Basil is Asexual and Aromantic. Unrelated to his distant antisocial nature, this means Basil is uninterested in sexual acts and persuing romantic relationships. There's so much in life to enjoy, to appreciate, and experience. And some things are just more important and interesting to some people than others. Just because he doesn't persue romance and would avoid sexual encounters doesn't make his personal experience any lesser than anothers. Basil has the things he cherishes, lives for, fights for. I hope someday to share more of those things with you. Basil's identity as an AceAro individual is important to me, as that used to be something I shared with him. I've learned a bit more about what a romantic relationship could mean for my personal experience. But Basil and his personal experience are quite different from my own 🤣 Its possible he didn't always know what he wanted and had to figure that out , but by the time of the current events in BasilandThym, he has found that out for himself and honestly I'm so proud of him. I'm proud of all our queer kiddos in the Basil and Thym story 💕🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride. It's been a great month but just because June is over that doesn't mean that you ever have to stop feeling and showing your pride. I won't. I'd like to thank @cartonnhead for inspiring me to write a little extra about a part of the Ace-Aro experience. 🖤 and @sarens_art for the inspiration to finally do a pride Basil. also this image feels so properly Virgo Keep! it makes me happy!! :,) also also a reminder it's SUNDAY!
