Short Sunderland flying boats.
Queen's Island, Belfast, 1943.
I asked last year, so interested to see what new followers think...
What's the collective noun for a group of Short Sunderlands? 🤷‍♂️

Jake McNiece (right) and another paratrooper carrying equipment after a drop near Bastogne in 1944. An original member of the Filthy 13, he jumped in with the pathfinders so that vital supply drops could be made to the paratroopers already fighting there.

Junkers Ju 87G Stuka Panzerknacker (tank buster) belonging to the great Hans-Ulrich Rudel. Note the two BK 3.7 (Flak 18) 37mm guns hung under the wings just outboard of the landing gears. These guns had six shells each and one shot could knock out a T-34. Probably 1943, possibly Kursk, Eastern Front. For more, see my Facebook group - Eagles Of The Reich

Just awoke from a dream where I tried to explain kinning to my Mum using a mascot for a flavoured iced tea brand called the 'Hai-Chi lychee'. It had a theme song. That theme-song (for, I cannot stress this enough, a FAKE ICE TEA brand) is stuck in my head.
We'd even looked up the definition of fan fiction to use as a jumping off point, and I found some plush toys of the Hai-Chi lychee stufed into bottles to use as props.
Dream me kins the Hai-Chi lychee.
