Here is the collection that started it all for me, the reason why I am deeply in love with all things whimsical and folklore.

These Russian Balkan warriors were the creation of John Galliano for his own label 2009.

The looks were layered, each model wore atleast 5 pieces joined together to create a beautiful armor.

Love this collection to death.

Sarah Burton's McQueen is thriving more than ever, with stunning new silhouettes, new textures and techniques which give you possible hint of what the story must be.

The Red print is such a homage to what McQueen would have done/has done in his collections, while the beautiful beaded silver almost Armor like dresses are standouts, it's as if there is a war that these looks are about to fight in.
