Después de la odisea vivida para comprarme el coche nuevo decidí hacerle el kilometraje, a la semana de  tenerlo, yéndome a Extremadura, al pueblo de mis padres. Inocente de mí, se lo comenté a mi abuela, que decidió que no podía irme sola y se apuntó a la expedición. Se lo dije un jueves, nos lanzamos a la aventura al día siguiente, para darle tiempo a que consiguiera su alijo de pastillas. Sintrom, tensión, ibuprofenos y no se cuantas cosas más. Dormí en su casa, decía que así descansaría más, no me atreví a decirle que no suelo dormir mucho antes de un viaje. Los nervios se meten en mi estomago y forman una fiesta pagana que me impide dormir. A las seis nos levantamos, desayunamos, metí las maletas mientras ella se ocupaba de la nevera y por fin salimos, después de que me obligara a desayunar. La pobre inocente, nada más subir tuvo que pelearse con el sillón, que novata de mí aun no controlaba demasiado. Para cuando conseguimos regulárselo, fue turno del cinturón de hacérselo pasar mal: le desollaba el cuello. Un frenazo fuerte bastaría para decapitarla. Como no me entusiasma la revolución francesa, tuvo que ir sujetando el cinturón asesino todo el camino, decía que las pinzas no lo sujetaban bien. Mil cien kilómetros de tortura de la que apenas se quejó. Hubo otras muchas cosas de las que sí tuvo que hacerlo. En el peaje de Martorell, el chico que cobraba, me sacó los colores cuando me lanzó un piropo. Haciendo que mi Mariquilla me mirara de reojo. -Claro, si yo fuera con las tetas fuera también me dirían cosas. -No voy con las tetas fuera, abuela.- Respondí. -Me vas a decir que no sabes que se transparenta todo... y que con el sujetador color carne que llevas, parece que vas empelotas. -¡Qué dices! ¡Ostias! ¡Es verdad!- dije, sinceramente sorprendida. -Ya verás cómo lo soluciono... yo también quiero que me diga algo. In the past, many people with hearing loss chose not to wear their hearing aids because they weren’t comfortable exposing themselves to humidity. This is because the power components of battery-powered hearing aids are vulnerable to oxidation due to exposure to moisture. Over time, this oxidation can lead to permanent damage to the devices. However, modern technology has allowed for the development of waterproof hearing aids Phonak.
