While Bakura didn't care much about gathering events and was supposed to keep their head low, to not cause trouble… They weren't missing an opportunity to empty some pockets. Old habits died hard. Besides Bakura wasn’t targeting everyone. Only the ones who seemed to have too much. They were doing them a favor by relieving some weight from them.

Anyway, they didn’t expect to spot him here. They could have mistaken him for Marik, but something in the face and body language didn’t lie. Bakura's surprise didn’t last long. They had been brought back, so why not the other too? The smart thing was probably to ignore him and walk away. Bakura wasn't supposed to cause trouble. However… A little payback for that duel wasn't going to hurt. And the pool right beside the man looked like the perfect plan.

And it had been perfect, with a satisfying splash that made Bakura grin. However, they certainly did not expect the other to come back at them. They should have seen that coming, really. A second splash, and they joined the blond into the water.

"You fucking-" was the first thing coming of their mouth when they emerged from the water. They glared at the blond, probably looking more like a pathetic wet cat right now rather than the thief that burned down a whole kingdom. The worst thing wasn't the water, but that now every stolen wallet stored in their jacket was now probably wet. They had no illusion that being in closed inside pockets would prevent it. They would have to dry everything later and that was going to be a pain.

"That was my one good shirt!" They complained when looking down at themselves.

They made an effort to be dressed well -not to the point of standing up, just enough to meddle in without attracting attention. Opening the shirt a bit more than it was conventionally acceptable had probably done the opposite, but when they caught their face, people usually focused more on their scar than anything else.

What’s your OTP for your muse?

I honestly don’t have an OTP fkjdshf in any fandom. But ships I have with mutuals? Those tend to be my OTPs – but usually just with those people if they’re canon muses as I often become attached to people’s specific interpretations rather than who the muse are themselves. This can go into faceclaims too for ocs.

What are you willing to rp when it comes to shipping?

I think it’s easier for me to say what I don’t like when it comes to shipping. Highly toxic stuff is a big no for me personally since it makes me super uncomfortable and I feel bad writing it as a result of this, but other than that, everything is free game I guess??? I also don’t like Aged up muses like individuals who were like 13 or something aged up to 18 for shipping for a verse as that can stay 10000 feet away from me. So come at me with that and get a flat no and a block. I used to see this a while back in certain fandoms so maybe things are better nowadays....maybe.......

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

For immortal muses or muses with very, very long lives, this tends to be free game since as long as both them and the other individual share the same mental / physical maturity and they're adults then we’re good to go. For outside of this, five years is my max and anything above that is too much for me. This is different if both muses are older adults, though, as 40 and 45 become quite inconsequential.

Are you selective when shipping?

VERY. It’s one of the reasons why it can take some time for me to ship with someone in the romantic sense as I need to get to know the mun through ooc communication on the dash or through tags or something. I need to get a feel for those vibes. Since I don’t go into interactions looking for this, that also makes it take some time to actually get to that point. It’s rare for me to go outside of the slow burn period unless I know someone and we’ve talked a lot / discussed things.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they're considered nsfw?

For me, the moment a lot of touching starts to get involved is my cue that things are more than likely going to get pretty spicy from there and to get ready to slap that readmore / nsfw tag on there.

You can most certainly! Just don’t bring it up when we first start interacting because it’ll make me annoyed and that ship more than likely won’t ever happen. As someone who has been used before for having a specific muse for part of a ship, I’ll think that’s the only reason for the interest. Now, if we’re interacting and you see chemistry over time, then you can let me know. That’ll give me an idea of where the interest is, and then from there, if I’m feeling that chemistry too, I can send in those shippy memes without feeling like a weenie. 😭

How often do you like to ship?

I do like shipping, but not too often. Normally when I have a few ships, my interest in it tends to dwindle down into the aether. The type of muses I pick up doesn’t help either as they are often uninterested in romance from the first and or it takes 10 years to get a single doki out of them. Oh to have a muse that is easy to ship...

I like shipping, but I’m very chill about it overall (until we actually start shipping---).

Yesss very much so. For some muses, though, that might be few-ship.

As I said, I don’t tend to be interested in ships much even with fandoms. However, I am fond of Ningguang and Beidou in Genshin. For Honkai, Bronya and Seele, and Natasha and Serval (I say that as if I have Honkai muses on here---). I like these in very specific ways and don’t tend to be fond of how fandom explores a lot of ships in general because I'm weird I guess FJHSJKFFS.

Finally, how does one ship with you?

Just interact! Really, that’s it! Don’t approach me with intent on shipping first time we interact and just let it happen. Talk to me too! His marriage broke down after his realisation that he's actually probably gay more than he ever was straight. This is based in a modern, supernatural-is-normal universe. Completely lose my cool not in terms of anger, but having it tank my mood something huge: that everpresent segment of time that seems like loss of interest but isn't, but you have no way of knowing it unless you're close with the person, that usually discourages me from forming meaningful bonds with my muse entirely. Mostly because it's a recurring occurrance I can't shake off.

Prefacing this by saying that these feelings usually hit me past 9PM, and that you should never listen to anything negative that you're feeling past that hour, as it'll be greatly exaggerated by the brain really kicking into Depressive Territory after that fucking hour.

Maybe a wrong approach to this from my part to be a tad upset about this when it happens, because the person/people is/are probably relaxed enough and the development of their muses is that they don't feel the urgency to consistently scour my blog to look for opportunities to develope them (sending an ask meme, hitting me up to plot a starter, etc.). A bit hurtful all the same, and I'm not going to pretend that it doesn't make me go ''...oh'' when i notice that this is happening- it sucks.

I've found that the best approach I can have to deal with this is put a certaint distance between me and that bond/ship, and stop sending ask memes about them to the mun, who probably has other things in their mind and may feel swarmed/pressured to focus on what our muses have, and consistently reduce how much I interact with the entire thing. Once the mun approaches me with an idea and/or I'm being sent an ask meme, I will calmly get to it whenever I can, and things will go back to normal. 

You're more than allowed to be upset about things like not being prioritized as a rp partner, or outright skipped when it comes to being sent things for interactions. It's completely normal to feel bad about it- it's how you go about dealing with it that's important.

I promised an update on my life/activity and stuff, so here it is! I’ll stuff it all under the cut but the tldr is I’m still here just on a super slow. I’m always down for chats and interactions as long as you’re cool with that!

I’m quite private about myself online so gonna keep this brief (lol watch me do anything but), but I feel like I keep circling back to apologising every few months for not being here enough then punishing myself over it when I’m not magically active again. It’s ultimately a hobby but I still feel bad that people writing with me could be feeling let down/ignored, so I wanted to drop this rather than keep on cycling the same apology until it feels hollow.

Life’s a Lot right now: I’m currently juggling two part time jobs, pretty much full household responsibilities for three people, night-school with essays, and an emotionally intensive placement as part of my training which also involves paperwork. Home life is also less than ideal (won’t go into details). On top of this, I have chronic health problems alongside chronic pain so most days I’m just crabby and exhausted; my mental health could be better but rn it just feels like I’m treading water to get to a place where I’ll have fewer commitments.

Ultimately rp and writing/creative stuff in general is part of how I unwind so I’ll always be around because this outlet is so rewarding, but as it stands I’m just so mentally and pysically drained that when I do have the time I’d rather just switch my brain off and play a bit of a game and have a sliver of social life than try to force out writing which is gonna be sub-par. I’ve been feeling kinda down about my writing for a bit and just feel like I’m giving the same post over and over, which also isn’t helpful!

As for my activity and where y’all fit: I’m still around and intend to be; still responding to DM’s on Discord or IM’s on here (unreliable though they are -_-) just being ridiculously slow with replies and popping reblogs or replies out just as and when. I’m not the type to up and quit, hell I’ve been on this blog for years so I’m going nowhere, just on the go-slow with the odd spurt of like 3-5 replies.

Of course I 100% understand if this weird unpredictable activity doesn’t fit for you: we all have different needs and expectations with this hobby and if me only showing up now and again isn’t gonna work that’s totally ok and you don’t have to follow or write with me: it’s been a blast knowing you!

If you’re chill to stick around and deal with my slowness, please know I WILL get to replies, even if it’s at glacial pace. I’ll post a shot of my tracker/a list up in the future so I can be 100% on what I owe and know you can always check in with me/hold me accountable for stuff. Who the heck is my muse anyway:

Main Verse: She's a Primordial god of destruction that got reborn as the abomination child of Hecate; raised by Jewish lesbians in 90s NYC after the BPRD found her in a sarcophagus. She is constantly fighting against her inherent Ogdru Hem nature of destroying all reality, and just bein being a regular person. Inherited her mom's position as Queen of the Crossroads a few years back and juggles that and BPRD duties.

Points of interest:

Resting bitch face ahoy, and if she's not wearing her glasses (which assume for the most part she is), her eyes. She also has fangs which are more obvious when talking or smiling. Supernatural muses may feel free to 'sense' an odd or unsettling aura around her.

What they’ve been up to recently:

Main timeline: rebuilding the BPRD, lobbying for more supernatural rights, outreach and opening dialogue between the worlds for at least tolerable co-habitation. Guest Lecturing at colleges. Possibly writing a book on early bronze age cultures, and in talks on hosting a doc for BBC.

Where to find them:

New York, Fairfield (BPRD Headquarters) mainly, but her job(s) take her everywhere. Her family house in Limbo/Erebus and sometimes bothering the Hadean court. (Their Wifi sucks though.)

Current plans:

Not really? Just remade her blog to in-character shitpost, but if wills want more plotted stuff I'm down but I'm keeping it very chill here.

Desired interactions:

Cracky, fun, casual with little high stakes stuff at the moment is ideal. But more planned out stuff is possible. Bureau Shenanigans (Like The Office/WWDITS) style shit that's a little weird, crazy, but slice of life because that's life at the BPRD, especially HB/Kar sibling shenanigans. (But it doesn't have to be!) Fellow Chthonics/Gods just being regular jagoffs in the mortal realm is a vibe I like. (Example: Like her and other Psychopomps having a group chat to settle who's covering what that night, etc. Dropping memes or whatnot.). May open her up to ship again but not sure yet. Just started and haven't vibed enough yet and I'm not assuming any of my old partners are interested in picking things back up.

Offered interactions:

Archaeologist by training, can do expeditions or research. BPRD Agent/Director, can be involved in investigating the paranormal & supernatural and arbitrating on it. She's a goddess of the underworld, envoy of the Fates, etc etc, so dealing with the dead, dying, and politics of the other underworlds. So you can play into that. RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : I don't know. Maybe don't spoonfeed me my own muse's reaction. Also, don't badger me for replies. 9/10 it is probably pending on me and I am just slow. I acknowledge this.

MUSE PREFERENCES: I think I end up defaulting to more serious, stoic characters because they are easiest to write, but I try to have some variety here and there.

PLOTS OR MEMES : I fair better with memes because I do best with spontaneous interactions. Plotting is fine with me, though I tend to deviate a bit from a strict outline since my muses drive the interaction.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : Both. I have a habit of being verbose and end up writing extremely long replies, but short back-and-forths/headcanoning are equally as interesting to me as novella replies.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : Any time? I craft replies at work, when I'm chilling outside, between game sessions, etc. My inspiration doesn't really wane, it's more so if I can make the writing read well. Though, I can't actually post a reply unless I'm on a desktop/my laptop for formatting (unless we're on Discord).

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : Ironically, I talk and act the most like Suigetsu, but the only thing I might share with my muses is passion for the arts (Izuna, Sasuke) or for science (Tobirama, Orochimaru).

MOST ACTIVE MUSE(S)?: Currently Roth Kruger, though I’m kinda jumping blog to blog rn. Expect me to be active with my Fallout blogs in the coming days. After all, I get homesick for my first fandom.

RP PET PEEVES?: A lack of communication tends to annoy me. Metagaming and controlling my character ( without discussion ) tends to annoy me as well.  I also cannot stand rudeness or elitist behavior.  Other than that, I’m fairly chill.

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: I’ve been RPing for fifteen slutty, slutty years. In that time, I’ve seen tons of changes to fandoms and even Tumblr.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: I will admit, I was something of a gadfly once. Usually, I was annoying people that aggrieved me personally. I was also very pessimistic and fatalistic, which eventually I grew out of. Roth embodies these traits that made me so troubled.

Also, me and Roth love movies from the 70s and 80s. I also love older music/fashions and just stuff from Roth’s era. So, there’s another overlap for me and the blue cabbie.

BEST EXPERIENCE : ummm gee okay i cant just name one it turns out life is actually about the accumulation of small joys and not just a few big ones but every time i get in the car and listen to my music and go OH! THIS REMINDS ME OF THIS PERSONS MUSE AND OUR DYNAMIC! or when talking to people inspires me to draw little comics (esp while im at work let me live) it really just makes me so so happy

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : im pretty chill for the most part i think like ive definitely mellowed out a lot over the past few years but. i gotta say it:

formatting. the over-formatting of everything is killing me. i cant read most peoples carrds. i dont even know how they read it, because of how insanely tiny the text is. eye strain colors, hard to see icons, weird fonts... i dont mind a little bit of formatting, naturally, like go girl give us everything, but its getting to the point of being genuinely frustrating that almost every new blog i encounter has me fighting for my life just trying to learn the important info. i have visual and neurological issues please lord im only seven

MUSE PREFERENCES: seconding cam on if the "when someones pulled a muse apart like the spaghettification of a star and then put them back together". its fascinating. i think the fun part about rp is that i get just as invested in my partners character and what they get out of each thread as much as i do mine, so when people sit there and talk about their ideas and meta and really dig into that thing like . WHOOO NOW WE'RE COOKING

PLOTS OR MEMES : I like both! I think memes are good to kick things off regardless, and I dont mind building off of it. I like to plot a lot ooc but more in a loosey-goosey kind of way; i really like to get to know other muns and their characters and also talking is just sort of how i think through things so its very helpful to me. i also just get a lot of ideas because these things live rent free in my head but to me a natural progression is more important than like, sticking to a script.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : i write insanely long replies because i have things wrong with me. theres NEVER any pressure to length match-- a lot of the time im just doing it to establish exposition or setting so the other person finds it easier to work with. just give me something i can work with and we are a ok :D

BEST TIME TO WRITE : it really depends... i typically end up writing in the evening/afternoon because of my schedule. i think the biggest thing is that i work on weekends, so you may only hear from me ooc on those days. im also really trying to fix my sleep schedule.........to varying levels of success. sometimes the thread is too good

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : just talking about monoma here... i've also got a pretty snappy mouth and natural love of finding loopholes, but i just went into paralegal instead of making it class A's problem. i also love to laugh, but id like to think im a lot less meanspirited about it

BEST EXPERIENCE : honestly sobbing my eyes and soul out because of interactions or potential scenarios that I discuss with friends. I crave that sweet, sweet pain. It's at times like those that I really go, 'wow, all this that we create... Art, really. This is what makes life worth living'. It is honestly one of the best feelings for a writer to feel.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : I don't think I have many...? Mostly because I am pretty chill with stuff. I guess I will mention the usual god-modding stuff or forcing headcanons onto my character, though it rarely happens.

If I have to give a more specific answer, though...? Hm. This might sound controversial, but it is heartbreaking to see that people do not distinguish fiction from reality anymore. Especially when that translates into attacking//bashing//starting fandom witch hunts, only because someone likes certain contents or ships you don't like or find "immoral".

I have been roleplaying for many years and I have always thrived in fandoms whose contents or nature could be easily seen as controversial ( if you know Diabolik Lovers, I'm blowing you a little kiss ), so it's rather weird to see people so sensitive these days. Not that you have to enjoy x or y, but if you don't, then simply curate your own space and go on with your day. You don't have to attack others or make them feel inferior for enjoying something you don't. I've seen firsthand, multiple times, people who stopped writing, drawing or just creating in general because they were attacked for it. Not cool.

TLDR; Just let people enjoy what they want and write what they want. I don't need to be more direct than this to get my point across. Learn to differentiate a person's interests from their true nature. If you're not capable of doing that, then... Well. We're probably not meant to be.

MUSE PREFERENCES: For settings, I prefer writing angst! Fluff! And surprisingly domestic, day-to-day stuff. But when it comes to muses, I tend to lean toward complex, multifaceted ones. Usually ones that choose to present themselves in a certain way and carry out a performance of sorts, that may not truly represent their deepest inner musings, thought patterns, or genuine feelings.

PLOTS OR MEMES : I tend to lean toward memes because I'm not very good at plotting + Kaeya has a mind of his own. I'm just here to type, he leads fdghjhr

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : Long! I do not know how to be concise and I love partners who match that energy www

BEST TIME TO WRITE : It depends on my mood. I don't have a preferable time to do it. When motivation strikes --- that's the best time to write.
