I'm not sure about brutally honest lol but I'll do my best:

HARRIET HOOK

• I don't think you guys understand how much I love Harriet. She's one of my most favorite Descendants characters to write about.

• Based on the few things we know about her from the books, she already seems awesome. Sometimes, I have to remind myself that my headcanons are not canon lol but I have many about her.

• What bothers me the most about Harriet is not her fault at all. I get so mad that they have created Harriet, Harry and CJ, and altright refuse to have them coexist. I would love to see all three Hook siblings together, but noooo, Disney hates fun.

• I can't remember if they mention her having her own crew, but to me, she does and it's one of the most respected gangs on the Isle. No one dares messing with Captain Harriet.

• She dances with Anthony Tremaine in the books and they're a couple. I'm not sorry, I make the rules and they are canon to me.

• To be honest, I could make a whole list of my headcanons about Harriet, I'm just not doing it now because there's more characters to talk about.

LI SHANG JR

• I wish we had seen more of him, maybe have him and Lonnie interact - then again, I don't think it would be possible for them to include all the characters I want in the movies.

• Again, I hate his name, just to make it clear. Also, just made some headcanons about him and Lonnie here.

• It would be nice to have him interacting with Jay and Carlos in D1 after they joined the Tourney team, maybe giving them pep talks instead of the coach and help them feel like they belong there.

HERKIE

• If Disney doesn't stop giving Descendants characters such terrible names, I swear-

• Again, since he's part of the Tourney team, it would be cool to see the boys interacting with him. Since Herkie's really strong, he could show Jay strenght doesn't have to equal agression.

• I also have a few headcanons about him that I'd be willing to share someday. Herkie's also a minor character in my fic about Audrey.

AZIZ

• My poor boy, getting cut from the first movie...

• Seriously, I would've loved to see him! They cut his character and didn't even have him appear in the other movies or Wicked World.

• He was also supposed to be in the Tourney team, why does Disney hate them lol So yeah, it would've been really nice to see all of these boys hanging out. Since Mal mentions Jay getting "victory pizza with the team", I wish we had gotten to see that.

• Despite D1 being the movie that I think was able to work the Core Four individually the best, I still think we could've seen a bit more of how the boys were doing in Auradon.

CLAUDINE FROLLO

• This character... Oh, I adore her. Like I said on my other post, I don't remember much from the books, but I know she was part of the Anti-Heroes Club.

• I always say I wish Descendants could be darker, and Claudine is one of the main reasons why. The daughter of Claude Frollo? The girl is a walking bundle of trauma. There are some og characters that I can see growing to be good parents, but Frollo? No, call child services.

• I don't really like that Claudine is mentioned to be the person ringing the bell at Dragon Hall in the books, mainly because I don't think Frollo would raise her to be a copy of Quasimodo.

• Still, I like that she's part of the Anti-Heroes Club, and I imagine her as very strong girl who would be extremely determine not to become like her father.

I would love to talk about my headcanons for some of these characters, so just send an ask if that's something you'd like to see!

AK & VK's Hobbies

A lot of the AKS probs do horse-riding too cause rich kids and their parents have pet horses mostly in canon stuff.

Also hanging out with pets for VKs and AKs since they all have pets galore. Though no one has more than Aladdin, Jasmine and their kids’ massive menagerie.

Everyone sings (probs various degrees of good)

Harriet: Likes doodling (not coherent usually & just for her eyes only) and reading.

Harry & CJ: They like to read but mostly for the dramaticness & extraness. And because they are Hook’s kids so classical literature and stuff is easy for them. It’s probably a hobby that surprises people the most!

Hook kids may also play some instruments cause their dad does (piano, harpsichord and from jake and the Neverland pirates: the trumpet)

Ben:  Headcanon that he can do some ‘tinkering’ with things. Not full on inventing like his grandfather, Maurice or like Carlos. But it’s a talent he has from spending lots of time with his grandad during his childhood.

He is probably a great assistant/helper! His mode of doing things is trial and error! Though he probably does know the basics pretty well. It helps him relax and calm down. It transports him to simpler times with his grandad and the stories he used to hear.

Audrey: Swordfighting, fencing & jousting with & cause of her parents (mum too cause in one disney picture book Aurora does joust! which is cool of Disney to give us content for. Also Aurora uses a sword in concept art).

Spending time with woodland creatures, hearing stories from her ‘great-aunts’-the 3 good fairies and gramma. She likes foraging. Embroidery and stitching too maybe. Probs likes reading stories too. She also writes her diary.

Gil: possibly woodworking/carpentry? But he values detail, style and elegance and likes engraving it with art unlike his father who only cares about its functionality and just generally leaves it like bare and crude. People also hc he likes gardening which is cute!

Hunting responsibly? A take I heard once. Like he only takes what he needs and sometimes just enjoys running after animals and not actually hunting if that made any sense.

‘Uma’s wicked book for VKs’ said he made Uma and Harry’s outfits for em I think so he’s a fashion designer too? Or maybe they gave him special instructions that he followed. Good for him. Cause dude can still sew then.

Jay & Jade: Practicing disguises (Jafar & Nasira both got disguises in canon so like just a family thing). Practicing magic when they get to Auradon (Jay is 1/4th Genie in mine. Plus Jafar & Nasira do have some magic of their own so do Jay & Jade).

Anthony: reading, upcycling outfits & accessories (because a line in the 1st book saying his outfits look regal & tailor-made somehow though they’re made of the same materials other’s outfits are made of. He generally makes any outfits work but further elevated by him tailoring stuff).

He likes spending time with his mum, siblings, cousins, pet(s) & his bestie, Eddie Balthazar! Loves throwing parties (based on the 1st ‘isle’ book again, saying he throws great parties)- he just enjoys the effort, the pay off & it helps him unwind (good for him. ambivert vibes).

Thinking up business strategies, accounting & book keeping! (Why are these in his hobbies? He finds it pretty fun when it all works out. So generally ‘plotting’? Yeah. Likes things organised), being a taste tester for his sibling’s food creations (they’re just good at it), dignifiedly sassing annoying isle people (mostly villains, some won’t get it sometimes) & learnin‘ stuff like languages!

He can play the piano but not really something he likes as much (wind instruments aren't his thing just like they weren’t his mum’s thing). Probs likes the idea of dueling but not exactly good at it?

Hadie: Likes rock & roll music like his dad, maybe he likes giving himself new piercings as a hobby? (met someone who did this irl! sounds cool but be careful). Likes to be a pest to the villains who are horrible parents and people (like him bothering Frollo to do his fortune quite regularly- @panthera-tigris-venenata made a post bout this! Give it a read, it's such a treat).

is the prince of the underworld so he likes to practice magic with his dad though you don’t really see results on the isle cause of the no-magic nature of the barrier (I suppose other magic users also found it very hard learning magic without well, magic! His irises glow yellow sometimes & his blue hair lights on fire so some magic still is kinda visible.)

Likes hanging out with his friends! Oh and his cousin, Freddie (if one hcs Freddie being Ursula’s daughter which I adore) and by extension Celia (who isn't Ursula’s kid in mine so not his blood cousin but he still treats her like one)

Chad: Dude won’t ever admit it but doing chores helps him clear his head and he likes cleanliness cause his mom wanted to still know some responsibility (never forced him to do it though).  Likes sports and also shopping! He can sew but like only repair stuff. He can cook some basics but not a hobby of his and not something he ever has to do.

Jenna, Rafi, Salima, Aziz (& their two lil siblings in mine): Hanging out with family, friends and pets.

All love going on long magic carpet rides. (‘Borders? Air traffic? Aw, bless your heart.’ They have like no need for passports on carpet rides & Agrabah’s got it as a clause in their agreement. The royal family doesn’t need those. (reminds me of how irl the British royal family’s head doesn’t need a passport). They have passports though. This is a new idea I just had & yeah. Can have a lot of exploration).

They love travelling. Probs try different modes of travel.

Aziz can Skateboard (based on Jasmine skateboarding in an Aladdin console game XD. Can't remember which game it was rn. But ‘Nasira's Revenge’ maybe? Feel free to correct me if I remembered the wrong game. While trying to find a pic, I found a doll of Jaz with Carpet as a skateboard so interesting.)

Anxelin & Ruby: Too many cause of their mom, Rapunzel's many hobbies and how it inspired them. They love trying out new stuff and are pretty adventurous. Their favourite book series is obv the 'Flynnigan Rider series'.

Which book Aks and Vks would you love to see and why?

Oh, so, so, so many of them.

AK's: Aziz, my son!!! Lol I used to write Aziz in rp groups and I have a soft spot for him (or, rather, the version of him I basically developed in my head). I just feel like we missed more AK/VK encounters between characters from the same story. And Aziz would've been especially interesting because his father is a former thief (I mean, we like to joke that Jay is basically Aladdin; imagine if he met the son of the actual Aladdin). We know from one of the few lines we have about him that he plays tourney and is friends with Jay; that could've been included so easily in the story.

also:

Ruby, daughter of Rapunzel and Eugene, just 'cause I like Rapunzel lol.

Ally, daughter of Alice because she's very fun in the books and in Wicked World (I don't understand why Alice's role was diminished so severely in Rise of Red's version of Wonderland but that's a story for another time)

honestly, more ak's in general, they were definitely sidelined in favor of the VK's

Herkie, simply because I like Hercules and we didn't get any mentions of it. Also, he's a literal demigod, that would've been fun to watch in the context of the magic ban and the elitism that seems to be rampant at AP.

Freddie, my beloved!!!! She has such an interesting personality, her magic is pretty unique, and I love how she never tries to switch from Evil to GoodTM in the traditional sense; she's an anti-hero to me.

CJ Hook: I feel like she's a fan favourite for a reason. She's unapologetic and untrustworthy in a way that makes you like her. She's just really iconic.

Muy bien, hace un mes ( creo , no recuerdo bien), subí una versión adaptada a mi AU de descendientes, evidentemente no podía poner toda la película, porqué sería bien pinché larga , sin mencionar realmente este AU salio antes que la película, y cambie mucho el pasado de Auradon, a si que termine cambiando muchas historias, pero igual están aquí, los personajes que se pudieron adaptar a esta pequeño au genderbend, hablare un poco de ellos , y como dibujo horrible, evidentemente fue el IA mi salvación , a si que disfruten

El príncipe Red ( evidentemente, la versión genderbend de Red )

De este pequeño que podemos decir?, a diferencia de nuestra Red que nació y creció en el tiranico reinado de su madre , el nace en la isla de los perdidos, pero con la barrera fuera , su prima termina buscándolo y adaptándolo, volviéndolo su sucesor , aunque el no se adapta tanto a esto por su actitud rebelde y melancólica con la isla

El príncipe Colin

Muy bien, una teoría que use para este AU era de la adopción de Chad (en este caso Chelsea), pero Colin tampoco es hijo biológico de Cenicienta y Encantador (Ella y Kit pa los cuates) , al igual que Red y Chelsea es adoptado , pero el genuinamente quiere ser un príncipe y hacer sentir orgullosos a su padres y hermana

Hadie

Hadie es la hija de Hades y Hermana de Mal , ella y Mal tienen una relación difícil (principalmente por culpa de Mal y sus actitudes con su hermana cuando adolescente), pero eso no evito que el aceptara a su hermana en Auradon prep (aquí el es el nuevo director) , pero su hermana al final es de la isla, y no puede evitar querer jugar con la paciencia de su hermano, especialmente al descubrir que es mas poderosa que su propio hermano , aunque ella y el son muy parecidos, solo hay que ver a sus respectivas parejas

La princesa Adila

Ella es Adila , la hija de Aladdin y Jasmine, ella es de las mejores alumnas en Auradon prep , aún con sus padres divorciados , es hermosa , brillante , amable , futura sultana , es la nueva princesa perfecta!! ... o lo sería de no tener gustos tan cuestionables como Bet y Jasmine, una se enamoro de un hada piromana , la otra de un ladrón mentiroso, y a ella le gustan las traumadas , piromanas , con posibilidades de tener esquizofrenia, semidiosas malvadas ... hay cosas que nunca cambian

La reina Milly ( ex princesa blanca, y si, termine pidiendo un tono mas o menos similar al de Bri , aun si me queje mucho de su representación, creo que tia y sobrina podrian tener algo en comun )

Hija de la Reina Mirana , ella por cuestiones misteriosas , jamás se caso , ni tuvo hijos , lo que creo problemas para la monarquía del país de las maravillas, y su lugar en Auradon, terminó buscando en su árbol genealógico alguien que pudiera ser su sucesor , y lo encontró en Red , al cual adoptó para que pudiera tener su corona cuando no este , pero eventualmente, paso de ser su prima y reina , a parecer más su madre , y solo quiere que su primo encuentre su lugar en el mundo sin importar que

Lonnie, Aziz and Jordan grew up together

Either Jordan or Lonnie had a one sided crush on the other at around the age of 12

Aziz was the ultimate wingman for any relationship the other two had

Shang Jr is also childhood friends with one of Aziz's older sister

Speaking of Shang, he had his first tattoo secretly at the age of 15.

It was a dolphin tattoo because he was obsessed with the sea growing up

Shang also likes to cook but is not very good at it

Mulan's family love Li Shang so much

Li Shang always made sure he was there for both her kids

Mushu is very protective of both Shang Jr and Lonnie

LONNIE AND SHANG JR GREW UP WITH YAO, CHIEN-PO AND LING'S CHILDREN

Jordan was the first one to attend Auradon City Middle School and that ls where she met Ben

Lonnie and Shang Jr had all their education till their respective high school years in China

Then Shang went to high school in Sherwood Forest for the first year but got transferred to Auradon Prep because Auradon had a better Scholarship in fencing.

He shared a drom with Andrew Bjorgman (Anna and kristof's son)

He also told everything about Auradon Prep to Lonnie so she wouldn't have much hard time there because he was always underestimated by some royal kids

Well, so was Lonnie. Maybe more than Shang jr because at least the older was a man and it wasn't 'wrong' for him to fight

Lonnie however was ignored by many people

Because she was a girl and she should be 'graceful' and 'quiet' and 'ladylike'

And she shouldnt fight.

After couple of month Ben being the king hearted guy befriended him and that went on

Lonnie also has couple tattoos

Which gave her bonus points befriending the vk's

Mal doesn't like to get into a physical fight in Auradon not because she is incapable but she likes the others to underestimate her

The only person she fenced in Auradon was lonnie (before d2)

It was in the middle of the night when they bumped into each other and had ice cream in the kitchens

They were chatting then fighting came up which made mal offer to fence with her

Lonnie obviously accepted

That's why when they were rescuing Ben in d2, mal was a bit relieved Lonnie was there

Back to the family, both Shang Jr and Lonnie got their sass from their great grandmother, grandma Fa

17. Hm... first character to come to mind, since I haven't really seen any talk about him, is Aziz. He was apparently going to be in the first movie, but got cut out for unknown reasons.

He is mentioned once or twice in the books, but I would have loved to have more appearances. Like come on, son of Aladdin and Jasmine interacting with the son of Jafar? I would have loved to see what dynamic would have happened between them!
