“its me.. hannah. i missed you since high school”

changbin’s lips parted at the sound of her voice. she sounded different. she seemed confident, which seemed impossible compared to the girl he knew back in high school. he used to be different as well, around her he was vulnerable.. he was susceptible to feelings and love.

changbin looked down at your sleepy figure, softly resting your head on a nearby pillow before getting up from the couch with your phone in his hand. he opened the patio door and let himself outside before returning back to the call. 

“hannah, is that really you?”

“yes changbin... i missed you”

she missed him. she really missed him. the words hit him hard in the chest as he found himself looking out into the distance. 

“a-are you really here?” he asked hesitantly. 

“yes babyboy, i’m here. do you want me to come over?”

you ran to the couch, putting on your heels as you looked around for your cellphone. 

“looking for this?” changbin said, sitting next to you.

“what do you mean ‘the best for me’?” you asked as changbin looked around anxiously for the words to respond with.

“i’m...” he dragged on before locking his eyes with yours, “i dont know if i deserve you.. i dont know if ill be good for you” he said, placing a hand on your thigh.

you checked today’s agenda, changbin coming to work late for obvious reasons wasn’t the best idea later. you, however, had to go home to change and let me tell you... those bruises left on your neck were not pretty. 

hannah was knocked out on your bed when you came home, and you thanked all the deities above for that because you hadn’t covered your hickeys. taking a quick shower you changed into a white turtleneck with a leather jacket and high-waisted blue jeans. heels? as if you could even keep your balance. you went for the black flats and a few painkillers to get rid of your headache.

“shit. shit. it’s a meeting tonight” you repeated to yourself as you followed changbin into his office.

“hey babygirl i’m..” he said as he walked in with a plain black suit and denim jeans, you shut the door behind you before interrupting him

“changbin.. no calling me babygirl at work” you reminded him. “you came late to work today” you said, walking side by side with him to his desk

he smiled as he continued walking at the same pace as you, “oh come on, you didn’t actually expect me to come to work after last night” he said, eyes darting away from you with a smile on his face to ditch any suspicion 

“shut up!” you whisper-yelled as you slapped his arm, making him laugh at your blushed cheeks. “you have a meeting tonight with the bio-tech company”

changbin stopped abruptly before looking towards you, “fuck, oh my god” he groaned to him before his hands could meet his forehead, “i do.. i forgot to prepare”

“no worries” you said with a assertive tone. “i prepared for it yesterday before coming over, i gotchu” you winked at him 

“you- you’re a lifesaver” changbin chuckled to himself before his hands could squeeze your ass.

“changbin!”

changbin threw his hands up in defense, “hey, just thanking you” he said with a wink. this freaking dork, he knew exactly what he was doing.

you laughed at his dumb facial expression, “you can thank me later with the almighty ‘changbin cock’” you said with a smirk before running out of your office, a giggle leaving your lips as you clutched your clipboard against your chest.
