Goku is not asexual and here is why:

This post is going to prove why Goku is not asexual, and DOES get laid (with his waifu). He is probably just trolling everyone when he acts like he doesn't know (in the same way he just transforms into SSJ4 or SSJ3 while trolling everyone who does not know yet.)

Is Goku aromantic? Maybe. Is Goku asexual? Definitely not.

Let's start.

Goku getting to know Trunks is a result of a sexual story between Vegeta and Bulma. Goku is shocked by the fact that Bulma might have opened her legs to Vegeta, and he makes it clear in every possible way lol

2. Goku and Chi-Chi with blatant sexual tension shortly after he recovers. It's evident that Goku and Chi-Chi are implying a sexual promise here - after Gohan's training...

3. ....aaand Goku leaving Gohan "playing with Dende" to get laid for a few days with his waifu. Honestly, this ties back to the promise made earlier, where it's clear that Goku wants to spend quality time with Chi-Chi - without his son - before probably dying.

4. Goku asking Crillin how the F did he conceived with an Android. The fact that Goku is so shocked and honest about it instantly shows how he's thinking STRAIGHT up about the sexual side of things. Not like "how did you guys fall in love?" or "How did she become so nice?". No, it's the "how the hell did you guys procreated?". I mean, literally only a (naive) perv would ask a question like that.

5. Goku offering naked pictures of Bulma to old Kai. What we have to say here? Goku pimping Bulma in front of Vegeta. Trolling and winning.

6. Goku straight noticing Bulma's boobs when he teleports. This scene is one of the most blatant. When he looks at his old friend Bulma half-naked, the first thing he looks at is her boobs.

7. Goku and Jaco talking about Bulma's (saggy) boobs. I so love the fact that right after Jaco's gone - Goku directly asks to Bulma if the rumor is true.

8. Goku realizing Beerus is getting aroused by Cheelai. I actually love this scene - not only because Beerus has a type, but also because both Vegeta and Goku AT THE SAME TIME are shocked because of Beerus sexual arousal. Epic and hilarious.

9. Goku trolling everyone not knowing what a kiss is. I know this is maybe an incorrect translation from the original, but even if it was real, it would be such a troll move from Goku. I mean look at his look when he sees Mai and Trunks:

10. Goku patting everyone genitals because he wanted to discover the world (and didn't have proper manners). In OG dragon ball Goku basically patted everyone's genitals without any consideration. Which means he was basically discovering his and the opposite sex as a kid, as a normal functioning sexual being.

So yeah guys Goku is not asexual, stop playing on him ‘bout that.

Hey Bahn, how would the Sentos react to seeing ssj4 Goku and Vegeta? I just realized the monke potential of this.

The Sentos would love seeing their folk tale of it in person. It's described as an "exalted form" because of the person being able to self-tame their Oozaru form without an outside factor aid along with having super saiyan.

If you look at it from either side of the coin, Sentos possess the natural ability to turn into the Oozaru but don't know super saiyan or how to regain their consciousness organically. Them lacking those two feats is what makes SSJ4 to them as revered as it's more in their realm of a being who's mastered (control).

Plus Sento kids would try to replicate it by smearing red coloring on their fur to replicate the coat color.

Sort of a follow up to my Kiryu ask from the other day. Which is your favorite look for Goku? I have a lot and I mean a lot a lot of thoughts but if I had to REALLY narrow it down to one and pick a fave Buu Saga Halo SSJ3 Goku it really feels like the peak of how Z treats Goku as the win condition when it comes to being the one to save the day.

But close 2nd to SSJ2 Goku fighting Majin Vegeta because that was LITERALLY just foreplay and edging for Vegekak, I know they had crazy sex the second Kid Buu after was spirit bombed

Gonna have to say cell games ssj goku to be honest though bc like something about him…..love how calculated and sinister he is and also he’s my bombshell blond princess. I think I didn’t vibe with it at first because I couldn’t find many good fics in my language. That was until I found some good ones on Ao3.

What I love most about this ship is how “versatile” it is—you can ship them in their normal forms, as Super Saiyans, and best of all, their hottest form: SSJ4 ❤️‍🔥

Super Dragon Ball Heroes Episode 50

The finale of the Supreme Kai of Time arc finally came out a few weeks ago, so let's wrap up my liveblog of it.

Just so we're all up to speed, I covered Episodes 41 through 49 here , here, and here. But if you're not in the mood to read that: this arc introduces Aeos, the previous Supreme Kai of Time, who has now returned to take back the position from Chronoa. Aeos believes that there are too many alternate timelines now, and Chronoa's refusal to deal with them has only made things worse, so Aeos and her four attendants take over the Time Nest to resolve the problem instead. Aeos's solution is to hold a big tournament with warriors from different timelines, and the losing teams get their timeline erased.

This all gets thrown into chaos when Demigra shows up, having recently gained a power boost from the Dark King energy once held by Fu. I'm not sure if this was just a coincidence, or if Demigra somehow manipulated the Aeos/Chronoa dispute to his advantage. Anyway, he tries to seize control of the Time Nest and destroy all the fighters who oppose him, which culminates in this climactic beam struggle against Goku, Bardock, and Future Gohan.

Just so we're clear, the Bardock and Future Gohan we see here are variants from other timelines, recruited by Aeos to serve as her attendants. Bardock was the "Hooded Saiyan" who occasionally helped Goku during the previous arc. Gohan hails from a world where Trunks died fighting 17 and 18, while he survived.

Anyway, the Father-Son-Grandson Kamehameha ends with Bardock daring the boys to push even harder, which leads to Bardock turning SSJ4, Goku going Ultra Instinct (again), and Gohan turning SSJ2. This overwhelms Demigra and he dies.

However, before Demigra is beaten, Aeos and Chronoa have this nice little reconciliation where Aeos points out that Demigra only got this far because of the multitude of alternate timelines. Even if he's defeated, some other menace will just rise up to replace him. She asks Chronoa how she can continue to support sparing the timelines if this is true, and Chronoa replies that a lot of good has come from the alternate timelines as well, and she's willing to trust the heroes to rise to the occasion. Then they hold hands and do some sort of time stuff, which might have helped tip the scales against Demigra, but I don't know. When it's all over, they use the Scroll of Eternity to restore everything to the way it was before Demigra attacked.

Goku is satisfied with this outcome, but he has one last bit of business to discuss with Aeos: Goku wants the Super Space-Time Tournament to be restarted, since he never got to finish his match with Xeno Goku earlier in the arc. Aeos agrees, and this time it's just an exhibition, with the fighters who still want to fight having 1v1 matches with no brackets.

We get some brief glimpses of the other matches, like Piccolo vs. Pikkon, Master Roshi vs. Grandpa Gohan, and so on, but none of these amount to anything. This episode spent a decent two minutes re-telling the beam struggle from Episode 49, which could have been used to show a little more of the cool fights they teased instead.

Credit where it's due, Goku vs. Xeno Goku actually gets some time, and there's some cool spots, like SSJ4 Goku trying to use a Warp Kamehameha on UI Goku, only for UI to try to float over to avoid it. Then 4ku snares him with his tail, but UI-ku is still too nimble to be trapped for long.

As everyone watches, Aoes reflects on how Goku impressed her, and I think the implication is that Goku's the one who convinced her not to erase the other timelines, at least for the time being. Then there's a credits sequence, like this is a big finale, but it's not.

They do the finish of the Goku/Vegeta fight from DBS: Super Hero, and it's UI Goku who wins. Sound booking, but I wish they could have come up with a different way to end it. I mean, Aeos's tournament was already a rip-off of the Tournament of Power, and Demigra's invasion was just a retread of his invasion in Xenoverse 1, and now this. It's tough to find anything really fresh in this story.

With the match settled, Aeos announces that she'll be leaving again to survey the alternate timelines for herself. She says she wants to re-check everything to re-evaluate her decision, and warns Chronoa that if she finds she had it right the first time, she'll be back to erase everything like she intended. Chronoa seems to accept this. Maybe she's confident that Aeos will see things her way, or maybe it's just that Chronoa has no choice. This arc suggests that Chronoa cannot, or will not, challenge Aeos' authority. I guess with Aeos leaving, Chronoa is reinstated as Supreme Kai of Time, but they never explained why Aeos left the job in the first place, or what claim she had to take it back. There's a lot of unanswered questions in all of this.

Aeos's four attendants will be joining her on her new mission, including Vidros, who proposed to Yamcha during the tournament. So what about that? Well, it turns out Vidros can't marry Yamcha right away. Her people have a tradition that says she can't marry until she reaches a certain age, which is still a dozen centuries away. So she intends to go with Aeos and return for Yamcha 1200 years from now. D'oh!

This did not go over well with the fandom, who were pretty hyped for the idea of Yamcha getting the girl. I think we all knew that there'd be some kind of catch. They weren't going to marry off an established character in a web series for crying out loud. I choose to look at this in a positive light. Yamcha's still got a fiance. And just because she has to wait 1200 years doesn't mean that he has to wait the same amount of time. Aeos might do her a solid and bring her back to the present day so she can still marry Yamcha during his natural lifespan.

At least Vidros had some sort of character arc in this story. I have no idea what this alternate version of Piccolo was supposed to be about. He just shares some meaningful looks with Gohan and that's it. Future Gohan says goodbye to Xeno Trunks, Bardock takes a last look at his son, and they all head out.

I seriously wondered if Episode 50 was going to be the finale for the entire web-series, since this arc seemed to wrap up the last plot threads of the whole show. Most of SDBH was about Fu's rise to prominence, and then he got defeated with the help of Demigra and Aeos's team, who settled all of their business in this arc. So this seemed like a pretty good stopping point, but no. There's an Episode 51, which promises a whole new arc that will probably take another two years to finish. I guess Super Dragon Ball Heroes will be around for a while longer.

And I'll probably cover those future story arcs one of these days, but this seems like a good place to stop for now. It's a lot more satisfying to watch this show several episodes at a time, and it'll be at least a year before we're far enough along to make this worth my time. But we'll see how it goes.

Upon seeing that, I out-loud said "OUGH thats a tough one."

vegeta (it has to be. he's my OG favorite)

Goku (i used to hate goku and gohan actually, but at some point my brain finished growing and i realized they, but especially Goku, are great)

Krillin (controversial, perhaps, but i just love how brave he is. and how unserious and cute he was in ogdb)

Bulma (i feel like i should apologize to her for putting her so low, so sorry queen but i still love her)

adult Trunks (is this legal? 2 for 1? but i mean mirai and GT trunks. I love him when he's slightly more mature than end of Z or in super)

15. Do you have any favorite ships (canon or otherwise)?

I like to pretend im not predictable, but its kakavege. it so is. I cant say i have hardly any ships i dont like (other than goku/bulma and trumai. sorry). but their particular brand of insanity about each other and eventual closeness just makes me AUGH

18. What is your opinion of GT?

GT is really slow in the beginning, which I think is what has people sick of it by the time you get to the Baby arc? The plot doesn't suffer if you skip to like, episode 19 or so, but the opening screwing around on random planets is one of my favorite parts of the show. Ssj4 is exceedingly cool, naturally, but i also just love little goku. I think thats one of the strengths of GT, little menace Goku, but he still distinctly feels older and wiser. It also just loves to drop like, emotionally devastating tidbits or smaller scenes and just hustle past. (also K18 is the crux of the last two arcs)

SubsGT and DubbedGT are entirely different shows, however, at least to me. DubGT reeeeally wants to be a successor to Z, with powerscaling and all, but subsGT is much more set up as a successor to OGDB. If my memory serves, they really shift a lot for the dub.

All and all though, I think its a really good ending to dragon ball, honestly, with all its flaws included.

20. If you could hang out with one character, who would it be?

Bulma. she's gonna talk my ear off about science I absolutely don't get, but I'd ask her to show me her motorcycles and bum a cig, and maybe get to pet Scratch :)

24. If you could write your own episode, what would it be about? 

Now this was the inbox holdup, thonking as hard as possible. Ive always got a few things i'd love to have spawn in as a fully formed episode; a flashback deal with Vegeta and Raditz actually interacting, maybe Goku on Yadarat, but I was successfully influenced by Shannon's posts this week, and Im going GT beach episode.

As in, the full group beach meetup that GT alludes to with the pictures, but doesnt SHOW. i always need more grandpa goku with toddler Pan, and especially the aftermath of goten and trunks doing a sand sculpture around napping Vegeta.

like, vegeta's got an ice cream cone back there. how can i resist the allure of beach episode?

Older! Pan, Bulla, and Marron redesigns. The GT designs are genuinely the most insane, criminal, cookie cut designs I've ever seen (Bulla especially they need to be locked up for that expeditiously) Excluding SSJ4, The Tuffles, Giru, Super Android 17, and both Nova Shenron and Omega Shenron, that whole show was a hot fuckin mess with no other redeeming aspects

Anyways, details on the designs are below

Pan: her design was actually the best of the 3 in GT imo, I decided to keep the general idea of her design but give her a punk/hardcore look to it, based off my own day to day wardrobe (the shirt says Midori, which was an insanely popular Jazz/Punk band that broke up in 2010), she dyes the underside of her hair and has a 3rd piercing in her ear. In my head, she's part of the scene. I also gave her the saiyan tail (she wasn't born with it, but got it when she hit puberty and kept it). She trains with Piccolo, Videl, and Goten, and sometimes at Tien's Dojo if he allows it. Yeah, she's in her rebellious phase against her Dad (I think Gohan should kinda act like how ChiChi did with him about training and being a respectable person cuz that'd be interesting; while Videl is not against her training, she does have a problem with her 'delinquent' behavior)

Bulla: Complete revamp (actually made her look her age). The intent was to make her features a blend of Bulma and Vegeta instead of having her a Bulma clone (They say is DBS that she looks like Vegeta when she's angry? But how??). Anyways, her hair and eyes I kept. She has Vegeta's eyebrows and widows peak which she hides using her hair or headbands/hats. Gave her a casual girly look. I intentionally did not make her design flashy (The Briefs are billionaires and the smartest family in the DB world, they are not drawing attention to themselves much to Vegeta's continued confusion). She still is a spoiled Daddy's Girl, who takes after her mother's intelligence. Vegeta makes her train as to not get rusty, but isn't super anal about it. She was born with a tail but it was removed, and when she had a growth spurt she decided to remove it

Marron: Another total revamp, I like this the most out of the 3 I made; I was struggling a bit with her, then I watched a LeanBeefPatty vid and everything clicked. I kept her features similar to her younger design, but her eyes would be blue like her mother (seriously, they didnt even make her look more like Android 18, they were so fuckin lazy with her). She was a student athlete (Volleyball then Wushu), but loves sparring and training, often asking her parents, Master Roshi, and even her Uncle to teach her (she trains with the saiyans at one point, but the innate differences are obvious, which pisses her off and fuels her spite). After graduating high school, she trains under Tien and Chiaotzu in their dojo. Her attitude is similar to Krillin if a bit more blunt, and is not afraid to get someone to cough up money (her mom taught her well). She gets along with all the Z fighters, her and Trunks were never the closest, reconnecting when they're adults. Goten and her use to be pretty close when they were younger (obligatory hang out with Parents) but drifted when Goten went to high school. Pan and Bulla do see her as an older cousin. She's just all around a pretty cool person (wouldn't it be cool if she had a technique she developed on her own, like Ki blocking or something)

Figuring Out Who to Play in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 lolol

Okie I bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 but need to decide what character to make for it. My main OC Avoca looks like she is Super Saiyan  4 but is just a normal level while like that. SHE WAS JUST BORN THAT WAY. I saw Xenoverse doesn’t have the ability to make your char look SSJ4 in base so I was thinking of playing one of her adult kids in the game instead. *Cough* The Dad is a version of Future Trunks of course. *Cough*

BUT THEN I also found out in Xenoverse,  Trunks used the Dragon Balls to wish for a powerful warrior and thats why your character shows up.   For some reason I found this more funny than just the Kaioshin of Time asking you to work for her because- just imagine being wished somewhere by an alt-timeline version of your Dad like WHAT lol. Anyways, I thought it would be a fun thing to use to explore each kid’s personality. How they would react to an alt-version of their Dad wishing for a powerful warrior and then them showing up. Maybe it will help me decide which kid I should play in Xenoverse 2 lol.

Boxer

He is supposed to have a sweet Samwise face I just can't draw sweet people WEH.

With light purple hair and blue eyes he’s obviously related to Trunks. His hair cut is even pretty close to Trunks. (It's more like Gohan’s bowl cut on Namek.) However Boxer wouldn’t say ANYTHING. He’d pretend like “NOPE THIS ISN’T ODD AT ALL.” I would also headcanon that Trunks finds this obvious too but also does not say anything. So it's gonna be awkward. Boxer will not get up in Trunks business though and treat him as any other acquaintance. He would very dutifully follow orders and help any way he can. 

I keep thinking about what Trunks would think in this situation lol. Long story short, Avoca is technically related to Goku. So Trunks could see Boxer and not think ‘this is my future son from an alt timeline’ he can also think ‘this is me from an alt timeline where Goku was my father instead of Vegeta????’ Boxer does have softer face features l sooo… anyways lots of internal screaming from poor Trunks.

Boxer is technically personality wise supposed to be a perfect blend of his Mom’s and Trunks’ personalities but I can totally see Chronoa witnessing Boxer and Trunks sharing the same brain cell a lot lol. 

Jock

And he’s gonna be the complete opposite of Boxer. While he is 6’4, dark purple hair, and yellow eyes- He could pass off NOT being related to Trunks. However, he would just tell Trunks right away he’s a son from an alt timeline. He would call Trunks ‘Pops’ and be his wingman. While at the same time having Trunks’ back, he would also pick on him like the same way he would tease his siblings.  

Jock has a huge dislike for gods and angels but will behave for Chronoa since a version of his father is there. Anyways, he’s here for a fun time and won’t stir up trouble. But also won’t tell anyone he has a time machine on him. Lol. Maybe he’ll tell Trunks if there is an emergency. 

I headcanon that Trunks in general, though proud of his Saiyan heritage, at the same time would keep the ‘being royal family’ on the down low. Jock on the other hand, very loud about it. Also one of his jackets has a combo of the Capsule Corp and Saiyan royal symbol painted on the back because why not. 

Olive Twins/Seelie

I DIDN'T DRAW THEM BOTH CUZ THEY ARE TWINS they are gonna look the same anyways it was hard to draw the same thing TWICE.

Olivia and Oliver have the ability to stay fused as long as they like so I would play them as their fusion named Seelie probably. With black hair and teal eyes they aren’t obviously related to Trunks. They would not say anything but would also be little gremlins about it. They would be very protective of Trunks. Also they would very much block anyone who isn’t like their mother from hitting on Trunks. LOL. They can easily be bribed to stop doing that though with any treats or trinkets they have never seen before.  

As I write this I realize Jock would totally help this alt Xeno Trunks get a date with anyone not like his Mom because he doesn’t want another HIM around. While the twins are very loyal to their Mom, only someone Mom like can see their Dad. Did I mention the twins are like goblins? I just picture them making those clicking noises like house cats do when watching birds when anyone they don’t like gets near Trunks. LAWD.

Their Fusion doesn’t look much different from each other since they're twins. Makes them taller lol.  But the fusion does take on more SSJ4 features like their mother has. YES I KNOW THE GAME CAN’T DO SSJ4 features but I’d figure something out weh. 

Brawler

He wouldn’t obviously look related to Trunks - blue eyes but black hair. He has his face though but maybe it’s not noticeable under his long black hair and bangs lol. Though when he goes to Super Saiyan it's more noticeable. Brawler would not say anything about being technically related to Trunks. He wouldn’t want to influence anything in whatever different timeline this Trunks is from. I’d say out of all the siblings he is the most calm. He’d also not be much different in behavior than Boxer would have. Maybe less stressed than Boxer would be. Lol. He would be a pacifist if he could but you know how LIFE IS. 

Brawler is more of a reverse Zamasu where he really likes people in general. A very Doctor Who vibe but uh, much more introverted than Doctor Who. LOL. He is very much wanting to help people but uses a different name when he helps someone because he doesn’t want to be perceived. He has that extroverted introvert energy going for him. I already have a list of different names he would use while on different planets/timelines/universes when helping people: Ajax, Orion, Eschalot, Ascher, Dechard, Sync, Kyrios - and I’m sure I can come up with more. If I use him in Xenoverse 2 I’ll probably do Orion or Ajax. WE’LL SEE. I do love how clever I was doing Brawler though. IT HAS AN UNDERWEAR WORD IN IT SEE. But still fits with his brothers Jock and Boxer so FRIKIN CLEVER.

I just checked and Toyotaro's AF with Xicor only has Krillin and 18 appear to basically say everyone's doomed and making a joke about it being Krillin's fifth death.

Though the next time we see him, he decided to fight to the last anyway to try and make a difference and 18 catch him training during the night and start sparring with him (she's unusually warm toward him for Toyotaro's standard)

So I guess it evens out. It has a few strange features like Goku being weirdly uninvolved despite Xicor's every other line being about being Goku's son and Vegeta just going SSJ4 at will suddenly and Gohan just unlocking SSJ4 without any of the Oozaru stuff normally required.

Honestly it's better character wise than the DBS manga, dude really got twitter brainrot since.

In terms of Daima and SSJ4, they actually built in a reason why SSJ4 wasn't used later. When Vegeta asks Goku where SSJ4 came from, Goku said he figured it out while training with Buu, but didn't know if it would work, so they can always just say that he tried during the Beerus fight but it failed because it's finicky, and then they got God which is just better.

Now I haven't watched Super but I recall the logic Goku used was that mastering SSJ 1 was simply more efficient than using the other, more draining forms. They could simply point to that
