Got my other vintage Polaroid camera today, a Sun 660 Autofocus.
The cool gold area on the left is the sonar sensor - that's how this AF judges distance.
Appears to function mechanically. I have not sacrificed a real photo to fully test it; or to test any of these. Yet.
