Umm if you have study tips can u share them? Im literally gonna fail upcoming exam I feel it in my boobs 😭

In your WHAT!? lmao😭 I was malfunctioning after reading that💀 anyways....

So, the thing is that I wasn't very consistent during my college years tbh💀 like I didn't study everyday for couple of hours as most of the people suggests but still, I achieved a pretty good grade and was on the list of top students when I graduated (I graduated last year)

So, if you're thinking you're gonna fail, you are WRONG. I believe you can still make it!

So, what I did was, I used some study techniques. Which was -

Pomodoro method - well, I think it's pretty common now days. Every other student know about this I think? Basically, you study for half an hour *based you attention span because if it's short, you probably won't be able to focus for that long AT FIRST* then take 10 minutes of break and again continue it. I did it and my attention span grow much better after doing it a few times!

Warning: do not use social media or any other things where you can be distracted easily while you're on a break. Take a walk or listen to music or any other relaxing thing where you brain can adjust to the information you just consumed.

Music: music is something I listen to everyday and it helped me soooo much during my exams! NOT ANY CATCHY SONGS AND DEFINITELY NOT BTS OR KPOP🚫 do not listen to the songs to which you can dance, WE AREN'T HERE TO DANCE! we are here to study. When I said music, I meant instrumental and classic one! Listen to ambient music, piano mixed with rain sounds which will help to focus on your tast. There are some Gama sounds or something on YouTube I listened to, I don't remember💀 but listen to the music where you won't be distracted and your brain will be relaxed and help you to calm yourself so that you can focus more. Whenever I panicked about 'oh no I don't have time' or 'i won't be able to complete it' I just put some classic instrumental music on shuffle and immediately my mind relaxed. It was so helpful!

Focus: Now, ofcourse you know that you have to focus but you just.... can't, right? Yeah, that happened to me too! But, a little amount of focus right now can maybe make your life better. Maybe, if you get good grades you'll be able to go to your desired uni or your dream job or your life will be so good! I'm not saying that your grades can decide your future but what's so harmful about trying and giving your best, right? You know what you have to do to focus, hide your phone or any other distractions bla bla bla.... Everyone knows but no one applies because our brain can't let us, so tell me, why you're letting your brain control your actions? Wouldn't you be the one who will control your brain instead?

Remember, your little efforts today can make your tomorrow better.

Lastly, don't stress yourself out. Don't pressure yourself much. Don't worry. It'll be okay. The more you think 'Oh I'll fail' or 'I can't make it' or 'I don't have enough time' it will menifest in real life, instead focus on the tasks you have in-hand right now, make a strategy, devide those chapters, put some small challenges for yourself like 'I will complete this chapter in ____ amount of time' and focus on completing it and reward yourself afterwards with some food or a break.

Also, never forget to take proper amount of sleep. Let your brain rest and consume those knowledge you just pour into it all together because, now if I make you eat some food forceful and don't give you proper time to digest, you will have digestive problems or gas or even worse. Your brain is just like that. It needs nurturing just like any other part of your body.

Lastly drink water to keep yourself hydrated and eat your meals because if you don't even have nutrients and minerals in your body, how it will function properly? Then also, you brain won't be able to work.

So take care of yourself, focus, study and believe in yourself! I know you can do it.😊

While Jo would pick up a lot of skills with the goal of self-sustenance, one thing she struggled with a bit was cooking. She didn't dislike the taste of foods that took longer to make, just that she hated having to spend an extensive amount of time making a meal. Every now and then, she'd even get a bit bored and distracted while making a dish and would set off the smoke alarm.

Cher's favorite item at the Golden Griddle is the build-your-own chicken sandwich, topped with extra American cheese. The way Rita and Greg make the crispy chicken patty is just on point. She frequently requests it for dinner at home.

Jo, being the adventurous type of little kid at the time, once tried coffee when she was in preschool. She was one of the rare kids to actually like it. Her parents allowed her to try it that one time, but after that they told her she'd have to wait about 8-10 more years.

IDK if this counts as more of an Evie headcanon, but once during a get-together, Evie introduced Cher to a combination of strawberry and chocolate milk, mixing both kinds of syrups into the milk. Cher loved it so much that it became her new favorite drink, and she made sure it became a menu item at the Golden Griddle.

Jo enjoys drinking alcohol, albeit only at parties + wine at dinner. It also takes a while for it to start having an effect on her.

Cher, along with Rory, Bear, Skye, and occasionally Erin, get into recreational weed/smoking. Granted, they don't really do it excessively, and usually save it for when they're in a very good mood.

For most of her life, Jo had dark brown, long, wavy hair. She only got it cut and bleached just at the end of her junior year of high school.

Cher loves old-fashioned hairstyles and insists on having an old-fashioned hairdo pretty much almost every time she goes to a formal event, even if the formalwear itself is a more modern style.

Scott Fitzgerald stole Zelda Fitzgerald’s work and published it as his own and I was like, “if I was a woman in the 20s I would simply never get married… and starve to death of course but at least I would have my fiction.” And then my friend was like, yeah you’re Jo March.

I think I also really relate in the sense of like my art coming second to my duties and obligations to others.

My dream is to go to New York at Christmas time though (I wanna see the big tree so baddd)

2. I cannot leave my keyboard!! i once was not able to use my laptop or phone and had this idea of a joon drabble so i wrote like 2 pages of it by hand and then later added it to my doc (it's for his bday btw) but I'm never doing it again 😭

9. I don't mainly believe in ghosts but i believe in spirits i guess? it's not that scary or horror movies way tho... kinda spiritual?

13. Okay so I have not explored that much with my writing but it's hard for me to write detailed factual conversations or sometimes if you may say, practical? they tend to turn emotional and i need to work on it if i wanna widen my spectrum!!

I am not kidding! i just get the inspiration or the idea randomly, i open the doc and start the opening lines immediately and then it goes on with the flow!! i have just once made a timeline for a fic but i changed it like a million times!! but yeah i have an idea of where i wanna go so it works!

30. Again, there is no role of dreams in my writing!! i remember almost none of my dreams and the ones i remember allude to a one of my close ones dying?? and i have not yet took inspo from them.

You wouldn’t call your relationship a secret.

Honestly, you were pretty sure you and Haseul have been very obvious especially with how comfortable she was with you around her members. The initial introduction had been a little out of nowhere since Jinsol and Chaewon both spotted the two of you during one of Loona’s breaks.

You had been on a date and the other pair, coincidentally, ended up in the same place you and their leader were at.

Out of curiosity, they approached her and asked who you were, which then resulted in them gushing about you to the rest of the members by the time they came back to the dorms. This then prompted Yeojin to complain about not meeting Haseul’s best friend first and soon demanded to meet you in a childish and playful little rant.

You had to admit, you were a little nervous meeting so many people at once. While Jiwoo, Yerim, and Heejin were very welcoming of your presence, Hyeju’s stare and Yeojin’s glare made you a little nervous. It wasn’t until Haseul told them to cut it out did the pair finally let up and finally interrogate you, wanting to know who exactly you were to their leader.

You hit it off with all eleven of them pretty well.

Kahei was more than happy to meet you, understanding your struggles when you had first moved to South Korea, and Haseul was glad that you were comfortable with her members since she was afraid they might scare you off with their slightly overwhelming personalities.

“When is Y/n unnie coming over again?” Haseul looked up in confusion when Hyunjin walked into her room. It wasn’t as though you weren’t welcome, in fact, the girls always looked forward to your visits with how much happier the leader looked and with how you always made sure to look after them.

You were fun, Sooyoung stated and began to tease the leader by saying you balanced each other out.

Haseul’s rebuttal was that she was a fun person, too. You were just ten times more energetic than she was.

“She was literally here two days ago.” Your girlfriend giggled while putting the shirt she was folding on her lap. “Why?” The cat pouted at her answer and shook her head. “I want to go out.” She replies and Haseul’s expression softens. “We have a groupchat with her in it and you have her number, too.”

But Hyunjin only pouted more and Haseul had to playfully roll her eyes at her antics.

“Fine, let me see if she’s not busy today.”

You weren't, but she did get a kick out of pranking some of the members by saying that you wouldn't be able to visit until the weekend. She swears that this was the most Yeojin's thrown a tantrum and Yerim all but pouts at the idea of not seeing you sooner.

Even Hyeju had tried to coax her into convincing you to drop by.

And by the time you were at their doorstep, Jungeun happily pulled you inside, grinning as Haseul was on her way to see you.

"I thought you said she wasn't coming!" Heejin yelled in disbelief and you raise a brow at your girlfriend before she starts giggling again. "I was just kidding."

"Yah! I almost made plans!" Yeojin complained and you grin while throwing an arm around Haseul's shoulders. "You're free to head out. I'll just be keeping your leader company." You tease, making the maknae pout at you while you laugh and pinch her cheek. “Come on, I’m pretty sure you girls will only have me go home when you want to.”

It wasn’t the first time you had to stay over, anyway.

“Really?” Jiwoo squealed, perking up from her place before Kahei placed a hand on her back to calm her down. “I’m sure Y/n will be busy, too, so don’t pressure her.” You smile appreciatively at the eldest before waving a hand. “It’s alright, unnie. I’m free for the time being, so you girls can keep me around as long as you want tonight.”

“Are you sure?” Haseul intervened, looking a little worried as her hand landed on your arm. She didn’t want you to stay just to appease her members. “Don’t worry, my work’s almost done for the week so I have time.” Her heart skips a beat with the tenderness in your gaze and she has to tear her gaze away just so you wouldn’t catch her blushing.

When they finally settle down after the initial excitement, you find yourself between Jinsol, Yerim, and Yeojin, the three of them pulling you along to check the video they took not too long ago to ask you for your input. Since they found out you were good at editing, they often came to you when it came to their vlogs and Loona kick videos.

“How did you do that?" Jinsol asked, astonished when she played the video back to see the transition you added. "It's a little trick I picked up on before. The light distracts your eyes so you don't notice the change." You tell them, playing the video by frame for them to see. "Woah, you're awesome unnie!" Yerim cheered happily, clapping her hands in delight as Yeojin tried to experiment on this new information you've given them.

Haseul watched with a fond smile as you continued to teach the girls a few more editing tricks before she felt the couch dip. And when she turned her head, she spotted Jungeun sitting casually beside her.

“Y/n unnie is really great. I’m glad you have a friend like her outside the group.” She’s a little surprised and tries to correct her friend, however Jungeun continued. “I know that things have been rough for you unnie, but I think I can speak for the rest of the girls that we’re all happy to know someone’s there to take care of you.”

“Oh, that’s really nice but Y/n and I-”

There’s a sudden crash somewhere else in the dorm and Haseul shoots up on instinct, alarmed, just like you as you rush to the general direction of where the sound had come from. To your surprise, you find Hyunjin and Sooyoung looking like owls with their eyes wide open and hands raised in the air. Jiwoo was already scolding them, but you decide to check if anyone was injured while Chaewon grabbed the broom to sweep the broken pieces of whatever the hell it was that broke.

“What happened?”

And honestly, Haseul ends up forgetting to correct Jungeun about your relationship, again.

“I’d like to say we’ve been pretty obvious around them.” Haseul comments with her feet propped up on your lap and you give her an incredulous look that makes her laugh before shoving your arm in a playful manner. “Those girls have seen me give you kisses much more than a friend usually does.”

“They’re oblivious.” You raise a brow and she has to roll her eyes. “You know the stereotypical saying that we can be oblivious? Yeah, that’s them.”

You burst out laughing at her claim and she can’t help but join you, pushing your shoulder in an attempt to stop you, but there was no denying her giggles either. “Stop it, I’m serious!” She tells you, but that only makes you laugh harder. “I’m sorry but I cannot believe you just said that, about your members no less.” You say in between giggles and she just smiles at how adorable you look before leaning in to give you a peck on the lips.

That effectively calms you down to look at your girlfriend and she merely smiled before cupping your cheek. “You’re so lucky you’re cute.” She murmurs and your nose crinkles a little when she comes closer. “I’m sorry to say, but you’re the cute one here.” You retort and she doesn’t know how many times she’s rolled her eyes at you within that hour nor does she care when she bridges the gap between you and shuts you up once more.

There’s something about her kisses that’s always so intoxicating because you can never seem to stop as soon as her lips are on yours.

Even when her breathing grows heavy and the small noises that she makes when you begin to nip at the skin of her neck, she lets you have more before pulling your face back up to crush your lips together in a needy and slightly messy kiss.

You’re both so caught up in each other, pulling the other closer, you don’t hear the door opening until there’s a gasp and a strangled sound coming from one of the people entering the room.

Haseul is quick to pull back and you’re snapped out of your dazed state as soon as you find Sooyoung and Hyeju standing at the door with wide eyes, Jinsol standing right behind them and almost in a similar state.

“What the hell is going on here?” Sooyoung all but shrieks, looking absolutely scandalized while your face flushes. “Since when were you- You guys are-” Hyeju can’t even form a proper sentence with how shocked she is, but maybe if she found out with better circumstances, she’d be able to say something coherent.

This wasn’t one of those circumstances however.

Which was how you soon found yourselves surrounded by the rest of Loona in their living room. Despite Haseul being the “mom” of the group, it was a little amusing to see… if you weren’t also bowing your head in embarrassment with her.

“So you guys have been together all this time?” Jiwoo asked, astonished and Haseul rubs the back of her neck, looking a little sheepish. “I mean it’s not like we’ve been hiding it.” She mumbles and Kahei’s eyes grow a little wider, wider compared to when she first found out that you and the leader were dating.

“Wait, wait, wait, how long has this been going on?” Hyunjin asks for everyone, because they honestly should have noticed something but it looked like all of them were on the same boat as her and not a single one was aware of the relationship.

Glancing at each other, you decided to answer this time. “We just reached a year when Jinsol and Gowon saw us.” You shrug and there’s a collective gasp from the group, and again, you would have laughed if this was any other circumstances.

“A year?!”

“You’ve been hiding her from us for a year?” Kahei asked, astounded with how Haseul was able to keep the secret for so long. But then again, they all had things that they kept to themselves out of their own comfort, so she doesn’t exactly blame her for wanting to keep it private.

But neither you nor Haseul were even keeping it private.

“You guys really didn’t know?” Your girlfriend asks this time and Yeojin snorts a little. “That’s why we’re asking, unnie!” She can’t help stressing a little, but when you give the room another once over, you can clearly see that none of the girls looked as though they had an issue with your relationship.

The only issue was that you had, in their eyes, been hiding from them.

“Honestly, we couldn’t tell. You guys just looked like really close friends.” Heejin comments and Haseul can’t help but laugh before giving you a look. “I told you.” The rest of the girls are confused while you only roll your eyes and smile. “I see that now.”

“What?” Hyeju asks confusedly and you hold yourself from laughing too much before answering. “Haseul told me you guys were as dense as bricks when it came to romance and you’ve pretty much proven her right.”

There’s a chorus of disagreements around and you just raise your hands in defense.

“No, it’s true. I mean look how long it took for Chuu unnie and Yves unnie to actually realize they liked each other.” Chaewon piped up, causing the pair’s face to redden before the leader of yyxy threw a pillow at her. “Yah!”

“Jinsol unnie and Lip unnie too!” Yerim shouted, only to run away when Jungeun shot her a glare, though the younger girl knew well enough just how much the sixth girl was pining after Jinsol during their promotions for Butterfly.

When everyone starts with their usual banter again, forgetting why you were all gathered in the living room in the first place, you and Haseul exchange a look and smile to yourselves before quietly slipping back to her room.

She makes sure the door is locked so that you don’t get interrupted in case you get caught up in the moment again.

Summary: Following your coming out, you feel so free and happy to be yourself. In your reverie, you recollect how ecstatic your best friend Neon was and the celebratory feast she took you out for. What says I love you more than food, after all.

In all honesty, Neon was your rock. The person you ran to when you felt scared. The person you sought whenever you needed a second opinion. The person who motivated you and encouraged you as you faced yourself and spoke your truth to the base. She’s your best friend, your hype-man and your inspiration all in one. None could really defy your bond, from teammates to enemies. You were a force to be reckoned with together.

You’d never felt better as you finally embraced and donned the identity of the man you were meant to be, and it was all because of her. Her unwavering loyalty and never-ending support of you as who you truly are. She was the first person you confided in, of course she was. She was and still is your best friend and you needed her support then more than ever. As you wrung your hands in front of you nervously, she had simply raised an eyebrow, her tone light-hearted in an attempt to calm you down,

“Hoy, bes, (Hey, best friend,*) what’s wrong? Overheard something about Viper you shouldn’t have? C’mon, kumusta ka na? (What’s up?*)” She had a gentle smile on her face despite the joking tone in her voice. She’d gotten increasingly worried, a fact she confided in you afterward with a laugh, but trusted you would tell her what’s wrong when you were ready,

“Tala I…” you started with a waver, but steel yourself. She gave you an attentive, patient nod as she waited for you to continue. She let you take your time, to find your words and sort your feelings enough to speak without a wobble. In the end, the coming out, albeit maybe clumsy, is sweet and heartfelt. Neon holds nothing but admiration for you as she asks for your new name. You swear the first time she refers to you as Y/N, you almost cried. She’s rather thorough in her research, mildly nervous as she tiptoes around asking Sage about the subject- not wanting to carelessly spill what you had so carefully confided.

From trips to the mall for any new clothes you wished for, to new haircuts to fit any newfound sense of style or contouring to help you feel more confident, to gifting you a good quality binder just in case, out of worry you may be hurting yourself. She’s always looking out for you on all fronts. Gods forbid someone tries to hurt you because of your identity. In passing conversation, you admit you were slightly scared that she would end your friendship. She’s wide-eyed at the presumption- shaking her head, 

“Why be friends with someone if you’re not gonna like them as who they really are. Sounds kinda stupid in my opinion,” were her only words of wisdom on the topic, a shared laugh following.

And now you were here living your best life on base, and you’ve never felt happier. You were free to express yourself how you wished, gaining confidence and security from both friends and you just feeling great in general from this newfound freedom. From Phoenix jokingly finger-gunning you with a “Looking good, handsome!” to the loud, mildly overwhelming support from Raze as she offered to set off some fireworks (and maybe a few other not-OSHA-approved explosives) to celebrate.

Though, none compared to Neon’s own heart-warming celebration. That was a memory you could never erase, not that you’d ever really want to. You could still recall it in clear detail; it was nearing evening and Tala had made some off-hand comments about going out soon to eat to mark the day off. Good food was always a nice bow to tie off a great day.

Tala practically dragged you to the restaurant, with you slightly struggling to keep up despite her not using her High Gear, only slowing down a tad with a bashful apology when you tugged her arm- mildly out of breath. As you settled in the restaurant, only slightly surprised she had a reservation, she was quick to start listing out the food she wanted.

Staring at the table, you’re pretty sure you have a whole feast. The Duelist walks you through it, her eyes lighting up at a few personal favourites of hers. There’s fresh, crispy lumpia, bowls for the piping hot sinigang and steaming rice, another bigger bowl for the warm kare-kare, fried bangus, hearty chicken Tinola and some more plates and dishes for whatever Neon decided was necessary.

The electrical radiant pauses as some pancit arrives at the table. A small and simple yet filling dish. It’s a small portion given what you’d just eaten, but there’s something different about the way Neon wants to show you the dish. She’s almost nervous as she hesitates,

“Hey uh…” she gestures to the plate and pushes it a little in your direction, “This is pancit. It’s a staple celebratory food, especially on birthdays because it symbolises long life. And I know it’s not your birthday but it’s a special day for you and you look the happiest I've ever seen you be. I… I want to commemorate it,” she’s looking away a slight, suddenly shy but you smile at her, trembly and slightly watery from the way you’re tearing up,

“Thank you, Tala. I really appreciate it,” you spoke with a slight sniffle, a few stray tears already falling from not only how kind the gesture was but how far her efforts went for you. Looking back at your expression, her eyes widen a slight,

“H-Hey, hey, no waterworks! This is meant to be a happy occasion, diba? (*right?)” she shakes her head but she’s smiling all the same, relieved. With Neon urging you, you finally grab some rice noodles. However, she’s quick to stop you from breaking the noodles,

“The long life thing doesn’t work if you break them! Each noodle’s long which is where the whole thing came from. If you cut it, you’re cutting off your blessings. And with our kind of jobs, I’d like to keep you around a lot longer. I hate making new friends,” you laugh at the last part, something Tala can’t help but join before you get a better grip on the rice noodles.

You nudge neon a little, waving your fork as you gesture for her to do the same,

“If I’m gonna be living longer, I wanna live longer with my best friend, Y’know? I ain’t having you die on me,” you joke as the radiant laughs a little, nodding her head,

“Well, I’m not planning on leaving you here without me. Who else’s gonna tell you you look bad before we go out?” You’re both smiling and giggling as you clumsily clink your forks in a toast and a promise.

A promise to kick ass together forever and have each other’s backs till the very end.

I don't know if you remember this, but you're the one who encouraged me (gave me the push) to share my first piece of writing ever. You were taking requests for ts lyrics, and I talked to you, then you convinced me to give it a try, and that's when I wrote my first fanfuc ever, based on "you drew stars around my scars but now I'm bleeding". I would've never written anything like that if it wasn't for you! (How crazy is that? And amazing!!!!!!). It may not have been great, but it definitely helped me to improve my writing! That's when I realized how much emotion I can put in a story! So I owe you a huge thank you!!!! (Also the fact that I remember every single detail? Never mind).

Not to mention, what a great friend you've been and still are. You can't possibly imagine how much you helped me. Every ask you sent, every time we talked, every post I've read, it's been wonderful, and yes, I am grateful for it! ☕ + folklore long pond studio sessions, the concept of time and chocolate!

Hey Jo! Thanks for the ask.

Folklore Long Pond - I love it all! The audio (which I'm so glad we got to stream), the little talky bits, the visuals and the vibe with Jack and Aaron. I desperately wish there had been evermore long pond sessions too.

The concept of time - it's all confusing! I read a great BBC article about why we feel time passes differently depending on what's happening. It made me consider how to feel like I was making the most of my time without feeling like I never get any rest.

Chocolate - I like chocolate, but it doesn't like me! It gives me migraines so I only eat small amounts. I love twixes though and got some bargain Easter eggs today at the supermarket 😁. Overall, I'm more a savoury snacker though ... which is probably lucky!
