Three years after the Reach invasion of the Earth is thwarted, Bart Allen is left adrift of purpose in his life. Spending so long preparing to save the world doesn't leave much room for thinking about what comes after. Too bad nobody seems to notice. But lies come to Bart as easy as breathing, and maintaining the timeline has always been much more important than honesty. Trust, however, isn't cheap, and is even harder to come by. Love and safety aren't mutually exclusive, and Bart's about to learn the hard way that his future isn't the only place where dogs eat dogs.

Mature: Gore, torture, human experimentation, Reach-enslavement of the human race and all that entails, teen abduction, human experimentation, unnecessary amounts of angst about the dynamics of time-travel, explorations of trauma and CPTSD, and speedforce shenanigans in the absolute worst way possible. I haven't decided if it's gonna be crazy enough to warrant a DD:DNE tag yet, lol. But... probably.

guuuuuuysssssss I finanlly for the idea! The premise of the ZetaFlash fic. I just rewatched all YJ epiaodes with Ed. But still need understand his powers? Can still teleport only on sight lines? In 'Into The Breach' he flashes right into the pain space but can't get out due to lack of "bearings" which has these meanings

It could be that Ed flashed from into the warehouse which made into the space from bioship but what was his bearing? And like Ed its no cowinky-dink that Ed flashed 1st to Bart. BART WAS HIS BEARING.

And it assumed that Ed's power function similar to Zeta tube tech. Which transports between to fixed location. So I'm writing under the idea that Ed just needs a idea of how far something is. Like saying he want flash from taos to central city. He has to know how far that is. If he flashes to a person he needs to know at least where that person is. For relation and relevance.

Bart lands himself in the hospital after a mission with the Outsiders. Jaime reads him the riot act. He’s still not used to other people caring this much. I'm convinced that during the carnival episode [3x16] Bart and Ed kept calling each other "my friend" and "amigo" as a running inside joke.

Like say they'd been dating for months and not hiding it at all, but hadn't outright said it yet and then all of a sudden the team is like "wait you guys are DATING??? We just thought you were really good friends!" And they found this so funny that they now call each other "friend" and "amigo" as kind of pet names as a joke.
