Wishing a happy holiday season to my favorite FNAF/Springtrap artists who were my first foray into the fandom (first image clockwise from upper-left): @sproingtrep, @ask-springsecurity, @springtrap-trash and @springledoodle/springledongle, and in the next image @springlockedfoxy!   You are all brilliant and it is always a joy to see your creations.  I know some of you have had a rough 2017, and I wish only good things for all of you in the coming year and beyond.  May 2018 be kind to you and yours.  Thank you for being awesome and sharing your work with us!

Since Springlocked Foxy’s Ben is … uh … taking a trip to wherever the marionette sent him … I felt the Puppet really deserved a gift.  Whatever it is, whether material or metaphorical, I hope that it brings him joy and perhaps makes his tasks in the Fright more bearable.  He’s gotta be the hardest-working-marionette out there.

Oh god, what the hell had happened?

It was a cookie- just a cookie. But apparently some sort of Alice in wonderland bullshit cookie, because Mort was about 4-5 inches tall, stranded on the office desk. The cookie- a little smaller than him now- sits by his feet with what seems like a massive bite out of it. 

“Oh god.... N-no, no, this isn’t- this c-can’t be real-” he swallows thickly, frantically pacing back and forth on the desk. “Wh.... wh-what do i do!?”

It isn’t too late to sign up to be a house, either! Just send me an ask or message me and I’ll confirm your addition to the list! I’ll keep this post pinned to the top of my page, which will have the most up-to-date list of participating house blogs, as well as notices of any of the blogs that need to bow out early and put up the ‘out of candy’ sign (hey, life happens)! As a reminder, we’re going to try to keep the event PG-13. However, 18+ and NSFW blogs are welcome to sign up to be houses, just let me know so I can note it on our house list- still need the treats to be PG-13 though. Treats/tricks can be photos of a handful of candy, pre-made/on-the-fly art, short literary pieces, poems, or whatever the ‘house’ wants to give out as long as it sticks with the basic PG-13 rule. Oh, and no jump-scares as tricks/treats please!

Houses have anytime before Nov. 1st to respond to a knock at their door, so please be patient with the lovely folks who signed up to be our houses (though that deadline is pretty flexible because, again, life/delays happen). If you can, send your trick-or-treat greetings well before the end of the month to make sure the houses have time to get their treats ready.

This is a pretty relaxed event and there’s no sense in getting stressed out over something that’s supposed to be fun, so if anything comes up or you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me.

A few additional notes:

You don’t have to be a FNAF blog to participate, nor do your tricks/treats have to be FNAF themed.

‘House’ blogs can also trick or treat!

All fandom/non-fandom blogs are welcome to join in!

You don’t need a muse to participate. You can just be your lovely offline self if you like!

Please only visit each ‘house’ once (unless the houses specifically encourage repeat visits, but that’s totally up to them).

Wow. Well...what can I say?

It's been a wild ride. 7 years of SpringleDongle, granted the last year has been a hiatus on Tumblr (I've been actively posting in the official discord). Posting the archive was also a massive task- 625 total posts on the new blog!

I've lost the several thousand followers I had on my old account, but that's just the nature of things. Hopefully I can regain a new audience as new asks are responded to, and new arcs posted!

I don't know what to say. So many people made this blog what it is, and I've had so many friends support me during the downtime. I'm in tears just thinking about how much this blog means to me.

I want to personally thank a few people.

@springlockedfoxy : My love, my life, my husbunny. Without you, I would've given up a long time ago. Thank you for the love, the inspiration, and your endless support. I'm so excited for our new life together.

@foxygogogo : My precious sibling. Without you, this blog wouldn't exist. We created a universe together, our silly characters and story, and of course Stan. Thank you for always being enthusiastic and enabling my bullshit stories, and being the best Funtime Foxy ever.

@ask-springsecurity : My beloved best friend, whose ongoing support and enthusiasm for our story has kept me coming back again and again. Hopefully I can push you to continue your blog too!

@sproingtrep : My blog wouldn't exist without you. Your blog was such an influential story for so many people, myself included. Thank you for rooting for me over the years, and best of luck in your non-FNAF endeavours!

@primalarc : You've always motivated me to better my art, try new techniques, and pushed my characters with Mike bullying everyone. You are such an incredible friend, I love you so much. I treasure that FNAF brought us to eachother, made our characters interact, and let me come to meet you!

@pinkusponkus : My absolutely darling, soft and gentle friend. Your support for me on and off the blog has meant an immense amount over the years. Thank you for always being gentle, encouraging and supportive towards me, both on and off the blog. I'm so lucky to have met you.

@ravi-and-rainbows : Your ever-passionate love of Jingles made him into so much more of a character than he was originally planned. Your ongoing love, support and shitposts never failed to cheer me up and make me laugh. I'm sorry I killed Jingles. ):
