If i am asked what my favourite comic ever is i have 2 answers. One is planetary and the other is Astonishing X-Men
There's 3 things these comics have in common.
1 - The writers, Ellis and Whedon, have both turned out to be a wee bit problematic.
2 - Both are coloured by the excellent Laura Depuy/Martin.
3 - They're both drawn by the amazing John Cassaday who is definitely in my top 3 artists of all time. He's probably top tbh. He's gonna be missed.

If you've never read Planetary you REALLY should.

So I don’t recommend laying your books out on the floor with three cats.
Also - sorry (but not really - they’re all mine so I don’t think it’s harmful to anyone) to all the Proper Collectors™️ who keep their things in locked glass containers and don’t so much as breathe on them. Everything I buy gets looked at, touched, flipped through, taken down, and shown off to anyone who steps foot in my house 😂
Say a prayer as I organize these because I have a feeling I will be here for a while. My back already hurts.
My 601 book collection of comics.
A FUCK ton of snikt fam - but I forgot how much I actually do have of other things 😅
I started collecting like… 12 years ago? And other than some major story lines, I mostly only read snikt fam (excluding Wolverine - I like his kids only haha).
I had some duplicates - ACTUALLY - that Akihiro Pride variant?? IIIIIII apparently got it already 😂
My collection got bigger since the comic app shut down and I started just buying paper copies because my stupid ass doesn’t know how to work technology.
I started collecting after my high school graduation. I spent all of my grad money on a comic book store in one day. After that I started buying trades off of Amazon (for a while I refused to buy single books).
Laura is the first character I purchased content for (my sister’s was Akihiro - and then we would trade off).
I don’t know how this compares to other people? I feel good about it. I feel like my obsession shows.
