found out I got a 95 on my linear algebra exam today, genuinely thought I was gonna get around a 70 and an 80 if I was lucky 🧍♂️ I fr BSed my way through the entire thing (started doing the notes for the entire unit the morning of the exam bc I’m insane and I want to see if my body can take it (Markiplier reference) anyway never doing that again 💀 (I in fact, probably will be doing that again))
#life update#linear algebra#why is that a tag#I’m in a toxic relationship with math#linear algebra is one of those classes that makes me feel like im too dumb to be a stem major#physics too when I took it in high school I only got a 2 on my AP exam#granted my teacher did flipped classroom and that teaching style so did not work for me I’m a hands on girly#i literally only learn through fuck around and find out aka doing it wrong in every way possible until I get it right#anyway I managed to get an A in modern mechanics freshmen year of college which is a miracle imo#bc physics is hard and at that time I was still classified as a BFA major so none of the study sessions and tutoring stuff fit my schedule#bc studio and stuff#anyway cry lore drop

#ive always liked him but i was in denial about it until i read the myspace stuff#it was then i realized i wasnt a fool for liking the stereotypical character#because he was rather prominent back in the day#he was one of the only when pizzas attack debutants important enough to be named. he had a myspace account.#in the development of pizzeria he was almost going to have something that people assume was similar to the blue ribbons#but as the focused shifted to gamerias his entire thing kind of became The Food Guy#to the point where theres a joke on the official blog posts about cupcakeria and donuteria of him wanting to order 4 cupcakes and 6 donuts#which is double the maximum amount#i don't really hate that hes The Food Guy (because i relate)#but some people are really mean spirited about it.#and i always used to think#there was no way to justify how upset that made me#because that was just how he is in the games. it was “true”#but like... some people think that's all he is and its not true at all#even if the gamerias make it seem like it is#god if i had a nickel for every time i liked a stereotypical character who had interesting details about them that no one knew about#bc most of the fandom refused to see them as anything but that stereotype#id have two nickels#i would like it to stay at that amount. anyways. id like to tag this properly now#papa louie#flipline studios#flipline big pauly#bluebay art

Just thinking about how for Luke’s parents every parents worst fear came true. Their son ran away, they haven’t had contact in months, don’t even know if he’s alive or where he is, and then one night they turn on the news and there he is, but it’s not because he’s a star. No. He is dead.
The last words that Luke and his mom said to each other were in anger. And we know that Luke’s dad wasn’t even home when he ran away as we can see him just pulling up in the driveway when Emily runs out.
Luke’s last interaction with his mom is him saying he never wants to see her again, but then up until his last days he regrets saying that and keeps looking for ways to reconnect.
But he never got to, because he died. And how did his parents find out? A news channel.

At the end of the week we put down "Bonehead's Bank Holiday". It was the funniest night of the whole session. Noel wanted Bonehead to sing it, and obviously Bonehead was mad for it. But he needed a little Dutch courage so his mate Liam took him to the pub while we were recording the backing track. Poor old Bonehead was such a drunken bastard, he couldn't see the words let alone sing them. Liam (also plastered) insisted on staying in the studio to help his friend out. It was a total mess, twenty takes of drunken slobbering and joke telling. It was no surprise when Noel decided to sing it.

Sometimes I think about hetalia and im like: hey man, what the fuck was all that? Who the fuck let that happen?
#and then i keep recovering memories abt really odd stuff#like. everything about this show seems absolutely radioactive#but like i was watching it as a kid and it wasnt until i was in high school that i started to b like... hm theres something#weird about this. what did adult anime watchers think abt the show? bc as an adult it about boggles my mind#like its such a bad idea on its face and the choice to set a lot of it in wwii with the axis powers like uncritically at its center#makes it even more fucking bazaar. i would absolutely watch a documentary delving into the history of the guy who created the show#the studios that allowed for producion of the manga and the anime and then the public perception#bc i was not really a fandom person when it was big. like i watched the show and read some fics but i didnt really interact with people#i only kno a few horrible things that fans did but im sure there was a lot of really weird stuff#just like. the more i think about it the more insane it seems#a cursed fandom fr#there r two words that make me cringe truely and deeply and one of those words is hetalia#the other is the unironic use of the word yaoi bc i grew up on the early 2010s where i can assure u it was used liberally and earnestly lol
