Up for the first couple of times--and I guess I don't typically go for her "type" visually speaking (short hair, boyish clothes,etc). While I do think she's very pretty and kind and feminine, isn't the whole "Jeongyeon hyung/oppa" a joke started within the group? The other girls call her that a lot don't they?

Happyhoganon: How many tumblr artists do you know? Which ones do you know personally?

Personally? None that I’m aware of. 

An artist that I’ve seen around on Tumblr for a while though (despite not being sure whether they know that I’ve noticed them) is @artofatlas who’s been a follower of this blog for... well, a long long time. 

I’ve seen that he also has a youtube channel where he talks about his art stuff. So yeah... if anyone pays attention to this post (hopefully the anonymous sender, whoever you are, sees it) then check him out. 

I’m always open to seeing new cool art, though. May take me a while to see it because I’m busy as shit with real life stuff, but I’ll get there eventually.
