Myeong's parents were far too young to be parents, let alone raise a child properly, and because of that her grandparents took over. While she knew who her real mother was the entire time, she was raised by her grandparents who took great interest in ensuring that her future was nothing like that of her mother's.

As she had done for most of Mimi's life, her mother would leave home and come back years later with more problems for her parents to take care of. Debt she racked up while gambling or money owed to a drug dealer, the situations were always the same. When she showed up she needed money, and like the desperate and loving parents that Myeong's grandparents were they provided their daughter with whatever she needed. Saving her from whatever problems she wrapped herself into.

While her grandparents had been far too careless with her mother - Jiyeon - Myeong's youth they paid far too much attention to. Ensuring she behaved well, and got good grades. Making sure that she wasn't out longer than allowed and that her friends weren't bad influences.

Knowing they had only good intentions, Mimi followed every rule laid out for her and excelled in school to make them proud. She knew pretty young that her grandparents were trying to redeem themselves as parents and while she sometimes questioned their true love for her, she also knew that she owed them everything. If they hadn't raised her, she couldn't imagine how she'd end up. Or where.

Myeong always held a love for theater and soon after graduating high school she moved across the globe to America where she began training and auditioning to different shows. While it had been a rocky start over the years she was able to make a name for herself as small and insignificant to the world as that might have been.

Not too long after Myeong met who she believed to be the love of her life. The two often auditioned together and socialized with the same group of friends. What started as nothing but silly flirting between co stars turned serious much faster than she could have thought. Something that she soon would come to regret.

Within the first year the two moved in together and Ash's true colors came to light. They would audition for the same shows, supported each other's independent careers, but over time jealousy got in the way. Mina is the middle child and only daughter of Dae and Hana Moon. Her parents immigrated from Seoul to Aurora Bay years before she was conceived with her paternal grandmother following along.

Her father works as a financial advisor, while her mother is homemaker. Mina's mother was a social butterfly and from the moment she stepped foot into Aurora Bay, she opened up their house. Her house was the fun house. Karaoke and game night were a staple of the weekends.

originally born in seoul, taehee and her parents packed up and moved to san francisco, california soon after she was born. seoul had never been her home but she often found herself imagining how different or exciting her life would’ve been if it had. she was born to two rather traditional and conservative individuals — her mother was an accomplished doctor and her father was a scientist at a pharmaceutical company. raised in such a quiet household, it was no surprise that taehee took on a more muted persona when she was a child. but, she was far from reserved when she was outside her household. the moment she set foot outside, she felt as if she gained a new sense of freedom. she could run, play, and be as loud as she wanted to without worrying about her parents frowning upon her rowdy behavior.

she always had a tom-boyish personality, preferring running and climbing trees over dressing up and playing with dolls. despite not quite fitting in within her household, she followed in both of her parents' footsteps when it came to her love of science. she loved experimenting with new things and figuring out the inner workings of gadgets, doing her best learning when she was engaging in hands-on experience. even though she had a habit of running her mouth and allowing her short temper to get the best of her in a school setting, she excelled academically. she ended up attending a magnet school where she developed a further passion for mechanics and engineering. this might have also stemmed from her love for racing, specifically formula racing. although this fact wasn’t something that necessarily pleased her parents, especially since they wanted taehee to do something career-wise within their fields.

originally born in seoul, taehee and her parents packed up and moved to san francisco, california soon after she was born. seoul had never been her home but she often found herself imagining how different or exciting her life would’ve been if it had. she was born to two rather traditional and conservative individuals — her mother was an accomplished doctor and her father was a scientist at a pharmaceutical company. raised in such a quiet household, it was no surprise that taehee took on a more muted persona when she was a child. but, she was far from reserved when she was outside her household. the moment she set foot outside, she felt as if she gained a new sense of freedom. she could run, play, and be as loud as she wanted to without worrying about her parents frowning upon her rowdy behavior.

she always had a tom-boyish personality, preferring running and climbing trees over dressing up and playing with dolls. despite not quite fitting in within her household, she followed in both of her parents' footsteps when it came to her love of science. she loved experimenting with new things and figuring out the inner workings of gadgets, doing her best learning when she was engaging in hands-on experience. even though she had a habit of running her mouth and allowing her short temper to get the best of her in a school setting, she excelled academically. she ended up attending a magnet school where she developed a further passion for mechanics and engineering. this might have also stemmed from her love for racing, specifically formula racing. although this fact wasn’t something that necessarily pleased her parents, especially since they wanted taehee to do something career-wise within their fields.

despite feeling as if she was disappointing or letting her parents down, she decided to follow her dreams. she applied for a university completely across the country and was soon accepted on an academic scholarship. when she moved to sparkwood for school, she felt like she was starting a new and exciting chapter of her life. she ended up majoring in mechanical engineering and after graduation she started working in a small automotive shop. she specializes in not only automotive modification but also design, hoping to build a prototype of a futuristic car herself. aside from this, she has secretly emerged herself into the world of illegal street racing but that’s not something she’s obviously very open about.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:

→ Alice is the only daughter of Earl and Grace Fortescue. Earl was a Hufflepuff, and Grace was a Gryffindor. They bonded over their shared love of herbology, something passed onto their daughter, and their desire to stay out of politics. They have always been happier keeping to themselves and focusing on their work. While they love their daughter dearly, this meant she was often left to her own devices. She roamed their gardens freely and did as she pleased. Impulse control was never something she needed to develop, but she was instilled with a strong work ethic. She was expected to help around the house and assist with their work when she grew older. Summers were spent helping out at her uncle’s ice cream parlour. This continued during her time at Hogwarts. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, but at her own choice over Gryffindor. She believed it would help nurture her better qualities. In the end she was correct. Her compassion, loyalty, and work ethic were enhanced to balance out her impulsive, stubborn temperament. She has to work extra hard to maintain good marks, and is often found with a stack of books and parchment. While she loves reading and learning, it doesn’t come easy to her. Still, she always finds the time to socialize. Her friendly nature makes it easy to acquire friends and she never likes being alone. She fiercely protects those she considers friends, often putting them before herself. Her decisions are usually based on emotion before she looks at them logically. It was at the encouraging of her parents that she elected to attend Elkridge. She knows it comes from a place of wanting to keep her safely tucked away from the troubles of the world. Bio:

Mina is the middle child and only daughter of Dae and Hana Moon. Her parents immigrated from Seoul to Aurora Bay years before she was conceived with her paternal grandmother following along.

Her father works as a financial advisor, while her mother is homemaker. Mina's mother was a social butterfly and from the moment she stepped foot into Aurora Bay, she opened up their house. Her house was the fun house. Karaoke and game night were a staple of the weekends.

While her household was social, Mina remained more on the quiet side. Her favorite pastimes were playing dolls, reading, writing and playing the piano. Much of those hobbies are still the same in her life, but she swapped the dolls for the sims franchise.

Despite her quiet nature, it was always easy for Mina to make and keep friends, just like all of the Moon family.

Mina always felt a sense of overprotection from her family, being that she was the only girl. Her father guarded her way too much, while her mother had high expectations of their gifted daughter. All of that has caused her to become a perpetual people-pleaser with a tendency to have no boundaries and lack of being able to say 'no'.

Wanting to make her parents happy, at their request, she stayed in Aurora Bay after high school and attended the local college gaining a degree in accounting. Something that she thought was soul sucking for her creative side but practical from a financial side.

Upon graduating, she was offered a job in Chicago and gladly took it to get away from the limitations she felt her parents put on her.

It was in Chicago that she realized her degree would go to waste because there was no way she could continue being an accountant. She lasted in her job for a year, before quitting and taking a job as a barista. It was a small little coffee shop that had open mic nights, which sparked Mina's love for music again.

With her cheap keyboard, Mina began writing her own songs and composing her own music. Sometimes even playing at the coffee shop that she worked at. She continued this for a year.

Alas, the rent was too damn high and Mina had no other choice but to return to Aurora Bay. Luckily for her, Mina didn't have an onslaught of questions from her parents because they had moved to Texas a few months before she came back. She never told them that she quit her job long ago and lies even until this day, telling them that she was laid off due to budget cuts.

She lives in her childhood home with her grandmother. Her grandmother has made it a point not to hassle Mina as she figures out what she wants in life.

She's in a transitional period and completely at a lost for what her goals are and what comes next.

Headcanons:

Mina has an extreme sweet tooth. Catch at the bakery at least three times a week.

Mina has at least six songs that she has wrote and amatuerly recorded but refuses to let anyone but close friends listen to them.

She travels outside of Aurora Bay and to major cities every other weekend to play at bars and sing covers of popular songs.

Mina has a black cat named Severus and a pug named Daenerys.

Despite her lying to her parents about her life direction, Mina is extremely close to her family. She has an older brother(wanted connection) still living in town that she sees frequently.
