🔺 RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP — does your oc know how to use any weapons?

heavenly knows how to use a lot of weapons yeah! mostly uses a crossbow which shoots essentially small wooden stakes with a silver core, it's his favorite weapon of all time :] he doesn't use guns a lot because they're mostly ineffective against vampires but he's got some modified guns that shoot handcrafted bullets or gauges which CAN hurt and slow down vamps

other than that he's also very good with melee weapons. he's very good with blades, mostly knives :^) he loves his throwing knives so much

🤍 WHITE HEART — what are three of your oc's neutral/questionable traits?

heavenly can be very blunt, a bit passive, and overall incredibly stubborn. it's nice to always know exactly how he's feeling when you ask him and him being very direct makes it easier to communicate with him, but it can also make him a bit rude from time to time. his passiveness is mostly due to him wanting to see all sides of a situation to fully understand it, but sometimes he waits just a bit too long. his stubbornness means he can be incredibly selfless and brave, but also incredibly stupid at the same time. duality of man

😥 SAD BUT RELIEVED FACE — is your oc prone to getting stressed out, or is it easy for them to keep their cool?

heavenly can usually stay calm under pressure, but it took him very long to get to that point. his breaking point is still easily reached but he can stay calm for as long as needed and then die about the whole thing later when he's in private and can actually afford to lie face down on the floor for several hours

🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?

isaac loves reading a lot!! he's been alone for a large chunk of his life so reading books is a very good way for him to pass the time. he's read SO many of them over the years. he also likes to write :^) mostly writes articles for random websites or short stories and stuff like that. lastly i feel like he would also like video games. he might be old and also a century old vampire but that means he's had enough time to discover the joys of a nintendo ds lite with mysims on it

🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?

isaac has one tattoo currently, which i don't know the design for yet but it would be related to his bloodline! it's a tattoo they gave him after he grew out of his youngblood phase and it's to signal to other vampires which bloodline he belongs to. it's on the back of his neck :^)

later in the story he also ends up getting a second tattoo which is a little sun on his hip to match heavenly's crescent moon hip tattoo <3

🎶 MUSICAL NOTES — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?

isaac can, much like heavenly, enjoy any kind of music i think! he's lived entirely too long to be a hater of things, he's found he's a lot happier trying to find the positive in everything around him and music would make him very happy :^) he would listen to non-english music a lot, as well as instrumental stuff

isaac is a man and uses he/him pronouns! he's cis but in the cisn't way, he doesn't really care all too much about putting a label on himself for that and just goes with what's most convenient for others. same would go for his sexual orientation, he identifies as gay but whatever that means exactly is between him and god

heavenly has a couple tattoos yeah!! he has an intricate looking crucifix on his chest between his top surgery scars, a small crescent moon on his hip, roses and thorns and ferns mixed together on the back of his neck and sprawling out over his shoulders and slightly down to his back, and some intricate smoke-like swirls and freaky looking eyes on the back of his hands. the crucifix and the tattoos on his hands are used to fend off vampires :^) he's planning on getting some more while in jericho but i haven't figured those out yet

🎶 MUSICAL NOTES — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?

i feel like heavenly would listen to any kind of music and he can generally enjoy it, but his all time favorite would just be pop music. think like. electronic upbeat kinda stuff. summer songs. am i making sense here. i hope i am. he LOVES that kind of shit but also wouldn't be quick to admit it out loud but it's the only thing he's listening to on the job

he does! heavenly has a surprising amount of medical knowledge and has had enough practice on jobs on both himself as well as on others to know what he's doing. he can be trusted setting your stitches but also i would not trust him with DIY surgery unless you really don't have any other option

🍎 RED APPLE — where was your oc born? do they still live in/around their place of birth or do they live somewhere else? how do they feel about their birthplace?

heavenly was born in a small (currently still unnamed but fictional) town in the middle of nowhere in georgia. he doesn't have many good memories from the place; almost everyone in there was a vampire hunter of some sort and while it was a very strong community he just didn't feel at home there and does not like to go back there at all

nowadays he mostly lives on the road in his van and in motels. when he comes to jericho (all the way over in northern california) he ends up getting a crappy little apartment but as bad as the place is it feels more like home than his birthplace ever did

💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?

heavenly doesn't necessarily have any cool supernatural abilities but he's a vampire hunter :^) he's a lot less extreme than the people from his birthplace though and mostly just focuses on killing vamps that are actually going on murder sprees or are causing disease outbreaks or trouble with livestock and all that. he's VERY very good at tracking down vampires without getting spotted by them which is a very good skill to have, especially if the vampire in question is feral at the moment and has heightened senses

🖤 BLACK HEART — has your oc killed or seriously wounded anyone before? have they broken someone's heart and/or broken someone's trust?

aside from vampires, heavenly has in fact shot someone before and that's his own father LMAO but the cunt had it coming!! i'm still figuring out his backstory a bit but it would've been around the last time they saw each other, his father survived but was obviously not happy with what had happened but also if heavenly got another chance to do it again he would. so <3

other than that he's had many many partners over the years, mostly one night stands or kind of trying to have a relationship but then he had to leave town again and it never worked out for him and he's broken MANY hearts throughout his whole life. and he's probably gonna end up doing the same thing in jericho. unless...

🍸 COCKTAIL GLASS — what is your oc's favorite alcoholic drink, if they can drink?

heavenly loves a good white russian but just any cocktail with vodka will do it for him. that includes a bloody mary which is funny considering he's a vampire hunter but that wouldn't be his all time favorite. he doesn't enjoy drinking plain vodka though but if he needs to reset his brain for the next 12 hours he will do it LMAO

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?

not necessarily a quirk but heavenly has tourette's so he makes a lot of little gestures. he also has a couple of vocal tics but he's got most of those under control when he's on the job, but when he's just chilling he's not actively trying to keep them under control

he also doesn't really speak unless spoken to but once he's going he will just not shut up for a While. he tends to lay out his entire thought process in what he's saying to you so you get all the unfiltered thoughts and you'll just have to pick out the useful information yourself SHGJDHGJHDFJG

he also chews on garlic cloves :/ says it's a good weapon against vampires but why would you be kissing them heavenly. what are you doing this for

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILY WITH MOTHER, FATHER, SON AND DAUGHTER — what's your oc's family like?

heavenly is the youngest of four and with such a large age gap that by the time he was 5 only the youngest of the three others still lived at home. because of this he doesn't know his siblings well, all of them grew up to be vampire hunters like their parents before them and they're all very similar in behavior and beliefs, which means heavenly would NOT get along with them at all

his parents aren't very religious and didn't necessarily disapprove of heavenly being trans, but at the same time they also didn't support him in the way they should have. especially his father wanted to train him well, while heavenly is not a killer or a born hunter like the rest of his family, and it made his childhood unnecessarily difficult

heavenly has never known his grandparents. he has a few aunts and uncles and cousins but has never met them either, because they're not in the vampire hunting business; but heavenly never found out if the no contact rule was made by his aunts and uncles, or by his parents

🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?

heavenly likes keeping a journal! he writes in it a lot and also keeps several notebooks full of vampire encounters and any new information he can gather on them. he enjoys making list and gathering data and this is a very nice and organized way of keeping his brain busy in quieter moments. he also likes to code in his free time, building websites and online games and stuff! also enjoys drawing a lot but he sucks ass at it but he doesn't care, he's still having fun with it

🩸 DROP OF BLOOD — what is your oc's blood type?

heavenly's blood type is AB- :^) it's a rare blood type in the united states which makes his blood very attractive to a lot of vamps which is kind of a bummer for them since heavenly is one of the best vampire hunters in the united states. but also he likes getting his blood sucked so if the vampires would just ask him nicely instead of attacking him they would have a much better shot at getting a taste of that

💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits?

heavenly is a pretty light sleeper but can very easily fall right back asleep when he's been woken up by something. he tends to sleep throughout most of the morning, wakes up for some lunch/dinner type meal, goes back to bed to take a nap and then spends most of the night up and moving either on a job or running errands and such. sometimes a job will take him into the early morning hours and then he tends to stay up to get some breakfast, and then he will sleep from late morning to early evening instead

🚫 PROHIBITED — does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events?

heavenly drinks a lot more than he probably should but doesn't smoke because it makes him nauseous. he doesn't like beer or wine so he never touches any of that but he likes cocktails a lot :^) or a good old cola and rum or some other mixed drink. he rarely drinks strong liquors straight from the bottle but if he had to pick something it would be vodka to give his brain a reset

🍝 SPAGHETTI — what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?

heavenly loves a good stir fry or some really good pasta. adds entirely too much cheese and garlic on almost everything he eats. absolutely addicted to garlic bread. would probably put hot sauce on most things as well and also loves tossing pineapple through meals. he's got interesting eating habits but it's essentially all his comfort foods mixed into one and it fucks severely every single time

🤒 FACE WITH THERMOMETER — does your oc get sick easily?

heavenly gets sick pretty regularly but usually nothing more than a common cold and he gets over it pretty fast as well. it's mostly due to him being outside a lot especially at night and he's not always properly dressed for the occasion because he never checks the weather forecast

💍 RING — does your oc have any piercings? do they want any (more) piercings?

isaac has an earring in his left ear! he rarely wears it anymore but will occasionally put it in again for special occasions :^) he hasn't actively thought about getting more piercings but if he would think about it he would spin around the idea of getting his nipples pierced for entirely too long. baby girl you are a priest

🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?

isaac has asthma, recurring sciatica in his right leg, and autism. he had hoped being a vampire would fix the first two problems but it has not :/ he's got medication for his asthma but never sees a doctor for the sciatica because it goes away on its own most of the time anyway. the autism is undiagnosed and i don't think he would be aware of it himself either but it's there alright trust me

🐶 DOG FACE — does your oc have any pets?

isaac does not have a pet right now but i'm planning on giving him a cat during the story events :^) cats usually don't mix well with vampires but this is a very brave little kitty who will not leave isaac alone so he has no choice but to adopt it

💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?

i still don't have a name for isaac's bloodline but his bloodline has a couple of traits that make it unique. for starters, they're the most dangerous bloodline when feral because of their speed and how many victims they leave behind. their eyes go white entirely when they're feral which has something to do with their eyes adjusting to their surroundings so they can target victims easier. while they cannot transform into a bat or any other animal for that matter, they ARE capable of flight and also possess slight telekinetic powers :^)

🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?

heavenly has tourette's and adhd! as said in an earlier ask, most of his tics are little gestures he does, usually repetitive as well. for example, he can be seen holding his own thumb a lot when idling around, or running his hand over his neck which he usually has to repeat three times on the same side or once on both sides of his neck. other than that he has a few vocal tics which double as vocal stims for him :^) they help with focusing better but also when he's on a job he will try his best to control them because he has to be quiet

as for physical disabilities, he once broke a bone in his left shoulder badly on a job and it's healed by now but it's still giving him some chronic pain issues, which is why he can't really carry very heavy things with that arm or handle heavy firearms against that shoulder

🐷 PIG FACE — what is your oc's favorite animal?

heavenly loves wolves :^) he likes to joke about it a lot by going "i always preferred werewolves anyway" when talking about vampires LMAO it makes isaac very >:^| because "werewolves don't exist heavenly you should know this"

🤩 FACE WITH STARRY EYES — is your oc a planner, or are they more spontaneous in their actions?

heavenly loves planning stuff out beforehand and will do this in very detailed matter but once it's time to execute the plan he will throw it aside SO fast and just do whatever feels right to him. it's always worked better for him this way because it gives him a solid framework to fall back to if necessary but also allows him to just see where the job takes him and if he can get shit done by just doing whatever. gives him more freedom that way

🩸 DROP OF BLOOD — what is your oc's blood type?

isaac's blood type is O- which makes him a universal donor :^) he's very upset that vampire blood doesn't work too well on humans as actual human blood because he would want to donate blood but also doesn't want to take the risk, knowing it could not be enough to save someone's life

🚫 PROHIBITED — does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events?

isaac doesn't drink because it doesn't do anything for him anyway plus he doesn't really like the taste of alcohol, but he used to smoke a LOT. eventually stopped since it does still affect your lungs as a vampire and he didn't want to have to deal with that for the rest of eternity. it was very much a chainsmoking kind of situation because of stress and it helps surpress feral sense, but eventually he realized it wasn't worth it and instead found other ways to deal with it

💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?

isaac speaks english, spanish, french, italian, latin, japanese and arabic! he also knows a bit of asl and he's still learning several other languages including finnish, german, dutch, irish, and korean :^) he loves languages a lot and has plenty of time to teach himself new ones anyway so why not right

✈️ AIRPLANE — does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?

heavenly LOVES traveling! he's always on the move, going from city to city to deal with vamp problems and just hang out until they kick him out for whatever reason (there's a wide variety of reasons this can happen to him). he would love to actually travel outside of the united states one day too but so far hasn't been able to, mostly because he doesn't know any other languages and he would be embarrassed to go to another country without knowing at least a little bit of the language. he's been trying to teach himself some languages though :^)

isaac on the other hand doesn't like to travel at all which is why he lived in an abandoned chapel all alone for decades and he had to hype himself up for two full years before he was able to move to jericho LMAO he likes being in a comfortable and recognizable environment and he would be ok with it if there's someone traveling with him but he doesn't see himself doing that any time soon :(

🔱 TRIDENT EMBLEM — can your oc swim? do they enjoy swimming?

heavenly can swim but he can't swim very well and he's too afraid of water to teach himself how to do it </3 he's had some very bad near-drowning experiences so he tends to just stay away from large bodies of water altogether

isaac can theoretically swim but also it's been at least a century since he's last been in water so at this point who knows SHGJFDHJGDFJ he didn't enjoy swimming much anyway so he wouldn't want to try it out unless he really HAS to for whatever reason

🍔 HAMBURGER — is your oc good at cooking? are they good at baking? which one do they prefer?

heavenly is a decent cook and a shitty baker. he WILL burn down the kitchen don't let him bake anything please. he mostly cycles through the same 7-8 meals and then whatever takeout he can get in the town he's staying at and he's perfectly fine living like that, it's not that he's a picky eater necessarily but he just doesn't really have the time or the energy to cook himself proper meals

isaac is a very good cook though. it's the one thing he's been consistently doing throughout the years and he can make incredibly good meals even though they provide zero nutritional value to him unless he puts blood in the meals :// but he really doesn't like what that does to the flavors so he never does that. he's not very good at baking but also doesn't really do that anyway, he cooks a lot more because he always makes meals at the church and stuff :^)

💚 GREEN HEART — does your oc prefer being inside or outside?

heavenly LOVES being outside. whether he's all alone there or surrounded by people doesn't matter to him, he likes being part of life around him rather than sit in a cramped space for much longer than necessary and he will be seen outside for as much as possible. it's also part of why he doesn't really like the idea of settling down somewhere all that much; he prefers being on the road and seeing new places, but at the same time he's gotten to a point in his life where he can't really afford to travel all that much anymore

isaac doesn't have a strong preference, but generally speaking it's safer for him to be inside because of the sunlight and all that. he does like going out at night but considering how busy jericho is even in the nightly hours he would still rather be indoors somewhere as to not get caught up in the busy crowds

💭 THOUGHT BALLOON — what is your oc's MBTI, enneagram, and/or other personality aspects (if known/interested in)?

heavenly's MBTI is INFJ! he might be a little bit distant and doesn't open up to people easily, he IS very passionate about what he does. he's insightful and principled and good at his job, as well as good at finding creative solutions for things; but at the same time he's very perfectionistic and easily overworks himself due to wanting to keep himself busy as much as possible

isaac's MBTI is ISFJ! he's helpful and kind, very reliable and works hard to make sure his shelter is a safe place for everyone; but at the same time he's overly humble and doesn't really talk about himself much, focusing more on those around him and letting himself vanish in the shadows a little bit. this is mostly because he will outlive most those people anyway, but it also stops him from forming close connections with people who could be very good friends to him

🥯 BAGEL — what does your oc's typical breakfast look like? do they usually eat breakfast?

heavenly tends to skip over breakfast because he usually sleeps his whole morning away LMAO if he does find himself awake at an hour he deems acceptable for breakfast he usually goes to a diner for some breakfast waffles :^) or an egg burger if he's very hungover

isaac has the equivalent of a little juice box of blood as breakfast most of the time. he can get nauseous easily when having too much of it when he's just woken up but it's an essential meal he can't skip so he always has some anyway, to make sure he won't accidentally go feral

for heavenly i answered this here! to give you a bit more context though: the crescent moon on his hip is the first tattoo he got. it was pretty soon after he left home and it's a curious tattoo to get as a vampire hunter since they usually don't want to associate themselves with the night too much but for heavenly it goes hand in hand with his complicated relationship to his occupation and vamps in general. the crucifix on his chest is one he got after his top surgery scars had healed, it's mostly for protection against vampires but also symbolic for his relationship with religion and his family. the tattoos on his hands are also for protection and he got those done after almost dying in a vamp nest one time, and the tattoos on his back and shoulders are mostly just decorative because he likes them :^)

for isaac i answered this here! to give you a bit more context though: it's a moth tattoo with torn wings with decorative rings around it and a solar eclipse. it's common for his bloodline to go feral during a solar eclipse for no clear reason, which is why it's part of their bloodline tattoo

🧡 ORANGE HEART — does your oc tend to prioritize family or friends?

heavenly HEAVILY prioritizes friends. his family was shitty as hell and he cannot think about them without getting a panic attack or being at least three glasses deep to prevent that panic attack LMAO he doesn't have many friends because he's on the move so often but he does have a very special place in his heart for everyone who's ever been his friend. he also considers most of those people to still be his friends

💜 PURPLE HEART — what is your oc's ancestry/genetic background?

his mother's family is from finland and his father's family is from poland! his mother was born in the united states but his father moved there later in his life, heavenly himself was born in the united states as well and doesn't have a double passport or anything. he's also never left the united states himself but he would want to at some point

🧐 FACE WITH MONOCLE — is your oc more logical or emotional?

heavenly likes to think he's more logical but that is entirely not true. his first solo vampire hunt ever resulted in him letting the vampire walk away because he couldn't kill him because it would make him sad :^( and he has not changed all that much since then he's just gotten better at controlling his emotions to make himself seem very distant and aloof and all that

💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits?

isaac is a pretty heavy sleeper :^) as a vampire he doesn't require a lot of sleep and because of his bloodline he can go out in the sun as long as he wears enough sunscreen and doesn't stay in there for too long and protects his eyes, so he doesn't have to sleep his whole day away either. with his duties at the church he tends to sleep from around 7am to 2pm, then has time for himself for a few hours at home and then spends most of the time between 6pm and 6am out of the house, either running errands or being at the church to help there with stuff or hang out with people and such

🐈 CAT — does your oc prefer a wide circle of friends or a few close friends?

isaac thinks he doesn't have many friends but he does in fact have many. a lot of people at the church who stay there for overnight shelter or stop by for dinner would consider him a friend since he always takes the time to talk to almost everyone there to make them feel at home. he himself doesn't necessarily consider all those people friends but that's not because he doesn't think they are, but more because he believes that they don't see him as a friend either if that makes sense. he doesn't mind it though, he still likes to hang out there and surround himself with a lot of people but he doesn't mind not being close to people because generally that can't last anyway due to him being a vampire and all that

😊 SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES — what are your oc's career/general life desires? what do they want to get the most out of life?

heavenly doesn't really have a goal in life anymore :( ever since he's left home he's just been doing what he was always meant to do; hunt vampires, and he's lost track of how many he's killed over the years and he's lost sight of what he's exactly doing all of it for in the first place. he ends up going to jericho as a cry for help basically, even though he will never admit that to himself. it's like a final resort, plan z, with the only other option left for him being to return home to his parents which would most definitely kill him so he's hoping to find sanctuary in jericho and find purpose again there

as for isaac, he has centuries of life left to live and he doesn't know if his feral sense will end up getting him killed or if he will end up with a stake in his heart because of a vampire hunter, so he wants to spend every second of his life helping others. he never asked to become a vampire and doesn't want to be doomed in the way his life wants to doom him so so badly, so he's trying everything he can to show that he is in fact a good man with good intentions. in a way very similar to heavenly; trying to prove himself to nobody in particular. of course this has religious undertones for the both of them. and also daddy issues

for heavenly i answered this here!

isaac has killed several people over the years, as "sacrifices" to not go feral and kill even MORE people like that. usually when feeding on humans he makes sure he doesn't kill them because it generally isn't necessary at all, but occasionally when he hasn't had a good meal in a while he has to drain them of so much blood that they do end up dead. again, a sacrifice he HAS to make lest his feral sense takes over and he will end up killing way more people like that until he snaps out of it, and it usually takes pretty long before that happens
