I’d be interested to know your thoughts on why they went to the prison instead of moving Rick’s group to Woodbury, with more comfortable surroundings and food available as well as well protected. I was very disappointed in the prison fight, none of the bullets hit any of The Governor’s people, come on.
Well, those are definitely valid questions. I felt that the story moved along very quickly, trying to hit all of these prepared plot points and sometimes not entirely articulating just why things are happening. As for why they're at the Prison, that's really up in the air until next season. My guess? Maybe it's simply what they're comfortable with. They've spent the entire season clearing it out, fighting for it, killing for it. It's their trophy. Sure Woodbury has better supplied, but we've never known Rick and Co. to be the smartest bunch. And as for the Prison fight, it really was rather anticlimactic. I think that looking at the episode a second time in a month or so will do it more justice, as the hype for some sort of vicious apocalyptic showdown was HUGE. But it's possible that Glenn and Maggie knew that the majority of those people were innocent and simply wanted to scare them off. That's kind of a long shot, but it's possible. What's more possible, and this is on a purely pragmatic level, is that Glenn and Maggie murdering some of the Woodbury folk would complicate some of the dynamics that the episode establishes. Carl kills one of them. The Governor kills the rest. Murdering random Woodbury folk seems to correspond with shifts in morality. Since the episode had nothing to say about its secondary characters (minus a dead Andrea and Milton), introducing Glenn and Maggie into the morality discussion of the episode would have convoluted the episode's thematic dissection. Anyway, hope that answered your questions! :)
awolgina answered your question: Just finished watching SoA.Anyone else feel like...
Yeah and WTF?
I think Bobby is trying to protect whatever is left of the club. At this point they are killing each other from the inside. Bobby knows something. If you watch his face when Jax goes off about Clay a light bulb goes off in his head.
Where did you find that Giger alien tribal wild man that you were going to get as a tatt & did you get it? Loved it, the dick like the wild man statues from tribes, yet futuristic. I'm looking for erotomechanical giger art for tattoo myself. :)
