So, If you haven't noticed yet, I'm experiencing ✨ the burnout ✨ but I still want to create, I just am having a hard time writing, because the world is on fire and American politicians have officially destroyed my faith in humanity.

This is not a good bye post!

This post is just to say, since I'm not writing a lot, I'm gonna open up my inbox for character interactions! I've seen a lot of burnt out writers doing that and it seems low key.

Some Halloween headcanons for ARR

Dawn Faction

Koga

Gets invited to Halloween parties

Likes that he can attend them without having to wear a suit

He dresses up and covers his face with a mask so people don't recognize him easily

To his annoyance, Toichiro can still recognize him

Asks his maid to pack some candies for the kids who would swing by his house

Kuya

Lets his wings out on full display since people would just think it's his costume

People stare because it looks so realistic (it is real *wink wink*)

Kids would ask to touch it to which he promptly replies, "No"

Kids have to shout to wake him up since he is usually found sleeping on the veranda instead of handing out the treats at Koga's house

Aoi

Goes all out with his cooking to make sure there are a variety of sweets they can hand out

He tries to make Western sweets since it is a Western holiday - he also puts his art skills to use by designing them

Asks Yura to taste test for him. He is grateful to Yura despite his grumbling when Yura asks for more

Also decorates Raccord to give it the Halloween vibe

"Oji-san, lend me a hand!"

Ginnojo

Also packs candies at his shop

Kuro helps him out with the packing

He displays books with spooky stories since they seem to be popular during this time

"Do I really have to wear this?"

Gets this soft look on his face when he hands out treats

Yura

Volunteers to help with packing candies at Raccord since he's got nothing better to do.

Works as the taste tester when Aoi tries to recreate Western sweets.

"Pray, Sir Aoi, this "cookie" tastes good! Can I have some more?"

Eats more than the candies that he packed.

On Halloween, he takes on his child form, dresses up and lines up with the kids to ask for treats.

Twilight Faction

Toichiro

Also gets invited to Halloween parties

Dresses up like a prince

Likes to annoy Koga since he can easily recognize him

Sticks to Koga since these types of parties do not require them to make their rounds

Still as polite as he can usually be when people approach him

Shizuki

Babysits Kogare since Kogare visits on Halloween

Packs candies with Kogare

"Kogare, hide your ears and tail." To which Kogare replies, "But why is Kuya-san allowed to show his wings?!"

The one who hands out the treats at Toichiro's manor since Kogare also makes his rounds to other houses

Kuro

Helps out at Raccord and Kusanagi Books during candy packing

Also joins in on the fun when Aoi has new sweet samples

Performs in front of Raccord and Kusanagi Books on Halloween

He does it for the promotion of their Halloween show later that night

"If you like what you see, watch the show of Lorenzi Circus Troupe tonight and be whisked away to a night filled with mystery!"

Oji

Always seems to be busy 'entertaining' his customers so he barely helps Aoi with packing candies

He thought he could get away with not wearing a costume so the Raccord gang had to force him to wear something for Halloween

"Aoi-chan, 1 pack of candy for the young lady here"

Gaku

Also helps out at Raccord since Yura is there

Makes tiny trinkets like jack-in-the-box and Chinese finger trap and drops them randomly inside the candy packs

Heaps wasabi on top of the sweets so he can eat the same thing as Yura

Holds back his laughter when he sees the children find themselves trapped in the Chinese finger trap.

What do you think is relevant information to know before reading a fanfic here? What are things that, the lack of, would make you avoid or be more reluctant to read a fic? Of course Fandom, Character or Ships, wether it's SFW or NSFW and relevant warnings are a given, but what else do you think is relevant?

I have made fic posts in the past in various diferent styles, with different amounths of information, but I want to make a more fixed pattern for the future, so I want to know what is relevant and necessary info

Who is Asexual in each fandom?

Summary: In honor of ace visibility week, I'm dropping the characters I think are Ace in each fandom.

CW: you might not like who I hc as ace, but don't try to fight me on it cause I'll cry. These are just my opinions. Some will have big explanations, some small. Allusions to sex as a concept, but only to explain where characters lie on the spectrum. Asexuality, like every sexuality, is a spectrum, and there's various types of aces in my HC's. There is no wrong way to be ace!

I've discussed this before….and I know this is one people try to tear to shreds, so I figured let's start with him.

It all started when I groovified Mals ceremonial robes card. At the time I thought that he had an ace ring. Below you will find the text I sent to my friend because I was so happy.

So from the start, I was pretty biased. And I know now that wasn't an ace ring, that was the thing pulling his sleeves down. But let's look at the following. 

Dragons have low libido, because they live so long, any mating cycle is incredibly slow. So even if he's not Ace, I feel like he has low desire for adult fun time.

Also! Aces like dragons. It's just kind of a thing, so it would make sense if dragons were like us.

Then there's a recent spoiler I saw. I don't have book seven because I'm on the English server,  and I know that it's just a translation, but I feel like it vindicated this hc. Meleanor laid an egg, and it can only hatch from love. Now, to me, that says the dragon lays an egg, and as long as they have a loving partner, it'll hatch as a product of the two of you. Feels pretty Ace to me….

Can you tell I was scared to say this one? 😂

Riddle

This is fully me projecting on him. But just the way he talks, and acts, it feels to me like he's just fine without extra stuff in his relationship. I feel like his is a matter of upbringing (which is still a valid form of ace!), where part of him is touch starved. But also, I feel like touch would be very overwhelming for him. His love language is more helping people, and sharing his sweets. He would like to be able to use physical expressions of love, even if it's just holding your hand, but it's overwhelming, and a little painful for him.

Can't really explain this one. Someone once posted that they thought he was Ace, and I've kind of agreed with it ever since. It's just a gut feeling.

He's the kind that might have drive sometimes, but usually he's just too tired. It's a frequent conversation he hates having with his partners; he might not be able to be there for some of your needs. He hopes people understand, but he doesn't mind thriving off his familial bonds if he "can't be enough".

Ayakashi Romance Reborn

To be honest, he kind of comes off as demi romantic to me. Like, he doesn't really seem interested in even romancing us until near the end. He's the kind who requires a strong emotional connection. He'd be willing to try different aspects of a relationship out with you, but he's not gonna think up anything on his own unless he feels so so strongly about you.

Ikemen Prince

To me, he feels like the kind of ace that would be up for stuff if his partner wanted something, but it just doesn't cross his mind. He kind of just lives his life not really thinking about adult fun time stuff, doesn't really need it.

Look….I have been told….things….about him. But I haven't played his route, so we'll pretend those things don't exist!

I kinda see him as demi sexual. Like, he works for the man all day, and is tired and stressed. He doesn't really have the energy for emotional or sexual connection. He might be interested if you are, but he's fine no matter how you express love.

Ensemble Stars

Ibara, Shu, and Nagisa

They're together, because they are kind of in the same boat to me. None of them really understand how to human. They just don't have the drive for adult fun time stuff, nor do they get it.

Eichi

This is a second one I don't know how to explain. My guy just says so.

Hiiro

Idk, just the way he interacts with people gives me Ace vibes. Like, he's so touchy, not even thinking about it, like his touch is just a product of friendship and how he shows familial and friendly love. He doesn't seem to grasp the concept of people being more than friends (see Rinne calling Aira his girlfriend, and Hiiro not really even acknowledging it) He strikes me as almost aro ace, (which sucks cause I love him but I'm also aro ace so can't judge too much) maybe he's the kind that dating him means that sometimes you're just his really cool roommate. Sometimes he's loving boyfriend though! It just comes in phases.

Tears of Themis

I don't think any are Ace in this fandom, but that doesn't mean none of them are. It's up to interpretation.

ayakashi is a gatcha otome game about cute anime boys that you can date. obviously, i ate that shit up 😌

ayakashi is about a girl, yokais in human form, bad spirits set in meiji or taisho period

the game doesn't update anymore, but it has all the stories fully released, and you can play it for the story, not for the gatcha :>

anyways, kuya is a silly one, i didn't think i would like him at first. he is lazy, not very talkative, prefers not to be involved, and sleeps a lot. honestly, me irl

but his story unexpectedly caught my heart!

i turned kuyas existing earing into a purple gem

and his counterpart is.. kuya haha, that one was easy

like all other yokai, he was born in nc world, having bits and pieces of his memories from past life. kuya is tengu yokai, which is more mythical than normal animal (in nc all yokais were animals at their birth). it complicates things just a little, but there is some mythical creatures in nc, so i say it doesn't matter that much.

kuya lives in wood territory, too, but closer to the border with light territory. he enjoys human-made cuisines, and likes reading books. so he often visits villages and cities nearby.
