wow. rave has seen bergens and rave has seen mount rageons . . but neither of these tall creatures are nearly as staggering as THIS one before her ! when you're a troll , all tall things seem to blend together height - wise. but you know a giant when you see one !

day 14: Has worship of this deity changed in modern times?

I would personally say yes, but also no. Many Lokean’s are very traditional with the offerings and worship that they provide to Loki, however some are far from traditional! (and that’s ok!) I would say i’m a mix of both. I offer him traditional things such as b33r, but I also provide him non-traditional offerings such as Kinder eggs or toys!

I got down to about 203 today. I’m pretty much fasting all day and having just dinner this weekend. I’m going to have water and a couple of light b33rs today. My doctor appointment is tomorrow and b33r helps me lose water weight. I’m really hoping for 201 or 200 on the scale tomorrow morning.

[クラフトビールの細道] 33 Acres Brewing Company

バンクーバーのメインストリートからほど近い33 Acres Brewingに行ってきた。

バンクーバーはBC州のなかでもかなりの数のクラフト酒造がある。このブランドに出会ったのは三年前くらいで、その頃からすでにバンクーバーのクラフトビール界隈では大人気だった。

建物のファザードは真っ白。夏のこの時期にはパティオも出している。真鍮であしらったストリートナンバープレートがかっこいい。

隣には33 Brewing Experimentと名のつく建物もある。ここは半分以上の裏スペースが酒造場になってて、中にも飲む場所がある。

33Acresの中のスペース、テーブルはこんな感じになってて、缶や瓶だけを買っていくテイクアウトの人は外で会計してTo Goできるようになってた。

オーソドックスなB33Rのラインナップ

Ⅰ. 33 ACRES OF LIFE - CALIFORNIA COMMON

エールがしっかり効きながらもパキッとした残り味。

Ⅱ. 33 ACRES OF OCEAN - WEST COAST PALE ALE

IPAに近いながらも度数、エールが深すぎないため夏でも飲みやすい。アロマな香りが爽快感を生み出す後味。

Ⅲ. 33 ACRES OF SUNSHINE - FRENCH BLANCHÈ

シルクのようになめらかな喉越し、オレンジピールによる若干のフルーティな味わい。まさに夏の1日を締めくくる”黄金”。

Ⅳ. 33 ACRES OF NIRVANA - INDIA PALE ALE

純粋にアルコール度数が高く、他と比べてビターな味わいがガツンとくる重めなIPA。大人の深みが味わえる一本。

Ⅴ. 33 ACRES OF EUPHORIA - BELGIAN TRIPEL

熟したバナナ、スパイス、レモンピールの三本槍が刺さる珠玉の喉越し。9.2％と度数高め。16、18年にWorld Beer Cupで銀賞。

他にもフルーティーな変わり種があるがまだ試したことはない。上記に上げたⅠ-Ⅳあたりはどのリカーストアにも瓶でおいてある事が多い。
