Sorry for not being as active as I used to be y'all, I haven't been on here because I've been pouring most of my focus into finishing a backlog of commissions and it has unfortunately left me with no energy to interact and socialize here lol
For the past week alone I've been working on this BEAST of a comm, and both me and my setup had a bit of a technical difficulty with just how BIG this specific commission was, in terms of details and quite literally file size too (this was originally a 5000x3000 piece, which caused a lot of black screens and me waiting for my PC to catch up everytime a 15-minute autosave was happening)
Tumblr media
I feel like me suddenly being inactive was a necessary thing as well because as much as I don't want to admit it, my socials have been a bit... distracting... in this pursuit, and I am realizing a very concerning problem. And as such, I had to cut off and limit the amount of times I will be present here in an effort to exert self-control and instill discipline on myself.
I do not have anything new to show unfortunately, and may continue to NOT be able to show anything Digital Circus AU or fandom content at all, so all I can say is I'm sorry is this post is disappointing news because you followed me for that kinda thing.
Also I got a tooth infection(?) and a pink eye lol, how fun /s (don't worry though, I'm still fine and not really in a painful situation, just a minor inconvenience)

Was curious, do you have like a price range in mind for how much Solar's parts (or any of their parts) cost or is it just kinda up to interpretation? Idk I just always wondered how expensive it was 'cause I was like well considering all the sensors and other robotics in it it prob gets pretty pricey to buy. Although maybe the price isn't as high 'cause it seems to be a common thing added to robots, so maybe high demand drives the price down
Totally fine if you don't have an answer btw, I was just curious if you had anything specific in mind when writing about Solar buying it (well, KC buying it with Solar's money technically)
Wow... yeah I think I want to keep that fuzzy. I can maybe give you a range of what's more expensive and what isn't, sort of? Because the DCA is an older model and I don't have a good sense as to whether that would make the parts harder to get, or if Fazbear would make sure they stayed in small batch production. [Likely] Also if it would mean that the parts themselves were simpler/cheaper to make because they're less sophisticated? We know from TSAMS that Sun and Moon have much smaller hard drives then Earth at least. And specifically for EMHM; the blue-screening/crash and restart that happens when things get too intense is a function of the old software. They have plenty of case sensors but too many of them going off at once is overwhelming. It's like trying to play a video, download something, and simultaneously use photoshop on a 5000x3000 pixel image while using Win95 on a really old laptop. They can't always handle it. They're also not getting regular software updates anymore unless Moon is the one doing it. Eclipse's are particularly vulnerable to viruses and crashing because they often don't take good care of themselves. [Self-loathing, self-destructive behavior. Hence why Lunar/Monty was able to give Eclipse a malware virus while he was still in Sun.] But the actual dicks and sleeves would be modular for other types of anamatronic frames. It's just whatever will physically fit in the crotch area. And the sleeves are the cheapest because it doesn't have a rocker mechanism to make it move out of the torso and lock in place or a panel to slide over it when it's not being used. It's just a big bundle of wires, a valve like a sprinkler hose for oil to seep out from the reservoir bottle and a tiny card for the motherboard. Things like rays are probably cheap, just static parts. Endo arms and legs are more expensive because they're specific to the model type. Spines, feet, necks and skyhooks would be VERY pricey because it has to bear their whole weight. [Good metal] The worst things to replace would be the hands and the head. [Lots of complex sensors and moving parts.] Solar's cock purchase in particular was difficult mostly because he hadn't clocked a lot of hours on that first check and he was really stressing that it needed to be perfect for Moon. Also he's not working directly with kids like Sun and Moon [less liability] AND he's a new employee. He doesn't get paid as much as them and he's not getting as many hours just working the theater. It opens after the Daycare and closes before it too. He's just late coming back sometimes because the space is a mess [small kitchen + the seating area to clean and a lot of carpet to vacuum.]

[Image: The circle MOGAI flag with the text: Calling all flag makers!]
So! I’ve figured out how to automate making simpler flags! Which means I managed to crank out ~2100 flags in one day. They’re all up in the Mega,nz folder in my pinned post/FAQ!
Now I’m almost out of simple flags to fix up so I’m working on collecting as many flags as I can for the DA archive.
So I’m asking all flag makers (or flag collectors) to gather up all the flags they’ve made/found and send them to me in a folder so I can focus my time more on uploading stuff to the archive and working on more complex flags.
I’d prefer if you would link me on Deviantart because that’s more reliable than tumblr or ping me on the LGBTA wiki discord if you’re there. Otherwise you can submit it through the submit function on tumblr or DM me on @kiloueka
I’ll take any flags! I’ll only be uploading MOGAI-related flags to the gallery right now but I’ve recently made a folder in the Mega drive to keep ND, kin-related, and other flags as well. Maybe when (or if) I get mostly caught up with the MOGAI-related flags I’ll branch out and work on some of those next!
Requirements:
Upload flags in a folder that keeps their original resolution and filename (like dropbox or mega.nz or google drive).
Name the file with the full term name + " - @[how you want to be credited]". No shorthand or keysmashes.
Make a note somewhere about symbols that you didn’t make yourself (like did you use some public domain clipart or a copyrighted image?)
Note if any flags are just edits of other people’s flags (like a specific demigender flag or a combo)
Optional but would be really really really helpful if you did (really):
Send them in 5000x3000px PNGs (especially if they’re more complex flags)
Add transparent PNGs of whatever symbols you used or link to wherever you found them.
Organize simple stripe flags in folders based on # of stripes (or how many stripes you needed to use from a template (explanation under the cut)). If they’re more complex then don’t worry about it.
Attach a text doc with definitions if they’re not easy to just look up myself.
Please boost this post far and wide! I want this to be a resource everyone can use and I have lots to catch up on after my 3ish year hiatus!
If you wanna help out in other ways I have a lot of ways listed at the bottom of the FAQ!
Thank you all!
With the automation I have to have separate actions in photoshop depending on the number of stripes of the template I’d use.
Tumblr media
See I stick both these flags in the 6 stripe folder when automating even though the right one technically only has 4 because 2 of the stripes are twice as wide as the others.
You can check out the Unedited flags folder in the mega folder pinned on the blog.

Not a request but got any advice for making pride flag icons/edits ect?
I’m new to icons but I wanna make them reqularly! I have a hard time lining up multiple flags. Among other stuff I wish I knew how to do. I’m sure you got some great tips from all your experience with using so many flags on a single edit!
(Ps seeing those on mogai hcs made me feel more confident having a long identity and using more than two flags for my icon. I’ve even learned a lot from there! Thank you!)
i’m so glad my blogs have helped you out, and hopefully my advice is helpful as well!!
a mistake that a lot of people make when starting out making pride icons (i did this too when i started) is trying to arrange the flags by hand. this almost always results in unevenly split flags, unless you get lucky or go very slowly. it’s actually easiest to do a bit of math! i have a flagmaking tutorial here, which uses a somewhat similar method.
i make my icons 600x600 pixels (and size down from there when necessary), so these examples will reflect that, but you can modify the numbers to fit your own sizing! i’ll just do a basic two-flag icon and then give the numbers for more flags. i’ll also teach you how to use the controls for gimp, so if you prefer another software you may have some different tool names, but it likely won’t be too difficult to figure out what corresponds.
tutorial is under the cut so people don’t have to scroll through the whole thing!
so i have two flags, bi and trans, open in gimp:
Tumblr media
i’ve taken them both from the pride-flags deviantart, so they’re 5000x3000 pixels. i know that my icon will be 600x600, so the first thing i do is resize them by clicking ‘image’ > ‘scale image’ to get this menu:
Tumblr media
clicking the chain symbol to ‘unlock’ it (when it’s ‘locked’, the numbers scale to match the original image, so if you want to change the width and height independently, you have to ‘unlock’):
Tumblr media
and then entering ‘600′ into both fields:
Tumblr media
now that they’re both the same size, i’ll put both flags into one image. you do this by clicking and holding one flag in the layers menu:
Tumblr media
dragging it onto the other image on the top bar:
Tumblr media
it should switch your view to the other image, and you can drag the layer on top of it and let go, which will add it as a new layer:
Tumblr media
now, you’ve got two flags on a 600x600 base - for an even split, divide 600 by 2 to get 300. there’s a few ways to resize your flags from here, but i’ll give you my personal favorite.
right-click on the layer you’re resizing in the layers menu (can’t get a screenshot of what the menu actually looks like because of how snipping tool functions lol) and click ‘layer boundary size’ to bring up this menu:
Tumblr media
the sizes are automatically unlocked, so all you have to do is change the width to 300:
Tumblr media
and hit ‘resize’, which gives you this:
Tumblr media
boom, perfectly even split!
if you were doing this with three flags (600/3 = 200, so each is 200 pixels wide), you’d resize the top flag to 200 and the middle flag to 400. so here are some basic sizes:
2 flags: 300, 600
3: 200, 400, 600
4: 150, 300, 450, 600
5: 120, 240, 360, 480, 600
6: 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600
8: 75, 150, 225, 300, 375, 450, 525, 600
10; 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, 360, 420, 480, 540, 600
and so on!
as for numbers that don’t go evenly into 600, i scale down my base image and work from there. for example:
7 flags, 560x560: 80, 160, 240, 320, 400, 480, 560
9 flags, 540x540: 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, 360, 420, 480, 540
it can definitely get a bit tedious if you aren’t great at mental math or are working with a weird number of flags, but it’s so much easier than trying to eyeball it!

the ultimate lgbtia+ flag!
this was originally made by @lesbianweirdal but they’ve deactivated (here’s a link to the original post in case they come back). i recreated it at a 5000x3000 size, and added the meanings.
the flag is a compilation of the philadelphia pride flag, the updated version of the original flag by gilbert baker, the victory over aids flag, and the white stripe is from monica helm’s transgender flag (although i took the liberty of changing the meaning of the white stripe from nonbinary people to the meaning from the são paulo love fest flag, which still includes nonbinary people as it signifies the gender (and sexual) spectrum as well as peace and union). you can read about all these flags over on wikipedia.
colour meanings:
(top) black & brown = support for queer people of colour
hot pink = sex
red = life
orange = healing
yellow = sunlight
white = nonbinary people, the gender and sexuality spectrum, and peace and union
green = nature
turquoise = magic & art
indigo = serenity
violet = spirit
lavender = diversity
(bottom) black = victory over aids & remembrance for those who have died from it.

Mega.nz of all the pride flags in my collection (REUPLOADED!)
Tumblr media
You can download the full size of everything in one go. All the flags, resources and symbols, all the PSDs, all the combos, all the triforces.
Disclaimer: I’m in the process of cleaning it up and getting things back on track so it’s pretty disorganized. But the old folder’s been down for so long that it’s probably better having a cluttered folder than no folder.
[Link]
The main folder is basically my to-do list as well as a few of the most common templates.
If you wanna help out and redo some of the more complicated ones in 5000x3000 and submit, then that’d be really appreciated. You can upload them on imgur.com and link me, it should keep the original quality. If it has a symbol on it, could you also please upload a transparent png of the symbol too?
Templates are for ya’ll to make your own HQ flags without having to draw out the stripes each time, and they’re all the “standard” 5000x3000 I use in my gallery.
Scraps are random flags I’ve (usually) created that don’t have a term to go with them and are perfectly free to claim for something you ID with. Just be sure to send me a message saying you intend to use it for something so more than one person doesn’t use the same flag for two different things.
Uploaded is for things I’ve uploaded to the DA but haven’t posted yet. I move them to “Posted” when I do. And then I move them to their own organized folders when I upload them to the main tumblog.
Everything else should be self explanatory I think.

I coined a gender term to describe my experiences a little while ago, but I've never had the spoons to create a flag for it. Would you like to? I can't send links in an ask, but if you search "erotogender" (the name I decided on) on my blog, you'll find the post (including other name options I ended up not choosing).
[post about erotogender]
Before I introduce the alternatives, I want to make something clear:
On one hand, I do not want to speak over any group that I’m not a part of, even if I’m also a nonbinary person. So, if any of these connotations I wrote for the flags are out of line or need to be replaced, I will respect that. And my intention is not saying that erotogender people necessarily find the things mentioned important or essential to their identity and pride.
On the other hand, I don’t want to make generic flags. I don’t want to make flags that just look like pretty color pallets, I don’t want to make flags that are just “this represents fluidity, this represent sex, this represents binary genders, this represents nonbinary genders”. And, since I have nothing to go on but a definition, I had to make my own interpretations of the erotogender experience.
That said, please enjoy and give feedback!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blue is for fluidity, purple is for sexuality (not as in “sexual orientation”, but as in “thing related to sex”), red heart is for (sexual) desire.
(Did you know the color of the heart on the first flag is literally called desire? It’s a popular shade of red at Australia and New Zealand, according to Wikipedia!)
This design is pretty straightforward. I wanted to make versions with the Eros symbol instead of a heart, but I couldn’t find large versions of the symbol, and I wanted to make the flags at Pride-Flags’ standard size, which is 5000x3000.
I kind of worry people mistake this flag for an orientation one, but I don’t think that would be too much of a problem. If you are worried about similarities, I think this flag is only relatively similar to incited attraction and auto(sexual).
The variations are because maybe the first flag may be too bright for some, but that’s your call.
Pros:
Rather easy to draw flag
Colors are kind of easy to remember too
Meanings are straightforward and don’t require too much of your memory
Cons:
May be mistaken as an orientation flag because of the heart
Has sort of a boring design
May not be the easiest flag to sew
The colors aren’t terrible, but they also aren’t great
Now that I look at it, the colors alone may be mistaken as the colors for the bi or androgyne flags
Tumblr media
Black stripe + frame represent the “closed doors” aspect of the gender; most people aren’t in sexual situations more often than not, and even if they are, I don’t think they would feel comfortable coming out as erotogender at those situations.
Teal represents (gender) fluidity;
Purple represents sexual situations/sexuality/etc.
Orange represents conflict/struggle, since it’s hard to be erotogender in our society for a number of reasons (sex is taboo, nonbinary genders aren’t accepted, etc.), and/or the willingness to be proud of your identity despite that;
Red represents passion. Whether it means passion for your gender, passion for sex, passion for fighting for your fights or something else is up to you.
I wanted to go for something more creative here. Originally, I was going to make just a black bar and then 4 squares, but it didn’t look too good, so I added a border between the colors and changed the proportions a bit.
As for the order, I wanted the darker colors to stay closer to the black bar, so I ended up dividing the flag between cold colors and warm colors. I also kind of wanted to relate the meanings: gender fluidity has more to do with sexual situations (in the context of the gender) and struggle regarding gender, while passion has more to do with sexual situations and struggle, and so on.
As for similarities… I hope this doesn’t look too much like a Windows 98 logo? It has different colors and stuff.
This also kind of reminds me of temporagender flags, but I doubt someone would mistake one for the other.
Pros:
Rather easy to draw flag, but only if you have a reference
Colors look nice, at least for me :P
The flag is pretty different from the norm and stands out, especially among pride flags; it would be easy to recognize for someone who knows about the flag
Rather easy to sew, with the exception of the proportions that are not as important anyway, even if it’s still rather complicated
I don’t recall seeing a flag with those exact colors, so pride stuff that doesn’t have the literal flag design would be rather easy to point out too
Cons:
It’s sort of complicated, I don’t think it would be very easy to remember it
The proportions aren’t intuitive
Meanings aren’t intuitive
Meanings might not be relatable for every erotogender person
There will be people complaining it looks like a Windows logo
There will be people complaining it doesn’t look like a pride flag
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dark red represents conflict/struggle, since it’s hard to be erotogender in our society for a number of reasons;
Orange represents pride and conviction about being erotogender;
Light gray represents fluidity;
The pink heart represents erotism, sexual desire, sexuality, the act of being sexual, whatever else you want to call it.
I think a bright color represents desire better, but I worried that pink would look too bright.
I didn’t want to make this flag too colorful, so that’s why fluidity is gray here instead of blue or teal (which are more watery colors). I still worry about the orange being too bright, but I couldn’t find a better shade.
Similarities? Well, if you want to push it, maybe genderpositive and that queer flag suggestion I made months ago.
Pros:
Colors are rather uncommon, even though there aren’t many;
Meanings are well divided between superficial (having a gender which is fluid and related to being sexual/being in sexual contexts) and relatively deep (struggle, pride), so there’s something in for everyone (probably);
Overall design is not too complicated or commonplace
Cons:
Meanings aren’t intuitive
Colors aren’t the best, and may be regarded as too bright
People may think it’s either a kink flag or an orientation flag
Not too easy to reproduce, even though it’s not too hard either
If you didn’t like either, or want me to slightly alter something, feel free to say so!
~ Tath
