How RICH are you?? - Platinum Edition

Welcome to the MONEY Series, where I draw up how rich everybody is. Here, I estimate how rich all the Platinum LIs are because literally everyone likes cash, not just Cardi B. 

AVERY WILSHERE: Okay here’s the tea. My boy (or girl) here, only has one album out so far. But that’s cool, because in this day and age, most artists make their money from live touring, appearances, and merchandise lines, since most money from actual 

music sales goes to the record label. You see, the record label takes most of the cash, and after taxes and manager cuts and other subtractions, the singer gets like 12% of the money. But Avery seems to be selling out wherever s/he goes and drawing HUGE crowds. Not to mention, a huge breakout start like Avery would be getting paid BANK by companies and promoters just to show up at events and hype them up. 

Net Worth: $4.5 million (don’t worry, it will get WAY higher when he starts releasing more albums and tours. Like WAY higher. I also added half a million for money he got from working on One in a Million).

Probably Owns: Either a really nice gated mansion or an uptown townhouse in a chic area of London like Kensington. They are both well connected to other members in the industry, especially if you land in the right neighborhood. Probably a nice but not too gaudy car (think a luxury Audi, not a Lamborghini). The book mentions a private jet, but this early in his career, the jet is most likely subsidized or provided for by the record label. 

RALEIGH CARRERA: I know it might not look that way at first glance with that ruffled hair and torn jeans, but here’s the facts: Raleigh is definitely richer than Avery. He’s richer than all of us combined. Raleigh was part of the boy band “Sunset Skatepark”. Despite it having an awful name, MC mentions it was bigger than One Direction. That. Is. Pure. CASH. And as with every broken up boy band, there’s the Harry Styles and the Justin Timberlake (a.k.a. the one guy who got out to make a big career while others died did okay). I’m pretty sure  Raleigh is that guy. I estimate he has two solo albums and two corresponding tours out on top of the group albums, and obviously his solo career has been WILDLY successful. And he seems like the guy to command huge appearance fees, than show up for five minutes and dip. Speaking of tours, it also seems through the level of hype shown around him that his tours sell pretty well. However, Raleigh did also crash a yacht and probably other crap like blow up a house, and it seems he definitely has some legal bills and insurance fees and whatnot. 

Net Worth: $75 - 80 million (I compared with other ex-boy band members like Harry Styles. Raleigh has one solo album and therefore, tour, ahead of him, meaning his net worth would be higher, but I factored in legal and insurance bills and other expenses).

Probably Owns: A really nice home in Los Angeles since that’s where everything is. I’m guessing the Hollywood Hills neighborhood in the Santa Monica area, though I’m not banking on him being the best of neighbors. Raleigh also mentions ‘moving to New York’, so I’m guessing a luxury loft in a neighborhood like Tribeca, where a lot of celebrities and musicians flock to. I’m also fairly certain he has at least one property in Puerto Rico, maybe for family. He’s probably unofficially banned from getting a yacht by his agent or label or something, but he does mention having a motorcycle. And I’m sure it’s a good one like a Ducati Diavel. 

SHANE: Sooo . . . film school’s expensive. And I’m pretty sure Shane’s not swimming in cash or that beanie would have a Versace logo on it. Film school can range from $25 - $30k a year (EX: New York Film Academy). And like the rest of us poor folks, he probably took out student loans.

Net Worth: -$60k

Probably Owns: A couple secondhand textbooks and tuition bills

MC: Okay, we released a song! We just released an album! We’re not dirt poor anymore! But we’re still kinda poor compared to Raleigh and Avery (especially Raleigh). Until we go on tour and really kick it off . . . 

Net Worth: $100k - $150k (especially after album royalties come in)

Probably Owns: Zadie’s wardrobe, a couple contracts promising money, and that awful banana suit from Smoothie Star. 

Wait, but what’s that noise? Is that the sound of student loans knocking at our door? The same ones MC couldn’t pay off because being a struggling musician pays zilch? It sure is!!

NEW NET WORTH: $2 and some coins behind a couch cushion, but it’s okay if you want to go with the first number for the glamour of it all.

Hardships of Fatherhood (Colt x MC, m!Avery x MC, Drake x MC)

A set of drabbles based on “little one prompt list”

A/N: I wasnt sure who to tag since I combined a few LIs haha. So I tagged my perma + Drake and Colt tag (dont have Avery tag yet). I hope it’s okay! Characters belong to Pixelberry. Word count for each of the drabbles is between 100-200 words! Pure fluff :)

Colt x MC

“Being unable to stay mad at little one when they give you puppy dog eyes”

“Ugh, I can’t be in the same room with Ali for a while.” Colt walks up to the couch and sits down next to Ellie. She looks up from the book she was reading at her husband.

“What did this poor two-year old do again?”

“She drew flowers all over my jacket. My favorite jacket! With her marker. Pink marker,” he explains and Ellie tries to keep a straight face.

“I almost ruined your jacket once too. I won’t believe you’re mad at her because of that,” Ellie raises her eyebrow..

“No, it’s not that. It’s just… anytime I try to reprimend her, she gives me those eyes. Those damn puppy eyes and I can’t even be upset with her anymore. It’s frustrating,” Colt sighs and Ellie lets out a laugh.

“So you can’t stay mad at her because she gives you eyes that look like mine and you know I’m too cute to be mad at?”

“What? No. She gives me those eyes and looks exactly like me, and let’s be real,” he motions to his face, “no one can say ‘no’ to this face. And this is dangerous.“

“Little one needing an emergency bath”

Cadence heard footsteps in the hall and she knew her two boys finally decided to come home. It was already late, her son should have been in bed at that hour but he begged her to let him go for a short walk after the rain. Cadence wasn’t exactly sure if it was a good idea, Ben was already in his pajamas but Avery convinced her it was summer, it was hot outside and he would take their son on a short walk. It was exactly fourty minutes ago.

Cadence turned her head to the doorway to see Ben, all covered in mud, running up to her.

“Mummy! It was amazing!” He hugged her, staining her nightgown.

“I see you had fun. A little bit too much fun. But someone will need an emergency bath asap,” she pulled away to see how bad it was. “Did you fall into a puddle?”

“No!” Ben laughed. “But we had a mud fight!”

“We?” Cadence asked raising her eyebrow before Avery showed up in the doorway. She gasped seeing the mud on his shirt, his pants, his shoes, his face, and even his hair.

“Yeah…” he started, “I think Daddy needs an emergency bath, too.”

“Little one stripping their clothes and running around in their diaper”

“Duchess Kate, Prince William, it’s an honor to host you here, in my Duchy Valtoria,” Riley smiled at her guests as she was showing them around. They just entered the ballroom and it was the first stop on her list.

“Please, call me Kate! And we love it here! It’s so much quieter and more peaceful than the Royal Palace,” the Duchess smiled warmly.

“I’m really happy you like it here. I can assure you that Valtoria is perfect for a stay; surrounded by nature, quiet and–”

“AAAAH!!!” A voice coming from a hall interrupted her, shortly followed by another one.

“Come here, you little stinky feet human!”

“Nebel!”

Riley watched in horror as her son ran into the ballroom, taking his clothes off in the process and throwing them around. Her eyes widened even more when her own husband, Duke Drake Walker ran into the ballroom as well, his shirt covered in their son’s poop, trying to catch him.

“COME HERE AND STOP TAKING OFF YOUR CLOTHES! YOU’RE EMBARRASSING YOUR MOMMY”

“Nooooo!” the little one screamed as he ran out of the ballroom with nothing but a diaper on, and Drake quickly followed suit.

There was a silence for a few moments before Riley nervously cleared her throat and tried to smile as if nothing happened to her very surprised guests.

“As I was saying… Valtoria is lovely but I think the Royal Palace is a little bit more quieter…”

It wasn't that hard falling in love with her, Avery thought. It was as easy as breathing. She was beautiful, good lord she truly was. The way her eyes would lit up every time she talks about her day or the way that her nose would scrunch up whenever she laughs at a joke that he made.

Avery looked at her as if she was a goddess, one that he would have no problem worshiping.

When the two of them became friends, it became harder for him to contain his feelings for her. She was always there, helping him with his music. Helping him find the voice that he knows he has but has a problem showing to other people. He would have never done it if not for her. Her constant push. Her constant assurance that everything would be fine.

So when Fiona told him about the PR relationship with Raleigh, a part of him broke. Because while Raleigh has a reputation that precedes him, Avery knows that he's a good guy, ruined by the media. He knows that even if it's a PR relationship, Raleigh would treat you right. That was the only assurance that he had. Besides, he has no right to complain. He wasn't your boyfriend no matter how hard he wants to be.

With the rise of her career, Avery found it hard to spend time with her the way the two of them used to, so when Fiona asked who he wanted to open up for his concert, only one name came out. Cadence Dorian. Running into her backstage, he hugged her for good luck. Raleigh was there, however, his "That's my fake girlfriend" quip told Avery everything he needed to know.

Raleigh Carrera, the resident bad boy, has fallen for you.

Avery had to watch the two of you act all lovey-dovey in front of the cameras and it was damn near impossible for him to decipher if what was going on was real or PR. He didn't want to think that you fell in love with Raleigh. He owed it to himself to not think negative thoughts like that.

It was until one particular night when he couldn't sleep he messaged you. He was genuinely surprised when you messaged him back saying that you had a lot of shit in your mind, was feeling sad and had no idea how to sleep. Avery was suddenly out of of his house and appeared at your doorstep with ice creams and wine.

"Your emergency hotline is here." Avery casually mentions as he lifts up the bags he was holding as soon as you opened the door. You looked confused, then after a few minutes laughed because you hadn't expected that he would rush out here just because you were feeling sad. "Avery it's 1 in the morning What are you doing here?" You asked him, as you opened the door wider allowing him to get inside. "I can't let my best girl be feeling sad now can I?" He answers and you wrapped your arms around his neck hugging him tightly, while he snaked his arms around your waist and pulled you close. Once you loosened your grip Avery said, "Nice pajamas Banana man." You just laughed and pushed his shoulder and then proceeded to sit down on the sofa where Avery sat next to you.

This became a little tradition between the two of you in the coming weeks. The two of you would meet up, sometimes at your house sometimes at the park sometimes at a diner not too far.

Today, the two of you were sat on a rooftop. Earlier that day the world found out about the break up that happened between you and Raleigh. He thought you would be happy but no. You weren't happy at all.

"It would've been easy if I wasn't in love with him." You said it so nonchalantly like it was nothing, but it was everything. It was everything that Avery hoped wouldn't happen. His heart shattered but you looked at him with teary eyes and all he knows was that he couldn't let you see him cry. He had to be strong, for you. It wasn't the time for you to know about his feelings for you. It wasn't the time. So he pulled you closer and let you cry on his shoulders.

When Avery took you back to your apartment, he kissed your forehead and went on his way. He wasn't able to sleep when he got home so he grabbed his guitar and a paper and pen and poured his heart out to a song. Because he knows that's the only choice that he's got right now. That's the only way he could ever survive the heartbreak.

A few months have passed and in one interview Avery was asked about his new single, 102. He was very careful to not let anything slip to the public about you.

"It's a song about a girl that I liked." "Liked? Past tense?" The interviewer asked. Avery just smiled and corrected himself. "Like. I still do. She doesn't like me back, and I don't even think that she knows that I like her. But I didn't have the guts to tell her because...I know she's in love with someone else." "So where did the 102 come from?" "So, there was this one time that I messaged her because I couldn't sleep and turns out she couldn't either and she mentioned that she was sad so I came over to her place with ice cream and wine hoping to cheer her up. And I came there at 1:02 in the morning and ever since it's always been like that with the two of us." "So you guys still hang out? I mean at 1:02?" "No, we stopped. But there are times that I would wake up at 1 am and in those moments I think of her, and I just tell myself that I have to let her go. And so there's that." "Will she know? When this interview goes out?" Avery smiled sadly, "Yes, she will."

He was right. You did know because once the interview got out you messaged him, "Avery, I'm so sorry." He wondered why you told him that you were sorry. You did nothing wrong. You didn't know.

It was only later that night when he saw the headlines that he was able to put two and two together.

"BREAKING: Cadence Dorian and Raleigh Carrera spotted out on a date."
