Hunter Noceda (The Owl House): "he's a little intimidating until he speaks for 0.2 seconds and you realize he's just a funny little guy actually, and it's all downhill from there"
Asgore Dreemur (Deltarune): "Most divorced man ever <3"
something that blows my mind is that there are parts of toriel’s theme hidden in asgore’s theme, but no traces of his in hers. it was a really subtle and clever way of showing that toriel cast asgore entirely out of her life but he still desperately wants her in his and deeply cares about her. anyways toby fox is a genius
Asgore Dreemur (Deltarune): “Most divorced man ever <3”
Victor Frankenstein (Frankenstein): “Spends the entire book cowering from his own creation until he is literally one of four characters left alive (including the monster). Then dies without accomplishing his only goal in life.”
“I don’t even know you. What do you mean, I ‘have’ to go with you?”
(For Asgore Dreemur.)
Asgore took a deep breath to gather how best to put this. He needed to be sure his answer was as concise and clear as possible without sounding condescending. At last, the King of Monsters released a sigh full of resignation as he fixed his blue sapphire eyes on the lion.
"I mean what I say. You must come with me." He put a hand on the mayor's shoulder, his grip firm. "It is no longer safe here. Someone in your former employ has hired a hit on you. That's why I'm here: to ensure you live to see the next day."
Yes, Asgore had taken upon himself the task of bodyguard, but considering the sort of trouble looking for Lionheart, the Boss Monster felt the need to tackle this issue himself. "My own bodyguard, Galileo, is out looking for the perpetrators, so I will be protecting you in his absence."
