I don't mind headcanons that Bail and Obi-Wan were friends before the clone wars started (and I don't think we're told either way in current canon - as far as I'm aware), but the legends meeting -> near death Speedrun to being TOO close is still my favorite iteration.

Bail being like hey I have a spy who has information on the Sith/a Sith planet but we have to meet her in person to get the goods. Obi-Wan, recovering from a speeder crash, being like this feels like a trap but we really can't ignore this Intel can we. Them getting stuck on a small ship together. They both think each other is kind of stuck up. Bail watching Obi-Wan meditate shirtless.

Meets the spy only to immediately get caught in a firefight and Bail has to experience the realities of war for the first time and it changes his view on the conflict forever. They get to the Sith planet and it is immediately Obi-Whump time in the best way, they are both having the worst times of their lives. They still aren't really getting along. Obi-Wan has to get Bail to promise to kill him at one point if it gets to a certain point. They manage to make it out through the skin of their teeth with five million in jokes and a friendship so close that it makes literally everyone else uncomfortable. What could be better than this.

I haven’t seen this talked about much yet, but I absolutely love that Leia chose the Organas over hearing any more about Anakin or Padme. Leia went on a whole journey this season ON HER OWN that was kind-of subtle. She starts the show unable to sit still, more inclined to put a different child in her place to pretend to be Leia Organa and run into the woods than face her own insecurities, her fears about not being a real Organa. And the moment she figures out that Obi-Wan might know more about her “real” family than he’s saying, she tries to push him on it, she asks if he’s her “real” father.

And by the end, she’s come into her own. She knows who she is, and she knows who she wants to be. She chooses to be an Organa. She chooses to be Princess Leia Organa. Not Leia Skywalker, not Leia Naberrie, but Leia ORGANA. She takes on that name, that mantle, because it is HERS now and she is going to make it fit her, not the other way around.

She tells Bail that if she’s going to do this, if she’s going to be an Organa and a Princess, if she’s going to take on the mantle of leadership, she’s going to make some changes. To which Bail replies, “Then let’s go make some changes” because this is everything he’s taught her, this is everything he’s WANTED in Leia, is for her to come into her own and decide to be an Organa HER WAY. Princess Leia Organa is going to change the world.

And she doesn’t need Anakin Skywalker or Padme Amidala to do it. She never did.

Many in Canada’s legal community are expressing concern about how the overloaded court system could be affected by a Liberal bill that would make bail harder to access for some people facing criminal charges. Senators on a committee probing the legislation will enter the final phase of their study next week by going over the legislation clause by clause and suggesting amendments. Federal Justice Minister Arif Virani has encouraged the Senate to pass the bill quickly, saying the fact that all provincial and territorial governments pushed for the measures underlines their urgency. Police leaders also support the bill, saying these are much-needed reforms after a spate of high-profile killings by repeat violent offenders, who in some cases had been released on bail. But civil society groups and legal advocates representing people who are Black, Indigenous or otherwise marginalized say its measures could worsen the overrepresentation of such groups behind bars — something Liberals have promised to address — while failing to make communities any safer.

In Legends at least, Anakin didn't actually tell Palpatine about Padmé, Palpatine essentially calls him out on it and tells him he already knows and nearly gives Anakin a panic attack

Yoda told Bail, Obi-Wan, and Anakin that there's a leak in the Chancellor's office. So like, Anakin despite wanting to keep Palps informed does actually understand that opsec wise it's not always possible (this might've also been said in Wild Space but if so I completely forgot it)

Anakin loves his men so much but especially Rex, Coric, and GOLD SQUADRON. Damn he loves Gold Squadron

Bail and Obi-Wan bicker/flirt so much and it always makes everyone else surprised or uncomfortable and it's so fucking funny

Anakin, in order to convince Yoda that they should be allowed on this dangerous undercover mission, claimed that if he actually was the chosen one, that he wouldn't be able to be killed until his destiny was fulfilled

(I'm not sure how much he believed it himself but the fact he used that as an argument and then to try and reassure Obi-Wan is very funny)

Ahsoka feels so much responsibility as the chosen ones Padawan it makes me sad

Confirming CNN's reporting that Trump is working with a local bonding company to cover his $200,000 bail. Charles Shaw, the CEO of Lawrenceville-based Foster Bail Bonds LLC, said he'll be posting Trump's bail.

I just started a Rebels rewatch and to anyone who thinks Leia’s love of droids, her opinions on droid rights, and her relationship with LOLA came from Anakin? Please go rewatch Rebels Season 1 Episode 3 again. Predominantly that last scene with Bail Organa speaking to C-3PO and R2-D2.

That man loves his two inherited droids SO MUCH, he is SO gentle with Threepio when Threepio’s like “man, my anxiety is through the ROOF, I need to shut down” and he calls R2-D2 “old friend” and pays SUPER handsomely for their return, not because they’ve got important information stored in them, but because he’s fond of them.

Leia did not inherit a love of droids through blood, she LEARNED a love of droids by EXAMPLE. That is BAIL ORGANA’S influence we’re seeing.
