requesting a platonic Toy Bonnie x Reader !!

night guard y/n that so happens to become friends with a very egocentric sky blue bunny

at first y/n finds him to be pretty annoying, always talking about himself and how cool he is

but after a while, they become friends, cracking jokes with each other and being little shits together

🐰|You aren’t really sure what to expect when getting the job—having to protect yourself is one thing, dealing with a bunny with a massive ego is another.|✨

🐰|Your first night on the job is... pretty frustrating—but you don’t initially do anything. You just ignore, wind the music box, and put the mask on.|✨

🐰|Night 2 however... you just feel frustrated from it. When he enters the office partway through the night, you insult him. He’s so upset, he doesn’t bother you/enter the office for the rest of the night.|✨

🐰|Night 3... he’s still sad, but trying to cheer himself up, as you witness through the cameras, and feel bad for your outburst.|✨

🐰|You aren’t sure what to do—but you end up running out of the office, finding a plush... but you feel too nervous to get close—so he’s suddenly thrown a plushie. With a “sorry”, you hurry back.|✨

At the sound of loud, mechanical footsteps coming from the hallway, you set the monitor down, and turn on the flashlight.

You’re greeted with the sight of the bunny—not Withered Bonnie, no—Toy Bonnie. You know the animatronics can’t emote very well, but there’s something in his eyes.

Rather than put the mask on, you leave it on the desk, simply watching as the bunny fully entered the office, getting in front of your office.

In one hand, he’s holding the plushie. In the other, he’s holding his guitar. “Play me a song.” You suddenly say.

“Huh?” The bunny blinks.

“Play me a song... please.” You repeat. “I’ve heard you play. You sound nice.”

He blinks again, before a little giggle escapes the rabbit. “Well, of course I do! I’m great! I figured you had to like it... everybody does.”

🐰|After the previous nights, and even after you apologized, you did not think that you’d become friends—or for him to start giving you nicknames.|✨

🐰|He thinks of himself as a superstar, and occasionally, he’ll call you one—or a rockstar. Or bunny related ones. Honey, too. Point is... he gives you a few.|✨

🐰|Toy Bonnie does seem to tone down a little bit when around you.|✨

🐰|He’ll start sitting in the office with you when you’re on your shift—but he still gets confused by the mask like the others.|✨

🐰|You put it on to get rid of Toy Chica, and he’s sitting there like: “Freddy??” and then you take it off, and he just scoffs, waving a hand, and is like, “I knew it was you! Can’t fool little old me.”|✨

🐰|Toy Bonnie tends to share gossip with you. He’ll head into your office, and just start sharing something he heard/witnessed during the daytime.|✨

🐰|You start sharing things with him, too. Just whatever you think would be interesting enough. He sits there listening... gasps and is like, “Nuh-uh!” “Uh-huh!”|✨

🐰|You give him a few joke nicknames—you just love seeing how Toy Bonnie will react. You called him Alvin once.|✨

🐰|Occasionally, Toy Bonnie will play you more songs during your shift—especially if nothing is really happening, and you’re bored.|✨

🐰|The others usually have to deal with Toy Bonnie just talking about himself—and he’s still doing that, but now, he talks about himself and his new friend.|✨

🐰|You both start messing with the other animatronics with the mask. One night, you felt bored, and started switching the mask between yourself and Toy Bonnie.|✨

🐰|Both Toy Chica and Withered Bonnie entered, and you both kept wearing it... or, Toy Bonnie was placing it in front of himself. It still worked—they could not recognize him.|✨

🐰|Once and a while, Toy Bonnie starts trying to give you guitar lessons.|✨

i know a lot of people hate the toy animatronics' designs but i love them. they ooze "early 2000s kiddycore" and are probably the thing in the series that reminds me the most of chuck e cheese
