. YOU CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS BUT YOU CAN BUY A PLANE TICKET (OR TWO) - AND THAT'S KIND OF THE SAME THING...OOH BALI! It was an awesome experience, it was... But because I had company this time (this retreat was not one to go solo to - better in company) I realised I was more engaged in conversation and being in the moment, enjoying the front of plane service, and the whole trip then became an off-grid, non insta/non social media REAL joy. To go off-grid and maintain total radio silence was my companions suggestion. She's no shrinking violet - she has a huge huge following on Insta and social media and is a well known influencer. But her suggestion, though very surprising, was also, I thought, a brilliant move. More of a risk for her than me. So we did it. Switched off totally. That also helped us focus and concentrate on the whole experience. Yes, I had all my photo /video / audio gear...including my new drone which was left in its case for most of the trip. I also got substantial work done on my podcast /vlog project while we were at one of the most beautiful nature resorts...yet, I resisted the urge to be "the photographer". Bali holds some very special energy and I felt exactly the same magic I did the last time... Awesome juice!! Surprise! Holiday Decorations Time!

Look at this d-men duo, all up in this Christmas tree, being completely obsessed with each other. It's the last week of posts over here at 'Swawesome Santa HQ and we've got a ton of fan works coming your way. (At least we hope so. We're counting on it. Hint hint.)

Have we mentioned that our in-Haus graphic design guru awesomejuice is kind of amazing? Let me tell you, she is. She did all the graphics and layout for the site, and put together the art and design for the pie recipes, and now she's made all of us a handy DIY crafting guide so we can hang adorable hockey players all over our stuff.

this is the first time in my entire life that i've scored on any sort of test as an introvert, but i also think i've evolved/grown to be kind of introverted, so i agree. i don't know what intuition over sensing means and i'm too tired to figure it out. i don't think that i have a preference of feeling OVER thinking, i think i try as hard as i can to utilize them both in equal measure. and i don't agree with the judging. a lot of the questions on the test seemed to be about plans and events versus people though, so i guess it might be accurate in that context.

5. Pre-fandom, what kink did you swear you’d never find hot?  hahaha probably physical violence. hahaha.

6. Re: the above, what story/art/fandom changed your mind? i don't even know. definitely inception fandom, and probably just a gradual change.

8. What personal memory do you look back on and facepalm over? uhhhg so many things :( one time when i was in high school, my little sister stole my sketchbook and wrote her signature over all my sketches in permanent marker. when i found it and took it back i told her, with much vitriol and at a rather loud volume, that i hated her. and it's not like we didn't fight like cat & dog on the reg, because we did. but for a split-second this horrified, hurt, vulnerable look flashed across her face and i wanted to suckerpunch myself the moment the words left my mouth. i'll never forget that look :(
