So I noticed that someone (I think it was @chaos-is-my-lifeblood) came up with a ‘Truman Show’ AU, and I found myself wondering what a ‘WandaVision’ AU would be like?
👀 That's a cool idea! So, I would have Danny be Wanda in the au. It was start after his friends and family (his parents, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker, and Valerie) die in some tragedy, where he blames himself for their deaths. And going with the idea of Fentonworks being Danny's lair... a lair is supposed to ghost's personal heaven. It's tied to the ghost's emotions, powers, and subconscious. So Danny's grief over the losses causes his lair to change. It creates false versions of his friends and family and desperate to have them back, Danny gives in to the illusion. Is he just acting like they're still alive or does he really believe it? Either way, the illusion spreads over Amity Park.
I don't think Danny would subconsciously make his lair mirror sitcoms. He's want an idealized version of his life before. His parents know about him being Phantom and they love and support him. The town knows and he's a hero. He's got a good relationship with Jazz. He's got his best friends. I think I'd have him and Valerie end up together. I feel like she would work best to Vision's place in the au. So she's the one who slowly realizes that this isn't real and that she's a copy of the real Valerie.
The GIW would be on the outside, unable to get through the barrier around the town. And who would be Agatha? Hum.... Vlad's the obvious answer but what would be his angle? He'd want to get Danny on his side but the two knew either other so there's not mystery there. I would have Vlad working with the GIW on the outside. The GIW blackmail him because they know he’s a half ghost; they claim they’ll let him go free if he helps them get Danny. But Vlad plans to double cross them of course. He and their scientist work on a secret weapon.
And on the inside, our Agatha stand-in. It's Clockwork. Clockwork for whatever reason is lingering in the background, trying gently to get Danny to come to his senses and accept what happened. He doesn't play a major part, just acting as voice of reason but he'll be important later for Danny seeing the truth.
Either way, the conflicts revolve around Danny's grief, Valerie figuring out the truth, and the threat of the GIW.
It would have to end with the GIW breaking in. At the same time, Danny and Val comes to their breaking points. Danny can't deny anymore, his anger is spent, he can't bargain. He's depressed, at his lowest point. And Clockwork intervenes, taking him back through everything, all the pain that brought him here.
Danny decides to open the barrier, freeing Amity Park’s citizens and letting the GIW in. Danny and Vlad end up fighting because Vlad wants to drag Danny back to Wisconsin with him. And the twist...
With Vlad’s cloning expertise, they’ve made a clone of Valerie, equipped with the same ghost hunting suit that they salvaged from the real Val’s dead body. :( Illusion Valerie and the clone end up fighting, with the illusion Valerie convinces her counterpart to rebel against Vlad and the GIW; no version of Valerie Gray would let herself be used like this. An expression, a recognition flashes through the clone’s eyes with a hint of red, like her suit. And clone Valerie flies off, much like Dani does after Kindred Spirits.
Danny defeats Vlad and the illusion versions of Danny’s friends and family drive off the GIW. With the bad guys defeated, there’s a sense of heavy grief as Danny slowly lets the illusion his lair built disappear. He’s in the lab in Fentonworks when he says good bye to the illusions of his family and friends. They hug him and say they love him, just like his real loved ones had. But all of them know that this isn’t real. But the illusions remind Danny, even with them gone, he’s not alone. Through the portal, he has allies, mentors, and friends. He has Clockwork, Frostbite, and Pandora. He had Dora, Sidney, Johnny, Kitty, and Ember. And there’s still Dani, somewhere out there; he still has family.
Valerie’s illusion is the last to fade. And it’s more about Danny grieving what could have been than what he’s lost with her; the two were just starting to get to know each other, finally on good terms after so much conflict. But still, it hurts so much. Danny wonders why Valerie was the one to figure it out, that this wasn’t real. But he doesn’t have time to ask and other things are more important. She gives him a kiss on the cheek and says to go find her clone and help her; she’ll need a friend. Illusion Valerie gives him a sad smile and disappears.

Chaos ♦ Johnny Silverhand/Fem!V ♦ Part I
Summary - AU; In a future where both Johnny and V manage to survive. Each with their own body. Just when things are finally hopeful fate throws them both back into hell and while this is happening the two of them are struggling to figure out their ever-changing relationship. In Night City things are always chaotic.
------------------------------
This is a multi chapter long story so hope everyone enjoys the ride ♥
chapter warnings; swearing & minor spoilers
-----------------------------
I didn't think it would be possible, but it happened...
A future where both Johnny and I lived - in separate bodies.
No one dying.
Just hope and a fresh start.
A few days before my set meeting with Hanako I got a random call. The name was unknown and the voice was even disguised all of it just screamed- suspicious, but I still answered. Johnny wasn't too happy about it and started going on a tirade.
Something along the lines of we haven't the time for dumb side bullshit and I was wasting my breath on it. Also that corporats were just scheming again.
Blah blah corpo hate crap blah blah big boy rocker bullshit...
Since that call Johnny didn't say anything anymore. Guess the asshole just couldn't admit I was actually right and he was wrong. His poor pride....
One thing lead to another and the mysterious caller was able to lead us to this ripperdoc from out of the country. This guy was all kinds of weird, but he was able to fix ol' Johnny boy and me up easy.
It...almost felt like a slap in the face how quickly the problem was resolved.
All that hell and trouble was just gone in an instant...
The biochip was taken out of my head without me dying and then placed into a perfect replica of Johnny's body. Only a few things were missing like his cybernetics and his tattoos.
The body was a soulless sleeve cloned from Johnny's DNA in a lab.
Yeah....and I thought shit couldn't get weirder and I still don't have any real answers for why Johnny's body was being cloned.
Don't know if I do want the answers honestly...
Once Johnny's biochip was jammed into his new body he and I were placed in a medical ward at a private location under watch by the weird ripperdoc and a few unseemly nurses.
It took Johnny a few days to get used to his body. He couldn’t walk properly or even talk. He was like a toddler stumbling around only able to communicate through throwing things and punching shit.
I learned true bliss during this time.
Johnny Silverhand, rendered completely silent. Sure it was against his will since he was just a bumbling babe that couldn’t talk yet. But after having said rockerboy in my head for weeks I appreciated the unintended mute button that was placed on him- yup that was true bliss.
Watching him glare at me from across the room was enjoyable. The occasion middle fingers sent in my direction became a ritual greeting among us. I gladly returned each time to him.
While Johnny was in his training wheels stage with his new body. I on the other hand was literally going through my body becoming my own again. The ripperdoc didn't go into details only said my body was removing all traces of biochip's influence.
Mostly it meant I spent days in bed popping pills like candy as Johnny's tantrums lured me to sleep.
After a few weeks Johnny was fully transformed from an angry man toddler to his final true form - raging dickhead.
After his metamorphosis in true Silverhand fashion a few events occurred.
First - he decked the weird ripperdoc in his face and then marched off to Cassius to get his old tattoos again.
Second - went to the shadiest back alley ripper and had his arm cut off and replaced into his signature arm cybernetic.
He could have easily let Cassius fix his arm, but Johnny ranted about how overcharged the price was so of course, he sought out the cheapest unsafe option.
Third - he got piss ass drunk at Afterlife then got thrown out onto the streets shouting for a cigarette.
It was two in the morning when I got a message from Rogue to come and pick up my stray cat ...
While Johnny was off storming the streets in a blaze of hell after leaving the medical ward I was the opposite. Once I was freed to go I paid for the nicest hotel in the city and then I relaxed in a nice warm jacuzzi with a glass of my favorite booze.
After the chaos I had lived I deserved to pamper myself. I was free of my rockerboy brain tumor and life was looking bright again.
But I was naive to think I could go a day without hearing his name for even a few hours.
Once Johnny Silverhand pulls you into his orbit there is no escaping even if you wanted to.
Getting out of the car I felt my jaw lock anger slowly rising up into my veins as I made my way over to Johnny spread out on the ground waving his hand in the air and shouting for the bouncer at the back of Afterlife to get him a beer.
"What the fuck Johnny?"
Lifting himself slightly to glance at me the instant his eyes locked with mine that damn smirk of his danced across his face.
" So Rogue finally decided to call my babysitter shoulda fuckin' figured. Well since you are already here mind making yourself useful and getting me a smoke."
I took two deep breaths to calm myself and ran my hands down my face. Without a word, I spun on my heel and headed back to my car and I pulled out a pack of cigarettes from the glove box. I glared at the pack knowing that it was only there because Johnny snuck it in at some point in the past when he was in control of my body.
" Sneaky asshole. "
Closing the car door I marched over to Johnny and then threw the pack at his face making it smack hard into his head.
" Christ V, watch where you are aimin'!"
Nudging my boot into his side I crossed my arms and glared at him on the ground.
"Who says I didn't hit my target?"
Muttering curses as he set up Johnny took a cigarette out of the pack and then lit it before slowly standing up to full height. Closing the distance between us Johnny stopped just a few inches from me before leaning down to my level and blowing a long puff of smoke into my face.
" Real-fucking-charmer you are, V."
Not even coughing as the smoke dissipated my gaze remained locked with his as he stepped closer the burnt tip of the cigarette a hair away from my lips. I could feel the heat rolling off at it, but the only thing my attention was drawn to was the swirling emotions in Johnny's eyes as he glared back at me with full force.
" I aim to please, Johnny . "
---------------------------------------
I've been binge playing Cyberpunk since release and I've been wanting to write a story with Johnny since I started.
Finally got a plot worked out and will be updating this when I can.

VIGILANTE/S X
Tumblr media
part ten // 3.9k words // superpowered!au // series masterlist
summary; in which you consider yourself somewhat of a vigilante.
warnings; violence, mentions of alcohol, swearing, the usual
Tumblr media
This is gonna suck. Jaemin’s words echoed in your mind, and you couldn’t help but let out a half-hearted laugh. His hand on yours, you descended the stairs. Only once did you almost trip.
You felt a little comfort when you noticed Johnny and Doyoung at the bar, the former leaning against the bar comfortably, engaged in conversation with a group of socialites that surrounding him. Doyoung, behind him, was talking to the barman, his elbows on the bar, letting Johnny shield him from the high-pitched laughter.
Scanning the crowd, you spotted Jaehyun not too far from them, a tight-lipped smile on his face as he talked to a group of older men. Even from the staircase, you could see how tense he was, and couldn’t help thinking that if he squeezed his champagne glass any harder, it’d break in his hands. His eyes flicked up to meet yours, and you held them for a moment, before his attention was dragged away from you. You forced yourself to look away, and caught sight of Renjun standing by one of the open windows, a slight breeze ruffling his hair. He downed a glass of something and you watched as he vanished from view.
You’d never seen him enter the world of the dead – never watched him leave the land of living. Flicking your eyes over the people who had been standing nearby, you made sure no one had noticed. Luckily, everyone seemed to be so focused on their own conversations that no one had even seen him.
After a beat, you almost looked away – but your attention was caught by his reappearance. Not two steps away, Renjun suddenly appeared, his eyes wide as he clutched his hand to his chest. You watched him walk the few steps to a nearby waiter, grab a full glass of champagne and drink the entire thing in one gulp.
“You okay?” Jaemin’s voice cut through the concern and panic coursing through your veins. Your eyes didn’t leave Renjun on the other end of the room.
“Renjun,” you breathed, nodding your head ever so slightly in his direction. Jaemin followed your gaze, and you didn’t have to look at him to know his eyebrows were furrowed, watching his friend in confusion.
Renjun placed the empty glass on a table, took a deep breath and vanished again. He didn’t reappear.
“It’s hard for him, you know,” Jaemin’s voice was gentle. “Seeing so much death. He hardly leaves the world of the living – only for Donghyuck. But even then, he keeps one foot in our world.”
“I wonder what he saw,” your voice was quiet, your eyes still on the space Renjun had just been occupying. Jaemin cast you a sidelong glance as you stepped onto the ballroom floor.
“Nothing good, knowing this place,” his voice was slightly bitter. “Have you seen the others?”
Perhaps too quickly, you responded, “Doyoung and Johnny at the bar. Jaehyun at 10 o’clock.”
Jaemin stood taller, barely having to lift onto his toes to see over the crowd, and snorted, “Mark’s in line for the bathroom.” Something caught his attention and he frowned at something, but then turned his attention back to you, “Do you want a drink?”
“Please.”
“One minute,” he said, turning to leave. Your hand was still hooked with his, and you grabbed his arm.
“I’ll come with you.” He took one look at your face, his eyes softening, and nodded. You didn’t notice the small smile that tugged at his lips.
“This way,” his spare hand came up to pull your hand from his arm, entwining his fingers with yours.
After standing at the bar for five minutes, watching famous Supers and politicians be served before you, you leant up to say into Jaemin’s ear, “Maybe just champagne will do.”
He smiled at you before grabbing two glasses from a passing waiter. The waiter shot him a dirty look as he kept walking, quickly readjusting his silver tray. You noticed it was the same waiter who Renjun had taken a glass from, as well, but a quick glance around made you doubt it was the same one.
Every waiter looked the same. The exact same. Clones, you thought in awe.
As soon as the thought crossed your mind, you were bombarded with the sheer amount of power in the room. You couldn’t believe it had taken you so long to notice it – the panic from being here blocking out the dull headache you were feeling due to the power.
You could feel Jaemin’s power easily – his body so close it practically radiated from him – but it didn’t phase you anymore. You’d gotten used to how his power – how he – felt that you managed to block it out for the most part.
Now, surrounded by Supers who made their living on using their ability, in a room guarded by Supers, you felt like you were drowning in it.
Jaemin made a snide remark about someone who had just walked by, and you tried to focus on his voice, on his presence as he continued chatting.
You didn’t have to wait around for long – only an hour or so until you could leave the ballroom and head to the garage, fulfill the task you’d actually come here to do.
“Jeno’s here,” Jaemin’s voice was thick, as he stood up to stare at the entrance. When you turned, sure enough, Jeno was standing at the top of the staircase. His blue suit was tailored perfectly to fit his muscular physique, and his hair was even styled nicely. You’d never seen him look so… put together. Back at the warehouse, you’d never seen him wear anything other than sweatpants.
His face was grim, and you watched as he turned to talk to someone beside him – a girl in a beautiful floor-length black dress. She was stunning, with long, perfectly curled hair and a body that made you finger at your own dress, suddenly self-conscious.
Jaemin grabbed your hand, abandoning his drink as he made his way to the bottom of the staircase.
“That’s Jeno’s girlfriend?” You said, surprise filling your voice. You could finally put a face to the – well, he’d never told you her name. A face to the description, you decided.
Jaemin didn’t respond as you stopped in the middle of the crowd at the base of the stairs. His hand gripped yours tightly, and he sighed, “That’s not his girlfriend.”
“What?”
“Look,” Jaemin nodded at where Jeno was now descending the staircase with the girl, his hand holding hers politely. You only now realised how tense he was – how he held her hand away from his body, how his face showed no happiness. You hadn’t really thought about what Jeno would be like in a relationship, but surely it wasn’t this.
Jeno’s eyes caught yours but he showed no emotion, walking his date straight past you and Jaemin. The girl let out a squeal of excitement as she ran to a group of younger socialites surrounding one of the high tables and greeted them, throwing her arms around them happily. Jeno trailed along behind her, his jaw set as he nodded to each person in turn as he was introduced.
“She wouldn’t know anyone here,” Jaemin whispered, his eyes watching the girl. Her hand was now mindlessly wrapping around Jeno’s tie as she talked him up to her friends.
“Super strength,” you heard her say. “I keep telling him that! Don’t I, baby?” Jeno’s eyes were void of any emotion as he let out the fakest laugh you’d ever heard. “One day we’ll get him in the ring, I’m sure.”
Jaemin’s jaw set, and you could tell he wanted to interrupt, but then he was striking up a conversation with a nearby couple, his hand wrapping around your waist as he introduced you as his wife.
“Newlyweds!” You guessed the couple were in their late fourties, and they looked at each other like you and Jaemin were the cutest thing they’d ever seen. “Cherish the honeymoon phase,” one of them said to you earnestly.
“It never comes back!” The other laughed. You let Jaemin carry most of the conversation – your mind drifting to Jeno and his mystery date, Renjun’s reappearance, the power in this room alone…
“Yeah, there’s no love left in that relationship,” Jaemin mumbled to you as the other couple departed. You watched as they walked away together, before turning in opposite directions without so much as a word.
You snorted, “They seemed to believe there was in ours, though.”
Jaemin glanced at you, and you felt his eyes watching you before looking back down at his glass, “How ironic.”
Time passed slower than it did during your training sessions with Johnny, and by the time someone stepped into the middle of the dance floor, illuminated by a spotlight, you were ready to rip the eyes out of every person you’d talked to.
“And now, a word from our gracious host,” the butter-smooth voice of the announcer said. There was no way the Red Prince would be here. No way he’d expose himself.
Looking up at the upper level, the overlooking balconies that encircled the entire room, you noticed more Shields had been stationed there – observers. He’s probably here somewhere.
The sudden dread that overcame you was enough to make you want to vomit – the last thing you wanted was to see him. For him to see you. Traitor. Liar. Weakling.
He’d kill you on the spot.
Or maybe he’d get someone else to do it for him.
You peeked around the person standing in front of you and were surprised to see the scarred face of Reflux – perhaps one of the most notorious Super fighters attending. It wasn’t surprising that he worked under the Red Crown.
You knew that if Renjun were here – in the world of the living – he’d be whispering his entire backstory to you. How he had the ability to cause burns and boils to erupt on someone’s skin. How he’d been an underground fighter for years before being sponsored by the Crown. How he’d never lost a fight.
Jaemin’s hand squeezed yours, a silent question, Are you ready?
No. You squeezed it back, letting out a long breath. Yes.
Most of the guards had stationed themselves in the ballroom, meaning there’d be less throughout the rest of the manor. Perfect time to leave. You just had to make sure they didn’t see you.
You walked over to a table by the wall, the doorway to the corridor in view. Jaemin grabbed more champagne and handed you a glass, but this time you didn’t take a sip. Your eyes watched the door – waiting for the perfect moment.
A few moments later, you had your opening, another cloned waiter walked out, a tray of sparkly pink drinks in hand. The door began to slide closed again, that glowing green light on the lock slowly fading to orange, then red.
“Now,” you murmured to Jaemin.
You hadn’t used Jaemin’s ability much – but he’d trained you for this task. Super speed quickly drained you – your body not used to how fast it needed to operate to fulfill basic tasks at such speed. You’d trained enough that you could run at Jaemin’s speed for maybe thirty seconds. That was still enough time.
Jaemin vanished before you could even blink, and then you were right behind him. The entire world seemed to tip on its axis, blurring as you ran. The waiter who had just stepped out of the doorway was only a few steps from the closing door by the time you’d arrived.
Jaemin slipped through the door, holding it open slightly for you to squeeze through just before it was subject to close.
You were already starting to feel the effects of his ability, but he grabbed your hand and led you to the right, away from the kitchens and the waiters.
When you rounded another corner, you found yourself in a hallway that led back towards the building’s entrance.
“Slow down,” Jaemin reminded you, “or you’ll crash when you stop.”
You nodded and slowly waned your powers until you were merely walking briskly. Then you stopped, crouching down in the middle of the hallway.
“Okay?”
You nodded. “Okay.” You just needed a second to readjust. You felt around for the power you often clung to, but came up virtually empty. “It drained me a little more than I expected.”
“Yeah, I had to adjust our course. Saw a few people heading our way.”
You nodded in understanding, standing up. You swayed a little bit, and Jaemin almost reached for you, but thought twice and pulled back. Instead, he offered you a snack.
“You carry these around with you?”
Jaemin noticed the smile on your face, offering one of his own, and shrugged, “I get drained, too.”
You tugged at the bout of power you always felt radiating from him, and rolled your eyes, “I can feel your power. How very-not-drained you are.”
Footsteps in the distance alerted you of someone walking down the corridor perpendicular to this one, and you both silently agreed to depart.
As you got to the main entryway, you looked around the doorframe carefully. A few people milling about – mostly guards, though a few guests were walking back and forth, either just arriving or leaving early.
The footsteps were getting louder, and Jaemin looked at you, your shoes, and then whispered, “Don’t hate me for this.”
Before you had a chance to respond, he picked you up in one sweep and sped across the entryway, ducking behind the stairs before crossing into the western wing of the house. It was a few moments before he let you down, but when he did, you staggered out of his arms, heading for a potted plant and emptied your stomach into the soil.
Jaemin winced, “Sorry.”
You motioned for him to wait a second, and he leant against a wall, rubbing his hand down his face. When you turned around, you nodded, “It’s okay. Let’s just get this over with.”
Walking with as much grace as you could manage after vomiting into a no doubt expensive houseplant, you turned another corner and finally found the door you were looking for.
“Come on, Renjun,” Jaemin murmured.
You stood outside the garage door together, waiting. Then, there was a quiet click, and the sound of a deadbolt sliding open. The little touchpad on the side of the door beeped, and you noticed the words ‘Hello SU1248 Shotaro. Access Granted.’ moving across the screen.
Jaemin didn’t pay any attention to the message. Shotaro, whoever that was, was a Crown – the 1248th Crown, to be exact. SU? You didn’t think the Crown had many Unexplainables, if any at all.
You followed Jaemin inside and down the stairs to the lower level. Why are there so many goddamn stairs? The steps led down to another door, with another panel by its side that beeped and opened as you approached, and then you were in the garage. It was a large hangar-like space, filled with cars, motorbikes, scooters, vans, everything.
“Bet they have a boat somewhere.”
“How much?”
Jaemin just winked and started off down the rows and rows of cars. You didn’t know too much about cars – not exactly have the money or resources to learn – but you knew you weren’t going to be searching for a bright red convertible like the one Jaemin was looking at.
“What are you doing?”
“This is a new model,” he said, his voice laced with awe. You watched him squat at the back of the car to get a closer look. “Not even a fake.”
“Okay, and-“
“I don’t mean new like it came out this year,” he finally looked at you, a big dumb grin on his face. “I mean new like this is the first one they ever made. It even has the manufacturer’s – and this one.”
He’d spotted another car – this one a matte black – and was walking over to admire it.
“Since when do you know so much about cars?” You raised an eyebrow, but didn’t stop to listen for an answer. There was a row of shiny black cars ahead – one of them was surely the Prince’s.
Jaemin fell into step beside you, “Did Johnny tell you how he found me? Recruited me?”
“No one tells me anything.”
“Street racing.”
You couldn’t hide the surprise on your face as you looked at him. He stared back. “You were a street racer?”
He nodded, “Yeah.” He slid his hands into his pockets, his attention moving to look at the cars surrounding you. “I was originally recruited as a getaway driver.” Then that familiar cocky smile made its way onto his face, “Clearly I have other skills, and I was used more often, for other missions.”
“Why?”
He knew what you meant. He shrugged, “Felt nice knowing the world was operating at my speed. And I needed the money.” Jaemin looked at you for a moment. “My family… my dad left my mum when I was eleven, and she lost her job just after that. We didn’t have a lot of money to start with, but-”
“You started racing when you were eleven?”
“Twelve,” he corrected. “Back then it was just the car dad left us – a piece of scrap metal. But it ran fine.” Then his eyes fell to the tattoo on your wrist, and his eyes met yours, “How old were you when you joined the Crown?”
“Older than twelve.”
He laughs, “That’s it? That’s all I get?”
“You might have been ready to tell me about your childhood, but I’m not ready to tell you about mine.” You voice was firm, and Jaemin, rightly, did not argue. “You take the right, I’ll take the left.”
He nodded, then stepped away from you, walking along the other side of the mini road. You knew he was a few cars behind you, but you didn’t say anything as you scanned the cars silently.
It took a few minutes, but you found the right car, the recognisable detailing. The windows were tinted so strongly, you couldn’t even see inside through the windshield, even in the cool bright lighting of the large garage. “Hey, over here,” you gestured for Jaemin to come over.
He pulled out the device Renjun had handed you before you left the warehouse – under strict instructions not to give it to Jaemin until he’d sobered up – and bent down to scan the entire car.
At the other end of the garage, you heard the door open. You were too far away to be seen, but you looked to Jaemin in a panic. Wide eyes met yours and you ducked behind the car to where he was.
“Almost done,” he whispered, looking back down at the device. Scan 95% complete.
“Someone left the lights on,” a gravelly voice said from the entrance. And the exit. You wouldn’t be able to leave without them moving.
“Who was in here last?” A different voice responded.
“What, you gonna report them?” Gravel responded.
There was a pause. “Was it you?”
“No, you idiot. I’ve been with you the whole time.”
“SU1248,” the other said. “Came in five minutes ago.”
“Probably had an errand to run-“
“Door hasn’t been opened.”
You tensed. A hand on your leg made you look at Jaemin, and he held up the scanning device, Scan 100% complete. He slid it back into his suit jacket pocket then held a finger to his lips, Keep quiet.
You rolled your eyes and gave him a look that you hoped said, Wow. Thank you. I was just about to start screaming.
He raised an eyebrow at you, but the voices caught your attention again.
“What?”
“Garage door hasn’t been opened. He’s still in here.”
“That explains the lights,” Gravel deadpanned.
“No.”
“What now?”
The other one was getting annoyed with his partner now. Probably the stick up his ass, you thought. “If he’s in here,” the second said through gritted teeth, “where is he?”
You looked at Jaemin – but this time, you weren’t panicked. It was almost like he’d read your mind, because you both started moving at the same time.
Still remaining between the cars, you stayed low and moved towards the exit, towards the two Crowns you could still hear bickering.
When you reached the end of the row, you managed to get a good look at the two. Gravel was short but muscular – a Shield, probably – and was leaning against the stair railing, waiting for his partner to finish going through the garage door’s activity log.
His partner – Stickbutt, you’d decided – was tall and thin, with a hollow face. He looked like an evil librarian, with thick dark eyebrows and a perpetual hunch – a Mentalist, most likely. He didn’t look like he’d be too fond of continuous movement.
You reached for their power, attempting to clasp onto anything that came from them. It was easier down here with less people, and you easily managed to detect one – “Electricity,” you whispered, nodding at the shorter one of the two.
“And?” “And…” you frowned. Nothing? You reached further, harder, for a slip of power. If searching for the other’s ability was like grabbing at silken strings, searching for Stickbutt’s was like trying to grab at dust in the air.
“Y/n,” Jaemin drew out your name, bouncing on his toes, growing impatient.
But you made contact. It was like he’d purposely tried to hide his ability, kept it away from prying eyes like your own. Blinding.
“The tall one can make you blind.” Jaemin looked alarmed. “Temporarily, I think.”
“That’s comforting.”
But then you were both leaping out from your hiding places, Jaemin quickly making his way to the short one, delivering a swift punch to the gut, as you went for the other, drawing on Jaemin’s power to get you right in front of him then Stickbutt’s – effectively blinding your opponent.
He shrieked, “You idiot! You got me!” He stumbled away from you, but you grabbed hold of a metal bat that’d been leaning against the wall and swiftly hit him over the head with it. He crumpled to the floor.
“Y/n!” You turned to Jaemin, and found him leaning on the railing, staring at you confusedly. “Wrong one.” You frowned, then realised what had happened. Stickbutt wasn’t the Mentalist – Gravel was the Mentalist. You’d just knocked out some dumb Shield.
And Gravel was turning on you. You wouldn’t be able to fight him blind – but you’d probably be able to die blind. You probably will die blind if you don’t think of something. Gravel stared at you, a wicked smile on his face as he stepped forward. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Jaemin crawling away from the stairs, blinking rapidly as if it would clear his vision. The door’s lock sparked.
“Now, which one of you is Shotaro?” You narrowed your eyes at him. You felt a familiar tug in your chest as Stickbutt twitched. Then, you smiled back at him. “You left the lights on.”
“Do you want me to turn them off?” you gave him an innocent smile, drawing on all the power from his partner, gathering as much electricity as you could manage. You could feel the energy being seeped from the technology in the room, the lights flickering as you summoned it.
And then you let it rain like hellfire, directly onto the Crown in front of you.

Finding You
pairing; superhuman!mark x reader word count; 4.5k genre; strangers to lovers!au, soulmate!au, small angst, fluff, sci-fi(?)  summary; Mark falls in love, but it’s not the real him who meets you for the first time. It’s his clone. And although he can’t really remember everything, he’s desperate to find you again.
Tumblr media
( prologue. )  please read this to understand the following ♡
You remember the first time you saw him.
Guitar on his back, beaming eyes and a polite smile. You were standing behind the till taking orders at your campus cafe, your part-time job on most weekdays. You gleam at him, as he smiles up at the drinks menu. He adjusts his guitar strap on his shoulder when you finally meet eyes.
“What do you recommend?” His voice was a little deeper than you initially thought, it was nice.
You watch him for a few seconds, briefly chewing on the inside of your bottom lip, before looking at the drinks menu behind you as well. You already knew your answer, but you wanted the moments in front of him to last a little longer. And why not? There wasn’t a line being held up, so you turned to him with a smile, “How about a caramel macchiato?”.
He nodded at your answer, his hand already digging into his front pocket to retrieve his wallet. You punched in his order, asking him for the size of his drink and if he had any special requests for his milk and so forth. He still held that infectious smile on his face, shaking his head at your questions and handing you his money. Before he could walk away, your fingers are quick to reach the black marker next to the cashier.
“Your name?” You say, a bit breathless, with fluttering eyes and the tip of the marker on the side of the paper cup.
“Mark.”
“I hope you enjoy your drink, Mark.” You say his name as a little whisper, while writing his name.
He offers an eye smile, as he looks into your eyes. A small moment connected you both before his gaze left yours to walk away. You mindlessly watch him walk further away from your view, to wait for his order. Your hand places his paper cup on the side for your colleagues to make, as the next customer comes forward, pulling you out of your trance. Something about that moment made you feel a bit lightheaded yet so grounded, you couldn’t help but think about him for the rest of your nightshift.
The second time you saw Mark was a few days later. Sporting a comfy tee and jeans with his hair a little messy, as he walked around the campus. He was walking with a couple of guys, all equally as handsome. But Mark stood out to you the most though and this time his laugh grabbed your attention. He held himself a bit different, shoulders weren’t as tight. Almost relaxed, as you see the group settle onto the grass between the classroom/lecture halls where people hung out. If this didn’t confirm you were both attending the same school, you didn’t know what did. Yet, you never approached him. Maybe a bit shy that he wasn’t alone, but a part of you wanted to know if he did end up liking the drink you recommended. Mark was then pushed to the back of your mind as you put your books into your bag from where you were sitting, to leave the table. It was almost a week or so since the last time you saw him, and you were beginning to forget the small infatuation you managed to develop on Mark. That is, when he walks through the cafe doors. His head low and his eyes on his phone. The cafe was kinda empty considering the late hour. As he slowly approaches you whilst you were behind the till, your body posture gets less sluggish. Standing up right when you see Mark as places his phone in his back trouser pocket. “Hey,” He speaks with the same beaming smile you couldn’t get out of your head. “I’ll have a caramel macchiato,”. Your eyebrows raise at this, “So I’m guessing you enjoyed the drink?” Your hand reaching out to get his paper cup, writing his order before tapping it into the system. “Yeah, I did actually. It wasn’t bad, thanks for that,” He takes out his phone from his pocket to pay for the drink contactlessly. You write his name as he pays, and you notice he looks at you as you do so. “You remember my name?”.
You feel a little embarrassed, flushed as you timidly nod. Mark chuckles at you, “Cute… What’s your name?”. A part of you doesn’t really process much, because this is the longest conversation you’ve had yet. “Y/N,”.
“Cool, nice to properly meet you, Y/N,”.
You could only blink at him, liking the sound of your name on his tongue. Offering him a small smile you answer, “Nice to meet you too,”.
Tumblr media
After a few days, you noticed Mark became a regular at the cafe. He came by the place for most of your shifts, around the same time. He mixed up his choice in drinks, but each time he walked through that door, you felt more connected, more familiar. You begun having small conversations when he’d stay on late nights studying, when the store was empty. He often sat near the till, on the outer bend.
From what you gathered, he was hardworking, he was into a lot of creative things. Overall he seemed like a really nice person, and a part of you really wanted to get to know him closer… without the barrier of the till and wood separating you both. And today, you decided to do just that.
You waited. For Mark to walk through the doors. Your eyes peering over to your watch every half an hour. But he never showed up. You’d be lying to yourself to say you weren’t the smallest bit bummed out he never came to study tonight. You locked up that same night, pushing back questions of where he was… what he was doing. Ultimately, deciding to take the long way home. Walking through the campus, you passed a few students who were probably making their way to the library or doing the same as you. Making their way home.  As you walked alongside the street lights towards home,  a certain laugh caught your ears, and you turn towards it. An unexpected smile reaches your lips unknowingly to you. When you see the figure coming your way from behind you, you realise it’s Mark with a duffle bag in hand and wearing a tracksuit.
He wasn’t alone though, but it didn’t stop you from mindlessly reaching out your hand to wave hello as he came towards you. His friend talking beside him as Mark briefly catches your eye. Before walking straight passed you. Without question.
It did kinda hurt you, and maybe by now you were making excuses for him all day. But you had no reason to, if you were being truthful.
You slowly lower your hand, completely embarrassed that he didn’t recognise you. Slapping your face lightly a few times, you then cover your eyes with your hands trying to erase the image of him away from your mind. The way he side glanced at you, and how your eyes were literally looking at each other. You weren’t sure if his friend noticed you there also but you just shook the thoughts away. You readjust your bag on your shoulder, and pout the whole way home never once looking away from your feet until you just about reached your front door.
Tumblr media
“Hey, what’s the long face?” Mark’s back with that same goddamned smile. You childishly huff at him, motioning your head away from him. “I don’t like you right now.” He chuckles in response, and moves to the other side of the table that you were wiping down to clean.
“Hey, don’t be like that. What did I even do?” Humour laced in his tone, as he stands in front of you.
Mark pulls out the chair on the table and peers up at you, sitting down. Big eyed, and eyebrows knitted in concern; because he feels like he genuinely made you upset at something. You stopped cleaning the table to look down at his puppy eyed face, sighing at his unintentional cuteness.
“You walked straight passed me when I saw you the other day,” You confess, shrugging. Your grip on the cloth tightens a bit whilst he says silent.
“I did?” His voice was so soft, and he seemed confused even. “I don’t think so,” Mark’s direct with his words, and he feels like he genuinely believes so. You narrow your eyes at his expression. Maybe he forgot, maybe he really didn’t recognise you. You could’t tell, but the way he looks up at you, made all your petty sadness disappear. You laugh at him, a few moments after he slips in his silence trying to decipher his thoughts of said meeting. “If you say so, anyway… You want the usual?”.
Mark nods up at this, perking up with happiness taking over his expressions, smiling with a “No more long face.” As you both giggle to each other.
When you told you colleagues about his order, you turn your head over your shoulder to see if Mark was still sat on the table. He had his head in his hands whilst in deep thought. It concerned you that maybe something really was troubling him, but you ignore it.
Tumblr media
[Mark’s POV]
Lately he’s been getting dreams about a reoccurring girl. The way she smiles, the sound of her laugh. But it was always blurred out. More often than not, they were nice dreams and whenever he saw, said girl in his dreams; he would have a good day after he woke up. Through the weeks of seeing her in his dreams, he’s developed her into his good luck charm. He would find himself smiling in his sleep whenever he heard the melody of her laughter. The dreams gave him inspiration to write about love songs, about a mystery girl. “Yo, I swear she’s an actual dream girl,” Mark’s waving his hands in front of him, laughter in his eyes as his friends goggle at him. Johnny slaps an arm over Mark’s shoulder, shaking his head. “Yeah, yeah. Same girl in your dreams last night I’m guessing,”. Mark just chuckles alongside them, and pushes Johnny’s embrace away playfully. “But don’t you think it’s strange you’re seeing and hearing the same girl?” Jaehyun nods over to Mark on his left, arms leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table. Hands clasped together and against his lips with curiosity. Mark thought about Jaehyun’s words for a moment, slightly agreeing. He knows in his heart, it’s the same girl. Strangely enough not putting the pieces of his dreams and memories together. “I guess, but I’ve never seen anything like her.” You plagued Mark’s thoughts continuously as he went through his days. But he never seemed to click on anything. And in some sense almost feeling magnetic to the small cafe, furthest away from his dorm.
That’s where they were currently.
Mark stands up, with a hand out in generosity, “You guys want a drink?” He suggests to Johnny and Jaehyun at the table. They both shake their head ‘no,' their conversation fading out behind Mark as he walks over to the till.
That’s when he met you, girl of his dreams unknowingly for the first time. “Hey, a… hot chocolate, please?” Mark smiles at the cashier girl, his hands reaching out to pay. He looks up to you, a small smile entranced him as he sees you. The way you stood there, your aura. And then you connect eyes. He’s stood in place as the world blurs out, focal on you as you mouth his name. “Excuse me?”
“Mark, haha… I asked about your day.” You giggle at him, and he watches you put in his order though the machine before glancing behind you. Mark was a little confused about how you knew his name. But still played along, especially since he’s heard your laugh. The way warmth hugged his soul, as you laughed made him glue to your presence. “I had a ,yeah, a good day,” He slightly coughs up his words almost stuttering, as you raise your eyebrows questionably at him. He quirks his lips, a bit timid under your gaze. “Listen, I’m free later tonight, if you wanna catch up and talk a small while. I feel like I haven’t seen you around,” you suggest at him, and in Mark’s knowledge he knew better to decline. He liked the idea, even if you were a stranger. “Sounds good,”. Mark waited at a nearby table, in a not so creepy way, watched you ever so often as you interacted with other customers. It was like he was in disbelief that you were there. That you were real. He melody of your voice playing like the dreams he’d have. Mark felt like the universe was playing a tiny game with his reality. But the thought that you were a stranger never seemed to leave the back of his thoughts, regardless of how intrigued he was with you. Johnny and Jaehyun left Mark alone after an hour. And throughout the time they were there, Mark didn’t mention you. Maybe too scared to speak you out into the universe and cause you to slip away from his reality. Messed up with his own thoughts, and the lingering time confusing him, he walks out. Too scared to face you, and be in right in his tiny theories he’s made up while waiting for your shift to end. Mark knew it was wrong to agree with you then result in leaving. He just, felt overwhelmed by you. And he doesn’t understand why.
Tumblr media
[Back to You]
You were confused, stopping midway in your conversation as you watched Mark leave. Maybe an emergency? But, your heart sunk a little watching him leave. His facial features unreadable as he pushes the door open and walk out.
When you locked up that night, and made your way home, the thoughts of Mark still replayed in your mind. He felt a bit different earlier, a bit distance yet still as you remember him to be. You were happy with these little interactions you’d have with him, wishing on stars on your night walks back home that something would bring you closer. You wish you could have had his number, so you could message him. Ask if he’s okay. But you couldn’t, and being fair, by now you’ve developed a little more than a small infatuation on him. Deciding to yourself, that you do like him. And that next time you see him, you promise to yourself that you’ll tell him. No more hiding away from it. And you do see him, next day. Around campus, alone with that same guitar strap on his shoulder. “Mark!!!” You shout, jogging up toward him. Courage pumping your heart, as you approach him.
He stands there with a welcoming smile. The same distant feeling, but you ignore it. Pushing all your luck to gleam up to him, “Mark,” you whisper. “Yes? Can I help you?” Mark’s eyes lowered to your figure, and each passing second you start to feel more nervous. “You left yesterday… before I could talk with you,” You start to fumble with your fingers seeing Mark’s facial features become more and more unreadable. “I know, so crazy… But I really like seeing you come by the cafe. And I don’t know… Spending time with you is really fun and I want to get to know you more. I think maybe I like you, I don’t know, crazy! I know,” You’re starting to ramble because he seems a bit put off, and confused.
“You like me?” Mark’s gathered, that in some sort, being in a band and being friends with some popular guys would mean a few girls here and there would approach him. But seeing your flustered self, and the mention of spending time together, rings a little bell. Realisation settling in when he finally connects a few dots that, maybe it’s not the current him that you’ve taken an interest to. And as complicated as it seems, he’s still hopes that you’ll not feel in any way bad when he says, “I think maybe, you’ve got the wrong person,”.
His heart breaks a little watching you step back. You felt a bit defeated and confused by his words. Technically you haven’t got the wrong person, he knows that. You know that. But what he says is true. He knows, somewhere along his dreams and you. He understands you’ve been with his clone.
This part unknown to you.
Yet, he feels something connecting himself with your aura and presence as you stand there speechless. He still has those wavering feelings from the day before when he first saw you. “I- “ Before he could explain further, you’ve already started to walk off embarrassed. He walks behind you, “Hey,- Urm…” He tries to find memories of your name, to call you, but he doesn’t know your name. “Hey…” He calls out again, his hand reaching your elbow to stop you from walking away. To face him. `
He’s taken aback at the glazed tears brimming at your eyes, and he feels bad having to tell you. Trying to find the best way to explain to you, especially since he doesn’t know how to. He’s only ever told his best friend, Donghyuck and obviously his dad knows. But somewhere along the way of finding you, he didn’t think he’d need to tell anyone else. Mark feels it by the way his fingertips graze the skin of your elbow, you don’t feel like just anyone and he really wants to know you, he feels it. And maybe by the way you look up to him, he understands also why his clone was drawn to you. The way your eyes flutter up to him, waiting for answers. He gets why his clone kept coming back to you. He feels it, feels the way your presence wraps around his mind, and makes him feel grounded. Even if you were a stranger.
“I’m sorry,” You say, in the softest tone that it makes Mark let go. Already tangled with the million thoughts that ran 100 miles repeatedly. Mark curses at himself for having a complicated life, for having met you as his clone. “Don’t be,” He reassures you, his hands mindlessly grabbing hold of yours. There was a lingering silence holding your connected gaze. And you don’t find it in your strength to walk away.
Even stood at the campus, with people minding their business and surrounding you both. The tension between you both holds you still. “Listen to me,” Mark pleads a little, his eyes quickly casting over your surroundings before he takes hold of your wrist in hast. All of a sudden, your body has a mind of its own and it’s effortlessly following Mark. His fast steps towards a classroom. You watch him in silence as he finally reaches away from people. Mark looks into the small viewing window to check in the lecture room was in use. Seeing the lights off, and empty seats, he opens the door with his free hand. He guides you into the room, with a bit of strength, making your bag strap fall off your shoulder. You whip your wrist away from his grip, fixing your bag strap. “Sorry!” Mark’s quick to apologise, a small pout on his lips, one that you’ve grown familiar with. All the tension from before rolls away from your shoulders, “Why did you bring me here?” You ask, turning around to turn on the lights before hearing his sigh. “I-“ Mark is lost for words again. “I-, I want to explain to you, something, about me, and-“ He tries to start again, but pauses a few times to gather his thoughts. A part of him is thankful you’re so patient with him.  You just watch him, with an awkward encouraging smile. One that he feels comfortable returning. That same from you aura calming him, as he finds his words to attempt to explain to you again. “I’m a clone.” He spills out. Mark’s own eyes widening as you knit your eyebrows in disbelief and humour. “A clone?” You repeat after him, laughing a bit. Even he was taken aback at the way he tried to fend and explain himself.
“Yeah?” He replies.
You scoff at him, rolling your eyes at his words. “If you wanted to make some lame excuse about rejecting me, you didn’t have to do it in here. It was fine out there,” You reason with him, turning your back at him to leave the room.
“Wait- No, I’m serious…” Mark sounds a bit defeated, and you turn to look over your shoulder to see him with that same deep in thought look.
“Okay… I’m listening.” You cave into him, just like that.
He looks up to you hopeful, a small smile gracing his features. “I really am a clone though…” He tries once more. “It’s hard to explain… but, I think maybe you’ve been talking to my clone and… not well. Me.” There’s silence after that, before he sighs. “I usually use my clone for little things, and obviously I can’t do it all the time… but, I can… show you,”.
This peaks up your interest, seeing the way his nervous demeanour might be because he was somehow telling the truth. And you stay silent even more, hesitantly nodding your head at his suggestion. Mark saw it coming, but he didn’t really want to accept that you’d actually say yes. He kind of chuckles aloud, that your reaction was somehow similar to what he predicted. “Okay… Then can you close your eyes for a small moment?” Mark asks, still evidently a bit timid, but you whisper a small “Okay,”. Mark knows, he’s done it for years. But the feeling of turning into a clone always feels new to him. The way he feels his limbs stretch out, but feel contained all together is something he’ll never get used to. Thing is, he can make his clone for however long he wants, but his body’s always reconnect and he’s back to normal after 24 hours. He figured, a small show and tell to the girl of his dreams, wouldn’t hurt. And with that, you feel his hands… Soft, gentle over yours which covered your eyes. He pulls them down slowly, revealing your then shut eyes. He smiles to himself at how cute you were before he whispers, “You can open them now.” You peel your eyes open, catching his eyes. A few centimetres away from your face, a small glint of sparkle in his eyes as he looks into yours with a little concern. Mostly for his behalf. You stay like that a few moments before you catch a figure behind him. Your gaze diverted, and all of a sudden its like your vision expanded too fast as Mark steps back to reveal, just as he said he would, his clone.
You squeak out a small noise before clapping your mouth shut with your hand. Eyes widened as you watch them both, same facial feature; an awkward smile. Mark was telling the truth, he’s a clone. You shake your head at the thoughts, slowly walking towards them to use both your hands to poke each one of his cheeks. “No way, this is real,” You exclaim, looking at his clone and then back at Mark. “There’s no way,”. You repeat your words, and his clone takes the back of your palm into his hand. Leaving Mark with his cheeks poked. His clone smiles at you, as your other hand returns to your side, anticipating what’ll happen next. “Y/N… It’s me,” His clone smiles. The same smile from when you first saw him… “So your name is Y/N,” Mark interrupts, a small chuckle falling from his lips. “Cute,” He then follows after his words. You really became speechless, eyes continuing to look between the both. Mark really was a clone. You fell in love with a clone. “How…?” You whisper more or less to yourself. Mark takes both your hands, separating both his clone’s and yours touch. Guilt eating at him a bit since your gaze went to look back at his clone. “I told you, ‘You’ve got the wrong person,’," you chuckle at his words, shaking your head again to find your own theories of ‘How?’ “Listen, even though it was my clone… That you originally met. If I’m honest, I’ve been having dreams about you.” Mark leads on, but you get distracted seeing his clone start to fade into nothing. Another inaudible noise from you as your hand escapes Mark’s to point at his disappearing clone, Mark lets out an airy laugh at your reaction, “I’m making him disappear… Making him return to me,” He explains, and there’s genuine disbelief in your eyes, but you telepathically tell him to continue what he was saying. Somehow he understands, “I think the dreams I’ve been getting about you are from, well, him.” Mark smiles. “I mean, usually as a clone he writes little notes in my phone about what he does, but he never mentioned anything about you.” Again, finding things hard to comprehend, you still stay silent. Trying to understand. “And maybe, somehow we’re meant to be… I remembered you. Your laugh, your voice. I knew it was you the first time I saw you. I felt it,” It was Mark’s turn to stay silent. A part of you wondered if this was all real, trying to understand that maybe this was all true. That destiny was real, maybe even soulmates, as Mark stands there with you. Both your hands interlocked, and all that makes sense to you is how he made you feel. Regardless of his clone, it seemed that everything about him, made you feel like the world was okay. You’re reminded of the night shifts you spent waiting for him to come through the doors. You’re reminded of his smile, and his laugh. Even the tiny things, like how he’d look out the window when he say at the cafe. The way he sat so effortlessly handsome, reeling you in with each drink he bought at the cafe. Making you fall deeper into him, each time you wrote his name on a paper cup. His whole presence bringing happiness to you. “I felt it too,” You confess.
You accepted him, just like that.
Mark felt the upmost relief wash over him, every inch of anxiety he felt left his body as you smile at him. Especially when you let go of his hands to bring him into a hug. He melts into your embrace, thankful that you were so understanding. “You know, even though it wasn’t really me that spent time with you. I’d like the opportunity. Please stay with me,” He whispers into your embrace. A smile reaches you lips as you tighten your grip around him, liking the way he was being so endearing. You thank all the stars you wished on for granting your wish. You reply to him with clarity in your heart and with him in your mind, “Nothing that happens is ever forgotten, even if you can’t remember it.”
Mark smiles to know he finally found you.
Tumblr media

Going to post-game au scenarios
Scenario 1:
Through circumstances V is empoyed to get back johnny’s cryo’d body and install a spare copy of his engram and deliver him to the version of Alt that got herself a body in the ttrpg (presumably).
V has 0 intentions of treating him like our johnny because he ISNT so there’s lots of weird tension and V is between bitter and sad because that’s His Face but Not Him and they’re ommiting as much info as possible because, frankly its none of his business whatever their story with a different version of johhny silverhand’s brain is (not that he knows there even was one in teh first place and they’re keeping their lips sealed about that hopfully forever). And johnny can tell something weird is up because  grumpy, efficient V being and kinda brusque is fine by him, a merc personality like any other, but sometimes v looks at him with a weird intensity with an angry kinda painful look like he killed their cat or some shit. Obviously things don’t go as planned but im not sure how yet.
Bittersweet stroy/character study about V’s complicated relationship to johnny, te effects of his absence, the fact that despite this one is no V’s it’s still him to a degree with the same voice and shitty sense of humour. About who this new johnny is without all the character development, and him having to go through the realization that he isn’t the original and the world and people he knew must be different now (and how much of that slipped through the cracks of their connection with V’s johnny). The strange thought that This Alt and johnny get to have a happy reunion and the contrast in V’s johnny and alt’s interactions and ending.
Scenario 2:
V finds a clone of johnny at an arasaka lab but it's a child and they feel weird n conflicted about leaving him there so v steals him away and they think it would be better to leave them with someone safe but feels kinda responsible and also knows arasaka might go after them to make sure there is no loose ends. So i have 2 paths:
A) Takes care of him for long enough to find a safe place for him and expose arasaka and he gets happily adopted by whoever. This is your classic merc travels with kid. Probably an action/comedy á la Terminator. Or a total drama like Road To Perdition.
B) They raise him. Either they travel back and forth or they join the aldecaldos permanently, but V is officially his guardian. It’s akward and strange for everyone involved and it’s all about bonding with your new unexpected kid, about v’s failings and successes as a parent of a kid they didn’t plan in making part of their life, about individuality (again, lol) and making a clear distinction between him and their johnny, nature vs nurture like how much johnny is just...himself and what changes when being brought up in a community or with a merc parent.
And when he grows up, the past comes a-knocking and theres a lot of drama about it.And then maybe you get your classic YA novel scene where the elder who’s raised you dies when their past catches up to them and bites them in the ass and they’re like “oh no ive been waiting to tell you about this shit im so sorry u found out like this im so sorry *RIP*” and so our young protagonist gets thrust into a traumatic coming of age adventure to learn who they are and what to do about it or something all while having flashbacks of their childhood both the good and the things that looking back where super sus but he didn’t quite understand why they felt sus cos he had no context for them

When you’ve successfully claimed a fic, you’ll be put in contact with your author. If you’re participating as an author or as an artist, please keep a close eye on your e-mail.
Claimed summaries will be crossed out, so keep an eye on this post. Claims are first come, first serve. We may be opening for double claims this year once all fics have been claimed. Thank you!
ATLANTIS
Universe: 616
Rating: Teen and Up Audiences
Warnings: Possible consent issues (The fic centers around Johnny entering into a fake relationship with Peter, who has not disclosed their secret identity--however Johnny quickly figures it out, but does not disclose that he knows), Namor-typical marriage proposals (i.e. Namor has a history of threatening to destroy New York if the person he has proposed to does not accept, so it should be at least considered coercive). Mild angst because Peter Parker can’t make anything easy.
Current wordcount: 12,000
Summary: When Spider-Man’s best friend Johnny Storm asks him for help in tactfully declining a marriage proposal from the King of Atlantis, Namor the Sub-Mariner, the only solution is for him to volunteer Daily Bugle photographer Peter Parker to pretend to be dating Johnny at the Engagement Banquet in Atlantis. Sure, it’s technically lying to his best friend about who Peter Parker is, but the important thing is that Johnny won’t have to marry Namor, and if Peter gets some photographs of Atlantis to sell, what’s the harm? Peter thought the most difficult thing about this scenario was going to be making sure Johnny didn’t figure out Peter is actually Spider-Man. Having to pretend he wasn’t actually falling in love with his best friend never crossed his mind.
Featuring fake relationships, forced (almost) marriages, identity porn, traditional Atlantean clothing, overly-friendly octopi, a special appearance by Eugene, The Frog-Man, and a lot more emotional baggage than originally intended.
AVATAR
Universe: Legend of Korra AU.
Rating: Teen and Up Audiences, though, depending on how the next scenes unfold, might change it to Mature.
Warnings: Lots of Avatar references, Angst, jokes nobody will get, probably some violence.
Total wordcount: ca. 15k
Summary: Growing up together both Johnny and Peter were glad with the life they were given. They go to watch pro-bending matches together, practice Johnny’s firebending abilities and discover whether or not Peter should enter the spirit world. Then the Harmonic Convergence happens, Peter’s given airbending abilities and Johnny disappears. Sue seeks Peter hoping he will be able to help her find him. He is presented with his hardest choice yet: become the airbender Johnny said he could be, or go look for the one he secretly loved most of his live?
BOYFRIEND
Universe: AU
Rating: T
Warnings: a building burns down, underage drinking, minor PTSD, minor blackmailing, gay jokes + internalized homophobia (no outright or violent homophobia), love triangles, assumed infidelity
Current wordcount: 21,400
Summary: When Peter Parker saves Johnny Storm from a burning building, he makes a difficult choice: to reveal his face to him in order to make Johnny trust him so he can get them out of that building. It does the job and he figures that's the last he'll ever see of the kid, but on his first day of senior year, who should appear but the only person in the universe who knows his secret? Peter's friends realize that Peter is behaving oddly as he attempts to avoid Johnny and Peter says the only thing he can think of, which is that he ad Johnny hooked up at a party over the summer. When Johnny finds out, he is amused and offers Peter a deal: they pretend to be in a relationship so that Johnny, who is new and only has one friend, will look like he's popular and maybe popularity will follow. Tired of his own relationship drama, Peter agrees and somehow ends up starring in a school musical, going to Halloween parties, and developing feelings he definitely did not sign up for.

NEGATIVE ZONE
Universe: Canon AU from Fantastic Four #600
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Graphic Violence, Body Horror, Human Experimentation, Death, Bugs, PTSD

Summary: On the list of things Johnny thought he’d be doing today, stopping a full scale invasion from the Negative Zone hadn’t even made the top ten, though, admittedly with his track record it probably should have. He's just lucky Peter was here to help. They’d both made it through worse scrapes than this.  There was nothing to worry about...right?
Or: Johnny and Peter are trapped in the Negative Zone--a cruel place where Annilihus rules and you're left with the choice to either fight or die.  Featuring gladiatorial battles, bug resurrections, revolution, and oh my god, they were prisonmates.
NEW YORK
Universe: The Amazing Spider-Man (Webb movies)/Fantastic Four (2015)
Rating: Explicit
Current wordcount: 55,000
Warnings: Explicit consensual sex, canon typical violence including blood, canonical past major character death (Gwen Stacy and Franklin Storm), extensive depictions of grief/mourning, brief suicidal thoughts. But not everything is what it seems, and worse yet, Spider-Man wants nothing to do with the Human Torch.
In the wake of Gwen's death, Peter Parker has finally put the mask back on, but nothing's the same as it once was, and the thrill has gone out of Spider-Man. The Fantastic Four's arrival only makes everything worse. The Human Torch is good looking, he'll give him that much, but Peter has no plans of making friends. But a series of strange attacks and a fateful encounter on the docks may not leave him much choice.
Set post-canon for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) and Fantastic Four (2015). Johnny and Peter’s appearances are based on Michael B Jordan and Andrew Garfield. Fantastic Four (2015)’s Johnny is black and should be depicted so in the art.
STAR WARS
Universe: Star Wars AU

He's working with Sue, Reed, and Ben to foil the plot of Senator Osborn, who intends to cement his growing hold over the galaxy with the help of a weapon being developed by Reed & his lab partner, Victor von Doom. Reed finds a rebel contact and plans a hand-off for the weapon. Meanwhile, outer rim pugilist Peter Par Ker is convinced by his ex-girlfriend Felicia Har'dee to take a courier job: transporting a stolen weapon from the Senatorial Gala to her own "rebel" contacts, by infiltrating the Gala in the guise of Johnny's intended date. Featuring X-Men cameos, star wars curse words, and a much-too-convoluted combination of fake dating and assumed identity. Not featuring: a conflation of Spider-Man clones and Star Wars clones, but only because I'm saving it for the sequel.
VILLAIN
Universe: Villain! AU

Warnings: Graphic Depictions of Violence. It's canon-typical for the most part.  It would be canon-typical violence and descriptions of blood and cuts during and post fight scenes.

Summary: Johnny knew the Spider-Man since he first moved to Manhattan. Well, he knew of him. He knew of the countless people who claimed to be mugged by the Spider-Man. Destruction and death has always been linked to his name, from Captain George Stacy to the District Attorney. And now, the deaths have turned into murders -- with red spider tracers as a breadcrumbs. But when the so-called dangerous super villain saved Johnny from being mugged in Bryant Park as a teen, Johnny wonders if the Spider-Man is as bad as everyone suggest he is.
Years later, when the Spider-Tracer Murderer is in full swing and the Fantastic Four are a welcomed part of New York, Johnny runs into the Spider-Man again. This time, he's determined to stop him. Maybe it's because he knows his true identity. Or maybe it's because Spider-Man stole Johnny's favorite jacket. Either way, they both find themselves in more trouble when another villain attacks and attempts to kidnap them both.
Through lacerations, abrasions, and bruised egos, they found their way back to the Baxter Building and found themselves falling in love with each other. But Johnny feels a little uneasy when the Spider-Tracer murders start to pick up again -- and targets villains that know about their relationship.

What I Didn't Write in 2016
Plotbunnies that I never ended up writing (and, if I'm going to be honest with myself, probably never will).
Ghost Allison - Death wasn't enough to stop Allison from protecting her friends. (ETA: Never Mind.)
Jordan and Derek, Guilty (BR)OTP Fic (Unrequited Marrish and Sterek) - Jordan and Derek hate themselves for loving Lydia and Stiles. >:)
Post Season 2 Allison/Lydia, with Pregnant Lydia - Jackson impregnated Lydia just before he died in the Season 2 finale. Allison steps in.
West Wing Sterek AU - Stiles as the First Son, and Derek as the President's assistant. They are basically Zoey and Charlie. That's it, that's the plot.
Stiles-Centric AU (Witch!Claudia -> Warlock!Stiles) - A completely plot-less AU/idea about Claudia having been a powerful witch, and Stiles having inherited some magical ability from her.
Sheriff Stilinski Was Once Johnny Cage (Stallison or Gen) - altered to fit the Teen Wolf universe, the events of the Mortal Kombat movie were the manipulations of the nogitsune, before it was re-imprisoned back in California. When it escapes again, it intentionally possessed "Johnny Cage's son".
Avatar Scott AU (Sciles) - Scott is the Avatar, and Stiles is his non-bending best friend who he doesn't go anywhere without and who helps him learn. The Swamp Tree is called the Nemeton, and the academic fox spirits at the library are getting corrupted, which leads to one possessed Stiles.
Werewolf!Sheriff (Sterek) - The Sheriff gets Bitten, comedy and angst ensue. Let's be real, if I wrote this, it would mostly be angst.
Teen Dad Stiles (Pre/Post Sterek) - Babies don't make everything better, and in fact can ruin your lives, especially if you're a teenager.
Chris/Melissa/John Fic - What was originally a farce just to fuck with Rafael blossoms into an actual relationship. Their kids...try not to think about it.
"Seraph Stilinski" (Gen) - Claudia was a demon, the Sheriff is an angel, and all the forces of Heaven and Hell are deadset on making sure the world never finds out they had a kid together - the best way to do that being to kill the kid.
Stiles Number 7 (Clone AU, Derek & Stiles, Derek's POV) - Stiles is one of several clones, who are all based on Dylan O'Brien's other acting roles.
Trans Scott Fic (Scott & Stiles - Possible Sciles?) - Scott was born female, but is a boy. Stiles was his first and fiercest advocate, which is why the nogitsune acts like a transphobe the moment it possesses Stiles.
Details below!
Ghost Allison
ETA: So I ended up not only writing a fic for this one, but making a fanvid as well. Go figure.
Exactly what it sounds like: Allison is a ghost. I play around with various ghost mythologies, but the end result is that the pack realizes that Allison never left and she's been with them all along (which is why no one in the pack ever died after 3B). She sent Scott back after Theo killed him, she nudged Lydia in the right direction when she was in Eichen House, and she intentionally made Scott think of her when her own ancestor, Sebastian, tried to claw him for the memories.
This one, though, I'm actually not writing because I have an idea on how to make it a fanvid, instead. ♥
Jordan and Derek, Guilty (BR)OTP Fic (Unrequited Marrish and Sterek)
Basically, a fic which takes the age differences seriously. It's a lot of Jordan and Derek slowly realizing the other one is also, like themselves, attracted to a teenager (who, even while "legal", they just do not feel comfortable trying to start a relationship with, for many reasons, age merely being the biggest one).
It oscillated between humorous (the boys commiserating over the snarky teen geniuses they're in love with) and dark (the boys sleeping with each other and openly using each other as a "distraction" from the kids they are in love with). It was going to end with these two working behind the scenes to set up Stydia, figuring that Stiles and Lydia were better off with each other than with them, and then Derek and Jordan kinda parting ways and moving on, better able to love their respective teenagers from afar.
Post Season 2 Allison/Lydia, with Pregnant Lydia
Inspired by this gifset. Jackson actually died in the Season 2 finale, and Lydia found out she was pregnant with his baby soon after - and with Jackson dead, she refused to abort it. My twist is that Lydia's pregnancy is progressing against the backdrop of canon (though in an AU where, because Allison stayed to help Lydia through the pregnancy, she helped find Erica and Boyd, meaning they lived, and the Hale pack was more cohesive by the time Deucalion made his move). Lydia is explicitly targeted by the alpha pack because of her pregnancy (since the pack is an actual pack in this AU, practically everyone sees Lydia as family, and thus her baby as their future niece/nephew). The nogitsune tried to make her miscarry - though thankfully, it failed, if only barely. The fact that it was distracted attempting to cause the miscarriage meant Allison survived, though also only barely. Lydia was with Derek when Kate attacked, so the baby was born prematurely. Allison - at this point fully in love with and dedicated to Lydia and the baby - is furious, so when the pack goes to rescue Derek, she kills Kate for hurting Lydia and potentially killing the baby. Luckily, the pack comes back to Beacon Hills to find Lydia and her baby daughter are safe and on the path to recovery. The baby is named Jackie, after her lost father, and everyone loves her and all the bullshit of Season 4 never happened. The first full moon even reveals that the baby is actually going to be a werewolf, which Lydia is - much to everyone else's surprise - delighted by. Lydia is grateful to have the power to protect her friends, but being a banshee is traumatic and she's glad to know that her baby won't have to suffer through it. The epilogue is Satomi introducing herself and her pack to Scott and his pack - not from the fear and death of the deadpool, but to celebrate the new arrival to Scott's pack.
West Wing Sterek AU - First Son Stiles
Derek comes to the White House looking for a mailroom job, needing to support himself and his sisters after the rest of his family is killed in a brutal housefire. Due to a series of shenanigans, he gets hired as President Stilinski's body-man/personal assistant, instead. He eventually ends up dating the First Son, Stiles, and life seems good for him...until the First Family, the staff, and Derek are shot at by Neo-Nazis, because they object to the First Son being in a gay relationship. They stick together through that, though they split up later for personal reasons...yet Derek still loses his mind when Stiles' new boyfriend's stupidity gets Stiles kidnapped. As such, they eventually reunite (with only a little bit of meddling from Stiles' dad.) (This based off the Zoey/Charlie arc in The West Wing. Charlie's mom was a cop killed in the line of duty, and the Neo-Nazis attack because Charlie is black while Zoey is white. After they split, Zoey's new boyfriend gave her some E despite her already saying she didn't want it, and while he had no nefarious intentions beyond that, this made her vulnerable and led to her kidnapping.)
Stiles-Centric AU (Witch!Claudia -> Warlock!Stiles)
AU where Claudia was actually a very, very powerful witch. Stiles and the Sheriff have known about the supernatural world all along (Scott only found out after he was Bitten), and this somehow nebulously led to no real change in the events of Season 2, but after it, Erica and Boyd were saved from the alpha pack, and Allison stuck around town instead of leaving, so come Season 3 - when the story starts - the pack is a more cohesive pack, Allison is rebuilding her Hunting group/"family" with a new code, and Stiles is formally training to become Derek's emissary (and then Scott's, once Derek gives up his spark to save Cora, while Scott becomes the True Alpha). This one, I chose not to write because while I had some individual scenes and such planned out, I had no actual plot in mind.
The closest was some weird rom-com bullshit in which a coven comes into town and accuses the pack of breaking into their stuff/breaking some old wards of theirs. It's about to turn into a fight until Scott and Stiles show up and recognizes "Stiles's mom's book-club friends", and the witches recognize Scott and Stiles. They have trouble believing that the little boy who used to play with Stiles is now a True Alpha, but they do realize Stiles' "breaking" the wards/shields were genuine accidents - those shields were originally set up by Claudia, and the only thing more powerful than them are talismans she gave to Stiles and the Sheriff (made out of the Sheriff's old dog tags). They actually want Stiles to come with them, but they shrug it off when he declines and chooses to stay with his pack. One of the witches who is new to the coven tries to instigate a fight, but they're all like, "we can't fight them, we helped potty train them!" That's quite literally the extent of my planning for this fic. :P
Sheriff Stilinski Was Once Johnny Cage - Mortal Kombat (Stallison or Gen)
AU where "Stilinski" is actually Claudia's family name, which the Sheriff changed his name to in order to escape the fame of his movie days - he was actually born as Johnny Cage. Kitana was 'merely' a thousand years old, and a kitsune (halfway through the story, we find out she's Noshiko's older sister). Liu Kang is like Deaton, a Spark/Emissary/monk/user-of-magic (he grew up learning it, ran away from it, and the events of the movie were him coming back to that heritage). Sonya Blade is a Hunter from a Russian/Russian-descended family that has a testy relationship with the Argents (though she's not the leader yet in the events of the Mortal Kombat movie). The events of the Mortal Kombat movie were altered, so that it turns out the sorcerer Shang Tsung wasn't working for some other-dimensional demon, but the nogitsune (which Kitana accidentally released in the process of looking for her long-lost sister). The "tournament" was an elaborate human sacrifice ritual to superpower the sorcerer (and then/thus the nogitsune). Luckily, this original badass quartet managed to put a stop to the preceedings, and put the nogitsune back in its prison in California. Unfortunately, they were not able to capture Shang Tsung (which is why he later turns up leading a Yakuza ring right under Johnny Cage's nose in Beacon Hills - the actor playing Silver Finger is the guy who played the evil sorcerer in the Mortal Kombat movie). The story starts a few decades after that, though. Stiles is still very much the guy we all know and love, except that he grew up learning martial arts from his dad, his godfather "Uncle" Liu, and his godmothers "Aunt" Sonya and "Aunt" Kitana. (It's mostly just a hobby for him, something he does with his dad on the weekends.) The Sheriff and Stiles are both attempting to figure out or solve the supernatural drama, but from different directions. Both are attempting to protect each other from it, so neither of them know that the other one is involved until Matt's attack on the station, when they both know the kanima when they see it. Stiles learns the truth about his Uncle and Aunts, with Liu and Sonya even coming to town (though they don't really make it until after the Season 2 finale). Liu helps Stiles get started on learning how to be an Emissary, while Sonya (now the leader of her Hunting family) helps Allison clean up the Argent family and its mess. Kitana doesn't show up until the events of Season 3B,  which is when it comes out that she and Noshiko are estranged sisters. Since Stiles genuinely sees Kitana as his aunt, this leads to him and Kira viewing each other as something akin to long-lost cousins. The joy of newfound family is short-lived, since the nogitsune has escaped yet again - and it wants revenge, which is why out of all the people it could've taken, it chose to possess Johnny Cage's son. >:) This fic was going to have a lot fun parallels between two quartets - the "original" quartet of Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, and Princess Kitana, against the "new" quartet of Stiles, Allison, Lydia, and Scott. However, it wasn't a fic I could really write about a single event or short period of time. Conversely, I didn't want to start yet another long, drawn-out, and heavily involved AU, when I'm already writing three of them.
Avatar Scott AU (Sciles)
From this post. Avatar AU, where Scott is the Avatar, and Stiles is his non-bending best friend and companion. Scott had many earthbending masters, though his most valuable lessons came from Stiles' father, the metal-bending Chief of Police. The Fire Nation hasn't attacked yet, but aspirations for world conquest are simmering in its royal family, the Argents.
Allison - a Yu Yan archer - has been exiled, ends up befriending the Avatar, and finds him the best fire-bending teacher possible: Kira, a lightning-bender. Monk Deaton teaches him airbending, as well as how to take care of the air-bison and all the other creatures of the Avatar world. (He is also an avid Pai Sho player, and taught Stiles how to play - and gave him a White Lotus tile when the boys finally left the temple after Scott mastered air-bending.) The Hales are the chiefs of the Water Tribe, who have always lived by the moon, and Derek is the one tasked to teach Scott water-bending.
Scott's first "mission" as the Avatar is to find out who is trying to attack the most spiritual tree in the world, the Nemeton. Before he tries, though, he has to go to The Library to learn about it. Unfortunately, something has been corrupting the fox spirits there, which no one realizes until one takes Stiles away from Scott. This was a premise, but there no actual plot to this, hence why I didn't write it.
Werewolf!Sheriff (Sterek)
In an AU where Erica, Boyd, and Allison all lived, and Isaac, Jackson, and Cora never left. Stiles has been instrumental in training all of them (especially once he sees what a disaster at it Derek was.) Werewolf shenanigans leads to the Sheriff getting Bitten by some rogue alpha, so now he has to learn how to be a werewolf. There are some good sides - he's loving how useful his new, enhanced senses are in his investigative work, and Stiles lets him eat whatever he wants. Unfortunately, he doesn't react well to the news that he can never drink again, and his first full-moon is trauatizing for everyone.
It was a lot of themes about how growing up can change your relationships with your parents and other parental figures around you. A big part of the story is that the Sheriff largely sees Scott as something akin to another son, but Scott has to be the Sheriff's alpha in order to protect him and everyone around them - and Stiles often unwittingly follows suit, as the Emissary. So their relationships kinda get flipped on their heads. And remember all the psychological nastiness of Scott's first full moon, and the physical violence of several other characters' first full moons? Yeah, imagine the Sheriff doing that, directed at his actual son and his adoptive son. >:)
(Despite not having enough of a plot to bother writing this, I did somehow develop plans for a sequel where this happens all over again because Melissa gets Bitten, too. However, in her case, she just asked Scott to Bite her, so she made an active choice to become a werewolf, well-aware of all the strife that would come with it.)
Teen Dad Stiles (Pre/Post Sterek)
Stiles and Malia didn't exactly use protection when they screwed in the basement of Eichen House in 3B, and Malia gets pregnant. In this AU, though, she never wanted to stay in the human world, so after she gives birth to the baby (toward the end of summer, just before senior year), she regains her coyote shift and returns to the wild - for good. Stiles is left with a baby, and the whole pack is supportive, and Derek in particular chips in a lot, since the baby is family (via Malia), and he's feeling a little bit responsible (for a variety of reasons). However, this isn't a feel-good fic where babies make everything better. Even with all the support in the world, being a parent is tough, and being a teen parent especially so. Stiles struggles with being a teenage father, and affects his social life, his ability to handle supernatural problems, and his grades - and with them, his career aspirations. He resents being a teen father, and slowly starts to resent the baby. Babies not only don't make everything better, but Stiles starts to feel like the baby ruined his life. Derek - seeing what could happen to the baby if she were raised by someone who resented or even hated her - demands full custody, and even threatens to sue for it. Stiles is resisting mostly because of what a massive blow to his pride and his sense of self this is, though also because he feels like Derek taking the baby out of obligation wouldn't be much better. (His resentment of being a teen parent is so deep, he doesn't realize that Derek - in a much better place in life to raise a child - actually looks forward to having a kid to take care of.) Derek is about to force the issue, but everyone remembers that while Stiles is the father, he is still a teenager, which is why the final say/official custody actually fell to the Sheriff - who saw the same thing Derek did, and thus agreed that the baby should go to Derek instead of staying with Stiles. The fic ends with the epilogue, which takes on the baby's first birthday, and when Stiles is getting ready to head off to college. There are no promises that Derek will wait for Stiles, nor that Stiles will ever "come back" or reclaim the baby. But Derek will always be there for Stiles, and while Stiles may not raise the baby, he will still be a big part of her life and try to do right by her in his limited capacity.
You can probably see why I didn't write this. Look, I'm sorry, but no matter how cute they are, sometimes babies not only don't make things better, they really do ruin people's lives.
Chris/Melissa/John Fic
This was a pretty cutsey fic idea, set in some nebulous post-S4 world, but where Allison lived and Isaac never left - and where Rafael McCall did, indeed, come back to Beacon Hills like he said he would in Season 4. However, he seems to be trying to 'reclaim' his place in the McCall family, refusing to see that Melissa has no interest in reuniting with him or that Scott neither wants nor needs him. (I consider this to be very OOC for him, though, which is a small part of why I didn't bother writing this.) The story actually begins after some minor supernatural scuffle results in Chris and the Sheriff crashing at Melissa's place for a night while the kids are out and about. The next morning, Rafael happens to barge into the house unannounced, sees Melissa making breakfast for Chris and the Sheriff (with Chris and the Sheriff in boxers and tee-shirts, since Melissa didn't have anything that could fit them), and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Rather than disabuse him of the notion, though, the three pretend they did, indeed, have some kind of threesome, leading to Rafael to storm off in disgust. They actually continue this facade for a while, much to the kids' amusement - it seems like the perfect way to throw people off their tracks, while making Rafael (and a few other interested parties) not think twice about some strange behavior. However, the fake relationship eventually grows into a real one, the three of them banding together to take care of and protect the kids in the face of all the supernatural crazy that is Beacon Hills. Their kids do find out that this "fake" threesome has become a real one. They struggle with it at first, for different reasons, but eventually come to be glad for their parents. (Mid-way through college, the two men knock up Melissa. The kids' reaction mostly boils down to teasing the parents for getting into an accidental pregnancy after having spent years lecturing the teenagers on practicing safe sex specifically to prevent something like this from happening. But when their baby sister is born, they spoil her to bits.)
"Seraph Stilinski" (Gen)
A kind of very dark Good Omens crossover/AU, with a lot of Saga undertones to it. Heaven and Hell have long been at war with each other, a conflict as old as humanity itself. One of the most powerful Arch Angels and another very powerful demon left their respective sides after falling in love with each other. They became human, which hid them from their former comrades, and spent multiple lifetimes together like this. Eventually, they even had a child together, taking great pains to make it look like that child was adopted, should someone unfortunately discover them. However, they realized too late that the process of having a child would doom the mother - which led to Claudia's human form deteriorating. She probably could've been cured just by undoing the human body and returning to her former self, but to do that would've been to reveal her location to the depths of hell, and possibly the truth about her child, so she died rather than put her husband and Stiles at risk. Supposedly, the Stilinski family happens to have been in Beacon Hills for a long time, and have passed down some uncanny resemblances, which is one no one questions it on the rare occasions they could swear they see John (or, I guess he's Noah, now?) in some decades-old photograph or century-old painting. However, some things aren't adding up, and by the end of Season 2, Stiles knows his father isn't human, and is a lot older than he looks. But the Sheriff is keeping remarkably tight-lipped about it all, which doesn't make sense until Stiles is possessed by a demonic fox-spirit...who the Sheriff says is, in the closest approximation to human terms, Claudia's brother - and thus, Stiles' uncle. And to think Derek thought he had it bad!
I also didn't write it because it was sprawling into some multi-million year angelic/demonic conspiracy. The reason why Claudia and John tried to hide that Stiles was their kid was because a angel-demon child was taboo, due to myths that such a child would be tremendously powerful. They were very confused when their baby was human, though relieved to see this would make him easier to hide. However, various "higher ups" in both Heaven and Hell still want this kid dead, and eventually, everyone figures out why. It's not that Stiles is particularly powerful, but that all humans are - they are not bound to any concept, object, element, or natural entity like angels, demons, spirits, and most supernatural creatures are. Things that devastate other creatures - iron, salt, silver, etc. - humans cloak themselves in, and powerful roots or herbs like mountain ash have zero effect on them. Despite humans being so physically weak and slow and their senses being so dulled, they've taken over the planet, and they can even leave it, a concept that up until recent was deemed impossible by everyone on and around Earth. In the purely physical sense, humans are "weak", but from the supernatural standpoint, humans are tremendously powerful (and/or rather, invincible). So why to the "higher ups" want him dead, if all humans are powerful? Well, Stiles is proof that all humans - all of humanity - are descendants of angels and demons. That thing about the conflict between heaven and hell being as old as humanity? Well, Heaven and Hell - angels and demons - predate humanity. Stiles - a confirmed child of an angel and a demon - is living proof that they weren't always at war, and that in fact there was so much fraternizing/uniting between these two sides, they created enough "demon/angel children" to create a whole new species: humans. Stiles is living proof that angels and demons can coexist peacefully, so of course everyone wants him dead before word of this gets out. This got very convoluted and extremely Sheriff-centric (with surprisingly little of Stiles or the pack in it), so I never bothered writing it. The Sheriff is popular, but not that popular/not on his own, so I doubted this would get read much, and if it's just for myself, why bother writing it when I can enjoy a story in my head?
Stiles Number 7 (Clone AU, Derek & Stiles, though surprisingly not necessarily Derek/Stiles)
A Clone AU, loosely based off of the tween novel series Amy Number Seven (which is like the middle school version of Orphan Black, but focused on the character coping with the clone background after finding out about it, rather than the clone mystery itself). Mostly Derek's POV. Basically, Seasons 1 and 2 are largely unchanged, except there are multiple implications that Stiles was kidnapped as a child and only recently returned home, but Derek doesn't know or figure out the details. Meanwhile, throughout these events, Stiles and Scott make a lot of references to Stiles getting help from mysterious "cousins" and "brothers".
After Matt's attack on the police station, Stiles calls in those mysterious cousins. Derek meets this AU's version of Minho, Brenda, Theresa, and Newt when Stiles goes missing after the Championship Game in the S2 finale. They are Stiles' "cousins", and despite the fact Stiles has been kidnapped, everyone agrees Stiles was kidnapped by "someone local", so the problem isn't big enough to warrant calling in Stiles' "brothers" just yet. Derek still had no clue what the fuck is going on, but not only are Stiles' cousins clearly child soldiers, Stiles himself actually manages to disable Gerard in that basement, and he's the one that frees Erica and Boyd. The warehouse battle still happens,  and Stiles' mysterious cousins vanish soon after, and Derek is still very confused - even more so because Stiles is disturbingly competent and militant when it comes to finding and rescuing Erica and Boyd. (And also because Stiles disappears to "go help his cousins/brothers" once or twice throughout the summer.) However, the nogitsune is a BIG problem, which is when Derek gets to meet Stiles' "brothers" - clones.
These clones are all basically OC's inspired by/based on Dylan O'Brien's other roles. In this universe, the kids were made by some evil organization trying to produce soldiers, and these kids were the experiments/subjects. They survived, escaped, etc. - and now this story is about their lives afterwards. (The "cousins" were various experiments in how to amplify certain human strengths, while the "brothers" were just an experiment to successfully clone human beings. The next step was basically to "combine" these two experiments - clone people with those amplified traits - but these kids escaped and destroyed the organization doing this before that could happen.)
This was going to be fun once Stiles' "brothers" roll into town, because neither the pack nor the "cousins" are willing to kill Stiles - but his brothers are, and in fact are setting out to do that, leading to the clones working against the pack and the "cousins". The clones are all completely normal humans, while the pack are obviously supernatural, and the "cousins" have some superpowered traits (amplifications of hints of what we saw in the books), not to mention they've got the law and Hunters on their side (via the Sheriff and Allison). Despite this, the two sides are pretty evenly matched. Later, Stiles thinks that his "brothers" should very easily have been able to kick everyone else's asses, so he thinks they just didn't try hard enough because they didn't want him to die, and doesn't believe they were actually outmatched; some of his "brothers" are...not disagreeing. :P
Trans Scott Fic (Scott & Stiles - Possible Sciles?)
A fic where Scott had been born genetically female, but is transitioning to male - and has been for quite a while by the time he is Bitten. There is a lot of dysmorphia because the werewolf Bite interferes with the transition process, but Stiles learns magic specifically to counteract these problems. There was also a big plot arc where this interfered with Scott's ability to completely turn into a wolf (but once he does, the wolf form is male). To be honest, there wasn't much of a plot, just a lot of smaller ideas or scenes I had in mind. The ones I originally came up with - and at the center of the story - are something which I expect would be extremely controversial at best.
Stiles has always been Scott's Number One advocate, and his first defender in the face of transphobia. Where Scott tries to assume the best of people and educate everyone, Stiles thinks Scott shouldn't waste his time and that transphobes should just go die in a fire. Stiles was the first person Scott ever told, and he was the one who helped Scott talk to his parents to get the transition process started, when Scott was too scared to.
So when a thousand year old chaos spirit intent on causing as much emotional pain as possible possesses Stiles, what does it do? Deadnames Scott, constantly calling him by his birth name and intentionally referring to him with female pronouns as much as possible. This is directly parallel to Scott's transphobic father coming back into town and doing the same thing, insisting that Scott is his daughter, deadnaming him and misgendering him. What Rafael is doing to Scott out of transphobia, the nogitsune is doing because it knows how much it hurts Scott (and Stiles). What transphobes insist is "natural" or "right", the nogitsune is using as a weapon in its psychological warfare - because it's just that bad, that painful, and that devastating.
