I can’t believe it’s been just over a month since I was in Vancouver celebrating the end of The Eras Tour. The Eras Tour really was rare, such a special experience that made a lasting impression. I wish we could all go back…back before we lost the one real thing we’ve ever known 🥺

is such a gut punch because imagine what a mind fuck it is to be so in love with someone and so sure they must feel the same way about you and they never reciprocate these big feelings you have in spite of leading you on and making you think, well, surely they do, right? Until they leave you, which leaves you completely crippled. BUT THEN, when you've tried to move on (and not and then move on again and on and on) THEN they come back and tell you what you longed to hear that first time, but it's after they've put you through all That. Can you even call it love after all of that? How does that completely warp your view of love, after all that?!
