Time and again, every trip I take to the Okanagan, I say to myself I am going to stop here. Time and again, I have some reason for not stopping here on the way home. Each one justified in my head. Each one is bullshit. I'm not sure why I do that, I'm not sure why I never stop. But this latest time, I needed to take a few minutes for myself and just enjoy taking my time on the drive home. It was not disappointing, the lighting was magical, and in the current state of the world it was blissfully quiet with only a few others walking the trail ahead of me. This is @luke5kywa1k3r - my son. He’ll be 15 very soon .This young boy came home today and was intently looking at some of my sketch books . My friend @devd119 has a beautiful home in Singapore. I spent some part of today drawing this corner of his home with the Buddha statue and then decided to take some artistic liberty and add some other elements to the drawing - all from his house . ( no artefacts were harmed during the process) Hope @devd119 shall excuse me for bringing the Buddha statue to the foreground and adding the dragon walking stick on Buddha’s lap - but only in this pencil sketch . Of course I also added a bit of drama with light and shadow .
