In the past i was not really confident about my art but with the praise and other feedback i got for my work made me improve and made it more fun. Before i started 3D models i used to draw everything from scratch which annoyed me to an extend ( because i don't want to practise anathomy for hours)and i was never satisfied, but now i feel motivated to draw more often. Some call using 3D models as cheating but i simply disagree. It's another tool to improve art.

The first wok i am proud of is my MC Brittany, though she has a dark side , which is typical for a slytherin, she is very dear to me. I think i made a good job with the green light. Looking at it today i would have drawn it differently.

Since i am an Ashwinder fan and appreciate Ashwinder Duelist (Davies) i needed to draw her with an cocky expression on a chair. It would be wise to give her all of your galleons. I attended a drawing contest with this piece. I didn't won but it got noticed from one of my favorite youtubers, which make me proud until today. Sometimes you have to celebrate the small things in life, right?

The last piece is Iago from Fire Emblem Fates. It’s one of my pieces where i used 3D models. Though he is an ass i found him strangely entertaining and he has a great aesthetic. I have to say that the character creators of fates , in my opinion, were incredibly talented. I am proud of this work because i managed to do a decent shading and his face to be similar to the offical art of him.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

My interpretation of what I think an ashwinder might look like

The days are getting longer, the temperature is heating up, and summer is here. With Voldemort now gone, it seems the Wizarding world can finally embrace summer for the first time in years, and all the joys that come along with it. In celebration of the newfound freedom, the Council has decided to truly celebrate the start of the Professional Quidditch season with a week-long festival, culminating in the first game of the season, The Montrose Magpies vs The Falmouth Falcons.

The opening game will be held at the Falmouth Quidditch Stadium, beginning on the 27TH OF JUNE, but the fun doesn’t start there! Beginning the preceding weekend, the first annual Quidditch Festival will take over the stadium and town. With games of chance and skill, to stalls filled with not only Quidditch memorabilia, but arts and crafts too, there’s something for the whole family!

Important Information:

This event will run for four weeks, from 20 JUNE at NOON EST- 13 JULY at NOON EST after which no new starters should be posted. However, any threads created during the event can, of course, continue

There will be themed sentence starters posted at the start of the event

If you have any suggestions for stalls and/or you would like to have your character be a part of running one, please let us know!

Quick Quaffle - Try your hand at dunking your favourite old quidditch stars by throwing the Quaffle at the target! Some of the best and brightest retired players are donating their time, so make sure you give it your best shot!

Bumper Brooms - Just like bumper cars, but magical! For safety reasons, all brooms have been enchanted to only fly four feet off the ground, at a slower pace, so all ages can play.

Egg and Spoon Race - You didn’t think it would really be that simple, did you? Hop on one of the provided brooms and race your friends to the finish line! But be careful, that’s not just any egg you’re carrying, that’s an Ashwinder egg. Make sure you get to the end before it explodes!

Inflatable Wizard Chess - Ever wanted to be part of your favourite board game? Well, here’s your chance. Put on one of the inflatable chess costumes and join your team in taking down the opponent!

Games Tent - After something a bit more traditional? We have you covered! Gobstones, Exploding Snap and regular Wizards Chess can all be found here!

Petting Zoo - Ever wanted to pet a kneazle or feed a hippogriff? The petting zoo is the place for you! With expert handlers on standby to make sure everything runs smoothly, there are a range of safety approved creatures to cuddle with

Arts and Crafts - Need a break from all the sports? London’s very own Arts and Crafts society has banded together to provide relief from all the noise and chaos with an array of different arts and crafts for you to try!

Costume Contest - Want to show your quidditch pride with flare? The last day of the festival will hold a costume contest, the chance to show your creativity in your fashion!

I bought Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them years ago, but the idea of doing something like this has only come up recently. I was suffering from a massive art block and I was desperate for ideas when I saw the book on my shelf out of the corner of my eye. I have always been a fan of the series and the variety of different creatures included in it. I also noticed how we don’t get to see many creatures in the movies, so I have decided to draw them! This has helped me so much in terms of creativity.

I present you the first drawing of this series (that could last months, considering how motivated I feel), the adorable little Ashwinder. According to FBAWTFT Ashwinders are created ‘when a magical fire is allowed to burn unchecked for too long’. A ‘magical fire’ is any fire to which a magical powder has been added, for example Floo Powder, hence the green-ish colour of the flame. The MOM class is a Ministry of Magic classification that shows how dangerous the creature can be. It can go up to five X. The Ashwinder is XXX, so it’s not particularly dangerous, but it can leave eggs, even though they only live for about an hour.

The only thing about this that is mine is the drawing, obviously the ideas belong to JK Rowling. I would massively appreciate it if this received even some attention because (even if it’s not of the greatest quality) this did take me about two hours to draw...
