i’m just thinking about how, despite it all, he’s just another teenager at DA. they’re all just teenagers and they don’t know how to be ‘functioning’ people. and chazz acts the way he does, so high and mighty, to combat the fact that he’s just like his friends. he can relate to bastion’s drive to win, he can relate to the lack of care from his parents on jaden’s end, he can relate to the inferior treatment via syrus and zane, he can relate to how alexis and atticus are only complete when they’re together. you strip title and status and they’re all the same. and that scares him.

So we had a provincial election last week and they’re still tabulating results and figuring out what our government is gonna look like bc—in a province where for as long as I remember there have been zero conservative seats won—we are staring down the barrel of a potential conservative government, or if not, a burly conservative opposition.

It’s freaking me out. For what it means for this province, and what it’ll mean for the next federal election.

I know a lot of people are frustrated with the NDP but don’t want the liberals back either. I’m frustrated too. I’m also desperately fucking scared my rights are going to be ripped away. And it’s disheartening bc like. I live in a staunchly NDP riding. Again, this election has seen a lot of upsets in that regard, but ours is still bright orange. So like. Idk what I can do exactly. Stay on top of my MLA I guess.

I’m just really scared about the future and to be quite fucking honest, every day I wonder if it would be kinder to my family to off myself now.
