Artificial Intelligence has the potential to revolutionize our education systems. With personalized study plans quick grading and assessment tools AI can take learning to a new level. In this video, we're going to talk about unleashing the power of AI in education. Let's dive deep into the video and learn more about personalized study plans, virtual tutors, and assessments.
In the rapidly evolving landscape of education, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force, redefining the traditional paradigms of teaching and learning. The symphony of innovation and intelligence has given rise to an era where education has become more personalized, dynamic, and engaging than ever before.
At the heart of this revolution is the concept of "Unleashing the Power of AI in Education." This groundbreaking approach transcends conventional teaching methodologies by harnessing the capabilities of AI to tailor educational experiences to the unique needs of each learner. A cornerstone of this paradigm shift lies in the creation of personalized study plans, a dynamic framework that adapts and evolves alongside the student's progress, ensuring a customized learning journey that maximizes comprehension and retention.
Imagine a learning environment where every student has access to a virtual tutor and an intelligent companion dedicated to providing real-time assistance and guidance. With AI-driven virtual tutors, students can receive immediate feedback, delve into complex concepts at their own pace, and embark on a learning journey that aligns with their individual strengths and areas for improvement. This symbiotic relationship between students and virtual tutors fosters a sense of empowerment, instilling confidence and autonomy in the learning process.
Furthermore, the integration of AI in education extends beyond the realms of study plans and virtual tutors to revolutionize the assessment landscape. Traditional assessments often fall short of capturing the multifaceted nature of a student's abilities. AI-powered assessments, on the other hand, leverage advanced analytics to gauge not only the correctness of answers but also the underlying thought processes and problem-solving strategies employed by each student. This nuanced evaluation enables educators to gain a comprehensive understanding of a student's academic profile, paving the way for targeted interventions and tailored support.
The synergy of personalized study plans, virtual tutors, and assessments creates an ecosystem where education transcends the boundaries of one-size-fits-all approaches. Students become active participants in their learning journey, guided by the insightful analysis and adaptive strategies of AI. This paradigm shift not only enhances academic performance but also nurtures critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning skills – essential attributes for success in the 21st century.

"children don't need to learn phonics"
"children don't need to memorize their multiplication facts"
look I'm not saying these ideas come from the same place but I'm not NOT saying it, y'know?
#I'll talk to 3rd graders n they'll be like 'oh yeah we talked about multiplication in the begining of the year but we moved on pretty quick'#the ONLY thing i remember about being in third grade is learning multiplication (and needing to get glasses lol)#it's at the point where if i assess a student in grades 3-8 and they DON'T struggle with multiplication im pleasantly surprised#educational program designers be like 'im bad at math..... what if EVERYONE was bad at math?'

ELA, grades 5-10, Percy Jackson / Greek Mythology unit
Quiz:
Phase 1
Imagine that you must do a 4-person group project that requires researching a topic, making a poster/slideshow, and doing a presentation.
Choose one classmate (or Tumblr mutual) and two of the twelve Olympians to form a group with. Mark your choices on the attached Google Doc. You must also include a rationale for why you chose to include your two picks and why you chose to exclude each of the other options.
Phase 2
Teacher assigns each student's chosen partner* (or Tumblr mutual) to respond to their rationales by adopting the persona of each of the Olympians. Not every god needs to respond to every rationale, but every god does need to leave at least one comment.
Notes for teachers:
The provided doc includes the names for all Olympians plus Hades, but you may choose to leave it blank and have students fill them in on their own as part of the assessment.
Hades has been intentionally included among the list of Olympians as a trap. Deduct points for any of the following:
• choosing to include Hades as a group member
• failing to address Hades's status as a non-Olympian in their rationale
• failing to address/mock Hades's status as a non-Olympian when writing in the persona of at least one Olympian
Other than that, reward students for having the foresight to carefully word their rationales so as not to offend anyone, because we mortals can never be sure that the gods are not in a capricious mood on any particular day.
*This might get complicated, so you may choose to simply randomize student selections for this part of the quiz.
#assessment#ela / english language arts#grade 5#middle school#high school#greek mythology#percy jackson#percy jackson and the olympians#tagamemnon#teachblr#I may not be using Tagamemnon legitimately‚ if so then I apologize for my hubris.#but this feels like it would be a really fun activity#I really hope someone tries it out#as for me‚ I wrote this whole thing while waiting at the DMV#my queue is running out and I needed more legitimate lessons this week

y'all stop saying fyodor has never looked so sincerely angry before. he has.
I know this because, and this is not an exaggeration, the vast majority of my manga revisits are to enjoy his expressions of anger, disdain, and malcontent. i shit you not, several of my bsd meta posts wholly unrelated to fyodor were written because I happened to notice something else while flipping through to imbibe fedya's hissy fits. I don't reread the manga when I do this, just those scenes, unless something else catches my attention.
anyway, stop disrespecting my beloved pastime.
#bsd#bungou stray dogs#bsd fyodor#most people are remarkably bad at reading expressions#not me though#this isnt a bit i fixated on how emotions are nonverbally communicated so that i could lie better and to develop a pleading face#for most of elementary school i studied people's faces and workshopped my own by getting feedback from others and testing them in the field#then in 8th grade my gifted program teacher made us take an assessment on how well we could read faces#to debunk body language expertise#and demonstrate the fact that most people think they can read faces but most of us cant#emphasizing why trials and presumptions based on assumptions that we can are harmful#everyone predictably failed real hard#except for me. i made an 80%#my teacher made me take it again and explain to her my process.#then she asked where i learned it and i explained to her that i never got stickers at naptime in kindergarten because i never slept#so i began obsessively refining my fake sleep#it took months but i figured out how to coordinate all of the tells and it worked i started getting stickers#so then i started to practice other states of mind#and she marked me an outlier and removed me from the data 😭#anyway. all im saying is. i love fedya's face.

I am legitimately so proud of all I have done in teaching this week.
#I got my seniors out of the reading/discussion slump and through several chapters of Emma#it’s starting to move faster#I also graded their writing and gave them a quiz#I had my sophomores take a grammar quiz and idk what the carnage will be but I feel like it’s the closest I’ve come to being happy#with the quiz as an assessment tool and with the teaching and prep I did beforehand to prepare them for it#I also kept them on track with David Copperfield had some meaningful discussions about the love stories#and various threads. made them laugh. kept their attention#and my 8th graders are almost through Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet!#they are following they are paying attention they are enjoying themselves#they also just completed a piece of writing that reinforced some of the basics that they need#it’s just good. and I’m ready for the break next week!#but it’s really good. going on vacation when I did was a great idea. and it really did refresh me and gave me the energy to get through#until now and I was running so low#anyway celebratory post yay#teaching tag#idk if any of this is interesting but I love reflecting

can i read prince lestat + realms of atlantis in 4 days? i mean, yes. its 2 books thats not hard.
can i build a comparative analysis based on the original atlantis as described by plato? maybe!!
do i have other commitments?? yeah its EASTER i am watching JCS live for the first time and i have other homework to do. the essay plan is due in four days. i need to know if this will work.
ive only read iwtv, tvl and qotd fully. and im thinking about jumping straight into prince lestat. i have a comprehensive understanding of the rest of the series but it is NOT the same as actually reading it
there is a joke that i'm going to do my PhD thesis on the vampire chronicles one day.
i don't think it's a joke anymore.
can i do this?
#interview with the vampire#iwtv#the vampire chronicles#prince lestat#lestat de lioncourt#classical reception theory my beloved i am going to make you WEEP when i reference anne rice and plato in the same sentence#unoriginal thoughts#i dont have a tag for posts about uni. i need one. never mind#this assessment is woth 40% of my grade (5% plan + 35% essay) so should i be blowing it on lestat? who knows. who cares. not me.

god why am i so fucking stupid. having adhd is truly a curse and i hate bearing it
#not to vent on main but. fml actually!#in my health assessment lab we had this case study assignment to do and i freaking. misunderstood all of it so bad#idk why but for some reason i thought we were supposed to make up a patient ourselves for it#…we were not#no :) we were not :) there’s a freaking. TEMPLATE for the exact patient we were supposed to do it on in the module#that i opened once and then forgot about because adhd just works like that#and now im literally . kmsing because we fucking . we fucking presented these orally in class#and i was only half paying attention bc i was (incorrectly) documenting my (made-up) patient information on the record#and i thought it was weird that like 2 or 3 people seemed to have VERY similar patients but did not question it further#…which is to say. i may be stupid.#and now i feel like dying because im gonna have to email my professor and TELL HER how stupid i am#and hope that she takes enough pity on me and my cursed brain to let me do it over properly#because my lab grade is now barely a 77 and i need a 75 to pass. and our final assessment is tomorrow.#i genuinely cannot live like this anymore im serious#i need a fucking brain transplant#anyway tl;dr guys please pray for me please please please im actually disintegrating rn#to delete later

the editor in me desperately wants to create an fcbf music video/amv using the wide establishing shots from all seasons... essentially acting as an antithesis to the abundance of "character vs character" amvs because i want to find (scavenge) and appreciate any ounce of cinematic beauty within this silly, chaotic, action-heavy card-game show that like 6 people care about 🙂↕️
#[ mio talks aloud: ]#future card buddyfight#also im curious to know how much i can actually colour grade anime stills without using premade filters#because most anime stills/shots don't have a variety or depth of colour like real-life stills/shots#which would be interesting once i start toggling with the highlights/shadows/midpoints#like will i just see a bunch of oversaturated pixels or will it enhance the image?#(can't tell if this is an actual concern or i'm just deepfried in assessments that anything becomes a ponderable question)

Therapy is so crazy cause they ask how you're doing politely and you smile and say "good, how are you?" And then they lead you to an office and 30 minutes later they're like "ok so you've scored 2 on the suicide risk assessment"
#like damn girl i didnt know i was getting graded on this. i should have studied (ok but actually i likd that she gave that detail)#cause most practitioners won't like explain specifics about the assessments they're doing#like what the questions are intended to determine and what the conclusion they got from your answers is#i appreciated it

How to Deal with a Bad Grade
Your teacher hands you out you test and you realize that you have made a bunch of dumb and silly mistakes so here 's how to deal with it. Once you get home you start something called a mistake journal, you write down every single question you got wrong along with your answer a correct answer and and explanation of why you fumbled. You use a color pen or a highlighter to indicate the difficulty of the question. And before your next exam you flip through the journal, review the hardest questions first and Good luck for your next exam.
