I like how in Dune the ceremonial bagpipes that are played when the atreides gang arrives on arrakis looks the exact same as a standard set of bagpipes you’d find today, implying that humanity has already reached the peak of bagpipe technology. There is no more innovation to be had, we have reached perfection in the bagpipe field
