- So the thing is, Nix’s first thoughts about you were that you share the same red hair as his best mate, the wonderful Dick Winters. Eventually he realises he’s always picking you out from a crowd because of it. He’ll see a group coming towards him and subconsciously lengthen his neck and stand on the edge of his toes just to catch a glimpse the your beautiful red hair, and often he’ll feel disappointed if he can’t find you but if he does, he’ll smile to himself m, contempt that you’re still around.

- The first time he properly talks to you he realises the stunning shade of blue that your eyes are, and he kinda freezes for a second, just staring into them. Once y’all get closer he tends to run his thumb along the bottom of them as he holds your face as a way of showing his affection.

- Lewis absolutely adores your height because it makes for the perfect was to kiss your head affectionately, which is something he does often. He will literally just be walking past you for a second but he will place a hand on your waist and kiss your head before heading off again, by the time you notices, he’s already off with the wind.

- One day he asks you bout the scar on your finger and you explain it to him. He gets this cheeky smirk on his face and shakes his head before saying something along the lines of “my baby’s an idiot”

- Of course Lewis is the intelligence officer yes? So naturally he should be pretty good at remembering things. And he is. So along with his own things to remember he also takes it upon himself to remember things for you also, such as where you left something or a timing for a meeting. You’ll always get frustrated with yourself for forgetting but he knows the exact face you make when you’re trying to remember so he’ll just be like “if it’s your cap, you left it upstairs on the table by the bed, next to the radio and you’re meeting your platoon at 1500 hours.” You just smile up at the man in adoration because it truly makes you feel seen to know he remembers these things bf or you.

- Nix has always been very good at feeling the vibes within a room, so when you’re clearly not up for much conversation he’ll do one of two things; 1. he’ll chatter away to you, filling you in in his day and everything that went on so you don’t have to feel the need to talk yourself, or 2. He’ll put down whatever the hell he’s doing and come and join you in comfortable silence, often involving cuddling up to you on the couch. On the days when you are feeling chatty, he’ll sit and listen, just watching by you with a smile as you blabber on, throwing in the occasional sarcastic comment to which he gets a cheeky glare from you. He generally just loves the way you talk, the things you say even when you’re rambling nonsense, the way your voice sounds especially when you’re switching accents which he’s thinks is bloody adorable. He could literally sit there for hours just listening to you talk, and quite often he does.

- When you’re angry, Nix decides its best to just let the fire cool down by itself. He’ll step back and let you have a go at someone or sit there angrily until you’ve felt it enough to calm down. He often catches glances from Dick, who stares at him with his brows raised as if asking him if he’s going to do anything about you being grumpy and he just shrugs and mumbles a comment along the lines of “they may be my monkey, but it ain’t my circus”

- Your giggles to Nix, however, are something he will definitely get involved with. He often sits in his office doing paper work and coordinating plans when he hears you giggling down the hallway, getting closer and closer by the second. His eyes are already on you as you enter the room, an amused smirk on his lips. You mutter something to him about a joke that Luz had just told you but you can barely get it out cause your laughing so much. Nix can’t help it but laugh to, and eventually you’ll both just be sitting their, stomachs aching from laughing at each other laughing.

- You and Nixon are one in the same when it comes to sleeping, perfect match of two people who just want to go to sleep and stay asleep. Both of you have a habit of feeding off each other’s sleepy energy, making it extremely hard for either of you to get out of bed, hence why it is often Dick who wakes you both, a few gentle nudges for you, and usually a pillow to the face for Nix. Nixon will often groan and bury his head under your arm or into your chest to protect himself from the pillow that Dick raises above his head again. This often sends you into giggles even though the sound is a little scary with clogged up morning voice. Nix gets out of bed only slightly earlier than you because of Dick’s ability to threaten him but not you, hence why he’ll usually let you sleep for an extra 10 minutes before waking you up by peppering your face with kisses, one of the only things that makes waking up feeling like crap bearable.
