Anne takes what the Baker brought them and passes it to Ganji who thanks the Baker and happily eats while doesn't let the gray dressed man take anything but happily allows the postman to take something.

Anne glances at her team before returning her gaze to the Baker.

"They're like this normally... Anyway, thank you very much for the welcome, miss...Er... May I know your name?"

“Speak clearly, there’s no need to be embarrassed. Back straight, arms steady, voice clear. You made pastries, then be proud of it. Show them off. If you come all meek and small like that, then you’re saying you’re worried and scared about the gift itself, which would make the other reluctant to actually accept it.”

The painter did put down his brush though to turn to you, wiping his hands somewhat clean of paint.

“You are right though, I have been working too long. What have you brought then?”

Scooping up the baker, Pearce was quick to embrace her, almost looking angry.

"Who did it!? Who's the fittetryne I need to put in their place!?"

He sounded angry, proven so of the sickle he was gripping in his right hand.

"Did they hurt you? id they follow you? Where did they take you?"

Phineas was at first stunned with the sudden hug from behind and thought it was the Killer or his helpers trying to attack and turn around immediately to see yet instead he was shocked to see Beth before him giving him a warm hug with her shy face looking at him with a smile.

He known she had been saved but didn’t go to see her for two reasons 1- he felt guilty that he couldn’t protect her or even save her in time 2- he was way too busy with this whole killer thing to even go meet anyone or take a break.

But seeing her now before him…. He couldn’t control himself anymore and immediately hug her back and closer to him with a big smile draw on his face of happiness and relief that it almost blinded despite how his form change to have almost all black to his appearance.

“BETH!!!! OH MY SWEET LITTLE CUTE CUPCAKE ANGEL BETH IS BACK!! GOD I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE SAVE AND SOUND AND FINALLY RETUNED TO US!!!”

He then put his hands on her cheeks to check on her and admire her face that he kissed so much.

“Did they hurt you in anyway?! Oh Beth… I am so sorry I allowed such thing to happen to you… I-I couldn’t even find you myself no matter how I looked everywhere and placed my eyes all over the place. I am so sorry Beth!!”

She looked down and shyly opened up the basket she was carrying, revealing it to be filled to the brim with baked goods.

"I currently have company, but you're welcome to join Jack and I for some tea." Jack waves from the background

"We can all share the goods if you dont mind, excluding Brooke since as tasty as your goods may be, birds of prey are not one to eat such food."

I gotta know, do you have a canon manor game? And if so, who was in it and how did it go?

"My first match? It was uh.. fine, I guess. I wouldn’t be able to tell you for sure, I don’t exactly remember the last minutes of it. I guess I can explain what I do remember though. It was a match with a certain Baker, Tailor, Mechanical Designer and Mercenary. Figuring out how to use my ability was fun, running and stabbing was something I was already used to, but being granted an additional speed and strength made it better."

"There was just one… issue. I assumed the only complication would be those terrible headaches. The headaches were already getting me riled up, and that idiotic mercenary was making things worse. It felt practically impossible to get him down, it was frustrating! It didn’t help that I was starting to get down to one cipher with all the survivors still alive and well. In an attempt of trying to turn this around in my favor, I began to use my ability more and more."

"Half of the match became a blur by then. All I saw were useless prey that needed to be cut down. Once I finally came back to my senses, I was standing over who I assumed was the mercenary. It was hard to tell with the multiple stab wounds covering his body. The other pests had already been sent back to the manor, luckily for them, it was by chair. Poor, poor mercenary~"

"I gutted that damn pig and sent him back with my own hands. I don’t remember doing it, but I can remember the feeling. I hadn’t felt like that since my last adventure with the coward who called herself my friend. It felt great. Although, when I returned from my match, it seemed some of my fellow hunters didn’t share the same feeling. Some even had the plain audacity to look at me with such disgust. The looks on their face were pathetic. The host of these games was even worse to deal with. I was punished for "breaking the natural order" of these games. Can you believe that? I was punished for losing control over an ability that they gave me. If anything, they should’ve been thankful I brought a new outcome to their stupid little game."

"Ugh. Now I’m not allowed to use my ability that much during matches. Something about the manor owner refusing for me to get that "wild" mid-match. I don’t understand why I can’t just put the survivors’ out of their misery my own damn self, but there isn’t much I can do about it now."

It's been a while since i ate one of these-" Before he can finish talking, Samantha snatches the pastriess out of the woman's hands. "They shall be confiscated by me first." "They shall not-" The gambler takes one of the pastries taking a bite out of it, his eyes shine in delight. "Mm! they're so good." Sam gives him a look before taking one of the patries too and eating it "Hm...I guess they're good." "Thank you for your kindness, I'm Lawrence! And you are...?"
