I made this for Pinterest, but I figured I’d share it here, too.
These are from my favorite Barbie movies and shows. I swear I learn so much from Barbie. The movies and shows are pure, and I’ve applied things to my life that I’ve learned from them.

They really thought they could just switch up Rafa's VA between the movie and show and I wouldn't notice? Smh, I may have taken like a week break between the two but I still immediately noticed lmao
Anyway I hate to say it but their parents were right- Malibu in particular showed a complete lack of trustworthiness with her pulling this stunt with telling them only in the last minute that not only does she want to stay, but that she auditioned and planned for it behind their backs. I... Do not like Malibu here, she feels really different from how she was in Dreamhouse Adventures and her sudden dream of being a musical star is also completely out of nowhere. In regards to the parents, it's insane that that relatively weak performance got them to change their minds. Also that Malibu's sisters helped, I know if I were in their place, as much as I might've understood... I'd have been too selfish and lonely to convince my parents to let my sister move away, especially with how distant she was already showing herself to be as soon as she's out of their sight. Like, for real!! Such awful behavior from her right in the first episode, what the fuck??
In other news Brooklyn was really cute this episode, I like that it seems like they finally talked things out properly behind the scenes about the whole sprained ankle incident. Actually I'm kinda suspecting that Brooklyn is meant to be the sensical and down to earth one to Malibu's spacey and dreamy nature which? Might help explain why Malibu's personality seems to have changed- to give space for Brooklyn to balance her... But that doesn't make me hate it any less???
I did like that they're keeping up the gay vibe with that whole forbidden lovers writing letters to each other from across the war shtick or whatever, that was really funny and the highlight of the episode for me.
The sisters' scheme was barely comprehensible and not fun to watch and it took WAY too long, fr y'all, the montages worked great in the movie but maybe it's time to STOP
