"I heard it's good for kids. I hope it ends up being useful. You two have my best wishes. May your child be as healthy as they can be..." The Mew smile, it knows how difficult pregnancies are.

Thank you, very much. I'm sure the baby will love this. And until then, it'll do Akoya some good.

With the conclusion of the first story beat, I wanted to say a quick thank you to both my fellow mew obsessors in the notes/replies and other mew creators,, @loupy-mongoose , @lotusmew , @blues-sues , @mewtales , @askmythicalparty !! I was really blown outta the water by the interest and support as it’s been years since I’ve tackled a comic like this. Let alone posted it publicly,, a few people I want to particular thank for reblogging every silly lil update and or making me audibly laugh with their replies are @givemeuniversalcrossovers , @oogaboogaspookyman , @mel-the-pirate , @greatgoldlion , and @bbubblefrostin (of which bubbles helps run a fabulous discord server for mew/twos)

I also wanted to thank my fellow mew creators again for clogging up their own blogs with this XD, as well as just everyone who supported it, followed this far, and left asks. I wish I could name everyone, but I don’t want to ping and be a nuisance. Just know ya’ll really made me smile ;3

As a result, I have lost two of my other children… They were not deemed “fit” to exist. This laboratory has been contracted by a sinister organization to make a bioweapon, you see. If they make the best one first and fastest, they get paid.

I can’t sit by and allow more of my children to just be discarded. I will get this one out, even if I- hmm?

The pink Mew goes silent as they watch the other Mewtwos approach their child.

I… I’ve tried, but I can’t… they’re able to block any kind of communication and I can’t…

Tears begin to well up in the Mew’s eyes as they swiftly turn away from the visitors.

Forgive me… I just need a moment… you both look so much like them…

The Mewtwo floats closer to the elegant-looking Mew, their tail flicking around slowly... Cerulean, despite young, can feel a strong aura of paranoia surrounding the other 'mon. Something that brings back a few memories. Gently the young Mewtwo sits on the ground, its tail wrapping around themselves out of habit.

ー ... Are you okay? The others seems to have startled you a bit with that story of having someone after you...

“I feel bad that I lashed out at them…I definitely should have handled that situation better….but still, it was a very hurtful assumption to make, whether they know it or not…”

“Just because Polteageist can absorb the life force of others, doesn’t mean we all do. It’s really just an awful thing to inflict on people….usually only desperate Polteageist, barely clinging to the afterlife by a thread, try it by force, but there are some horrible Pokemon who do it for fun….”

“I’ve always hated it when others assumed that of me and my family…” Hibiscus sighed. “While many people and Pokémon who live here know this about us, a lot of others outside the forest don’t and just…believe that awful stereotype about us and assume the worst.”

The Polteageist looked up at the group of Pokemon around her and smiled; a genuine one this time. “Thank you all again for asking me if I was ok; I’m lucky to have such kind customers. You all are welcome at my shop anytime.”

STAR FESTIVAL 2023 GROUP PHOTO!!!

Its finally done!! And unfortunatly over!!

Thank you all again that have been here, seriously, with all my heart. I cant express how happy it made me see people come around and interact with each other!

As its my first event that I hosted, i would like to ask if there was anything that left you unsatifyied or think that something could be done better! Dont hesitate to throw in suggestions!!

This (hopefully) wont be the last time you hear from me and this event ;)

The Zigzagoon rushes at the food cart and takes a big sniff at the air. All this running around left it's stomach quite empty. She's not so sure if her companions even need food, but she never saw Ditto eat anything, but maybe a snack will help Mew get less worried about that Egg.

"Rawwr!!" ("Hey! I'm very hungry, I've been walking through this festival for a long time, do you have anything good to replenish my energy?... A calming tea would also do wonders for my pink friend over there!!")

You can have AS MANY FRIES AS YOU WANT. Unfortunately, I DO NOT HAVE ANY TEA.

if it’s protection you want, i do have something a little more powerful than regular charms.

[chai pulls out a slip of paper from an envelope to show the mew. it appears to be a cleanse tag with something else written on it.]

this talisman is blessed by my lady azami, so it’s very powerful. you can put it on an object or a doorway, if it’s a place that needs protection from harm. however, its power doesn’t last quite as long as the smaller charms once it’s applied. it’d be able to protect that egg, let’s say, until it hatches? so you can take your pick between this and a regular charm, hmm?

The Mew seems frenetic, big cries coming out of it's mouth. While their eyes are normally emotionless, this time they're blown wide in desperation. And for once, it it's not holding the Egg, has anything happened to it? They look around for something to calm themself, spotting the big, fluffy Arcanine. Swiftly, it buries it's face into the big fur and let's out a cry.

Francis: "Here, have this bulbasaur plushie. It might not be egg shaped but it has a warm up function so it helps to calm you down."

Francis: "It might not be my place to ask, but do you perhaps have seperation anxiety? If you are willing to treat it, come by our island. We see that in a daily basis when trainers dont want to keep the egg but the parent pokemon dont want to leave it. It puts a lot of stress on the pokemon, so please, think about it. Don't feel obligated to either."

The Mew observes the bi-colored one in front of them, shifting the position of their newborn on it's arms it tilts it's head slightly and give it a small smile.

"Mew. Mew, mew... Mew. Mew?" ("Hello there. I'm... Well, Mew, and this is my child. May I know who you are?")

Calico: Mew… I also once went by that name, too, before I began staying with Saguaro. I now go by Calico. I also have a little one, but…

Calico: My baby is so big now already. I feel like it wasn't too long ago where I could hold him in my arms like you could hold yours. Now he's as big as I am. He goes by Lynx. Lynx: Mew! Calico: And, uh, I think growing in his teeth, hahah!
