Been playing Atomfall recently since it's on Gamepass and I've been enjoying it mostly. I was in the woods section and traversing the bridge when I see just across a broken gap three cars filled with skeletons. At first I thought it was just normal skeletons but then I realized they were all positioned as if they were having a shouting match over the bridge being broken. Got a genuine chuckle out of me.

Second of all: Another nuclear apocalypse survival horror rpg came out. AND it's based on a real historical nuclear disaster close-call. AND there's a wicker man. So you know I have to check that shit out. I'll be streaming Atomfall tomorrow (Saturday the 29th of March) at 4pm GMT! And then again on Sunday, and next weekend. April's going to be a BIG month with two big video essays, my vtuber reveal, consistent streams, and more, and I can't think of a better prelude. Come along and enjoy:

I've been playing atomfall for 7 hours, and this is this is the shit I needed. Anyway, this is what the main character looks like in my head (when off the skill guy that you can see when you are picking a perk)

Atomfall is a retro-futurist (danger, will robinson), alternative history take on the 1957 Windscale fire. The great part of the game is that it is an open narrative. The player is given a vague objective and has to figure it out from there. It is not a linear narrative. The player finds and follows leads, of which there are many that point the player in different directions. Brilliant design.
