The inauguration of AUTOSPARK 2023 was held in St Aloysius ITI campus on 9 February 2023. Student participants apart from Dakshina Kannada, and Mangaluru had also come from Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, and other parts of the Country. The valedictory function was graced by Fr Melwin Pinto SJ, the Rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Mangaluru who presided over the function. Robin Vas, Convener of the programme escorted the dignitaries to the dais. Alwyn Menezes, the Vice Principal of St Aloysius ITI welcomed the gathering. The trainers and trainees from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Gujarat Maharashtra, and Goa were present for the event. In the last summit organized in 2016, a whopping 2630 investments worth ₹5.63 Trillion were proposed! The government is really positive about this year's event being even more successful.

An Ideal Platform For Key Stakeholders:

At the summit, industrialists will be interacting amongst the people on industry scenarios and technology advancements across 15 focused sectors. A complete gamut of sectors including Agriculture & Food Processing, Automobile & Engineering, Information Technology and ESDM, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Logistics, Tourism, amongst others would be present at the event.

Notably, CM of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Kamal Nath will be inaugurating the program. Some of the leading industrialists of India including Mukesh Ambani, Anand Mahindra, Kumar Mangalam Birla and Gautam Adani are amongst the invited guests. This exhibition provides a forum to promote the initiative ‘Make in Madhya Pradesh’.

Massive Opportunities for Madhya Pradesh:

According to a statement released by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, there has been a capital inflow of approximately Rs 30,000 crore in the Indore-Pithampur region. "The forward development-oriented measures taken by the state government are resulting in an atmosphere for investment." -media in-charge Shobha Ojha tells us. Also, she claims that the Magnificent Madhya Pradesh 2019 Summit shall be a historic success.

The government's effort is that after this investment, MP will emerge as a "hub" of medical tourism. This will increase employment opportunities in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It has been decided that only those industrialists would be invited who are committed to bringing investment in MP. The Preparations for Magnificent MP Investors' Summit 2019:

The Global Trade Exhibition 2019 will have a 77,500 sq. ft. of exhibition area. It will have a dedicated space for industries promoting the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Robotics, Mobility, etc. People can participate in the ‘Global Trade Exhibition 2019’ to showcase what their companies have achieved. This includes– design, products, services and other technological advancements.

Indore International Airport is going to be decorated along the route leading to the city. As told by the Divisional Commissioner of Indore, a liaison officer and security officer would be appointed for each guest industrialist. Believe it or not, the term 'Accountant' is not a reserved title, unlike, say, 'Solicitor.' Because of this, anyone can call themselves an accountant.

Good accountants should be qualified by either the Institute of Chartered Accountants Deepak Kankani Kolkata or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - call Certified Accountants) to ensure that high standards are maintained and more importantly, ethical behaviour is adhered to. A qualified accountant who cannot maintain the high standards required of them should refuse to undertake work that they do not feel comfortable performing - this is one of the reasons why ethics is paramount.

You may or may not get this level of service with an unqualified accountant and you may get the same level of expertise, however, you do not have the reassurance of the regulating bodies to maintain standards. The minimum requirements for qualification are to pass the rigorous exams, follow a training contract for three years, undertaking specific levels of work. It is a gruelling three years; however, on qualification, most accountants are equipped with a strong level of both technical knowledge and experience.

In order to engage in a public practice, a minimum of two further years experience post qualification is required. So ensuring your Deepak Kankani CA CS has qualified guarantees you a minimum of 5 years experience and is fully regulated (and insured as a condition of obtaining a practice certificate) and this should be a minimum requirement.

You also need to establish whether the accountant has relevant experience providing the services you may require for the size of business you have, and if relevant, in the sector you are in. This does not mean there are no longer any genuine tax planning and tax saving opportunities, only, if it sounds too good to be true or schemes whereby the conversation goes something along the lines of "we have some very clever chaps here who have found a loop-hole that no-one else knows about...", you may want to be cautious.
